Random end time would certainly be more like a real ponzi. I don't know what impact it would have on the game though, if it turns people off then its obviously bad.

It would be nice to have some kind of time window for when the round will start so I'm not just mashing F5 all day.

It's really early to call it, but I agree on it feeling like that.
I thought it was a good idea, but now that I can see how it plays out, I'm not sure. We're all afraid to put anything in, since most of us missed the boat. I put in a tiny amount anyway, assuming I'll lose it, but I still won. Others are probably thinking the same thing. For those of you not wanting to play, just try a tiny amount, you might be surprised. If the goal is to reduce the volume, to discourage people putting in the max deposit, this might do that.

Going to keep the minimums the same for now.
The game will start 30 minutes after the end of this one... there will be a timer.

Will next round start 30 minutes after this one again? Comment at the top of the page says that, but maybe that only applied to yesterday.

Yep it will start 30 minutes after end... I am thinking how to make it more clear!

I'm wondering how the logic of this works. A friend of mine is #14, and he's in for 70k, so a 77k payout. If I add up all the deposits after him, it comes to 243381.03897516. Even if I take out 5% for the house's cut, that's still 231211.9870264020. I know it's "systematic" but it still needs to make sense logically.

It does make sense logically, but only if you approach it logically This is how to do the math: All deposits - All payouts - 5% of all deposits = Current Remaining Balance (which is 45120.03897516 at the time)

Its saturday... I apologize if I sounded harsh. Just was surprised you chose to calculate it like that Anyway most likely your friend will get paid. There is 45K in balance and its needs 77K + 5% to go out.

I'm one of the big depositors that is fast and wins everytime, I'm going to not play this round to see if it helps create more winners.

You tried that already ... I actually think it made the game worse for a round. As for your friend the balance now is 68535.60055541 if he wants he can probably send some DOGE to rescue his deposit before round end.
