181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Neo will hit 200$ again? on: January 02, 2019, 06:43:57 PM
Many different coins including NEO have been touted as Ethereum replacements over last one to two years but nothing even comes close. NEO is a good project though.

NEO is a very good project that is supported greatly, however, I do not think that this year the altcoin can reach 2 hundred again. It can reach 50- dollars and even a bit more but 200 USD is not the real goal.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What choices will you take now ? on: January 02, 2019, 06:36:36 PM
Now I take only wise decisions and don't buy strange coins, so my decision is taking top 10 coins+ some low cap blockchains with strong team and ready product!

I trust more altcoins that are in the top-20 and some tokens, which take the first 100 positions. However, I have got also the favorites I trust more. These are Komodo, Cardano, TRO, NEM, Ethereum, NEO, and EOS.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding EOS? on: January 01, 2019, 07:28:17 PM
I personally hold my EOS, as well as many other promising coins. I hope some of them grow well

Yes, I am also holding EOS as soon as I understand that this altcoin is going to gain in the nearest two or even three months. I Suppose, EOS can gain a lot, even more than the other tokens can do it.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any chance market bounce back to where it was on: January 01, 2019, 07:24:45 PM
we all hope very much for it but time goes on and it seems that it may never happen again

It may happen or it may not - everything is so unpredictable that it is too silly to make any prognoses. However, the best decision, for now, is to hold the cryptocurrencies not to lose again anything.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All you can do is hold your ALTs for a few years on: January 01, 2019, 07:21:36 PM
Holding altcoins for years is the worst decision if you do not yet know which of the currencies you want to hold. I guess, the best choice that you can do is pick holding and day-trading as well.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have to invest in bitcoin or ethereum. on: January 01, 2019, 07:14:24 PM
I see that BTC and ETH are two coins that have the highest capitalization in Coinmarketcap.
But I don't know why Bitcoin is still up and ETH always maintains current prices.
Why did that happen? And now, I have to invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum?
thank you
It would be difficult for me to make a choice between these two coins because I consider them both good for investment. Under the conditions that are now on the market if there is money, you can take both coins. They will remain leaders, even if someday on capitalization will lose their seats. I think so.
just like you, i also had a little difficulty choosing between the two coins. if i have a lot of money, i will have both coins. we know the two coins have a very good future, and the two coins will live for a long time.

but, for now i only invest in ethereum.

My choice is Bitcoin. Even if you do not have a lot of money, you can invest in it just a little. Then, with time, you can buy more cryptocurrency. BTC is the market ruler and the leader. I bet on it.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: does ethereum end? on: January 01, 2019, 07:11:16 PM
Ethereum really surprised everyone with the bottom he reached this year, but it seems to me that very soon he will start growing!

Ethereum will do it for sure. Suppose, it will be not an event that will happen soon - we will wait for it a bit longer than we expected. I suppose, close to the middle of 2019, ETH will grow in price sufficiently.
188  Economy / Economics / Re: Fire in the market: Bitcoin is below $4000 on: December 28, 2018, 11:50:50 AM
good news, right now bitcoin has touched the price of $ 4000 and continues to grow.
as well as ETH, I think this growth is the beginning of the market recovery.

Bitcoin price has been balancing between 3,500 and 4,200 for a very long time. Even the best crypto specialists cannot tell us if BTC can go up or if it falls again. all we can do right now is to wait and hold this crypto.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it bad for altcoin that BTC is dropping on: December 28, 2018, 11:48:18 AM
Definitely bad! BTC is dropping, so all of of altcoins drop as well!
This dependance on bitcoin price won't last for a long time and one day I will create diversify portfolio!

Sometimes certain, mostly, cheap altcoins go up, when Bitcoin is falling. However, as a rule, tokens follow the market leader, BTC. When it is down, all the rest cryptocurrencies lose in price as well.
190  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is rocking are we nearing to the bull run? on: December 28, 2018, 11:28:58 AM
Yes, hopefully these happy days have lasted a long time, not just for a moment, after a few months ago all of the anthusiast crypto experienced a difficult time, now when the crypto anthusiast is getting back profits.

Although I share these hopes with you, I doubt very much that the bull run can come VERY soon. Yes, the cryptocurrencies will gain but a bit later. Probably, it is better to invest in altcoins now - they are still cheap.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethreum bounce back ? on: December 28, 2018, 11:26:44 AM
Crypto is indeed very difficult to predict because there are many investors coming out and entering. Ethereum this price always grows to follow Bitcoin and you can continue to monitor its progress. At present Ethereum is red and I'm sure if Ethereum will get back up soon.

Ethereum will definitely get out of the dip he fell in before. I have invested again in the altcoin this December, and as I think, it was the right decision. This cryptocurrency can become a very good gainer.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should invest on ripple or litecoin ? on: December 28, 2018, 11:24:26 AM
if I myself would definitely choose Litecoin, because this coin has a high potential such as ethereum which often experiences rapid price increases, so I will definitely choose Litecoin for my investment place

First of all, I would ask the guy about the choice. Why does he want to choose only one of these currencies? He can invest in both of them or pay attention to more profitable tokens. As for these two, XRP can grow faster.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think that Bitcoincash will replace Bitcoin on: December 27, 2018, 03:00:39 PM
It is not possible, because bitcoin cash is in the fifth place already. But we will see about that, because their development for both coins are still up to day and updating. We will see major changes on the future.

This topic was discussed when Bitcoin Cash appeared. I suppose many guys from this Forum remember how fast the altcoin was growing. Nevertheless, even that time all smart men understood that BTC cannot be replaced.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you buy not top 100 alts? on: December 27, 2018, 02:57:52 PM
Non-top 100 coins are good for trading, but for a long-term investment I choose coins from the top 10.

I mostly work with the top-20 cryptocurrencies and invest in these alts to hold them for long. Yes, I tried dealing with cheaper tokens, and it even brought me a nice profit some time ago.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH so popular on: December 27, 2018, 02:55:19 PM
Ethereum is very popular due to the large number of projects released in its Blockchain. All of them depend on Ethereum and increase its popularity. It could not be otherwise.

Yes, that's true. Additionally, the charismatic Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, appears on public very often. It lets all people be sure that the project lives. They trust ETH and invest in it.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will replace ethereum on: December 26, 2018, 06:16:00 PM
It seems to me weird that some people could even think about it. How can Waves replace Ethereum? It is simply impossible! Even if we speak about the places in the crypto rating, ETH will be always ahead.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market has recovered? on: December 26, 2018, 06:13:24 PM
Currently the market is green, sometimes red. Maybe this time the market is said to be a bull run. In my opinion, this time the market is recovering.
in my opinion the market has not recovered, this is only in the process of recovery because the market is still very unstable and the price is still very far compared to the price we want.
My prediction the market will really recover next year.

I am very glad that finally, this recovery process has started. At least it looks like most of the top-100 cryptocurrencies are ready for the bull run. Suppose, we will hear more good news this winter.
198  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: December 26, 2018, 06:10:59 PM
I decided to quit ICO's. From December till now I invested about 5 eth into several ICO's. Invest what you can miss, this is what was able to miss.

Right now the first few of my ICO's have reached the exchanges. Most are under performing, but this is related to the overall dip (can be read everywhere). I understand, but ICO token economics have changed also.

  • massive hardcaps
  • most is sold in pre-sale to big investors, leaving scraps for crowdsale
  • much attention to marketing, less to working product or realistic time lines
  • immediately available on EtherDelta and IDEX, sure sign of little interest in token economics/future
  • no lock on pre-sale tokens, whales take their x2, x3 or x-whatever as soon as possible (I would probably have done the same). Prices drop to below ICO price.
  • too many ICO's without distinctive differences.
  • too many ICO's in general
  • too much tokens reserved for team/marketing
  • many ICO's don't even have a crowdsale anymore (which perhaps is a good thing as the little investors are protected this way)
  • ICO prizes are quite high. 1eth = 1000/4000 tokens is pretty common, but with a hc of 40 million, this will not easily go x10 or more.

I was 'unlucky' to miss out on a few ICO's besides the ones I was able to participate in. Afterwards I am glad, since I was able to pick most up at a fraction of the ICO price.

Important as ever: DYOR as not all ICO's have a genuine solution to a genuine problem. Some may seem like a fantastic solution, but often it is marketing combined with a strong team, and not so much a great working product.

And who am I? I am definitely a nobody Tongue, but still wanted to share my experiences and perhaps save people from thinking of getting on board of the next x100 ICO Smiley

p.s. when a Telegram has over 20k subscribers all screaming 'when lambo' with endless rows of animated gifs, you may also wonder if this is a serious block chain solution which will revolutionize 'x' Smiley

Well, I am just a beginner here and my knowledge were not still enough to go further than being involve and joing ICO'S. I am very grateful for joing signiture campaigns since it helped me at some point of financial assistance and up to now I am still working for making some posts so for the upcoming year I can have a better amoun of profit with exchange to the hardwork I am giving.

Good for you. However, you used to deal with the signature campaigns, and as I understood, you did not invest anything in the ICO. Today, many projects fail, and the investor can lose his money. Thus, I also stay away from ICOs.
199  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: December 25, 2018, 08:11:26 PM
Until now, I think crypto will not be able to replace Fiat. because fiat is very identical with the country. so even though crypto continues, fiat will not be replaced.

Yes, man, real life differs a lot from the fantasies of some people, crypto fans. The cryptocurrencies will not replace the money we use. Virtual money is OK only when you have an Internet connection.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or EOS? which coin will survive? on: December 25, 2018, 08:03:41 PM
EOS is more a marketing and failure project. imho

EOS is very young, and it is to early to come to any conclusions. If the team continue working at the project as hard as it used to do before, the token will continue its growth. Meanwhile, I trust ETH more.
