181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: February 10, 2016, 12:18:55 AM
You just have to do other things, do not even go to this forum.
I think you just need to know that gambling is very wrong and many people get in problems.

What you are saying is absolutely correct, but everyone doesn't think the way you think, addicted people will find reasons to gamble as they cannot stay away from gambling and its not easy for anyone to keep them away from it.
182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any advantages from gambling? on: February 10, 2016, 12:17:08 AM
The only advantage from gambling is that if you win big, you become rich overnight, which is not possible by doing a job or by having a own business, but if you loose, you loose everything, its better to stay away from gambling.
183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: February 10, 2016, 12:15:02 AM
Gambling has never made me cry, as I gamble very occasionally and too in with the least amount using bitcoins, as bitcoin allows me to gamble even with the small amount, so even if I loose, I can afford it and doesn't make any difference.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: February 06, 2016, 09:01:35 PM
Yeah WU charges a lot of fees for their services also it's not as convenient and it can be used by carders to cashout their CC.

Bitcoin is a lot more convenient, and faster too.

yeah bitcoin is better than  western union. bitcoin charge a lot of fees less but  western union charge a lot of fess  . when people use bitcoin this time not feel more problem .
yes transaction cost is still a constraint in western union. if we choose bitcoin as a medium of payment of the costs of the transaction fee bitcoin will not be felt at all. bitcoin transaction fee is very cheap.

Yes and people who are into bitcoins will never enter the doorsteps of western union, as the fees are high, and the online transfer process is very time consuming, where as bitcoin transactions are fast with minimum cost and credits are instant.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: February 06, 2016, 08:58:41 PM
Maybe it will cross over 1000 $ in june 2016.

Do have any basis or maybe a quick explanation on why did you think that will happen? Because I think that's very optimistic and probably too good to be true. It would be better if you give a brief explanation  with your wild guess. Anyways, I am gonna look forward to that, who doesn't want BTC to become $1000 each Cheesy

Yes we hope that whatever he is saying would be true in coming future, and we all want that bitcoin should cross $1k mark in this year, So probably it might happen after halving, so its better to hold bitcoins at a moment and not to sell.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your first bitcoins came from.. (faucets aside) on: February 06, 2016, 08:56:27 PM
My friend gave me a part of bitcoin and then I made it to 1 btc by gambling, And once i had one btc in my wallet I returned the value that my friend gave me at initial stage, and then I started to earn bitcoins from campaigns.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a waste of time mentioning Bitcoin to friends and family? on: February 06, 2016, 08:54:11 PM
If your family & friend is open to for new information then go for it.

If your family & friends isn't interested, then nah. It will be a waste of time

Yes the problem is that they want to make money out of it but they don't want to invest their fiat into it, as they find it risky in investing into digital currency, and the main reason is they are not tech savvy so it becomes difficult to explain them.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: February 06, 2016, 08:51:49 PM
So after reading this article and especially the ending:

Quote
One thing is for certain: having made Bitcoin less of a security worry, transparency will now be key in attracting users to new models, placing control of funds and fees in an upfront way in their own hands.

I'm wondering what's stopping people from using bitcoin?

And now I'm talking about people who already aware of bitcoin and how it works but still not using it.

The price is now pretty much stable for more then a year, security issues are out of the question - so why we can't see in 2015 more companies switching to it, especially considering the unstable condition of moden economy?

i think the most important factor is local government's policies. on the other, lack of knowledge dont let bitcoin spread to the world.. bitcoin must clear its name from bad gossips..

That's true, if the Governments come in support of bitcoins, then it would change the scenario drastically, as if the Governments will support bitcoins, people would start having faith in bitcoins, and would surely start investing into bitcoins.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Take it from me: Bitcoin will NOT die in our lifetime. on: February 06, 2016, 08:49:25 PM
I sure hope so Cheesy I am really excited this year to see just what will happen after the halving. Will more people jump on the train? Will it collapse?

It will not collapse, bitcoin will shine and rise, the bitcoin price value will reach at its height in this year.  Just like in 2013 the price reached to $120 the same will happen after halving in this year also, Maybe the price reach to at least $800, but I wish to cross $1500 in 2016.

That would be amazing if it reaches to that mark, but yes bitcoin will rise after halving that is for sure, and who knows where it will land up at the year end might cross $2k by the year end, 2016 is definitely the year of bitcoin.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: February 06, 2016, 08:47:02 PM
What are your opinions on paypal or bitcoin for online shopping?
for online shopping,i more like paypal, because nowdays so many online shopping accept paypal, but hard to accept bitcoin, like ebay or amazon, they so hard to be friendly with bitcoin. i dont know why.

Yeah when it comes to online shopping I think Paypal is the best option, as you find Paypal on each and every online shopping websites, comparatively there are very few websites that accepts bitcoins as a mode of payment.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: February 06, 2016, 08:44:54 PM
Its not possible at this moment or in the coming decade, banks are globally trusted by the people whereas people are still hesitating to use the bitcoins in the daily routine transactions as they dont have enough knowledge about bitcoins and also there is lack of trust. It will take some more time to be a popular currency among the people.

Exactly, bitcoin still needs a support from people and some time to grow and be more popular in coming future, once it gains the popularity world wide then are possibilities that it would disappear banking systems, but still a long way to go.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you earn a lot of free bitcoins fast? on: February 06, 2016, 08:42:57 PM
my one and only way of earning bitcoins fast is gambling, with it you can earn a lot of money in a short period of time

I would prefer it too, as I don't see any other way to earn bitcoins fast, only gambling is the way to do that, So I actively gamble and try to make some profits out of it, no doubt sometimes I win and sometimes I loose.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2016, 08:40:42 PM
I thought mining was the best way to grow bitcoins but I was wrong. I have a few mining contracts which are giving dwindling payouts day by day. It's better to gamble and double or even triple my investments in a few minutes.

Yeah if you want to grow your bitcoins in a quick time, then gambling is the best option, as mining and trading are time consuming, and even signature campaigns doesn't pay you high, gambling is the best when it comes to growing your bitcoins.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: February 06, 2016, 08:38:44 PM
Yes, Bitcoins can be consider as real money if you know how to spend it and where to spend it. There are many things you can do with the bitcoins just like our traditional fiat currency, eg- online shopping, paying bills etc.

Yes and the best thing is you can convert it to fiat currency whenever you want, there are no public holidays when it comes to bitcoin transactions, and if by converting bitcoin to fiat I can get hard cash in my hands then it becomes real for me.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: February 06, 2016, 08:36:40 PM
Well leaving or staying is a personal choice.

What's for sure though, is that you still have something like a few weeks/months to decide yourself. Cause after the halving, btc will either die or skyrocket so you gotta chose before then! ^^

Yeah the better decision would be to stay at a moment, as we have waited so long, so leaving at the final stage would be something foolishness to do, I would surely stay until the halving occurs and hope that everything goes fine.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever dreamed about Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2016, 08:33:49 PM
I dream every day about bitcoin, I dreamed that one day I won million of bitcoins by gambling and I was the richest guy overnight, but we also need to believe in reality, and reality is that I am not that lucky to win milloins.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I like bitcoin on: February 06, 2016, 08:31:46 PM
Is something new for humans.
You can pay anonymous and fast, all transactions is in same time anonymous and public.
I like Bitcoin,bitcoin is  future.

Yeah bitcoin is a new technology for us at a moment, and the best thing is the youth are taking active participation in learning new things, I believe majority of the community involves youth and bitcoin will reach to a new level.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: February 06, 2016, 08:29:04 PM
I think yes people are already into bitcoins to take care of their illegal activities, maybe drugs and most of the people are using bitcoins for gambling too, and there are many countries in the  world in which gambling is considered as a illegal.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the biggest faults of BTC & how would you fix them? on: February 06, 2016, 08:23:37 PM
Limited acceptance -> fix by telling them about Bitcoin , educating them.
Long transaction confirmation time -> really bad, you cant buy physical goods fast because of this, no idea how to fix though.

Exactly confirmation time is the major issue with bitcoins, I think bitcoin core team should work on it and make it more fast as it is very time consuming and irritating sometimes, and bitcoin is not that popular in many countries.
200  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: February 06, 2016, 08:20:34 PM
I wish lots of online shopping sites like Amazon and EBay would start accepting bitcoin.
If they do, I will be very happy and will purchase a lot of things, like; food, electronics, home decors, gadgets, clothes and lots of them.
keep calm mate. it will definitely come true. just waiting for the right time to the merchants accept bitcoin as a payment option. while bitcoin users continues to grow. merchants will automatically add bitcoin as payment option

Yeah bitcoin is still in its initial stage and it needs time to grow and bitcoin also seeks support from the community and society, once bitcoin gets into a mainstream there would be many merchants that would accept bitcoin as a mode of payment.

Well, I think if you get a bitcoin debit card, then there will not be a problem in finding a merchant of your choice, then bitcoin will be acceptable everywhere in this world, without debit card right now we can not find many options to spend our bitcoins in some countries.

That's true but the main concern is will all countries participate in it? As I don't think that would be the same  scenario in developing countries, as they still need time to develop and accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment in those countries is bit difficult.
