No, this is what's needed, if they don't care about the concept show them what people have purchased with it, e.g. that Tesla car that was bought a few days back.

In my case, they just interest to know more about bitcoin when I gave them proof that I really make money online. So hard to explain at first so need a clear output as a proof
yeah you right. same like my family. when i tell them about bitcoin and you can earn it online, my family hard to accept that, maybe because they scare for being scammed online. I believe that once took place the change of generation, will be 'much more' easy to understand and use bitcoin for beginners because they use computers or smartphones already at '6 years old. However, they may not be interested in the currency at the young age and hence bitcoins need to be used by users above 13 years to understand the price fluctuations and not just randomly invest in it. My family members have bitcoin debit cards and it was me who introduced them to bitcoins.

It's not a waste of time but you need to talk to friends who want to search for an investment opportunity or who are traders. Bitcoin is not for common users who just want to save money and spend it for their household expenses but it is for those who can take a risk. I spoke to 2 friends who are brokers and they were interested in investing in bitcoins and one of them is already a bitcoin trader who constantly buys and sells bitcoins online.

This is actually very good way to promote BTC! You can use your trust to bring more people to bitcoin ..This is healthy growth! But don't spam via email or facebook..

Yes promoting bitcoin must be every bitcoiner's responsible action to help bitcoin community to grow. So, I feel it's not waste of time on talking about bitcoin to our friends and family. even they do not accept.

Ofcourse it's not a waste of time, it's good to introduce bitcoin to the people around you, unaware of it's value and usage, i would do it when i get a chance to share it with my friends and family members.

it is never a waste of time to spread the word about bitcoin to anybody.
because it is up to us to introduce bitcoin to others if we want to reach the mass adoption stage sooner. and who is better to start with than your friends and family .

I have considered telling my family and some of my friends about Bitcoin but whenever I've tried, they fail to understand why it does have value and why it is extremely important specially in the current socioeconomic context.. they don't get it and see it as something really strange. Needless to say I wouldn't tell them to put any money on it. In a way it feels like im keeping something amazing to myself, but at the same time, I don't want to put people into the pressure of holding through rallies long term because most people aren't cut for that.
How to introduce Bitcoin to absolutely clueless people and is there even a point? Should we just let time pass and wait for them to naturally learn about it once it goes more mainstream?
yes i agree with that, just because my friend and my family is regular people,i mean they not too interesting with technology, esspesially payment technology, they too apatic.

Bitcoin is almost considered the same as telling folks you play Word of Warcraft, you get the same look. Its also like telling co-worker you gamble, they will expect you to pay for drinks because they presume you win all the time.
Until the media shows love or we get a huge burst of people using it,would be careful who you mention it to. Some associate it to dark interests and terrorism, especially older folks if they heard anything at all about it.

Yes the problem is that they want to make money out of it but they don't want to invest their fiat into it, as they find it risky in investing into digital currency, and the main reason is they are not tech savvy so it becomes difficult to explain them.

You know they can actually made money even without investing their fiat in bitcoin. There are lots of way to earn bitcoin then use that earnings to earn more bitcoin. Trading will fit here.

Did people mention they where professional videogamers/online poker players to the masses? The fact is most people will stare at you and nod there head, soon as you are out of ear shot or they are back at home the dismantling of you begins. If you do not want people all up in your business its best to just coast a long and not mention it.

Depends on what is the perception of your friends and family towards digital currency and new technology, if they are ready to accept the change then they would surely show their interest in adopting new technology.

yes i also think the same . that is to teach anyone about btc is a tedious work . and i also think it is totally useless to explain them . the better way to explain them is to leave them to understand itself. i had started to explain my many friends about it but all of them says that it us a way to make fool to any person . they said that it is also like practical money and there is speed and fast way to earn btc without taking risk . so i think. t is a useless work to tell about btc to any person .

Yeah its getting bigger and popular day by day, and that is a good sign for the bitcoin community, so more users will lead to bitcoin getting more popular, so we should surely recommend it to our friends and family.

Initially if your friends or relatives feel it is useful and if they often ask you about bitcoin and you explaining them is not waste of time. You itself can understand who has willing to know and who doesn't. Based on knowing this try to teach them which will be more effective.
