I don't understand you guys
There is NO, absolutely NO WAY multipool.minerals.pro can harm Minerals.
In order to dump Minerals after mining em with multipool one should buy minerals (indirectly, multipool will by em for you). Trade volume will increase, price might increase (might not, but surely it will not drop coz of multipool)

Looks like the multipool should become functional right after the end of PoW. People with GH power might get tons of minerals right now. Also I suppose trading fees are taken out of the available balance on conversion. So if you've mined X coins you get Y coins minus 0.15% trading and transaction fees
Multipool is functional right now. Just tested it This multipool will pump up prices for Minerals as it generates more demand. It doesn't mine Minerals dirctly, but mines darkcoin, sells it then buys minerals thus pumping up the price for minerals, not dumping it |

I would imagine that 0% fee means that Minerals dev doesn't profit on multipool. Doubt that he will pay any trading fees out of his pocket. It is hard to predict what fee should a multipool charge to cover up trading fees. It should be way below 1% so it doesn't really matter

Things wont change overnight, but the fact that Satoshi himself was anonymous doesn't mean that every dev needs to be anonymous. Especially when you look at recent developments with KingCoiny where the PR guy has pretty much put himself on show (same with Sony from pinkcoin) for the world to see.
I think a Dev should put themselves on show as well.
Why not? Directly (IPO) or indirectly (mining) they are taking peoples money.
I could set up a website tomorrow for the purpose of having DEV's put ID's online. Its simple enough. It will also slow down the number of coins being released because after 5 failed coin launches in 5 months people would just drop the Dev like a hot potato .
Sure we would all like to be anonymous in this world, hell I would! I don't want all my online funds to be taxed or taken as part of Child Support. The authorities would rather see me in the gutter than putting coins away for the future of my children.
But sometime we gotta fall inline, the long hair needs to be cut, the leather jacket put aside and the Harley swapped for a Maroon Citroen People Carrier for the sake of diplomacy and fairness. Youngsters on here probably don't get that analogy. Give it 20 years, you'll understand.
I refuse to have a roof rack and a 'princess on board' sticker tho. And that's what we need to maintain.
Striking the right balance between transparency and anonymity. Keeping everyone happy. Keep everything fair.
A few months from now I can see someone getting it right for everyone, this coin is a step in the right direction.
Im not talking about boredom. Dragging out coin launches with red tape and bullshit. Im talking about up front fairness and transparency.
We need to be careful because profit comes from risk, and without risk the profit will be zero. But so far, from my experience, profit for the new guys, the guys without huge farms or coding experience (exchanges/ wallets) and the straight guys is FUCKING ZERO.
The Scamming needs to be stopped and the release of new coins needs to be slowed.

I Can just shake my head when i Read the last few pages here, i cannot understand that people like being Controlled, throttled and manipulated in every possible way.
This concept is total bullshit, even Ripple is better.
Why almost all the negativity comes from owners of pools and not from simple miners? And why I have not seen your pathetic posts in ann with: IPO, ninja-launch, darkcoin-like reward curve, short pow period, closed sources, various promises that are not met and other manipulations? Yes, this type of distribution is a big field for possible scams, but while they are not. It's a rhetorical questions. I'm a miner, not only a pool owner. And as some of you might have noticed, I run my pools mostly at 0 % fee as a hobby, I'm not "into profits" as some of you posted. If this coin was NOT for profit, why not open the source for every miner (also solo miners) and limit the MH/s in the source ? Why this way ? Well wait, the "official pools" take 1 % fee... aaah i see.. well its probably NOT for profit, its for the sake and peace of mind .. I seee :-) If you're feeling comfortable with this coin - mine it - I don't, its a (big) scam - simple as that - remember my words.  |

I don't know if I want to dump my minerals when Bittrex lists the coin. I feel like it has bigger future. I was lucky enogh to buy some Minerals at ~320-330 sats and now I can hope for a nice profit when Mintpal lists Minerals  353 sats per MIN doesn't look much either, considering if I should dump some other coins and buy more while I still can.. |

I have no idea why people buy all the shitcoins that are listed on bittrex every day. Obviously I am not a professional trader and I may not see the big picture here, but all that I see is 99% coins has nothing new and die in few weeks. Lot of people wait to sell this one, and with one weeks of mining, big amount will dump. Hope i'm false. In theory with the 50MHS limit we should see dumping limited to 7 days of 50mhs coins per dumper. If we see absolutely no difference in the kinds of trading compared to other coins then we know for a fact that limiting this coin to 50MHS has had zero effect. Ill be watching closely. I don't see anyone snapping up a million coins on c-cex so that shouldn't have any influence. the problem with c-cex is that it is ~100 times smaller then bittrex. There are no serious investors there. Bittrex guys said that they will be listing Minerals after POW ends and this is where I am planning to return my investments |

In general i don't have issues with the way coins are selected at MP... Its been mostly working fine in terms of what jc12345 mentioned.
But recently, i have seen that MP is moving away from their own criteria in terms of coin selection. Because of this coins like Boost and others are not added on MP even with Hugh trade volume. While other coins are added to the exchange when its been clear from the start that they are being pushed to exchange only because they can be dumped by big whales when they hit MP.
+1 Its interesting how some coins hit MP very quickly while other 100% airdrop coins are ignored because of low value. MyCoin is an example, now Ive never mined MyCoin and I have zero MYC to my name, but Ive never know a coin push so hard to be on Mintpal and so far the plea of MYC has been ignored. MYC deserves to be on MP more than most at the moment. Would it hurt MP to list Mycoin? How difficult is it to add a coin to the exchange? About 5 minutes work Im guessing. I would be expecting it to be listed Monday, MP have no excuse now. Mintpal not listing coins huts themselves alot. Bittrex got few bitcoins of volume a month ago, but now its just 2 times smaller then Mintpal http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/markets/infoAnd I expect to see bittrex to be larger then Mintpal pretty soon |
