Thanks a lot Djm34, tested on new core 2.0 tesnet, found blocks at 16.5 mh/s on nvidia 750ti ( no OC) AMD testing will start tomorow. We are Nexus Greetings, Would someone be so kind as to post a link to the latest/best GPU sk1024 miner for Nvidia 750Ti (compiled for Windows please). I have the one from the OP links, but I believe another was created (OpenCL version) that is more efficient. I have searched the interwebs and cannot locate it. I seem to remember a mention of a Ver. 1.4 a ways back in the posts where Viz showed a screen capture with (1) 750ti @ 38000 khash ? Thanks for any help. I quoted a post by djm34 that has some newer version (I believe). I'm not a miner so I can't verify these work or are better. Thanks for the reply, I was able to use the miner , it is comparable to the one I have been using ( 18000 - 19000 khash ). I read in other posts that Wolf0 had made one but there are no Windows binaries and I do not know how to cross compile. Perhaps someone will read this post that can or already has it, not that I know if it is any better, thanks again. OH! Here is the post that I was referring to , does anyone know if this is relevent.....although I cannot tell how many threads (cards) this is.... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=657601.msg11105424#msg11105424

I got all this setup but when i try to connect to mine it refuses my connection. I can mine locally fine. I also opened the said ports in the UFW. Do i need to any where else?
When you mine locally (within your home router) use the internal ip of the computer that is running your pool and a given diff port. Example: minerd -a cryptonight-light -q -o stratum+tcp:// 10.0.0.36:3333 -u WmsRmw7RxendsaFUq92oxRbQBxoe6RyUeEvVdw58mWcsA7KXVravgtK1TxBpDkjZbmifTfYpqp7NoXP qxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -p x -t 2 Hope this helps

Hi, I've been following Monero for the last year and just learned about Aeon.
I'd like to learn how to CPU mine this coin, but the windows compilation instructions haven't been working for me. Its likely a simple error that I'm making.
Specifically I'm receiving error messages for the last 2 build steps. Note all the steps prior to this work perfectly.
1) Here's the output when running > cmake -G "Visual Studio 12 Win64" -DBOOST_ROOT=c:\boost_1_57_0 -DBOOST_LIBRARYDIR=c:\boost_1_57_0\stage\lib .. (I've highlighted two lines in blue that may or may not be relevant)

Any feedback about what the problem might be? Thanks.
You really just need one of these to mine it my friend https://github.com/Arux-BTT/CPUMiner-Multi-cryptonight-light/releasesAnd if you are using Linux you can just run it with Wine.

Are there any working windows compilations for AEON-0.9.6.0 ? I found Myagui's unoffcial here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=641696.msg12901324#msg12901324Had a friend use this link on a Windows 10 machine and he is getting so strange outputs while syncing. I haven't delved deep enough to give a good report as to what is actually happening, just thought I would ask if that link is still relevant. Thanks ....GO AEON!!

Those who are mining at 98.238.231.31:9000 please note that pool payments were stuck a few hours ago and all payments are safe. Just waiting to reprocess payments once the backlog has cleared. All mining and coins are OK and thank you for you patience.

Nice Work SoG team! Any chance of getting credit from round 2 if counterparty address was not linked until 3/2/16? I can prove ownership. Have tested since round 1, but was hesitant to link address until I just saw the Chrome extension (very cool btw) Anyhow if Dev team could pm me I would provide account details, thanks Coins are harder to come by now so it would mean a lot to those of us who tested and sent bug reports. Hi Cryptophilanthropist, thanks for your message! Unfortunately, as stated in the Season 2 rules announcement, only the accounts created before Feb 24 were eligible for this season. Nevertheless, if your address is linked now, you can take part in the Season 3, which starts later today (at the moment when your in-game currencies and offchain cards are reset). Thanks for your understanding. Thank you very much for the reply I understand and I am all set up for round 3, go team go!!

Hello I am quite late here but I am mining it now through minergate i want to withdraw my earnings but I can find where I can download the desktop wallet can any one send me the link to download I am using windows x32
Here are unofficial binaries by Arux (bottom of page #122) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=641696.msg12901324#msg12901324You will need to sync the blockchain and remember that the wallet is CLI (command line interface) there is no working GUI (graphical user interface) at this time, so you may need to learn how to use the commands. If you cannot find a daemon/wallet use how-to within this forum, google search for a Monero how-to it will be the same. Hope this helps.

Anyway guys,i got a virus last month and somebody stole my account here on bitcointalk.Any idea how to get it back? I was a Sr Member,so it hurts a bit.
You can't. Unless your account was signed with PGP. See BCT security pages. Also see my signoff below, I feel your pain.

Thanks for the links, however there are some specifics in regards to a GAP pool ...all suggestions are welcome... btw did anyone ever solve the Nvidia gpu problem?

I propose we make this week an unofficial "tell a friend about Aeon" week. Lets get more people thinking about the benefits of an untraceable blockchain Sounds Good! I just did! Converted 2 new disciples

I would like to host a pool for GAP @ 0% fee. Can anyone post a good tutorial , I run a cryptonote pool but the back and front ends are different than what I see that was last at github by noncepool.
Or if anyone can point me to the right person to request help from, thanks.

I haven't checked in on Spread in a while. However while syncing wallet (9 weeks behind) I noticed the network speed has doubled and even tripled at times. What are/is the likely contributing factor(s) to this. More participants, improved mining software, pooling (not likely), I am curious if anyone has a definitive answer or observation. I like this project very much, 1.5 GH is a good step up for SPR

Regarding the recent comments about an "easy to use" miner and/or wallet interface I have heard the same comments from others in my circles here at home. Is it possible to set a bounty for this type of miner (an auto detect miner with GUI) especially since the AMD miner is working good as well?? Perhaps it could be then linked to a GUI wallet that is stored locally? Another option could be to sync local wallet to an off-site blockchain, so as to avoid the RAM implications for newer users? Or simply host an online wallet, seems as though the option does not bother many users. I am not able to technically do these things, but I could host any needed server space to help.

Just pointed my rig your way. Lets hope we hit some blocks!!
Nice work!! Thanks 2 Blocks hit just recently.

We should hit quite a few blocks in the next 24hrs considering the difficulty and recent "luck" %

Confirm you see it? Working nicely I see it, I will be adding 16 cores of mining to the pool tomorrow as well GET THEM BLOCKS!!
