We are not planning on making a project where we would have to rely on devs so prob nothing soon=/
Any online venture ull probably take, will always rely on devs, unless you start learning to code, but that doesn't mean you'd just quit it.. there are alot of ways in which this could have been prevented and trusting the devs at the same time.

Anyway, im deeply sad for what happened. You guys are young, im pretty sure, you'd  get over it.  Wink

184  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auction of MoneyPot.com the bitcoin gambling wallet on: December 02, 2015, 07:37:59 PM
Thanks everyone for participating. I have selected a winner, and the auction is official over. Thanks everyone!
May we know who or what group the site has been sold to?
185  Economy / Gambling / Re: Magicaldice.com | Officially Launched | Bitcoin Dice Website | Fancy Rolling on: December 02, 2015, 07:10:30 PM
My heart was in this site, and hours upon hours of time and energy were put into it.. I am shocked, and saddened by these developments, and ashamed of the ONE responsible..
I AM and WILL REMAIN 100% Dedicated to the cause, and I am FOREVER faithful to Stars and Cryptasm. What was built here, aside from the one devious Dev, has been a truly Magical experience for all who have encountered it.

BTW...This is not a damned Eulogy

I truly believe the team will overcome, and like a Phoenix, we shall arise from the bitter ashes of this battle not defeated, but wiser, maybe a little scarred, but forever reminded that if it doesn't kill you, it will only make you  STRONGER! ! ! ! !

Forever True, and Unchanged,
Yours truly,
SALTYBASTARD

Best thing i heard today. Thanks salty.

so unibtc was alt from development team?

No, Unibtc was a legitimate player as far as I know.

lol the way i saw he betting sounds like a know seed playing, betting by ranges pre-calculating simulating to be smooth... anyway, can't say nothing about it..

sorry for it friend

LOL what made you decide to just throw away base-less accusations like that.. I have proven my self many many times already. I have given all the documents they needed.. And yet nothing is enough.. That's just so sad..

Anyway, Ive been talking to stars, and im deeply sorry and sad that this happened..

187  Economy / Gambling / Re: FastDice.com Launching ➽ Demo Mode on: November 26, 2015, 05:23:33 AM
Just a tip:

if you want your statement "We don’t claim to be faster, we claim to be the fastest out of anyone" to be atleast close to achievable , then dont use AJAX request spamming for updates.. Due to its larger data overhead, it will lag the client sooner or later. And spamming a get and post request just to get updates is a thing of the past.. Try using websockets, or SSE, they are much suitable for dice sites that polls for updates every second.

I am out of town at the moment for the next few days, and i purposely and mistakenly left my trezor at home for the reason of not getting tempted to gamble while im out of town, and i urgently need the loan to pay off some online invoices that only accepts btc as payment and is about to expire today.
I was expecting the funds on purse.io to be cleared today to cover up for that, but sadly, the delivery failed today as it is sunday, and the business address was close. You can check all the details on my purse.io history.

Thanks

Im canceling this request as my funds on purse.io have finally cleared. Thanks

191  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auction of MoneyPot.com the bitcoin gambling wallet on: November 15, 2015, 05:12:36 AM
Its sad to see that you decided to auction the site.. I don't see anyone else capable enough to do what you did for the site, the investors and the devs.. But then again, real life is more important, and for that i salute you for it..

What happens if no one bids after the deadline? And incase someone bids and he/she got no competition, will he automatically win? Bidding 50btc is easy for big competitors of moneypot, Its gonna be sad to see some competitor site bidding for the site and winning, and just for the sake of abandoning it.. Every big business will do anything just to remove a competitor, even if it means spending and buying it..

Also what will happen to the current apps that are currently hosted or powered by moneypot if the new owner decides to just drop the project after buying it.

Again, its sad to see the site up on auction, And i salute you for what you did and have done for the bitcoin community. I wish you all the best in life.

Regards,
Uni

The address that i sent my bitcoins is https://blockchain.info/address/1C5psAw1MNetyEdYto6HX4r3o32mARSBCN

The bitcoins are from https://blockchain.info/address/19FkJ11Cr6eRZCJYJi2nBk8NijgVecvYq1

And i used coinb.in to send that tx.

Both addresses are on the same wallet file that was overwritten.

I do have the priv key for 19FkJ11... But not for 1C5psA.
195  Bitcoin / Electrum / Lost ~5.256BTC on Electrum wallet file. Any help would be appreciated. on: October 12, 2015, 04:19:16 PM
I just lost approx. 5.256BTC on my Electrum wallet. How?

First, I use the older version which is electrum 1.9.8.

My default_wallet file is getting bigger and slower because of multiple txs and addresses, so i decided to create a new wallet and send my btc there.. So here is the detailed description of what happened.

1. I opened two Electrum programs. Lets call it Elec1 and Elec2.

2. They both will open the default_wallet file. So i see my bitcoins on both Electrum.

3. On Elec2, I clicked New/Restore, It will open a save file dialog. I wanted my New wallet to be the default_wallet when it opens. So on the save file dialog, I made a backup of the old default_wallet by copying and pasting it. Then i deleted the default_wallet.

4. I named my new wallet as default_wallet, and click save.

5. After going trough the process of creating wallet, i finally created my new wallet.

6. I copied one of the new address on my new wallet, and using Elec1, I sent my bitcoin to that new address.Everything went well, I received my bitcoins on the new wallet address.

7. My Elec2 got stuck on synchronizing, So to be able to test my new wallet, i took the private key of the address that got my bitcoins, and took another address from the list, and sent my bitcoins using coinb.in. It went fine and smoothly, i got my bitcoins on the other address.

8. I then closed Elec1.. And this is where the problem occurred.

9. My Elec2, was still stuck on synchronizing, and every time i get this issue, i just open another wallet file, then go back and open the default wallet again.

10.  So i opened another wallet file(not the default_wallet), Then i went back and opened default_wallet again.. And to my surprise! This is is the old default wallet. It has my old addresses. And it does not contain any of the new addresses or my bitcoins.

What happened was, When i closed Elec1, it overwrite the default_wallet file containing my new addresses.

And sadly, i did not also backup my new seed..

I have read before that it is possible to get the master private key of the wallet if i have one of the private key of its child and the master public key. But i only have the private key of the child and not the master public key. I'm not sure if this is the same case, but any help would be appreciated.

197  Economy / Gambling / Re: Magicaldice.com(Provably fair or not..?)Warning for dicers on: September 15, 2015, 04:20:09 PM
Another conversation with your very nice mod BTC..

Now i really do demand an apology.  Cool
198  Economy / Gambling / Re: Magicaldice.com(Provably fair or not..?)Warning for dicers on: September 15, 2015, 03:48:08 PM
Now, that is pretty awkward. If the seed was changed, it shouldn't affect what shows up on previous bets.

When the server seed was reset, was the nonce set back to 0?

Our dev messed up and reset the server seed only. He thought that was all that was needed. Regardless, we understand that it was a pretty big mistake. When our dev comes online we will make sure Uni will be able to verify all previous rolls.

I just did a small run.. and im up 0.7.. So i guess that proves im not cheating..

Tho i have not received any apology from other admins even tho they have went online.. and i also demand an apology from your mod BTC.. thats all =)
199  Economy / Gambling / Re: Magicaldice.com(Provably fair or not..?)Warning for dicers on: September 15, 2015, 01:36:32 PM
Like Stars said, this has been resolved, I accepted his/her apology regarding this matter. I guess BLUE just wanted everyone to know what happened as a future reference "incase" something like this happened again in the future, whether it will be on the same site or other sites.

Looking at the screenshot of the chat conversation tho..

Mod BTC tried to stop Bluewaffle from saying his own opinion on the matter, and said that to let unibtc and stars talk about the issue. AND YET, after some few chats, he strongly, blatantly, blankly accused me of cheating.. There is no proof of this claim of his, neither the admins nor the devs could not prove otherwise. I have given my real life information, my real life finance information and complied to whatever they needed. And yet this mod just shoot away with his accusation. Would you trust a someone like this to be you mod? I wouldn't, then again its just me.

Anyway, for everyone's information, this has been resolved, Stars have apologized, and he/she said other admins will do too once they get online.

There is no cheating nor exploiting that happened, its just a decision made by the admins which is not right and should not happen again.
