Interesting idea.  However, how do you define "saving" a life?  If someone is starving, does giving them a tiny amount of food "save them" count, even if the are going to be hungry again in an hour?  Does every minute that you pay for the electricity for a machine that provides respiration to someone in a vegetative state count as saving them?

I like the concept, but worry there may be weird economic consequences.

Does anyone else get the impression that the OP is a narcissistic teenager?

Honestly, pics or it didn't happen. Post the intro, TOC and a sample chapter of your book if you want to be taken seriously.

I'd say there is a reasonable chance he is stitching pieces of other peoples work together, and that is why he is resisting posting a sample.

Post a sample and I might be interested, but buying an anonymous persons ebook for $25 is ridiculous.  Good luck.

It may be ridiculous for you but it is certainly not ridiculous for all those who have purchased the eBook (not on this forum) and have been satisfied.  In fact, people have paid higher prices for the book and have been more than satisfied.

The amount of money you will save by reading this book will more than pay for it self--and that more than ten fold a year.

Misers are welcome not to purchased the book.

You cannot put a price on privacy, anonymity, and freedom.  They are priceless.

I will not post a sample.

I would be more than happy to receive payment via a Bitcoin escrow service to ensure the integrity of the product and its seller.

The fact that you expect me to trust your anonymous assertion of quality makes me think you don't understand anonymity as much as you claim...

Why don't you pay Dropbox for the service they are providing you, instead of some random sketchy person on the internet?

OP is basically a thief.

You can purchase a horse head mask here. $25. If you live in the US and are willing to pre-pay, I'm happy to use my CC and you can send me equivalent bitcoins.

  • Bitcoin Hologram Sunglasses

If they look good at all, I'd buy 5 at 1BTC each.  Come on some entrepreneur, step up!

Have her cover "Sexy and I know it" by LMFAO with some bitcoin modifications

Girl look at that bitcoin (x3)
I mine coin
Girl look at that bitcoin (x3)
I mine coin

When I walk in the spot, this is what I see
Everybody stops and they staring at me
I got bitcoin in my wallet and I ain't afraid to show it

I Bitcoin and you know it (x2)

... etc.

Choose a popular song and tweak it so its about bitcoins, then the lowest common denominator will be able to appreciate it and not just our tiny community.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NaNa: Our new Bitcoin Spokesperson on: March 15, 2012, 09:32:10 PM
Of course, I don't mean the official spokesperson for Bitcoin, thought that's not necessary outside the realm of possibility.

That is outside the realm of possibility. There is no "official" bitcoin anything.  It is all open sourced and decentralized.
194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mt Gox Insider trading? on: March 15, 2012, 08:16:29 PM

1. Zhou also stated that all biticoin for bitcoinica is kept in MtGox and that they didn't actually touch the coins. What happened there? 43K went missing.

Initially Zhou stated this, but I believe he had to add a separate wallet to accommodate BTC deposits and withdrawals to get around MtGox withdrawal limits. My guess is that is what was hacked on linode.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: possible bitcoin addresses on: March 15, 2012, 07:16:30 PM
There are about as many possible bitcoin addresses as there are atoms in the earth.
196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mt Gox Insider trading? on: March 15, 2012, 04:39:55 PM
1. Zhou stated that he has a rule that he does not do any personal trading of bitcoin for something like 24-48 hours after seeing any privileged information in the database.

2. Nefario, where did you get 80k?  I heard 43k.  This is probably roughly on the scale of his profits, but like copumpkin said, I wouldn't be surprised if a backer is eating some of this loss.

3.  There is no evidence that Zhou is doing any insider trading or betting against his customers, and he has repeatedly asserted that he does not and never will do this.  Does he have the power to lie and steal from his customers? Of course, but until there is more evidence than just opportunity, I don't think its fair to be making accusations.

4.  I don't think "The Manipulator(s)" is Zhou, but I am pretty sure whoever they are- they use Bitcoinica (leverage makes manipulation easier).

How to track, trap and skin a wolverine. Of course, it's a skill I haven't used since I was 8 and No, not just wolverines, wolves, caribou, bear, fox as well.

I will give you 5BTC if you can get your mining rig struck by lightning, and capture a picture of it.

Just sayin...
