181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 650,000 Bitcoins got lost from Blockchain ? on: July 06, 2018, 08:55:57 AM
When Mt. Gox collapsed in 2014, some 650,000 bitcoins were lost. While it was a rather big sum four years ago, it is now worth $5.2 billion. Another big failure may result in a total loss of confidence in the cryptocurrency, resulting in an exodus to fiat money and commodities.

Last week, $500 million in NEM cryptocurrency were stolen, adding more concerns about the lack of security of investing in cryptocurrencies.

650,000 Bitcoins got lost from Blockchain ??

That is the main reason why bitcoin price is so expensive than 2014 now. Many coins lost, and the demands keep increasing.
If many peoples want to buy bitcoin but the circulating supply is low, then bitcoin price will increase over time.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does bitcoin need to improve? on: July 06, 2018, 08:33:04 AM
I can clearly see that there are other cryptocurrencies that are beginning to dethrone bitcoin, showing off there quick and secured transactions, though bitcoin continues to be the king. What does bitcoin need to improve state your opinions.

No other than the tx fee and speed, these will need to improve in the future so if many peoples using bitcoin as their currency, the transactions is not pending too many. But i think bitcoin is more suitable for holding and investing. Just like a saving but for long term.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mining is costly... on: July 06, 2018, 07:56:59 AM
One thing to say mining bitcoin consumes a large amount of electricity and it would take lots of equipment to manned the mining. There should be a development in making the cost of bitcoin lower; given that lower mining cost could yield a higher profit. However, it matters on trading and exchanges.

That cannot be helped, everyone wants to mine bitcoin, network difficulty will increase far. And the mining equipments are expensive too because many peoples want to buy. The more demands, the more expensive the mining tools.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who sells BTC now? on: July 06, 2018, 07:28:16 AM
I have seen many threads talking about should I sell now or wait till BTC moons. When I see these threads I marvel and move on to check on different topics or threads because I know the person doesn't know what he is talking about. Diving more into cryptocurrencies, when you sell now it means you are a coward and don't even know the kind of cryptocurrency you are dealing with. One thing is that, its really kinda pity to see those topics raised. I have set a goal and until that goal is not, I will never sell BTC and that's me.I want ask that is it because those selling the coin are newbies and are afraid of loosing some small $s or they haven't read much about bitcoin or the cryptocurrencies or they have low knowledge about the blockchain technology?

Everyone could sell their bitcoin. But if you sell it for now, the market is still on the dips. It is not a good time to sell.
You can either hold your btc or buy more btc with the cheap price now. Remember last year hype ? i believe btc will reach that price again someday.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does the crypto market reacts after an exchange gets hacked on: July 06, 2018, 07:15:19 AM
I think the exchange that get hacked must take a quick action after the hacking.
Some exchanges collaborate to stop trading some token to minimize the impact, you can see for example IDEX, Bancor have was stopping
trading pundi x token some days ago because some exchange get hacked.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CryptoNightV7] ⚡ Electroneum Classic ⚡ on: July 06, 2018, 06:33:38 AM
Recently was created a project - Electronero. Also fork of Electronium with a much smaller premine and the same algorithm (CryptonightV7). https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3373837 Oh? What is the need to create another similar fork? Do you have money to promote your project? I doubt very much. Experience or known team? The answer is also negative. Are you gaining experience and experimenting?

But this project is better than electronero. Electroneum classic is not forked from electroneum like electronero.
It would be bad if it forked from electroneum because it was 60% premine. They can dump in the market with massive amount later.
This project is good if the planning execute accordingly.

188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decision in panic! on: July 05, 2018, 03:17:02 PM
Have you ever take wrong decision when you were panic. share your experience

As far as i joined till now, luckily i haven't make any decision when im on panic.
Usually panic will not bring any good, including panic selling and panic buying.
There will be a condition when crypto on the market start to hyping or dropping. At that time, many peoples get panic  FOMO when hype, or selling low when dips.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and altcoin: Who will take control of the market? on: June 30, 2018, 09:00:55 AM
In times of volatility and uncertainty, investors tend to favor one particular crypto that has high liquidity and is stable. At the current time, Bitcoin price trend still dominates the market trend.

However, Bitcoin leading position seems to be doubtable as Altcoins have recorded a stronger rise recently and the market is less affected by Bitcoin. Instead of following the general price trend of bitcoin, many cryptocurrencies also start to follow their own “trajectory”.

This week, the altcoin works much better than both Bitcoin and Ethereum. The added value of the ERC20 tokens and the increasing demand for small cryptocurrencies of investors in the global market has proved that Crypto investors are more confident in betting their money on this market.

Saxo Investment Bank from Danish, with its aim to focus on online trading and investment, has announced in a recent report that the capital inflows from organizations to the Crypto market will lead to a rise in prices for most of these currencies.

Both of bitcoin and altcoins are a great coin in the market. Currently the leading one is bitcoin because its market cap and volume.
In my opinion, if many altcoins keep developing a new features, someday altcoins may surpass the bitcoin and take control market.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is MEW Safe to use now? on: June 29, 2018, 06:48:01 AM
Recently there was a split between the team behind MEW and a new paper wallet site opened up.  Is MEW still safe to use with a Ledger?

Just use Myetherwallet for viewing balance only, not for sending tokens or eth. For better security, use metamask.
You can import your existing myetherwallet to metamask, or create a new wallet in metamask. You don't need to put your private key on metamask.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your plans with your Altcoin? on: June 28, 2018, 05:03:01 AM

192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I continue to invest? on: June 28, 2018, 04:18:25 AM
I had invested one ICO previously, it failed although I didn't contribute a huge amount on it. A news yesterday made analysis on blockchain ICO projects, mentioning 92% of these ICO projects are failed.. Should I stop investing the others or any really potential ICO suggest?

I think not 92% are failed, maybe they just dont have products to used. If no product available, there will be no peoples want to buy their tokens.
Just wait until they have a good products or apps to used, Later may peoples who want to use their apps will buy many tokens.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is For Risk Takers on: June 27, 2018, 12:32:02 PM
I seen lots of people are panic and selling and spreading FUD . But based on my experience people who really dare to take risk only won here .
Wise and daring investors are still searching for good potential coins to invest while its really cheap were greedy people are panic and spreading FUD
Finally people who dare to invest bitcoin even when the price of 100$ they created fortune here . Its completely daring and vision not at aall luck . SO if you are having real vision and want to make milestone in life then be here in crypto and support other wise please quit .

They are just a day trading hoping their coins price increase, but not happening, and later start spreading fud about bitcoin.
If you cannot handle the risk of lose money from crypto, just leave crypto. Everyone should know that crypto price is so volatile in the market.
The price now may low, but later will be far higher than current, or the opposite.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin insurance. on: June 26, 2018, 07:09:12 AM

195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Ponzi scheme? on: June 26, 2018, 05:02:29 AM
Ponzi scheme never lasting long, but bitcoin is lasting forever i believe.
Cryptocurrency will be sustained long across the years, unlike ponzi scheme, will be crushed.
196  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is it possible to brute force bitcoin address creation in order to steal money? on: June 26, 2018, 03:53:00 AM
i think it is not possible because when you are creating your bitcoin address, your wallet address will consist of many characters.
The brute force method will not cover all of combinations of the private key of some wallet to steal.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency could help your business or not? on: June 26, 2018, 03:25:00 AM
I am running my crypto mining business so far and it is really helping my other business because i got incomes from crypto.
Cryptocurrency is helping us to enlarge our businesses from individuals to big companies. I believe in the future everyone will use cryptocurrency
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest wisely on: June 25, 2018, 11:17:32 AM
It's getting ridiculous here. People are now investing just because of the hype or just from watching the scores given by Icobench, ICOratings etc.

You're doing it wrong. You should look at the team and the experience they have, whether this project exists already (e.g we have Monaco, TenX, Centra, MoxyOne and many others) and none of them actually delivered 100% what they promised etc. so unless you really see the potentials on the project, you really shouldn't invest. Ignore the moon bullshit they are trying to feed you.

This is valid for both bounty hunters (because they are wasting their time) and ICO participants (wasting money).

We should not relying too much from the rating sites. Some of them are paid to listing ICOs in their website.
I personally always do my research in the project that i want to invest. So that in the future i wont get scammed.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is still legit? on: June 24, 2018, 03:00:30 PM
What makes you think that ICO is not legit now ? If you talk about scam ICOs, yes there are some icos that is a scam.
but other than the scam, many icos are legit and good. With a good project and community, the ico can be success and bring much profit.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best source to find better ICOs? on: June 22, 2018, 06:28:29 AM
i wonder there is a better source to find about ICOs that will give 3x ,5x profit in short term.lot of ICOs in these days are scams or don't have real working product.and also they go below ICO price after list in exchanges.but i want to invest on real ICOs that have working product and give me 3x,4x back for my investment

Yeah it is important to find ICO with a reliable source because many scam ICOs. you can try look at the ico rating site like icobench, icotracker, etc.
Some peoples even make spreadsheet with a list of ICO and their measurements about ICO value.
