I think it's very difficult to predict the value of ethereum because we are currently still in the bear market and in my opinion the new etherum will experience an increase when bitcoin is pumping. although ethereum will pump after releasing eth version 2.0 but does anyone know when that will happen? and in my opinion the release of eth version 2.0 does not guarantee eth will pump big. I don't think it will touch $10K in January which is pretty much starting tomorrow. However realstically I think somewhere in the first quarter we might see $9-$10K. I periodically look at the Deribit options and looking at the OI and volume for March 2020 expiry, https://www.deribit.com/main#/options?tab=BTC-27MAR20You can see that the $8000 call options had alot of volume recently and the open interest is big at 1182BTC and the premium is way over $750.00. So whomever invested in these options is betting that it will be at least $8750 sometime before the end of Q1 2020. yes i also agree with you i don't think bitcoin will reach $ 10k in January. because if you look at the bitcoin chart, the price of bitcoin in December is stable at $ 7k and it seems rather difficult for bitcoin to pass this $ 7k level. few days yesterday bitcoin increased by 1% but then dropped more. and I think now and until early next year we are still in the bear market. so don't expect big jumps of up to $ 10k in the near future. |

Back in the days i used to disregard some pennies of my bitcoins in several exchanges thinking that these coins would never be worth it looking at its price at the moment. However, this idea came into my mind about some few weeks ago that what if Bitcoin reaches a double of its previous all time or even greater once this long awaited global adoption sets in. Seriously this made me think twice and have made me roam through all my exchange accounts and wallets making sure that i have access to them in order to cash out all those pieces of bitcoin if they ever become worth it again. This may sound quite silly but i am quite optimistic about it  yes you have to see and check every satoshi bitcoin that is in exchange because even if a little but in exchange for fiat money the amount is pretty good. I suggest you better collect all the scattered bitcoins into one exchange. choose an exchange that has a good reputation. and to reduce the transfer fee you can change your bitcoin to altcoin. and I think turning it into litecoin is the right choice because usually the transaction is low and the value of the movement follows bitcoin. |
