What kind of fees are there for using Blockmarket? I'm wondering how affordable it will be because that sometimes impacts the number of people who are willing to use a market.
Currently fees are 0.019 SYS to create an Alias(that last 1 year), 0.019 SYS to place an ad (which also lasts 1 year). There's also very small "dust" fees for all other transactions (0.00001 SYS) such as sending and receiving funds (like all crypto wallets), sending encrypted messages, etc Syscoin 2.2 fees will be even less expensive for the simple transactions mentioned(~100k transactions for one Syscoin), but could also be more expensive as it will be cost per amount of data that is transferred in the transaction, reducing possible bloat, yet providing the most cost-effective and secure blockchain technology. Thanks for the reply. That's extremely cheap compared to what I was expecting. I think low fees are going to increase users, so good job on that. I wonder how you were able to keep transfer fees so low? |

Will DATA be on better exchanges soon? Has there been any work to try to get it on Binance or others? I don't want to wait too long so if it is not in progress, what exchange do you guys recommend to get DATA now?
I think if you wait until they get on Binance or other larger exchanges then the price will likely rise. I would say it might be best to just get it on the exchanges you can right now for as cheap as it is. I like gate.io. |

What makes StreamR different than IOTA? Do you see IOTA as a competitor? What are you doing differently?
In my opinion, IOTA and StreamR are really completely different and I wouldn't personally even consider IOTA a competitor. They have different functions. IoT produces large amounts of data that have little use outside of real time. StreamR is different because they allow streaming of real time data for payment. Basically, it seems that IOTA focuses more on micropayments of bills and StreamR is more focused on the actual trading of information. Basically, in the article they mention what they plan to do differently than IOTA and the benefits of StreamR. So basically it seems they are trying to learn and do something better. With this project, will users be able to drive the direction of Decentraland? For example, can users set up games to play with other users on land? Or rent out land for a time? Maybe even have quests and things to keep users entertained?
From my understanding, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, it seems like users are able to drive what happens in this world. They are able to do what they want on their own land. If a subset of users want to set up games / quests / whatever, on their own land, then there is no restriction. It's just up to them to get it going. I think that's one thing about this project that I really like is that the sky is the limit. It seems like it will be more lifelike than RPG like, but I'm sure there will be some flexibility for both. Basically, whatever you can do in the real world they want you to be able to do in the game. Like throwing a concert, or having a group therapy meeting. You could be a therapist, and set up ads for your services to be rendered in game for real cryptocurrency. I never even thought of those ideas. This is exactly why I'm so excited for this project to grow. It's driven by the users which all have really unique ideas. I doubt this would ever get boring. I wonder if they could create a place for users (maybe a blog or chat room) or something so people could communicate ideas like this and work together to make it happen. |
