181  Economy / Economics / Re: Singapore's Central Bank Outlines When ICOs Are and Aren't Securities on: November 15, 2017, 07:25:08 PM
The ICO model is still intact when it comes to scam per day rate. Anyone not willing to comply certain rules for ICO's will simply host the ICO elsewhere. Unfortunately no matter what governments do, when it comes to ICO scams, they can't stop it. People will need to learn the hard way to discern from scam to a project with some weight. Not an easy task on scamland.
182  Economy / Economics / Re: Roger Ver goes full blown BCash on: November 15, 2017, 06:36:26 PM
Bitcoin is approaching all time highs again while BCash has crashed badly, pretty easy prediction. BCash has made progress tho. It's still way above pre-bubble prices, so who knows, maybe it manages to stay a top5 altcoin just because it has the Bitcoin name on it mostly. But there's a problem: Coinbase still didn't allow withdraws, and several exchanges have claimed they will start dumping it. DGC (Barry Shillbert) claimed that they will start dumping like 3000 BCH a day... so watch out for that. It may be a good idea to keep some BCH to see what happens in any case, but those hoping for a flippening are delusional in my book all things considered.

Yeah it's pretty interesting bitcoin has find it's way out of the storm it's been pushed into. BCH has to be crushed guy, you still have to watch another episode of this drama. BCH will remain in the top alts lists for sometime not because of its own power but due to the support of miners and few of the whales of crypto.
Dumping BCH in the exchange will definitely bring it down but will affect many of the small investors as well. The huge investors has already withdrawn it's funds form BCH and once again  has put them to BTC. Now they will enjoy the profit from BTC. Wink

BCash's only strong point is that it has no segwit, if you believe that sooner or later segwit will lead to an huge attack as described by hyperme.sh. If this is the case, then BCH may pump, but the big money in BTC aren't fans of BCash, so ultimately it would be another pump and dump before the situation resolves on BTC. And segwit giving BTC problems is still a theoretical surface attack which im not sure if it will be practical to actually implement. So like I said, all things considered, I still see BTC as the safe place to be in crypto, just don't use segwit if you are paranoid.

184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 217: Bisping vs GSP Info and Betting Thread on: November 14, 2017, 06:26:01 PM
And Bisping looks like has become a paycheck fighter over night, and just like that.  He's fighting again vs Gastelum on November 25 in replacement for Silva, who failed a drug test.  Lol.

He'll be retiring after he gets his fill.  Prolly by late 2019?

UFC Fight Night 122:  Bisping vs Gastelum
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_Fight_Night:_Bisping_vs._Gastelum
Well we have to give credit to this man who is willing to take this fight in such a short notice and I guess he really wanted to redeem him self after his loss with GSP. He did well in his fight with GSP and I guess Bisping is aiming for a rematch. He tried his best but GSP is the best man for that fight.

Bisping should retire to be honest. The man is fighting with only one eye as far as I know, because he lost his vision on the other one due an eye-poke. It is insane to think that he is risking his life on the cage with 50% of vision. The man must be a millionaire by now and he does a good job in Fox Sports (I think he works there). But these guys really love fighting. DC is also a millionaire and has a secured job on TV but im sure he would love to fight Jon Jones again. If you don't love fighting you don't get this far, you need that competitive edge.
185  Economy / Economics / Re: Roger Ver goes full blown BCash on: November 14, 2017, 05:19:50 PM
Looks like something is going on with the miners in China. The government is back at it with some sort of "crackdown on miners". Jihan Wu was supposed to be at a conferecne today and he wasn't present probably related to that.
And on other news.. Bithumb, the Korean exchange responsible for the mega BCash pump, visited by the police:
Get some popcorns because the drama never ends in bitcoinland.

You're up to date, jay, haha. But actually, this move should have come earlier. A lot of hydropower that is meant for industrial purposes (domestic) siphoned off for cheap Bitcoin mining. In fact, most of these "hidden" miners, and not just in China, are using electricity at domestic/household rates, which are of course cheaper than industrial rates. That has to change naturally.

And the cops at BitHumb? That can't have anything to do with Bcash... the police have been expected at BitHumb since the class action lawsuit taken by a lot of angry people who lost money during their server outage at the Bcash frenzy. They're actually there to protect BitHumb in case the angry traders get violent. You've seen those videos where South Koreans politicians brawl with each other right? Haha Oh... okay I guess it has something to do with Bcash after all Wink

Police visit to Bithumb may have nothing to do with the Bcash pump, but they incidentally visited it right during the pump so they might find something going on. Roger Ver's traffic from bitcoin.com is mostly asian, he is always shilling BCash on japan. Japan is coming soon with new mining tech, im sure he's trying to convince them to mine BCH and not BTC, we'll see about that.

Is it just me, or does anybody else think that GSP's come back was 'meh'?  It looks like another publicity stunt just to draw a large crowd.  I would rather watch Whitaker vs Bisping.

And who else thinks GSP will vacate the MW belt?  Don't think he'll defend it.

I don't know man I think GSP looked pretty good to me. It's been 2 years? since the latest fight, the guy is 36 and he was out of his natural weight range.

I agree that he would need to fight a top5 fighter to see what he can do. I would love to see GSP vs Khabib, I think it's a good match and both are similar in frame and weight. If GSP ruined Khabib's undefeated record it would be huge. But I would rather see Conor vs Khabib, but im sure Conor will fight Tony first.

Conor can make fucktons of money doing the whole Tony-Khabib-3rd rematch with Nate and even throw in a fight with Woodley that would be epic too.
188  Economy / Economics / Re: Roger Ver goes full blown BCash on: November 13, 2017, 04:14:27 PM
Well it looks like they ran out of money for the time being. BCash crashed hard from that ridiculous $2700 peak. I can't believe someone bought at that price. Props to whoever dumped there, big bucks to be made with this. I will keep the rest of my BCash because I know this will happen again eventually. BCash depends on flippening dramas happening and every time there is one on the horizon they will pump this. Of course no flippening will actually happen, the key is to know when to dump.

I am cautiously predicting that there's a tipping point somewhere around $2,000-$2,500 for #Bitcoin Cash, when Bitcoin Legacy will just be dropped like a bad habit and the exits will be crowded, except for by a few who still refuse to read the writing on the wall.

11:27 AM - 11 Nov 2017

The list goes on. Just check these guys twitters, everyone is pumping this to the moon and back. So many billions being pumped in what seems the biggest altcoin pump ever. I hate that they are spamming BTC's mempool because I can't access to my BCash fast enough, by the time I get them the dump begins. Fuck, and I thought I would have a relaxing holidays.. there's no rest day in crypto.
190  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: 173000 unconfirmed transactions, 13 transactions per second on: November 12, 2017, 04:03:43 PM
A few weeks ago it was also 100k transactions, in a short time they were all proceeded.

Though, this proves that Bitcoin is not yet ready for mass adoption and needs deep upgrades to support more transactions.

Will others Crypto take advantage if this ?  Smiley

They are already, look at the Bitcoin Cash pump. But just like spamming the Bitcoin network is a futile and short lived strategy, the pump money on BCash is also short lived and futile. Sooner or later Roger Ver and whoever else is orchestrating this attack will run out of money and things will go back to normal, because there is no fucking way that out of nowhere all this transaction growth is organic and not part of an altcoin pump and dump scheme.
191  Economy / Economics / Re: Roger Ver goes full blown BCash on: November 11, 2017, 04:10:52 PM
Whatever is happening with BCash, it appears to be a coordinated effort. Its likely something Roger Ver and friends have been planning for a long time. The most likely explanation is BCash will follow in the footsteps of ethereum. There will be a big spike. Followed by dump. Roger Ver and friends will ride away with the lion's share of profits. Then BCash will sit idle and not move much as eth has for the last few months. Ethereum may have already showed the blueprint for where BCash's future lies.

Most big price movements appear to be coordinated. With bitcoin it was a co-operative effort between Jamie Dimon, china banning exchanges and a host of media and academic personalities coordinating to label btc a bubble.

With bitcoin cash, it was a coordinated effort between bcash's network upgrade being out soon, Roger Ver attacking bitcoin and claiming bcash is the real bitcoin, sock puppets spreading pro bcash propaganda (like this:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2383794.0  ) and whatever else. Roger Ver and friends likely bought bcash to prop the price up and create a spike, intending to profit off it later from the shift of momentum?

If segwit2x was plan A. Bitcoincash pump and dump could be plan B. Notice how quickly after segwit2x was cancelled this coordinated effort @ bcash pump occurred.

This is an interesting topic. Unfortunately I cant say I've been following events close enough to know with good accuracy what the implications or exposition to this is.

This is a planned action. They cancelled bitcoin segwith2x upgrade and BCC started to go to the moon. It's not a coinsidence very obviously.

Jihan Wu and Roger Ver are the wolfies trying to make themselves more rich. People are aware of this.

And don't forget the ongoin attack on the mempool with a massive amount of transactions out of nowhere coupled with spam all over internet forums about how "the flippening" is here. Reminds me of when the Ethereum "flippening" was about to happen. Let's see how high can they pump it before the big dump. They have until January 2018 to keep pumping because when Coinbase allows withdraws shit might get ugly if you didn't dump yet.
192  Economy / Economics / Re: Roger Ver goes full blown BCash on: November 11, 2017, 03:29:34 PM
You never answered how Roger is using his Bitcoin.com site to pump Bitcoin Cash. How is he doing that?

TL;DR: Buy the fucking dip and enjoy BCH's pump while it lasts.

A better TL;DR: Buy the fucking dip with Bitcoin Cash!

How new can you be? Bitcoin.com is propaganda central for BCash, same as the /r/btc subreddit. Also notice how this is all coming from that Korean exchange, it is obviously Roger Ver dicking around.

Also someone found this pastebin from months ago dated  Jul 30th, 2017:

Quote
Traders, certain information has come to my attention that is causing me grave concerns and i feel it is my duty to warn each and every one of you.

We all know the scaling drama has caused a huge rift, resulting in bitcoin forking into the soon to be "Bitcoin Cash".

I know many have large holdings and savings in bitcoin, and are 'hodlers' and will never sell, so when the selling starts, you may lose everything if you don't also sell.

Gentlemen, this is certaintly not going to be gentlemen.

Certain information has come to light from back room channels, sources i cannot disclose ~ even writing this post will probably reveal my source - but i feel by gods will, I must warn you all.

Selling is coming. Selling the likes of which hasn't been seen since MtGox era.
Already as i type this, battleships of bitcoin are being shorted on all major exchanges.

Gentlemen, The enemy, the big blockers, have colluded and joined forces. The chinese, Jihan & co have put together a plan to replace bitcoin with bitcoin cash.

The plan goes like this:
Chinese miners (f2pool, antpool etc etc) have organised with major exchanges (via/huobi/okcoin etc) to support and launch bitcoin cash.
Initially they will let everyone who wants to sell, sell.
Once the coin has bottomed out, and everyone who wanted to sell has sold, they [chinese miners/jihad/chinese exchanges] will begin accumulating lots and lots of bitcoin cash.
They will then begin to pump the price  to around 0.1 BCC/BTC - 10%
The big pools won't mine it ~ they will let the smaller pools see the returns from mining this expensive, but low difficulty coin and start mining it.
Later, the larger pools will join, and as we know, jihad has ALOT of hashing power, their plan is for bitcoin cash to have more hashing power than bitcoin ~ and lets be honest, once t he chinese move over, that is pretty much it.
Around this time, the 'hard fork' section of segwit 2x is not going to happen ~ it never was - Bitcoin cash will then be seen as the original NYA coin..
At that point in time, Bitcoin cash will be on all major chinese exchanges, possibly some western exchanges aswell, and have majority hashing power. Western companies & other merchant providers (BitPay - @Spair) etc - paid off by bitmain etc will go along with the new bitcoin cash narrative and will push for the 'bitcoin cash' to be called 'bitcoin' on all their platforms, leaving only coinbase et all which will then be the odd ones out..

Now comes the scary part, The old bitcoin, the bitcoin we know and love, is going to get DESTROYED.
What determines a coins success ? It's market cap.
Big old school blockers and miners are going to dump bitcoin back to the bottom, they will take literally billions and billions of dollars out of bitcoin. They will use the money to fund the marketing, and development, or 'bitcoin cash' - Think, Bitcoin core - FIRED.  Think - forbes article, "why bitcoin miners and companies are moving to bitcoin cash" - think - "Why the market is chosing bitcoin cash as bitcoin not bitcoin core"  - They wil lsay the market has spoken, that people have voted with their money.

Right now, massive huge shorts are being built, already on finex, shorts are at 32k - not seen since $200 these kinds of numbers of shorts, and its climbing, all the t ime, consistently, they have ALOT of coins to short.

The most painful kind of selling, is where it never bounces and if you remember MtGox from $1000 to $70, you'll remember what no bounces feels like ~ and I can tell you. This won't be any better.

Good luck all, remember - fair warning.

Below is I grabbed, i also have some slack and telegram logs, I will sort them out later when i get back, i just want to confirm what I can safely disclose first for my own protection.

Not sure how legit this is, but at least it predicted 2x being cancelled, but then again i also considered that possibility.

And I don't see big whales supporting BCash besides Roger Ver, everyone else thinks it's a joke. Therefore, I don't see how this isn't a pump to exit at higher prices before Coinbase allows people to dump their coins come January 2018.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 217: Bisping vs GSP Info and Betting Thread on: November 10, 2017, 04:59:46 PM
It was fucking fantastic. It was awesome to see GSP back in amazing shape, still looking really sharp at age 36. I hope he continues fighting, but that weight was probably too much for him, he should cut and fight Conor McGregor, now that would be an epic fight, but McGregor still has Khabib and Ferguson first.

Cody's perfect record got fucked by TJ and Joanna's perfect record also got fucked by Rose. A night of upsets and exciting fights. Now I wonder, besides Khabib, who else is undefeated?
194  Economy / Economics / Roger Ver goes full blown BCash on: November 10, 2017, 03:32:40 PM
Roger Ver is using his bitcoin.com website to pass Bitcoin Cash as Bitcoin. My theory is that after the 2x cancellation he has ragequitted hard and is dumping all of his BTC (or a big amount, enough to manipulate the market) to stop the rise we were saying yesterday while pumping BCH. Some traders with big followings called a top for 2017 that was broken with the $7888 pump yesterday and are FUDding to save face and try to make a self fulling prophecy of their top, trying to pass 2x cancellation news as bad news which is dumb (example, Tone Vays), this would feedback loop Roger's big fat dump by making others dump too. So either Roger Ver is trying to exit scam BCH, or he is going to be supporting BCH from now on while actually dumping his BTC (thus far he didn't dump his BTC for BCH in other words he wasn't putting his money where his mouth is). I didn't dump all of my BCH so im still winning, but I don't expect this to last. At the end of the day, the big whales are on BTC except Roger. Also notice Roger didn't sign the 2x cancellation while Jihan Wu did. Jihan Wu has started being critical of BCash in the past few hours while supporting segwit:

195  Economy / Economics / Re: Having a strong hand pays off once again on: November 09, 2017, 04:38:09 PM

Now its ambiguous situation whether we will get to see this stability in bitcoin price or not. Whether there will be more incriminate in the prices of bitcoin or its going to be worst downfall in the history. Or there is something else that come up with segwit2x. The reason is still unknown for the cancellation and don’t know yet which one is the valid. Many things to be considered, people invested money because they wanted to have those free goodies which they won’t be getting now and thus its all complicated situation at the moment. Lets hope something greener comes up.

I don't see anything ambiguous about it. Without segwit2x and thus the hardfork out of the picture, we should go up. I don't care about the current dip or further dipping, the fundamentals right now are generally good. Some people may be taking profits because they want to buy some stuff for the holidays, others will be dumping because they got here to get the segwit2x coin and they will be going back to alts, and then we have the haters with resources like Ver dumping to try to shift the narrative and make this look bad. But the bottomline is this is positive news and sooner or later we will keep growing (outside of any retarded events like another fork but this being so recent I don't expect it) so buy the dip.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2x CANCELLED and Parity issue! on: November 09, 2017, 03:35:15 PM
So many shits happening right now in cryptoworld. What would happen after the cancellation of Segwit? Also the parity issue that locks huge amount of ethereum. I just want to know your opinion.

Parity is a mess. The only good thing it does is it looks good and it works on a browser... well it really doesn't as we can see. I tried it back then when I considered buying some ETH and storing them there thinking they would be safe, how naive.

I also tried the native geth full node wallet and it was a mess, never synced.

ETH is a fucked up coin.
197  Economy / Economics / Re: Having a strong hand pays off once again on: November 08, 2017, 06:59:43 PM
They made a lot of noise then suddenly this one.
Luckily my altcoins that are traded for bitcoin is now growing thanks to the pump in bitcoin price.
A sudden cancel is a question that will get into the minds of the holders. Why?
Did this people just created a fuss just so the bitcoin price will get up.
If they did, then it was a success. We all made a good profit out of it. But is this the end of the line?
Should we sell now? Now those questions will keep you awake at night.  Grin

They were serious about the hardfork at the begining. When miners and companies started to drop from the New York Agreement, it became increasingly obvious that this was always a contentious hardfork.

In order to save face + profit from it, they bought the dip, then released the statement on the mailing list, and now I guess Roger Ver and other losers are trying to stop the rise with that red candle. The ATH is hit anyway so who cares.
198  Economy / Economics / Having a strong hand pays off once again on: November 08, 2017, 05:44:56 PM
I knew these sneaky weasels could try to pull this off (a short squeeze, by canceling the hardfork) and like I said a couple days ago , I would just sit back and hold it hoping for the best, and the best came, look at that long ass green candle for yourself.

With segwit2x out of the question, may we march towards greener pastures now, until the next drama ensues, but lets hope we can have a relaxed new years for once. For now let's enjoy the ATH.
199  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC can reach 8000USD or not? (Share your opinion) on: November 08, 2017, 05:10:45 PM
A lot of traders seem to not believe in double tops, they call them unicorns as if they happen once in a blue moon. Turns out the CME futures announcement is driving a rally and we'll see once again if the double top as a very rare event happens and BTC fails to reach 8K this year, or if it breaks this rule and we get past $8000 as predicted by Goldmans Sachs recently.
200  Economy / Services / Re: ♠ BETCOIN.AG ♠ Fixed Signature Campaign - Monthly Payments - No Free Spots ♠ on: November 07, 2017, 05:48:55 PM
Hi. I would like to announce that we have added a minimum post limit to the rules of our fixed campaign. However, in this place I point out that all the selected participants had an average number of posts per month in the area of 70-100 posts. When submitting offers for fixed campaign, we have counted that your average number of posts will not fall. So no one of you should suddenly have less than 30 posts, and if for reasons of problems, lack of time you predict that you will not write so many posts it is necessary to let us know. We will remove the participants, whose average number of posts suddenly fell after joining the fixed campaign. We will also remove the participants, who without informing us will write less than 30 posts. As mentioned above, all the selected participants have had a high average number of posts and in the postings we asked for not to fall after joining the fixed campaign. Please keep this in mind if you want to continue to participate in our campaign without any hassles. We apologize for the delay in payment, they are in progress. You will be paid 25% extra for a week between the pay-per-post campaign and the start of the fixed campaign. Thank you.

Do not make arbitrarily, vague, interpretative rules. 30 posts or more = get paid. 30 posts or less = no pay, anything else will just lead to problems. Some people may not find the time to keep up with an average of 100 posts if you were posting 100 posts before the change in rates. Consider that the rate has been cut to more than half, you can't expect people to continue doing the same amount of contributions. I will always have 30 or more posts with good grammar, not spamming bullshit and I expect to get paid for it.

Please calculate the rate that we pay and say if you look at the BTC / USD price you get less for posts? If you take part in a fixed campaign then the rate should be very satisfactory. And as for the average number of posts, we are just exactly hoping that your average will not fall, and if you have read the message, each of you has received a message that he agreed to, including in it:
Quote from: BetcoinCasino
At the beginning of each month you will receive the pay for the previous month, there is no minimum number of posts, but we count on your average number of posts will not fall.
It should not be any surprise what we wrote above. If we notice a significant decrease in the number of posts from any of you after joining the fixed campaign, that person will simply be removed from the campaign.
We also consider fixing the US Dollars instead of the BTC so that we do not change the rates every time. Currently, 0.05 BTC for Legendary with avatar, 0.045 for Hero with avatar is very good rate and if someone wants to receive it for 30 posts, it just will not be fair to agree to the terms sent to each person in the message. We know exactly how many each of you wrote and we will be careful to make sure that each one of you personally agreed was fulfilled. To remain in the campaign, you only have to follow the rules that you agreed on. None of you in the last few months have less than 30 posts, so the logic is that if someone is suddenly less than 30 it is a sign for us to such a person do not trust. This is the policy and we ask to inform us if something is happening in your life that does not allow you to write posts. Then we can find a solution together. If someone does not agree with our policies, we are very sorry and we suggest you choose another campaign.Thank you.

I am only making a very rational argument about it.

Suppose that a member was making the minimum 50 posts/month of the previous terms. This guy is a Legendary member, making good posts, good grammar and so on, so gets accepted into the fixed campaign term. His average was 50 posts, since he did the 50 minimum posts to get paid. This means that this guy is now going to get 0.05BTC assuming he wears the avatar.

Similarly, another guy was making the maximum 100 posts/month for the previous terms, a Legendary member with good posts that gets promoted into the fixed campaign.

So what's the situation here?

Our first guy is going to get 0.05BTC paid for an average of 50 posts a month.

Our second guy is going to get 0.05BTC paid for an average of 100 posts a month.

Conclusion: The guy that contributed less previously, is now getting the same as the guy that used to contribute %50 more for the same payday.

Don't you see a problem here?

PS: I've been working with Betcoin for years and I would continue to do so, im just pointing out flaws that I think will only lead to drama when at the end of every month a guy makes 40 posts because he saw the minimum was 30, but his previous average before the fixed term was 80 (and some months you have more time to post than others), and here we go.

As far as i can see there is no problem what so ever. Seeing the history,  all of you were selected by a strict competition and the OP selected 30 best in terms of posting quantity and quality. If your avg was 30 or 40 posts, you would not have been selected in the first case, as the OP mentioned he took the best poster both in quality and quantity.

So now, when coming in Fixed campaign and no minimum, why all of you want to grab 0.05 with no posts at all ??  Grin Grin Grin  Should keep on making 70 to 80 posts per month as you have been doing in last 2 years.  Wink

Read the post again, I adjusted it to the selected "70/post average".

I have not been making 70-80 posts, I always had 100 posts minimum, so my average is exactly 100. You are asking me to make 100 posts to get 0.05 when some guy can make up to 30 posts less for the same money. There are 30/posts weekly campaigns whose rates would give you 0.1BTC monthly, so 50% more for 20 more posts. Consider that people may have been investing extra time to in order to make 100 qualifying posts in order to get paid more, we aren't new to capitalism aren't we?

The reason im sticking here in Betcoin is because they have been consistent and I never had a problem until they went the fixed route with the so called averages.

Also there's a minimum: 30 posts, so stop saying stupid shit as "grab 0.05 with no posts at all".
