The additional bitcoins you won are counted as income from gambling, so this is what I think you are supposed to do: 1. Gain in value of original bitcoins are counted as capital gains. 2. Value of bitcoins you won when you won them are counted as income from gambling. 3. Gain in value of the bitcoins you won since you won them are counted as capital gains. The problem is that it's hard to get all the needed proof of gains from the casinos and exchanges, so I'd pay someone to fill the paperwork for me and take the blame if anything goes wrong. Well, I didn't get what you're trying to find on your first post. Tryninja built something similar on his website, finding certain address of a certain users, but that won't find any/random posted address of a certain user. I'm sure he can do something like bitcointalk price estimator's feature, you can make a request on his thread. Or I'm sure achow built that website as open source, hosting that site would be a help too. see. now you got it huhn? this is exactly what I was looking for. and it does find any posted addresses. I found the very first wallet I've staked in this forum. Thanks. |

You mean to check the staked address on old website? If that so, most tools that verifies signed message will still work like electrum and brainwalletx regardless the time the signed message made. If you mean the staked address was posted on that old website but the site isnt available now? If there's a web archive of the page then it can still be verified. you both have no idea what I am asking. do you remember that website of Achow101 that's name was "Bitcointalk Price Estimator" or something like that? which also used to show us our old staked addresses. I think you guys are not from that golden era of Bitcointalk. I bought some BTC back in Nov 2019 at $8700/piece. The online betting site uses BTC and I won some BTC. I plan to sell all my BTC in Nov 2020 exactly 1 year so I can get the lower tax rate. However, I will have more BTC than when I started because of the gambling winnings. How do I figure out the taxes for the extra Bitcoins? I live in US.

There marketcap data don’t lie, they just almost took all the money. It was a very well hype project in their early days but soon to be listed in crypto obituary. Honestly I’m still surprised that TPAY is still trading these days, I really thought that they’re already dead. I’m very much more excited seeing founders charged for their fraud.
It is sad but true that the founders are not being charged anywhere soon . I've tried my best. tried contacting FBI. Federal Trade Comission and every other agencies . but no one gave any response. I've tried contact the exchanges. coinmarketcap but seems no one cares. because they all have been paid. it's simple if a scam project pay them to list their coin . they'll do it. |
