lately i have a lot of problems with v2.1.2.0 and i cant sync it anymore, can someone point me to final wallet that runs fine?
The last available release is the 2.1.3.1 and it is working fine. It takes less time to open and it has more connection to other nodes.

You will need to download the full blockchain again or to use the Bootstrap file after the upgrade.

Here is the link: https://github.com/UdjinM6/Coin2.1/releases/tag/v2.1.3.1

UPDATE:

I have a sync issue today. My wallet 2.1.3.1 is not able to get a single connection.

If you have the same problem, please post here and we will investigate.

UPDATE 2:

Solved issue on my side.
I closed the wallet and I temporarily disabled AVAST antivirus. Then I launched the wallet again to get 8 connections a few minutes later.

v2.1.2.0 worked for me til 3.6.2016. Now 1 connection is shown, but never syncing (waited 24 hours). So I'm not able to transfer my coins to polo.

v2.1.3.1 running fine (synced using bootstrap, copied the wallet.dat file), but now I miss a lot of coins (more than 70k)

there must be a bug, my coins are shown in the top 100 (without some unconfirmed)

what to do ?

You shouldn't have touch wallet.dat at all, it's fully compatible, only block data is incompatible and should be rebuild on 2.1.2->2.1.3.1 migration.
Anyway, check if you have conflicted transactions and if you do use "-zapwallettxes" option to remove them.
If however you erased your wallet.dat from data folder and used some wallet.dat from your very old backup it's quite possible that you lost your coins forever (if you are not able to restore that erased wallet.dat somehow) because during staking wallet can use new addresses which might be missing in old backup file.

Hate to ask but could you possibly include a link to c2's main website from the block explorer, ive noticed on chat people saying that they cannot find any information on us due to the old thread and its links being defunct.

The Website link is :  http://www.coin2.us

[NINJA MODE] Also as a side bonus of sorts, found the files for Chain of Conflict Demo 17 laying around, they are linked here:

Windows:  http://coinstore.me/games/COCAlpha/COCAlpha_PC_v017.rar
Mac:  http://coinstore.me/games/COCAlpha/COCAlpha_v017.app.zip
Linux:  http://coinstore.me/games/COCAlpha/COCAlphaLinux_v017.tar
Browser: http://coinstore.me/games/CoC/

If any of the links are broken, inform myself or oldandgrey

Reverse split will reduce the number of coins and will keep the market up for a short time.
But the real challenge is to find some real world use cases.
40,215 Vendors in 182 Countries, is it a good real world use case ?

Ok, caught up over the last few days, good work everyone.

So C2 being included on CoinPayments could be a really good use for our C2 guys/girls.
We would be able to buy things with our C2 instead of waiting for future predicted uses. Includes
a payment gateway for new merchants to allow C2 payments on their webstore, access to 40,000+
vendors in 182 countries, more exposure for the coin(I find it rather weird that Coin2 is over 2 years
old now, yet people still haven't heard of us, time to change that.) Dolgiy, write me on fb, got some
discussing to go over with you since you offered to help, I finally came up with something for you to do,
if you really want to.

wallet needs updating badly though...such a buggy affair to use.
POS3 or POSP would be welcome too.
Developers said that now is preparing POS3! Look forward to)))

We are discussing it, switching to POS3 requires a swap of coins, as it involves moving to another blockchain. This could be good in the long run, though a real pain in the neck to actually do the swap part of it. Either way, the community here has as much of a say as us so called "developers", and this seems like a group decision, not a developer one.

How did blackcoin and other pos coins move to pos3 without a coin swap? are you sure this is essential?
Is pos3 actually better than POSP from cbx?

If a coin swap is required let's get an exchange to handle it will be easier that way.

I'm no programmer, lol.. just assumed thats what would have to be done if we were to switch. If a swap doesn't need to take place, then thats 100% better for everyone.

Ok, as rumor has come around again, it is true that there were many millions of Coin2 lost due to mintpal shutting down. It was addressed but never really dealt with as it was up to the users to get their coins back. I am not sure on the exact number of coins lost, I do know that it was close to half the supply that was frozen and held there at one point. I was asked to speak on this topic, and still not entirely sure how to go about it as there is no real way to find out the exact numbers on this unless a representative from mintpal happens to read this and come forward.

MiningSensei, good job with Cryptopia, I look forward to seeing what we can buy with our C2.

I have a busy week ahead of me, things to take care of outside of the internet, but lets hope for a good week.

Also this was sent to me by pm, figured I would post it here as Coin2 is more community driven now and not left entirely to the board members..

If anyone wants to get in contact with this guy for a translated OP in Greek, please pm him. I can't remember what the original bounties were for when C2 was first launched for translations but I'm sure 25k C2 should suffice considering the total amount vs actual amount of coins/market value.

I am sorry to say, but I dont really think that we need translation to Greek as it is so small language. I think that the only translations which would make sense are Russian and Chinese.

My 2 Coin2s.

Thanks for the vote on this, Chinese and Russian are translations that are needed. Also I have been discussing with DolgiyFCLM on the matters of future projects and where Coin2 is headed. Things seem to be going well so far, I will try to get back with more on this later, just keeping everyone informed.

I can not understand why there is a translation into Greek)))))
my enthusiasm expressed by the fact that I myself am a user coin C2, and I can see how easy to use it (the transaction fast, the minimum commission - cool)))
Yes, and the project is very promising in my opinion. No new products are expected? Trade only poloniex and bter?

and as you see, what are the prospects in coins?

As far as projects go for Coin2, my main project is still in development, Chain of Conflict, though as it has been said before, I am only One person.

We are open to new projects.

Coinstore is not only meant to be used as an Online Coin Storage/Wallet platform, but as a gaming hub for developers as well. There has been API setup to allow for developers to use the wallets in their games and allow for in game payments and payouts.

As far as gaming goes, Coin2's soul purpose was never meant to be gaming alone, it was started as a Community/Green Energy coin to show people there is a way into crypto without intensive mining hardware running 24/7. It evolved into gaming as per an idea of mine to Joel(Coin2's Original Creator) about maybe creating a facebook game to link it up to. After several ideas and many days later, the concept for chain of conflict was created.

To further Coin2 and speed up its economic growth we need to branch out and contact other programmers, or open the community up to fresh new ideas and bring in minds to tap. I've been toying with an idea in my mind myself, something I'm not to keen on sharing at the moment as it is a sensitive one and I don't want it stolen. It is along the lines of a new video streaming service that would cater to the needs of the many people's laziness. If you can help, and have the funding necessary to help make this idea come to light, please get in touch with me.

guys tell me how to sync purse android Huh 2 weeks have passed and all the blocks are at the level of June 2014

Not really trying to step on your toes man as I like your enthusiasm but I don't think you will get much help here
on the Android wallet unless UdjinM6 or one of the community members with a programming background in that area
feels like helping. The Android wallet is unsupported and it says this on the op.

"Android - Play Store *Use at your own Risk, unsupported now*"

I have pm'd Kalisto about this as the android wallet was his creation, but he no longer works with us like he used to, so whether he does anything to fix it or completely removes it will be left to his discretion.

As for people who have pm'd me I will get to those now, I am only checking once a week now as I don't have normal access to a computer at the moment.

Everyone in this community, Please pay attention to this guy.

KingArbinV (profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=294632) (Name: Brian Gaudinier)
He told me he is coin2 developer and coinstore owner(yes, he does)

I have paid (0.25BTC upfront) for him for helping me develop a wallet. But after he received my payment, he never send me the product. This person is very dishonest and fraud.

Everyone please be caution when deal wih this person.

Here is the 0.25 BTC he asked me to send to him.

https://blockchain.info/address/1JA4UXFaKxfLQ1hnunmtVsqrGmDE2FKvZ6

Here is our conversation screen shot.

Here is he confirmed that he received my payment

Ok as others have stated, that English is way too broken for you to have been talking to me. 2nd.. I don't do programming(this has been said several times), I mainly do maintenance and make sure the wallets are able to run. Lastly, 3rd.. Thats not even my skype account... lol, OldandGrey or Zyron either one, should have noticed or confirmedthis to begin with.

As far as your screenshots go, either photoshop'd or as Chad said my account needs its password changed...  April the 14th, 2016.. I was occupied with stuff thats been keeping me really busy and should keep me busy until August at least.

You are coming into this community because you think we look weak and are an easy scam target.. that we are not. Now on the odd chance you are not scamming, I suggest talking to UdjinM6 about working on a wallet for you.. if you had actually talked to me in the first place I would have told you to talk to him to begin with, him or Kalisto20022002, Udjin would be your better choice though..

Anyway glad to see everything has been going well in my absence. Something must be going right anyway, we have attracted the trolls and scammers out of the woodwork again.. lol

Keep up the good work everyone!

is it ok to run v2.1.0.0?

If anything until 2.1.3.1 is fixed, I would use 2.1.3.0, it opens quicker than previous versions and i think 2.1.0.0 had a problem with the debug log growing to gigantic file size

The thing about 3.0 is you have to redownload the entire blockchain or use the bootstrap with it to sync up. The bootstrap is most likely quicker, there should be instructions on how to use it, it can be downloaded from http://c2chain.info/bootstrap

DO you know if anyone is working on the client fix?

Yes someone is working on it, as for whats wrong with 2.1.3.1, that is the work-in-progress version, it is not accepting the blkindex.dat(from the previous 2.1.3.0 version), 2.1.3.1 is useable, but you have to resync from scratch.

UdjinM6 needs someone to sync 2.1.3.0(which had changes that actually required a total resync), and upload the blkindex.dat so he can analyze it. I would do this myself except my internet is really slow, comparable to dialup and it would take a few days to upload a file that size. I already have 2.1.3.0 sync'd and a blkindex.dat ready to go, but my internet issues are hindering me.

Anyway, if someone does this for us, I'll give a bounty of 20,000 C2.
Err... That's not what I meant. I meant let's see if someone else will have the same issue. 2.1.3.1 works comletely fine for me, so no, I'm not working on any fix.

kk, well for now lets see who has an issue with 2.1.3.1 then.. its giving blkindex.dat errors for me.

This one should work  Roll Eyes
If not - i'll try to fix it later, have to run now...

ok well i tested it, still the same issue with the blkindex.dat file, so will continue using 2.1.3 for now.

Can't reproduce it.. this should only happen when you move from 2.1.2 to 2.1.3+, not when you move from 2.1.3 to 2.1.3.1 because as I mentioned in 2.1.3 release notes:
Quote
Note: this release contains breaking changes to how block index is stored. You will HAVE TO resync blockchain from scratch either directly from network or by using bootstrap.dat (could take few hours). Make a copy of your current data folder in case if you decide to switch back.

It is happening though man, not trying to be a pain, but im using 2.1.3 at the moment and when I try to open 2.1.3.1 it tells me it has an error with the blkindex.dat file.

well.. I have no idea why then tbh - I launched 2.1.2, synced a bit, launched 2.1.3 - got error, deleted blkindex.dat and launched 2.1.3 again, synced a bit again, launched 2.1.3.1 and it went fine with no errors at all. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Could you upload your blkindex.dat somewhere (prev link is expired now)?

I'll attempt it, but could take forever for it to upload as it is like 682mb and my net is really slow lol
lol mine too. let's just wait and see if anyone else have this problem.

Alright sounds like an idea, i just hope they remember to make their backups before testing.

It is happening though man, not trying to be a pain, but im using 2.1.3 at the moment and when I try to open 2.1.3.1 it tells me it has an error with the blkindex.dat file.

This one should work  Roll Eyes
If not - i'll try to fix it later, have to run now...

I think I fixed connectivity issue, should have more than 1 connection again, give it a try
https://github.com/UdjinM6/Coin2.1/releases/tag/v2.1.3.1

having a slight issue with this version on windows man.

err... sec, I'll try to fix and recompile

Wait a sec on that, I got it to run by downloading and extracting the dll file to the folder, but you should actually seriously work on getting it to accept the blkindex.dat file that is currently there for the previous version... this could be a major turn off for all users having to redownload it each time there is an update.

Anyway for people wanting to download the blockchain again after installing for now, just download this and extract it to the folder with the 2.1.3.1 exe: http://download.dll-files.com/c81c2063954800835adc179294cea84f/libgcc_s_dw2-1.zip?0XHlXIcDlR

Please Note: This is just a suggestion, 2.1.3.0 still works just fine for now and can be used still until 2.1.3.1 is functioning properly.
