181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PonziDOGE... this naugty shibe started a transparent ponzi game on: May 02, 2014, 12:15:16 AM
I think we'd all love to see those stats.

I am going to come up with something. Problem is the way it was coded originally each round has a different table. I will have to rewrite some code to self updating stats.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC Ponzi Game - Litecoin hot potator game for fun and profit! on: May 01, 2014, 09:17:31 PM
I think there's still a ton of interest in LTC ponzi.  But everyone is waiting to see what you do next and how everyone responds.

  • put ltc back to 120%
  • put cap back to 30
  • remove 200% at the end
  • put clock back to 24 hours
  • if less than 25 players within 8 hours
          * cancel game
          * pay confirmed players back via some insurance fund
          * restart game at next 24 hour mark
  • leave game alone.  even if it takes a few days to get going again.

Thanks for the advice and I am glad people are interested.
I can follow most of your suggestions except the:
-> Less then 25 players in 8 hours cancel game <-We would have to wait for 8 hours to start payouts... otherwise how can it be canceled  and refund people.

I would be glad to to get rid of 200% bonus as it is a liability for us.

Insurance fund is doable... but I have seen ponzies with insurance fund  that run out of players as well.

I am also open to selling the game + domain to someone who can run it / promote it better.

It requires alot of promotion and thick skin Smiley

BTW did you see http://btcpile.com

184  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BTC Pile - Same Old Game Different Name on: May 01, 2014, 01:21:07 PM
Looks promising, will test it  Grin

Rounds are starting to get bigger Smiley Will try some more advertising to see how to make it Huge.

The ratios seem proper so not too many people lose.

hows the doge ponzi doing?

Going strong! Are we listed on your website?

I list betting sites who show publicy total number of bets made. I cant find it on doge ponzi. if you do show that stat than i would add

Is there an industry standard for reporting/json feeds or something like that or just a stats page?

Hey DjPxH,

How about paying what you owe to your lenders on BTCJam before you go gambling? That would be great.

Thanks for the bump but please keep unrelated conflicts out of this thread. That would be great.

Yay.
And the last time I didnt play, you also were doing random start times, so its hard to conclude results when multiple variables are changing.
If I do play, I'll restrict myself to 1 deposit, you'll see it starts with DRatty.

Ok cool!
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PonziDOGE... this naugty shibe started a transparent ponzi game on: April 27, 2014, 10:56:23 PM
and he got paid....
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PonziDOGE... this naugty shibe started a transparent ponzi game on: April 27, 2014, 10:35:24 PM
I'm one of the big depositors that is fast and wins everytime, I'm going to not play this round to see if it helps create more winners.

You tried that already ... I actually think it made the game worse for a round.

As for your friend the balance now is 68535.60055541 if he wants he can probably send some DOGE to rescue his deposit before round end.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PonziDOGE... this naugty shibe started a transparent ponzi game on: April 27, 2014, 06:13:53 AM
Thanks for the explanation, I see where I went wrong now.

Smiley Its saturday... I apologize if I sounded harsh. Just was surprised you chose to calculate it like that Smiley
Anyway most likely your friend will get paid. There is 45K in balance and its needs 77K + 5% to go out.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PonziDOGE... this naugty shibe started a transparent ponzi game on: April 27, 2014, 03:39:08 AM
I'm wondering how the logic of this works.
A friend of mine is #14, and he's in for 70k, so a 77k payout.
If I add up all the deposits after him, it comes to 243381.03897516. Even if I take out 5% for the house's cut, that's still 231211.9870264020.
I know it's "systematic" but it still needs to make sense logically.

It does make sense logically, but only if you approach it logically Smiley

This is how to do the math:
All deposits - All payouts - 5% of all deposits = Current Remaining Balance (which is 45120.03897516 at the time)

Will next round start 30 minutes after this one again? Comment at the top of the page says that, but maybe that only applied to yesterday.

Yep it will start 30 minutes after end... I am thinking how to make it more clear!
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PonziDOGE... this naugty shibe started a transparent ponzi game on: April 26, 2014, 12:20:12 AM
Starts Now!
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC Ponzi Game - Litecoin hot potator game for fun and profit! on: April 25, 2014, 07:59:36 PM
err if my deposit shows up in the address but not on the players list have I lost my ltc?

And again we apologize for the inconvenience. We tried to improve the game with limits changing and that is what caused a bug. Luckily it is all verifiable by bloc chain so your deposit is safe in its original order and there is plenty of time to get paid.

No problem! Thanks for the response! Don't mind losing (it's a gamble) but not to a bug a in the system. My amount is up. Thanks again.

There is plenty of time to win. And we are also doing new advertising. With new limits more people will be winning!
