183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kitco : Bitcoin Sucks on: October 25, 2011, 05:12:49 AM
Kitco really sees Bitcoins as a competition.  Kitco is currently being sued by the government for tax evasion and so on.  Interesting, nonetheless.

Competition for tax evasion ?

lol, no.  Competition as an alternative form of currency at the moment.  I saw Nadler at investment shows a couple times.  Very articulate guy who always gets it wrong.

188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Open Metaverse / OpenSim on: October 22, 2011, 05:18:18 AM
The truth is Metaverse is a centralized currency integrated with Virwox.  If Bitcoin comes into play then Metaverse will lose some aspect of autonomy.  This essay was just for show as they have their minds made up already.  I believe Metaverse is tied to Euro at this point.

When is the change gonna take place?  Won't mind paying for a percentage for steady uptime.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Max Keiser speaking at Bitcoin Conference in Prague on: October 20, 2011, 02:35:30 AM
Great speaker line-up!  I'm glad we are building a really good foundation instead of just hyping up the price of bitcoins.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin limbo - how low will we go? on: October 18, 2011, 02:06:13 AM
Someone is seriously selling - this is now the 3rd batch.

From the desk of Tom Williams... in Poland.

WTF "Other" has more than 51% hashing power according to Bitcoin Watch.  Does it mean that we are !@#$#?
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks caught stealing Can't be prosecuted because its all of them. on: October 11, 2011, 09:01:30 PM
Hey Davinci, what happened to your hashing power?  I thought you had 10Gig awhile ago?

195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin7.com 'hacked'. Database and wallets 'stolen' on: October 06, 2011, 02:23:08 AM
I found out who they are:

This is a proxy domain.  We don't really know who they are.

I can envision so many bitcoin exchange jokes now.  Heh.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin7.com 'hacked'. Database and wallets 'stolen' on: October 06, 2011, 02:12:17 AM
B7's volume is not very high.  This goes to show that they do not have a good financial backing if they can't even refund in full amount without seeking outside investors.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] The World's First Bitcoin Luxury Wrist Watch! on: October 05, 2011, 03:12:04 AM
SLICK!  How many bitcoins are you selling the watch for nowadays?
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Publicly traded mining business? on: September 23, 2011, 12:01:50 AM
What's the long term capital asset?  The amount of cash you have on reserve?  Hardware/equipment cost?

The long term capital assets consist entirely of BitCO's hardware.  Cash (on reserve) is held entirely in BTC and is listed in short term assets.

7.5k of hardware is hashing out 10 gh?  That is impressive considering the hardware is well protected.
