181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping Nxt and here's why you should too on: January 07, 2014, 12:15:18 AM
I'm out of NXT also.

I was smart enough to cash out everything at .00013, making over 20x my original purchase at .00000550. Although I lost some of it buying back in at .00009 thinking it would go back up after the source code release. So I lost a little bit selling out at .00007.

The coin is way over valued at this point in time, even at .000058.

The other thing is I am going to invest the money in Emunie, which is a 2nd generation coin and will have a fair distribution by having a pre-buy where everyone can buy in equally.

I would feel better investing my money in a coin where everyone bought in at the same price. Why invest in NXT, when you have major stake holders holding all the coins.

Does anyone else think Emunie is a good place to invest your money?

I'm also out, having enjoyed a 20x gain as well.  I figured the source code release would cause a dip.  The only thing a code release will do is unleash FUD in the short term.  NXT long term is anyone's guess.  My hunch is it won't go too far.  Not only are you fighting the usual anti crypto people but you're fighting Bitcoin for marketshare as well.  The name of the game with the alts is get in low, get out high, and move on to the next one.  Just my 2 satoshis.

Exactly.

The NXT coin is Emunie LOL. Fair distribution, going to have everybody buying in at the same time, who will sell at a loss? No downside risk.

You outsmarted me with knowing the code release would cause a drop. I thought it would at least cause a short term spike.

Anyway, those bastards at NXT got me because they decided not to sell below .00009, causing me to buy in at that point while I was waiting for it to fall below .00005. I wanted to buy in before the code release, and was waiting for it to fall even below .00005, until those stake holders decided not to sell below .00009 causing a quick rise in price.

Guys, avoid NXT or you will learn your lesson also.
182  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm cashing out my bitcoins. Anyone else feeling a drop coming soon? on: January 06, 2014, 11:42:12 PM
I made a bad call this time about bitcoin, because the alt-coin market was going to crap, and I figured the bitcoin market was also. Just read my original post, I mentioned cashing out of the alt-coin market. I never traded bitcoins, only bought them to invest in alt-coins, so I never watched the bitcoin market.

I was right about the alt-coin market at the time, and cashed out before mostly everything fell. I cashed out on Nxtcoin at the peak of .00013 making over 20x my original investment at .00000500.
I got scammed and rebought in at .00009 before the source code release when the NXT cartel decided to peg the price at .00009 forcing me to buy in high. Then I sold out at .00007 and warned everybody at .00007 that I am cashing out at that point and why. Just an hour after I warned people on the forum the price dropped from .00007 to .00005. I got scammed here due to blatant price manipulation. But I still profited from my 20x rise.

However, the alt-coin market was failing because they have to share all the money being invested in them. Most of the crappy ones will fall, and only few will survive and it will only get worse.

Trust me, I am warning people away like crazy in the alt-coin community about the inevitable price collapses of many of the crap-cions, as the market is so tiny and they have to continually share any growth with all the others and all the new temporary hot ones coming out. Plus I try and let people know just how high the growth rate is on many of them which will inevitably make them fail in the tiny market.
Trust me, many people don't like me over there, just like most don't like me here.

There was a time you could have profited with alt-coins but you have to play it very smart. I never invested in bitcoins directly, I still have about 7 bitcoins from selling alt-coins, I sold very little of them as I basically decided to sell if they went under $675 and if it didn't just ride the wave up.

However, I did make a bad call here thinking the bitcoin market was tied with the alt-coin market, which it really isn't. Weakness over there does not mean bitcoin weakness. My mistake. I really should have made the title, "I'm cashing out my alt-coins".

Actually, the reason that bitcoin may have rose was because the alt-coin market is failing and people are putting their money back into bitcoins now. It has actually made it stronger! Which I failed to see.

Just read some of my posts, I warned people in the Emark to cash out at .0003, and gave them good reason to. I already cashed out at .0004 after buying in at .0001. They gave me the same non-sense you guys give me that I don't know what I'm talking about. The Emark went down to .0002 and will go back to .0001 for sure.

So you guys may say I am always wrong, with a few understandable misjudgments, I am usually right. Yes I was stupid not buying bicoins at $2.00, but I still told everyone it was way overvalued from $30 to $2.00. Does that really make me always wrong because I didn't buy in at that time.

So in a way I was right again, cashing out of alt-coins before the inevitable collapse. Just shouldn't have posted here in the topic that I'm cashing out my bitcoins.

183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is Emunie a better investment than NXT coin? on: January 06, 2014, 11:05:37 PM
I made some profit on NXT and thinking about investing in another coin now.

I like Emunie for the fact that they will have a more fair coin distribution. I do not like the fact that just a few people bought the NXT for just thousands of dollars and now they are hoarding most of it, and slowly dumping it onto the market at any price increases. They already stole some of my profits with their blatant market manipulation. So I'm done with NXT, unless it falls down to a reasonable price which accounts for having a billion coins.

I think that since everybody will buy in at the same price with Emunie, people will be more wiling to support the coin and help to progress it. They also will not sell it cheaper than they paid, so the downside risk should be low if you get into the pre-buy.

We all know the stigma with the alt-coins, many are pre-mined and made to make the early adaptors or miners rich. I think this hurts most coins in the long run and people don't stick with them, except the few people who got in early for cheap.

I am convinced that only coins which have fair distribution will make it in the long-run.

I would like to hear some of your opinions on what you think about investing in Emunie? Maybe there are some reasons I haven't heard that make it a bad investment.

185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: =POLL = Real value of EAC? on: January 06, 2014, 01:12:09 AM
Lets face it, most likely and surely earth coin will end up like all the other alt-coins. Prices will eventually stagnate and drop.

There are over 612 million of these coins, I don't even want to know what the growth rate is. Like someone said before, if the price rises than the miners will come in to profit and dump the coin.

The more I deal with these alt-coins the more I just ask myself, why don't I just buy bitcoins.

Even these 2nd generation coins are a total gamble and most likely will fail. They are not even decentralized.

Look at NXT coin. supposedly 20 people bought the 1 billion coins for like $5,000 to cover the costs to develop.

Why would anyone want to invest money in a coin like NXT, when it can be developed for as little as $5,000. I'd rather just put my money in what chase is going to develop. I'd rather trust a big bank like chase to store my money in a centralized money system than something like NXT.

Don't be fooled here, and you guys claiming EarthCoin will be .50 cents are just stupid and don't understand the crypto market very well. At this rate there will be a new hot alt-coin in just a few days that everybody will jump to.

I have seen the same crazy price predictions in all the new alt-coins, be it, Dogecoin, NxtCoin, Emark, WorldCoin. All baseless predictions really.

Have you even thought about that bitcoin may cost 10000$ in 2015 -2016 ?
Now please calculate again and tell us that 0,5$ wont happen.

I just don't see it happening, too many alt-coins and they pretty much all share the same investment money.

You have to face the facts that Earthcoin is just like all the other alt-coins. They seem to come and go now very quickly. Maybe there will be a lucky winner, but odds are not in your favor.

.50cents is ridiculously high and especially can't see that happening with how many coins are mined each day and how many are available.

If Earthcoin was the first coin to come out, like before bitcoin than yes, but being an alt with 100's of other coins, nope.

Invest smartly guys, sorry to insult anyone calling them stupid if they think it will go to .50 cents. It is just a 1 in a million chance.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Deutsche eMark - DEM - altcoin SHA256 POS/POW on: January 05, 2014, 09:25:21 PM
I don't think you understand just how high the growth rate of DEM really is.

Lets look at the maximum total amount of coins

Emark 20 Billion coins
StableCoin 250 million
CraftCoins 100 million
Copper lark 27.2 Million Coins
MinCoin 10 million coins

Coins produced per day

Emark = 36,000
StableCoin = 36,000
CraftCoin = 2,880
CopperLark 18,000 (please verify as this seems too high, but still limited coins)
Min coin = 2,880

My selling of only 7,000 coins into the market dropped the price from .00042 to .00038
and it only went downhill from there. Just think what 36,000 coins a day will do to the tiny market in just a few weeks.

Current rate when I told you to sell was .0003 now it is .00023. It will have its ups and downs before people realize that the price can not rise higher with this high growth rate. There are a few people still thinking they can profit on this coin.

Some people (like I used to) probably don't realize what this high growth rate will do. That is why I am offering the smart people here who may not have realized it had such a high growth rate to cash out before the price goes down to .10 cents and lower.

I just added stablecoin to the list and the funny thing is it has a growth rate right now equal to that of Emark. Stable coin is barely holding on to .10 cents a coin and most likely has a much bigger community behind it.

I bought some stable coin recently but will be unloading that also as the growth rate is just too high. Hopefully it gets close to .10 cent where I think I bought in at.

I am not here to troll you guys but offering you facts to help you make your decision here. The growth rates are just too high and what you have to understand is you are now sharing the growth rate of all the alt-coins together.

When people invest in alt-coins they spread their money around, with the rate new alt-coins are coming out you will have to share the money with the others. Basically, mostly all of these alt-coins will be going to pennies again.

The more I invest in these alt-coins the more I realize I should just invest in bit-coin only. I did profit from alts, but that is slowly going to fade as people realize just what they are dealing with here.

My recommendation to you guys is to only invest in coins that have a very low growth rate and total amount of coins. That is really all the market can support. Where do you think all this money is going to come from to support all these new alt-coins all being added together?

To top it off you will have miners who will equalize the price if any rise too high. They will mine it until it has the same profitability as  all the others including bitcoin. That is why your probably better off just parking your money in bitcoin as that is the main coin everything is based around and you can liquidate your positions quick with bitcoin.

187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SBC] From Death Comes Life – The Rebirth of StableCoin - URGENT UPDATE on: January 05, 2014, 09:17:47 PM
Can someone tell me how many stablecoins are produced each day through mining?

Normally I would think 40 second block time at 25 coins per block would be = 900 coins per day. But that is too low and obviously wrong  Huh,

New target is a 60-second block time. So, 1440 * 25... or ~36,000 SBC. Obviously, this is just a target and doesn't include the transaction fees that may be added to a particular block.

Wow, that is a high growth rate. Never calculated based on block time in seconds. That is what I overlooked, I did it in minutes instead of seconds.

If you buy this coin you are basically making a statement.

The only statement you make by buying this coin would be that you're retarded.

Selling 20 shekels for 1 BTC never will you see an offer such as this on the internet.

Well, speaking of retarted. Look at the coin you based your user name from.
191  Local / Announcements (Deutsch) / Re: [ANN] Die "Deutsche eMark" - unser deutscher Altcoin - SHA256,POS&POW on: January 03, 2014, 08:46:06 PM
Hello,

I liked this coin and bought 7000 of them at .00012 bitcoin.

I recently sold all of them at .00042 bitcoins.

Why did I sell them? I was reading the the English section of the forum when someone wrote that 250,000 Emarks are created weekly.

I calculated the math and he is correct. This growth rate is so high and unsustainable. That is why I sold my Emarks immediately.

The reason why the Emark went up in value is because people like me did not realize it was recently created in October and thought it was coin with a slow growth rate as it only had 250,000 coins.

This coin will surely go back down to .0001 bitcoins  and even lower with its high growth rate of coins. In just a few months the number of Emarks will double from 3 million to 6 million.

There are many new alt-coins coming out every day. Any alt-coin with too many coins will surely fail in this market.

The E-mark should have been kept around a million coins. That is what the market can handle for alt-coins. Anything higher than too many people have coins and it will eventual fail.

I recommend you sell now and take profit before it is too late! If I would have known this I would have sold all at .0008. You will see the coin slowly drop from this point on steadily as the number of coins grows.

This coin can have success. The reason many people are into bitcoins in the first place is because of the people who control the USA monetary system. The people in the know, know who they are.

This is the perfect coin to show our disapproval of that. If you buy this coin you are basically making a statement.

This is only if you leave the original logo I believe.

197  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm cashing out my bitcoins. Anyone else feeling a drop coming soon? on: December 30, 2013, 10:17:01 PM
I'm still in with most of my bitcoins as I decided to sell if it goes under $675.

Just calculating my gains and it looks like I made $4785 in profit with only having invested an average amount of money of $3000 to $3500. All this was made in just a few weeks of playing around. Many of the bitcoins were even purchased at above $850 and even high $900's.
EDIT: actually my first bitcoin purchase was around December 10th and only for a small amount.

That means I made over 150% gain by playing with bitcoins.

Just thinking about it, it is so easy to win in this game because so many people like most of you bulls don't know what your doing. Don't know when to pull out and are easy to rob money from. Basically you all think the various coins are going to the moon, while I am cashing out at the highs and staying away from overpriced coins.

Maybe I will stick around to rob more of your guys money. Especially now that I really know what I am doing and am a much better trader.

This is speculation right or is it not? I am stating my position that I am cashing out.

Why can't you stop derailing my posts and discuss your position intelligently?

Just maybe your intuition is telling you the same and you don't want to admit it or hope to not believe it, so you attack me?
199  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm cashing out my bitcoins. Anyone else feeling a drop coming soon? on: December 29, 2013, 05:21:25 AM
I'm just losing interest in this whole crypto currency thing. It was fun in 2011 after it peaked, fun in 2013 after it peaked.

However, I just lose interest as I find it unproductive to speculate.

Will put my stop-loss in at around $645. If it hits that I'm out, if it goes higher than I'll ride it higher.

Pulled all my alt-coin positions out and made about 50% profit gambling there over the last couple of weeks.
