181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some till don't understand crypto and bitcoin on: November 21, 2020, 07:41:00 AM
I believe that crypto make it this far thanks to bitcoin, the toughest wars in the past was fought by bitcoin, it's really not hard to understand how bitcoin works, I've seen millionaires like this that got confused but later change their point of view, warren buffett himself ridiculed crypto and bitcoin many times but not anymore today, this man (SoftBank CEO) will come around too
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would Ethereum and similar projects have a negative impact if this happened? on: November 21, 2020, 07:35:37 AM
It's not possible for Bitcoin to go smart contracting because that's not the aim of its creator (Nakamoto), bitcoin wasn't build with smart contract ability in mind and also bitcoin creator perfected bitcoin and stay anonymous till date because of so many reasons, bitcoin is perfected and nothing can be added anymore
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE STILL GET THE 2017 BULL IN THIS 2020? on: November 20, 2020, 07:54:25 AM
Very possible, 2017 hype was based on ICO success and hypes but now it's all about real adoption, the difference is there and as you can see this year bullish is way stronger than what we saw years ago, 20k will be a piece of cake for Bitcoin to handle this time around and once it's done the door will open for altcoins too
184  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers are using the name of Airdrop to take the wallet's private key. on: November 20, 2020, 07:52:18 AM
I've seen this type of trick locally, meaning in my very own country scammers are using this trick to steal private keys, newbies are the ones who need to be careful because they don't always want to learn, they are always eager to make some money unwisely
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Portfolio before and after the pandemic on: November 19, 2020, 06:58:22 AM
Nothing happened to my portfolio before and after the pandemic, many if my funds was held in USDT and I escaped the loss when bitcoin goes down to 3,000 plus in March this year but I never knew that it was a big opportunity to buy bitcoin if not I would be in big profit right now
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: November 19, 2020, 06:55:50 AM
Damn! I really can't choose one over the other, this is a tough decision OP, why can't you make all of the above available on the voting tab? Cos bnb and Ethereum are both very good altcoins, presently I'm holding these two altcoins in my portfolio, I have no reason to leave one out for the other.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto Scammer on the run on: November 18, 2020, 06:43:08 AM
Those who lose money to this shit scam projects will find it hard to trust crypto currency but it's their fault as well, learning should come first before any other things in crypto space, it's why people lose money, they are in rush to take advantage but not knowing it's a trap
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto Scammer on the run on: November 18, 2020, 06:41:21 AM
You shouldn't blame me from running away from any crypto project that has a nigerian as one of its members, I don't hate this country but it's majority of its people are something else, not all nigeriana are bad though but .......here is a news I came across yesterday,

Nigeria Authorities Put mastermind of Inksnation and Pinkoin blockchain projects on wanted list

The full details can be read on here too

https://news.bitcoin.com/nigerian-authorities-put-mastermind-of-the-inksnation-crypto-scam-on-wanted-list/

This scammer is smart, the project never get to bitcointalk forum because we are too smart for him, he will get red tagged instantly because the project is a complete HYIP made on fake promises, there is no ANN or anything and he target his on local people, I can't believe that some people are still this stupid honestly, all those who invested don't know anything.
189  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I Leave cryptocurrency and hate cryptocurrency on: November 17, 2020, 07:11:15 AM

190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I could consider staking if .... on: November 17, 2020, 07:06:00 AM
You can stake on trust wallet and few other mobile wallets but you still need to move your coins from your wallet to the stake wallet, I think this is a must, since you aren't moving from the wallet to any third parties it's safe to be honest, using wallet is even safer than exchange staking
191  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Could you recommend some advertising platform? on: November 17, 2020, 07:01:53 AM
Hello, I started promoting some affiliate marketing offers, but I can´t find a good traffic source.
I have tried Facebook, Bing, and Google ads, but all of them have a pretty high CPM rate.
Do you know about any other service that provides good traffic with a good conversion rate for a lower price?
Thank you for every tip.  Wink
Facebook ads is the best, there is no easier way than using Facebook ads, I've paid many advertisers in the past and wasted money in return, the only platform that works better is Facebook ads, don't listen to YouTube videos lying about how much they've made through affiliate marketing, the truth is the higher percentage of their income are money they used for advertising, not the main income
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We need more decentralized stablecoins on: November 14, 2020, 08:15:40 AM
I'm satisfied with USDT, USDC and DAI, I'm very familiar with these three stable coins and their use cases are the same, USDT has more exposure as a stable coin because it's not only available on Ethereum ERC20 buy others too, USDT has the highest volume over all and it's centralized just like USDC, the only decentralized stable coin here is DAI
193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice to convert BTC to USD via western union on: November 14, 2020, 08:13:26 AM

194  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Support our crowdfunding campaign and Help Children with Cancer from Venezuela on: November 13, 2020, 07:59:47 AM
Tears for smiles

Since our birth as an institution in 2010, we have helped hundreds of children and their parents to overcome the terrible disease that is cancer, thanks to obtaining treatments, as well as help in feeding and educating these children.

As is well known, the condition of the health system in Venezuela is very precarious, which is why treating childhood cancer has become an increasingly difficult task.

However, from Fancarf we continue to bet on helping those who are close to our institution, for which we require more and more resources, since drugs to treat cancer are becoming more expensive in Venezuela.

So your contribution BTC is important so that we can achieve our goal of expanding our aid to the entire Venezuelan territory, since currently we are limited to only serving children from the states of Carabobo, Falcón and Yaracuy.

We hope you can support us to exchange tears for smiles.

I can only send money to helpless children with concrete evidence, I've been scammed with this trick two years ago, I was so dumb to asked for concrete evidence, I end up sending money to some scammers who are just using pictures from the web to fool people into thinking that they are really helping homeless and helpless children around the world
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The bounty scam will gradually go away on: November 13, 2020, 07:53:05 AM
Bounty scam will will always be present in crypto space, scammers are in massive numbers in crypto space because they can easily find new people to prey on and we always have newbies coming on this forum almost everyday so not all newbies have the proper lessons to avoid scam projects and some of them don't even want to learn
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Be aware of a possible new exchange SCAM - I need your opinion on: November 12, 2020, 07:50:41 AM
Good afternoon,

I would really appreciate your advice on something as I believe that I was a victim of scam yesterday but I am not 100% sure.

I was told by someone that I know the last month and never met in person about an investment opportunity. Before you tell me that I am an idiot, how I was involved with this person and the reason that I trusted her is another discussion.

The coin is named VOT (Valid Order Chain) and is listed in an exchange that is called www.kolomine.com. I searched online if this exchange is a scam and I could not find any advere media. I then sent my whole bankroll 0.5 BTC and I bought VOT. Invite Code and account authentication were also needed which made the possible scam more real.

However, today I noticed the following, I can not sell the VOT coins that I bought and according to that person the ico needs to be ended in order for me to be able to sell. I could not find any ico details online. The service email has a gmail domain. There are only four wallets available (BTC, ETH, USDT and VOT) but the website operates with 23 coins for trade. When you press buy you go to another page where the following info are available.

VOT ERC20 Token Address:0x3d7afa0322f6dd2e28c16271d74e5aa22f968b48

Total Supply: 100,000,000  VOT

Total subscription: 70,000,000  VOT

Private placement price: 0.046 USDT

Subscription Time: 90 days

The Token Address belongs to VOT but there are no transactions available. The white paper is also available but I was not able to find any of the founders in the Linkedin and their names seem to be ordinary.

I am 99% sure that I was victim of a scam and I just remembered the reason that I stopped dealing with all crypto sh*t 3 years ago.

Please tell me your opinion on this.

Thank you

It definitely looks like a scam exchange, stay away and stick with well known crypto exchanges only, scammers aren't going to stop, they will keep building scam projects and scam exchanges, once you made deposit on such exchange it's a good bye to your coins, be extremely careful
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cloud storage isn't safe place for your wallet keys on: November 12, 2020, 07:46:53 AM
Since 2018 I've been writing down my recovery seeds on a big note in my room and I have no problem wit my wallet so far, I'm living among those who don't even care about crypto technology and my room is my privacy where no one can just come in looking for anything, it's better to do the same before private keys are only safe offline
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: November 11, 2020, 06:32:50 AM
Scammers have been in crypto space since 2018 now and yet very promising new projects still rise up, it doesn't make sense to ditch off new projects because of scammers, if you don't know how to do research then old crypto projects is the best for you, with good research you can still find good new projects
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects can still deliver on: November 11, 2020, 06:27:29 AM
Well here is my own list of new projects that do wonders this year so far, few of the projects on OP list are old projects from 2018 era but did well today because of DeFi hype

1. Uniswap
2. Yearn. Finance
3. DIA
4. Polkadot
5. Avalanche ( AVAX)
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Tezos going to be next Ethereum? on: November 10, 2020, 06:36:32 AM
Tezos, Polkadot, Chainlink, if you don't have these altcoins in your portfolio then you don't know anything about promising altcoin projects, but ethereum? That's on another league entirely, I know ethereum deserves the four figure price tag today but aren't we underestimating this altcoin king? Ethereum can't be overthrown for many reasons, DYOR.
