can you check your hash for block 357000 if it's 4e7666bb31c44138b41c78b06b170075ad1d0180108bc8b9bd7e71d2f49d7805 then you have ze official chain !!!
that block is check pointed in the OG repo so must be legit.
seemingly the one running atm forked about a year ago? at least since (lol i'd be sad cos i've mined a few on this theoretically illigitimate chain.)
Are there later check points to the one you mentioned? My last pre-2016 is Status: 1234 confirmations Date: 16/12/2014 08:09 From: unknown To: BNYLnzDxoYCn7cvExFGeReeTKe7zSCJo7v (own address, label: iSpace.co.uk:3345) Credit: 20.94335 RKC Net amount: +20.94335 RKC Transaction ID: 0d01310b80cbda7e2b51afbd9401dd2dbba012f193a6ab87d490a322fa5e6574 which would be block 365892 as my current number of blocks is 367126 Given that iSpace recently lost all their data through a Hard Drive failure (and discontinued Reiki Coin mining an aeon ago), I'm not too sure where to find an independent cross verification.

working pools?
No need - PoW finished a long time ago; #RussiaCoin is now wholly PoS and trading at Cryptopia https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=RC_BTC (last trades sell 388 / buy 199) Hope to see you there.
Still looking for a third party faucet service if anyone knows of one?

coming alive again i see indeed
i have a fairly mature chain somewhere
It might end up being a case of who's blocks are the oldest that match?

I am now up to v0.1.3.0-g99999-boc Build date July 4, 2013
Current number of blocks 367126
The Reikicoin block explorer shows block 330655 so you are on your own chain/fork. I would have thought that was obvious when I said: My last pre 2016 block was 0d01310b80cbda7e2b51afbd9401dd2dbba012f193a6ab87d490a322fa5e6574 Status: 1234 confirmations Date: 16/12/2014 08:09 From: unknown To: BNYLnzDxoYCn7cvExFGeReeTKe7zSCJo7v (own address, label: iSpace.co.uk:3345) Credit: 20.94335 RKC Net amount: +20.94335 RKC Transaction ID: 0d01310b80cbda7e2b51afbd9401dd2dbba012f193a6ab87d490a322fa5e6574 which you conveniently cut out of my quote. Perhaps you can shed light on when you think the fork occurred?

Is there any evidence that the "multipool" is pump-and-dumping PakCoin?
How often has this happened, or was it an occasional thing?
Can you modify the block explorer to show things like the rich list or similar?
|
|
|
Are there any Alt Coin mixers out there?
|
|
|
Would you consider any other faucets?
Not sure I like the second window that opens and hides behind the main window. (Or the pop up banner)
Why are there two Captcha's on each page?

Bitcoin jumped to a surprising 475 late this month, wonder what caused the serge. Hope the price can stay high for awhile.
May Day Revolution perhaps? Is there any evidence that the price of BTC jumps at the start of the month ie when people who only get paid monthly are likely to be cashed up and are more likely to buy?

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/stellar-give-away-19-billion-lumens-bitcoin-holders-1556899Stellar.org, the non-profit technology provider aiming to connect financial institutions using consensus-based cryptography, has announced it will be giving away 19 billion of the network's native currency, lumens, to holders of bitcoin.
The lumens will be distributed in several rounds, said Stellar CTO Jed McCaleb in a blog post. The first round will include three billion lumens, and will follow a snapshot of all coin balances taken on 4 July. The lumens, which constitute 19% of the initial lode in existence, will be distributed in proportion to how much bitcoin individuals are holding. On 5 July Stellar will publish a claim page, allowing bitcoin holders to verify that they control a given bitcoin address and send that address's share of lumens to a Stellar account. So Stellar.org would be building a database of who controls which wallet and can then track where those funds have come from (and where they are going). It takes the Anonymous out of Crypto - No?

Just recently got into BTC; I have 2.5 saved up. Plan on taking 25% of each of my paychecks and accumulating and seeing what will happen in 2017 or later in the year. Thoughts? Ideas? Speculation? Advice? Tips? Nice, 2.5 BTC is a good amount for a newcomer. Also, how much is your salary per month? Because 25% is a lot, well, if you have a small salary. For advice, you should store your Bitcoin in a secure environment. For instance, paper wallet or in an offline PC. Salary is about 3k / month. Is storing it in Coinbase wallet secure? I recently signed up with that website. How would you go about storing in an offline PC or paper wallet? I don't quite understand. Avoid any online wallets that send you the keys, even if they claim that it is all automated. You only need the public and private key values, you don't need to print on paper, just don't give out the private key (or your wallet.dat file either)

Read the ad again, they are offering to sell those coins for cash/face-to-face trade and escrow is not enabled by default for cash/local trades and therefore they're not required to have those coins at Localbitcoins wallet as the trade will take place off the site.
Only 0.1 BTC is required in your wallet to be able to post local trade advertisements.
There have been a handful of occasions reported here where people have been scammed face to face when trading cash for BitCoins in large quantities. There is a smccullah90 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=203801 zero activity registered here on the 27th of December 2013 and last active on the 12th of August 2015 http://archive.is/x0OJd which fits in with the smccullah on LocalBitCoin having registered seven months and four weeks ago on that service. http://archive.is/R760K

Haven't given up yet I did some maintenance after a power failure forced a reboot. Pools are available and now on UPS. I haven't given up either I got it listed on the voting on Cryptopia folks so don't forget to go there and vote vote vote This coin needs a good home and Cryptopia is one of the best right now Cheers It's unlikely that Cryptopia (or any other exchange for that matter) will list most refugees from Cryptsy where voting for just one coin per week (or month) is concerned. I'd be very reluctant to pay to list a coin either. Bluetrade lost a lot of players when they started removing coins that had been paid to list in the first place.
