181  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: The causes of hunger in Nigeria on: March 20, 2024, 10:48:39 PM
It's so unfortunate to see that a common man cannot longer afford food to eat in Nigeria, a country that is well known for agriculture and high level of cultural heritage. I think the root causes suffering, food insecurity and unsustainable development include: poverty, corruption, incompetent leadership, regional insecurity, tribalism, region differences, national policies that do not promote equal access to food for all, environmental degradation, barriers to trade, insufficient agricultural development, population growth, low levels of education, social and economic instability.

Well, you dey talk true but hope still dey for us and e go need plenty effort from us to the government and for us to achieve am na say we go need to contribute in agriculture, which means say we go dey support farmers in a way we fit do like we fit dey provide hoes, cutlass etc while make the government provide with new facilities to make the work easier for them sha and also dey teach people how dem go dey manage how dem go dey eat food because no be everybody sabi dat one, dem go just dey eat anyhow, even wen belle don full dem yet, dem no fit say no wen dey see food, de thing go come dey make dem dey throw food because of say dem don over bellefull which is not right, so helping them by telling them how dem go dey manage things and to eat responsibly go also reduce waste of food especially as the country be so.
182  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Can someone with a monthly salary of 200k keep a small family in this economy? on: March 20, 2024, 08:57:08 PM
Let's be honest, a 200k monthly salary is not a small money, anyone earning such is even more than an average earner so I say it will be enough to handle family expenses for a month and still have savings. Once we have a family we carter for and a prominent source of income the first thing we should understand is knowing how to manage the home, involving how to spend money, it's necessary to stop every lavish lifestyle unlike not having a family yet.
I couldn't agree more with you on this, you've really made a very notable point on financial literacy and responsible spending when one has a family. Of a a true, 200k might appear to be a lot of money and it can really go a long way, but it's also very important to be mindful of how the money is being spent. In the hands of a reckless spender, 200k is nothing but just a change that wouldn't even last up to a day in their hands, they have the habit of spending more than they're supposed to, just to fund their luxurious lifestyle and before it's even half of the week, the money is all gone and they'll start borrowing and when the next salary comes, they use it to settle the loans they collected.
183  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: The root of insecurity in Nigeria on: March 19, 2024, 06:22:05 PM
Sometimes I wonder why Nigeria is facing high rates of insecurity and crime. The root of the high level of insecurity in a blessed country like Nigeria can be argued that indices such as corruption, hatred, lack of faith among the citizen, incompetent leadership, bribering, illiteracy, tribalism, religion interest, regional interest, porose nature of our boarder, divers local languages, government poor policies, high rates of unemployment and poverty are factors that promote incidences of insecurity and crime in Nigeria.

Too many wahala plenty for Naija, e come be like say di main things wey go fit help di issue na education, economic opportunities and truth. E get how many young people for Naija wey no get work. If dem no get work and no money, dem fit do bad things. For education, if we fit make everybody for Naija get di same education, dem fit get better understanding about politics and e fit make dem want better life. And if government get program wey go help pipo get work and money, na dat kind economic programs like that go make person no go want do bad things to get money. And if education reach di young person, them fit dey make good decisions for their life.
184  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: How to manage yourself during this hard times on: March 19, 2024, 04:53:01 PM
Well, I dey manage myself by chopping small small even now self I no know wetin be my favorite food because I dey chop anything wey I see, any eatable I don chop, as far say na food wey dey enter inside mouth, I don chop. Oyibo say cut your cloth according to your size, so na wetin I dey do now, as everything don cost like this now, I no dey get greed eye again make I also see who go follow help me in terms if things dey too hard for me, another na sleep because for me the way this country be now, everything don turn upside down, person need to relax e mind and brain if not person fit die
185  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Why is our personal safety not taken seriously on: March 19, 2024, 04:36:47 PM
I know for us here, our account security is at the top of our mind and we don't play when it comes to it at all but when it comes to matters of personal safety, we become negligent at it and wouldn't want to adhere to major safety guidelines and regulations.

You visit major filling stations and find empty and expired fire extinguishers with zero safety personnel on the ground to put out fire in case of  emergency. Most of us don't even use seat belt and only wear it at check point after which we take it out because of the discomfort we associate with wearing it and when accidents occur, it becomes difficult to see someone survive it.

Maybe you should occasionally look at our rural marine travellers and see the level of carelessness from most of them when it comes to putting on life jacket and whenever they experience boat mishaps, it's always a fertile situation i wouldn't want to imagin.

Although this is a bad habit that has eaten deep into our blood stream, our personal safety is as important as our account security and everyone should never compromise it. Let's always remember that the safer our environment is, the better it is for us and those around us.

Personal safety ought to be top of mind for everyone, and it's unfortunate that some people are more worried with their bank accounts than their own personal well-being. In addition, we may take basic steps in our own lives to encourage safety. We can take needed safety precautions such as using a seat belt while driving, using a helmet for protection when riding, and avoiding distracted driving. It may appear to be a little issue, but if everyone made these small adjustments, we may have an important effect on safety in general. As you noted, the same is true for account security; simple steps such as adopting reliable passwords and using two-factor authentication can make an important difference in keeping our accounts protected.

186  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nigeria leaders and corruption on: March 19, 2024, 04:19:19 PM
The level of corruption in the executive and legislative arm of Nigeria government is amazing and shameful. The padding of 2024 budget with the sum of 3.7 trillion naira is something I cannot imagine considering the nature of Nigeria economy now, hardship and younger across the country. Nigeria leaders have demonstrated the highest level of corruption and this action shows that they don't the interest of the country at heart if not they would consider what the masses are going through now in the country.
Sometime I wonder if Nigeria leaders have conscience and human sympathy. How on earth would a government that is obligated to protect lives and properties of her citizens would  proposed to loot 3.7 trillion naira in a country that is at the verge of collapse, a country that 80% of her citizens are leaving in adject poverty with severe hungers.

I am convinced there remains a lot of room for change through local organizations and civic organizations. This could include community-centered groups that advocate, social media campaigns, and even comes together and protests. There are numerous examples of effective movements that have brought about change by beginning small and expanding over time. For example, in Nigeria, the #EndSARS movement, which began on social media by a group of young people, grew into widespread rallies against brutality by law enforcement. And we can use our opinions to ask for change and make our leaders accountable to greater standards.
187  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Democracy or Oligarchy? on: March 19, 2024, 03:57:30 PM
In fact I'm always restless whenever there is elections in my country. The final results are different from what the electorate decided at the various polling units. Elections are features of democracy which enhance representative government in the modern society.
But recent developments have shown how elections litigations have made the elections Tribunals and Superior Courts of Records to determine the elections results and the Winner of the contestations. The trial Judges are less than five by law.
Therefore, on the basis of this eventuality, elections outcomes have now become a contest between the electorate and the judges. So, is it still democracy or Oligarchy in the first place?
I would really want the public in this forum to provide a final digest of this serious matter. Thanks.

Electoral fraud and manipulation are severe issues that compromise the credibility of elections and contribute to political unrest and distrust. In addition I believe that voter knowledge and understanding is the most important topic to keep in mind. People must be well-informed on the topics at risk in voting, as well as appreciate the value of their vote and its role in developing their country's destiny. The number of voters is frequently low, particularly among young people, which can lead to outcomes that fail to reflect the genuine will of the people. Increased voter participation through dissemination of knowledge can assist ensure that elections are really indicative of the people's wishes.
188  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Flood the natural disaster on: March 19, 2024, 03:07:37 PM
Flooding is for sure a natural disaster and as well as loss of life and damage to property
it also ruins peoples way of making a living particularly farming.

Its the flash floods after a long dry spell which can cause a lot of damage, the ground
can be baked hard before heavy rain and the water cannot soak but flow instead.

Climate change is the cause as we are told but as we have seen governments are slow to act.

Yes, they are too slow but they can also help by taking various initiatives to help minimize the impacts of flooding, in the immediate and distant futures. For example, they can improve flood predicting and alert systems, giving people enough time to escape if necessary. They may also put money in facilities, such as flood protection and channels for drainage, to keep towns safe from flooding. In the long run, governments can try to minimize emissions of carbon dioxide that contribute to climate change. They can also help farmers with things like agricultural insurance and disaster assistance. All of these methods can assist to strengthen local resistance to flooding and protect the livelihoods of individuals.
189  Economy / Economics / Re: Fix the money, Fix the world. on: March 19, 2024, 02:53:57 PM
The Rich/Government has used money as a tool to oppress the poor in a way that they practically use it to control everything in the world with the help of financial institutions.

The high class as they are called has maintained dominance in everything, not to be bitcoin biased or cynical, but in this case, I see Bitcoin as the alternative to this controversy and if we want to eliminate the power that is intoxicating us, then we must advocate for alternative means, Bitcoin as a currency without any central control will handle this menace in a manner that everybody will have power, control and self custody of their bitcoin, the market forces will now depend on more individual investments in it and group or institutional adoption, just imagine making Bitcoin handy and accessible to the populace.

I think the world will be a better place without notice or segregation between the rich and the poor if Bitcoin is embraced fully since Bitcoin is not a currency of a particular country everyone has the equal right and power to either store it or use it.

This is an amazing perspective view. It is true that money may be used to enslave people, but it is enticing that technology has the capacity to change the way we think about power, wealth, and authority. One of the most fascinating parts of Bitcoin is the concept of independence, or operating your own bank. Bitcoin allows you to keep your own private information and handle your own funds, without depending on other people such as banks or authorities. This could result in a more equal and transparent banking system, giving individuals more power over their personal resources.

190  Economy / Economics / Re: Our decision making is responsible for the outcomes in our ways on: March 19, 2024, 02:40:06 PM
While others have learnt their lessions of not utilizing their incomes when they had a stable source for their income flows, some others are paying adamants and ignorant to learn from what has happened to others because they feels they are not of the same calling to be affected with what happened to others.

In life some persons just do what pleases them and doesn't tolerate with any piece of advice from anyone at the times they feels to had acquired the heavens on earth. And yet they are not Concious that as the more they grows their incomes for multiplications is also how it could depreciate to a zero value if not utilize productively for continues growth.

A friend of mine goes wild at me whenever I talk to him about his reckless spendings, he ask me what would be  accounted of his money if not enjoyments?
This is a kind of guy that feels relaxed when he has an attractive amount of money in his bank account and then feels he is only supposed to go after making more money only when he is running out from the one already accumulated and spent.

How on earth would someone give chasing after income holidays even when you do not have more than enough and not up to the age of retirement yet?

And after squandering all that he has saved he goes about requesting to borrow money.
I have talked to this guy on several occasions but he feels I am a pest disturbing his dear life.
As at this moment, the country is encountering very high rate of inflation which stuffs doesn't go fair as before  leading him sold his car and being struggling to pay his bills while living in the city and at now, he does not have a place of residence of his own so he jumps from one place to the other passing his night's.

He is now the pest perching on any available places conditionally while inconveniencing others.
He now lives a low key with the best he can afford.
"Had I know" is now a national anthem to him.
I don't find his ignorance to be an excuse and I am thinking of disassociating from him before he gets me  affected with his negative possesed energies.

Well, you are accurate, and we ought to consider that your acquaintance may be experiencing sadness or stress. Financial pressure may have a significant impact on mental health, and it can be difficult to identify when it happens to you. In that instance, the greatest thing you can do for your friend is encourage them to consult a mental health expert. They may not be ready to hear it right now, but they have the option if they decide they are. In addition, you can take care of yourself by ensuring that you have the proper support of friends and family members, and participating in self-care activities such as getting enough sleep, a good diet.
191  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything is over priced but people keep spending on: March 19, 2024, 02:13:10 PM
The cost of things has gone up so much so that it's glaring. Imagine paying 5-12$ for an average meal you could get before for 3$. The jump cost is extremely high. Cooking a meal at home can cost you the same amount you would spend on eating in a restaurant. Funny enough people still afford all these things without complaining. My anger is that we make money to spend it all into our normal life expenses. It's difficult now to save or invest unless you part of the rich people in society. An average man has to just eat, pay bills, and survive.

Of obviously, individuals will spend; just because something is expensive does not imply that people will not buy or sell; people will need to eat in order to survive; even if everything is expensive, as long as people are working to make a living, they will have to spend. Another option is to establish a universal basic income (UBI). Under this arrangement, every citizen, irrespective of income or work position, would be given an everyday government payout. The concept is to provide people with just the right amount of monetary safety, allowing them to meet their fundamental necessities while still having a greater capacity for achieving their aspirations. Some claim that UBI would be a better and more efficient solution for fighting inequality and impoverishment.
192  Economy / Economics / Re: The Prices of Labour. on: March 19, 2024, 01:50:50 PM
Forthnight ago, I sat down under a mango tree whose blossoming flowers are promising to humanity and birds. It gave a complete relaxation to me which enhanced a moment of reflections over events and nature around.
Barely an hour, two birds most probably male and female arrived to have their launch on the nectar of the flowers. Their arrival was heralded with a peculiar song that seemed esoteric, but it's lyrics was a lullaby to me.
Suddenly, there appeared in the scene a dramatic event. Three men were pushing an unkempt brand old Passat car towards me to be kept under the mango tree. It broke down complete while it was on it's way to the city. It is a property of a university Professor of Political science. In fact, the Professor was among the three men who were pushing the car.
Then, my reflection moved to the circumstances around the Professor. How much is the monthly salary of a Professor and other related allowances as are accrued to them in the midst of plenty. In fact, there monthly take home is meagre and is better imagined than experienced.
Is there Prices determined by the market mechanisms of demand and supply or by an authocratic Fiat of the government, thus what must be done to effect justice on this serious matter.
I would want the public in this forum to contribute.

However, there are certain possible issues with the driven by markets approach. A possible drawback is that it might lead to poverty, as people with popular skills or degree may be able to fetch greater incomes, but those with less useful abilities might be unable to find employment that pays well. Another challenge is that the market is mainly self-monitoring making it challenging for authorities to act to solve concerns such as hunger or injustice. Some opponents believe that this approach promotes an inappropriate preference for profits over people and the environment. Earnings may vary as well in response to economic situations and other variables such as technological advancements or worldwide occurrences.
193  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: The need to acquire an asset now on: March 18, 2024, 06:50:05 PM
Many people wishes to get an asset when they start making it in life but as soon as such opportunity comes up they begin to live frivolous lifestyle and saying that they are still young as they can still meet up their target anytime without knowing that time flies and an opportunity that one may miss in life can take longer time to get again.

It is very good for us to know that the clock is ticking and as it's ticking that's how we are ageing as well, we should make judicious use of any opportunity we have to acquire an asset that would stand for a long time and even help us achieve our dreams, don't feel that you are too young for anything as we are in a digitized world now as everything is going digital that how things are changing so we may not really achieve things on a platter of Gold as you previously did, so it is important we plan now that we are sound and healthy and have no much responsibility yet rather than waiting at a time that every thing would become compounded such that we may not even have time for ourselves anymore.

The time is now to start thinking about the future and stop living extravagant lifestyles trying to impress people who wouldn't even know how you are doing when you peradventurely fall.

However, it's true that having more money does not always better your life; in fact, it can sometimes make things worse. That's because once you've met your essential necessities, any extra money can cause complications. For example, you may feel pressured to live a specific way of life or keep up with the way you live. You may also begin to lose contact with what actually matters to you, such as relatives and close friends. In reality, science has proven that after some point, greater wealth does not equal more happiness. It's all about establishing a proper equilibrium between earning funds and enjoying an enjoyable existence.
194  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: The bad habit of business in Nigeria on: March 18, 2024, 06:40:08 PM
Some of us has been blaming people selling at market because of the rates price of things is going high every single day, yes that is true because I have found out that most of the people that is selling in our country take advantage of the rate of dollar even when they are selling. They increase the price as long as they have heard that Dollar has gone up, they also increase the price of what they are selling like the people producing Garri. This is a very popular food in Nigeria that we produce here and order varieties of food that I may not mention. they always take advantage of the price of dollar as long as Doller has gone up.And also increase the price of what they sell, even when it is been produced in Nigeria I don’t see the reason why food like plantain yan ETC, we all know that we have a lot of food that is been produced in Nigeria and Doller has affected it a lot. Are you telling me that is because of the price of transportation? that is not true because the price has technically increased from the villages that we buy this food from, which is totally wrong please I am really worried on how business owners treat us in our country, if Doller has really gone up what is the next option? is to find a way to produce whatever we are shipping from overseas here in our country and the cost will be reduced so many people can’t afford it because I am thinking that the rate of dollar affect the import and  exporter, they no  longer capable to import, because after selling the product, they already have, and convert to dollar they find out that it has no value, even when they have really make profit from what they have sold already. The option is producing in our country to make things cheaper but our citizen are very stubborn. If you want to make the country better, the only option is to crash the country currency so that the citizen will not be able to import and will focus on what we can produce. This is the strategy I have found out that our government is using but many people don’t really know.
I will be so glad if we can talk about this maybe I am wrong, right.

It's also important to understand unpredictable implications of reducing a country's currency. One concern is that it may lead to price increases as the cost of imported products rises. This may harm individuals who rely on imported products such as medicine or other basic necessities. Another issue is that it may result in the movement of capital, as both investors and companies seek stronger currencies outside of the country. They might also help enterprises move into domestic manufacturing, though as you noted, this can be tough if people are unwilling to change. It's a complex problem, and then may be no quick fix.
195  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Can't we stand up to defend our right? on: March 18, 2024, 06:29:00 PM
Absolutely, safeguarding our rights is of the utmost importance in instances like this. People have the right to privacy, and it is extremely important to exercise that right when necessary. One method to defend this freedom is to speak out against unfair rules and regulations and push for changes. This could include writing messages to lawmakers, attending rallies, or taking other steps to make your voice heard. However, it is essential that we understand our rights and are capable of explaining why they are necessary. This can help us defend our rights more successfully while also encouraging others of their value.
196  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mental healthcare as state policy ? on: March 18, 2024, 06:12:53 PM
Hello, and I hope all of you are having a comfortable Saturday.
As usual, I have keep an eye on many news from the United States and from western countries in general and some ideas have crossed my mind about the way the states are supposed to act in order to help people to improve the quality of life. I will summarize my ideas in a single question.

Is the state/public administration of a country to be responsible of the mental health of their citizens?

I have seen several times people in the United States, who belong to the Republican party, blame violence and gun violence on mental illness of perpetrators and yet, it seems that the USA does not make any important effort to make medication and mental health professionals within the reach of anyone who needs it.
In other countries like mine, the access is guaranteed, but the quality of such assistance is very lacklustre.

Would you agree on the idea mental healthcare to be universal and free for anyone who needs it in your country? Do you believe it would help to decrease violence and increase quality of life of people in general?

Source of picture: https://www.everydayhealth.com/emotional-health/do-antidepressants-improve-quality-of-life/

A major difficulty here is ensuring that any system put in place truly works and offers excellent medical care. There are numerous elements that contribute to this, including the education and skills of mental health practitioners, the accessibility of services in various places, and ethnic and social perceptions regarding mental health. If a poorly designed system is carried out, it may cause more damage than good. So we should also be helpful by paying our taxes so that it might be used to offer or create better health centers, as well as provide nice facilities so that it would be easy for people who have no way to pay hospital fees and... those who do not have someone to assist them, exactly as some other countries finance their medical care systems. It can be done at the local or state level as well.
197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: March 18, 2024, 05:43:14 PM
[edited out]
However in terms of short-term investment I agree with you that most people normally get confused or couldn't distinguish between short-term and long term investment because one of the things I realized is that most people or rather investors feels that holding Bitcoin for six or seven months is a long term holding without knowing that they are only doing there normally trading because like you said a long term holding could be refer as holding Bitcoin for ten or more than ten years.

Yeah, sometimes we might be confusing the definitions, and it seems that bitcoin has a bit of a pattern that justifies the consideration of the 4-year cycle, even if the cycle may well end up getting broken at some point... however, if we already have a pattern of a 4 -year cycle, then, it is likely helpful to at least attempt to recognize that such pattern has so far tended to play around the timeline of the halvening.

It's true that bitcoin has a certain degree of cyclicality, and much of that appears to be related to the halving. The fact that the reward for mining bitcoin gets cut in half every four years has a big impact on the market. Some say that the so-called "halving cycle" is responsible for some of the most extreme bull and bear markets.
Although the halving appears to be the most significant element responsible for some of the largest bull and bear markets, But there are still a few other factors that may influence the bitcoin price cycle.

For example, there's the idea of the "stock-to-flow" ratio, which is a measure of how scarce bitcoin is relative to how much is in circulation. This ratio tends to increase after the halving, which can have an impact on price. There's also the "bull market top" indicator, which is based on the idea that the price of bitcoin tends to peak about a year after the halving. These are just a few examples of other theories that try to explain the bitcoin price cycle.

[edited out]..Now if you are mixing your actions by buying and selling (in other words trading) then that is another story, but if you are strictly buying, then you have a dynamic that either your holdings are continuously going into less and less profits (in a bear market) or you have the dynamics that your holdings are increasingly in profits (in a bull market).
I highlighted a paragraph out, I've not been mixing strategies, I've been buying but I always thought we have been in the bear Market and I have also expressed myself in terms if us beign in the bear market but right now I feel my perspective of what a bear market or bull market is shattered, so I think it would be fair if I could explain more about it.

I already explained and probably overly explained, and so you need to think in longer timelines.  In essence, we have been in a bull market since November 2022, and I give little shits about what others say about the various corrections along the way.  The market does not change back and forth.

on the other hand, we could fairly assess that we might not have had realized that we were in a bull market until either mid-2023 or even as late as October 2023, but surely at some point, we would have or should have realized that we were in a bull market rather than a bear market since November 2022.

Bull market is that the price is generally trending up (even if there may well be short or long periods of corrections in between).

In other words, you cannot be flipping back and forth, and clearly even if we were in a correction in December 2023.. who gives any shits.. we were still obviously already in a bull market, even if there was a correction.

People frequently get confused by the short-term and/or overly obsess about the short term.. and especially if you already stated that you are planning to invest for a whole cycle, then there seems to be almost no reason to be getting worked up about various short term moves.

Of course, any of us still wants to try to minimize his cost per BTC, but there is ONLY so much that we are able to do about those kinds of things, especially if we are new to bitcoin and still building our stash...

As I already mentioned, if you have been buying since December (or even in the past 16 months) the value of your holdings are generally in profits, and I am not even proclaiming that you are not faced with any dilemma, since when BTC is in this kind of bull market, there may well be a lot of advantages to front loading and investing as much as possible earlier rather than stringing out purchases, but at the same time, if you are new to bitcoin (and/or investing), you may well not have much if any choice based on how much (or the lack) that you have in your own finances to be able to dedicate to BTC purchases.

In other words, there are some advantages, towards buying when the BTC price is going down rather than when it is going up.. but you cannot really affect those kinds of situations
.  You have to play with the cards that you have, and figure out what you are going to do and how you are going to deal with the current dynamics as well as future dynamics that are not really known very well until after they happen.

Of course like I already mentioned on my previous post there is an advantage of buying when the Bitcoin price is lower but we shouldn't draw all our focus or target on buying Bitcoin only when the price is going down because the probability of Bitcoin dipping the way they expected may not be certain, however if they most go for dip it will surely depend on there investment portfolio if they wish to still utilize the opportunity if Bitcoin is going down, perhaps they could channel some of there funds on Lump sum while they continue investing on the normal price of the Bitcoin.
One of the worse mistakes most Bitcoin investors make is trying to time the market, rather than going ahead to buy, they decide to wait for when they believe to be the right time, which is when the price of Bitcoin drops, then they go ahead to buy. This is an approach for novice investors. Honestly, when I first began my Bitcoin journey, the idea and approach I began with was to wait for the price of Bitcoin to drop to a certain level then I go ahead to buy and wait for the price to go up again so I can take out my profits and then wait for another dip which I saw as an opportunity to invest.
But along the line, when I learned about DCA approach, I realized at that point that I wasn't really investing in Bitcoin, but Gambling with my money all these while, because I was chasing after the short-term gain that Bitcoin has to offer which was/is in no sense compared to the long-term benefits associated with Bitcoin investment.
And ever since I started using the DCA technique, I've not only observed that it's a more better and safer approach but I also noticed that DCA has helped to eliminate the mental stress associated with trading and now my investment isn't affected by sudden market fluctuations.

You are absolutely correct; six or seven months is still considered short-term when it comes to Bitcoin investing. Many individuals believe that holding Bitcoin for a few months is a long-term investment, however this is not the case. Due to the volatility of the cryptocurrency market, even a year or two can be considered short-term. However, if you hold Bitcoin for a decade or more, you will be able to weather the market's ups and downs and reap the benefits of long-term investment.

Many Bitcoin investors struggle to understand the difference between short-term and long-term since it is not as obvious as it appears. In traditional investing, long-term is frequently defined as a few years, but in the world of cryptocurrency, this is not the case. One approach to figure out the differences is to consider the objectives of each form of investment. Short-term investing is typically about making immediate profits, but long-term investing is primarily about building wealth over time. As a result, each technique requires a distinct attitude.

In other words, there are some advantages, towards buying when the BTC price is going down rather than when it is going up.. but you cannot really affect those kinds of situations.  You have to play with the cards that you have, and figure out what you are going to do and how you are going to deal with the current dynamics as well as future dynamics that are not really known very well until after they happen.

everyone loves buying from the dip cause they accumulate more for cheaper price, but as an investor we must also be well prepared for both market trends and learn to keep on accumulating no matter what, with proper planning and building up our funds we can also grow to better take advantage of those bear season well when we have well built reserves or have found a way to increase or source of income.

You have a good point there. Even though buying the dip can appear to be a good strategy towards accumulating Bitcoin, we still shouldn't be adamant about the fact that timing the market or waiting for a dip before you buy Bitcoin is only a good strategy if your goals towards Bitcoin investment are short-term, when used for long-term goals, buying the dip wouldn't be as helpful as it appears to look, it would only end up looking like an over hyped or over exaggerated strategy due to its ineffectiveness.

Considering and having a diverse range of strategies as well as a solid financial foundation could be be even more effective when focusing on the long-term. Also, having multiple sources of incomes can also be a huge help, especially during a bear market. Also having an emergency fund would also appear to be really helpful because it will help you avoid the temptations of running to your investment whenever you have financial needs or an emergency.

How the society is now one has to be extremely careful with the way we bring up our children and then no body can raise our children better not even their teachers who spend most time with them
In this jet age they ( children) learn very fast from as early as zero years..
Parents needs to be alert with the activities of their children until they get to adulthood
But in all prayer is the strongest weapon
I think raising children is one of the most difficult assignments on earth. Most characters exhibited from children this days are being learnt from outside, most times schools and social gathering.
I do no think a parent will ask his child to dip his hands into fire, every parents would want his child to be responsible and well doing but most children decides to be irresponsible and use less to their society.
What is corrupting the children this days is the use of internet, even a 7yrs old child owns a smart phone and his free to access the internet not for knowledge acquiring but to enjoy social lives.
The scripture will say, train up a child in a way he should grow and when he is old he won't depart from it. As you rightly said prayer is the strongest weapon

A few actions parents could do in order to direct their children in a beneficial path. First, display the conduct you wish to see in your children. If you want children to be kind and respectful, display that conduct by being respectful and kind yourself. Second, have discussions that are open and truthful with your children concerning the risks as well as advantages of the internet. Make sure they recognize that not everything they see online is sincere, and that they should use precaution when sharing information online. Third, it is necessary to create limits and restrictions on usage of the internet.

This days There are diverse news of broken marriages all over the world, with little news of reunion. Lately my friends uncle just resurrected an old relationship after 1 year in divorced zone. but on every disagreement with his new fiancee, He keeps reminding us about the positive side of his ex wife. This leaves me with the thought that he will still take her in if there is a chance, but such incidence is rare in our society, But I wonder if it is forbidden. I need more idea on this

So, for me... A single point to take into consideration is whether the relationship was at first healthy and respectful. If there has been violence, unfaithfulness, or other severe difficulties, trying to bring back the relationship is probably not an excellent idea. On the other hand, if the relationship was generally sound and the split was caused by outside influences, it may be worthwhile to give it another shot. However, it is important to assess whether reuniting as a couple would be acceptable to any new relationships. So maybe it's appropriate to reconcile with an ex is entirely dependent on the situation and the individuals involved.

People who is carrying the child inside their body can make a decision about that. And i haven't heard any case it would be easy decision for them. Abortion is done in very early stages anyway. Fetus is not aware of anything and haven't experienced anything.

And the irony is just too much when i see people who are so pro life when it comes to unborn, but seem to despice baby's life after it has is born. Then it's suddenly baby's fault that it was born to conditions that it couldn't handle and ended up in jail later on. Pro-life people aren't so pro life when it comes death sentence, war, free health care, or decent living conditions for poor people.

Then they seem to be ok by letting people die.

You truly are correct. Certain individuals believe that a woman's right to choose what happens to her body is an inherent human right, and that the authorities or anyone else should not tell her what to do with her body. They also argue that leading a woman to keep a pregnancy contrary to her will is an act of captivity that disregards her fundamental rights as a human being. The fight for life frequently focuses on the rights of the unborn, but appears to have no concern as much about the liberties of people who are already born, because they appear to be more involved with handling female bodies than actually preserving life, and those who are contrary to abortion are also against offering social assistance and helping families in need. So, I believe it is not only about life, but also regarding ideas and mindset.
