Crypto space is not regulated, they will take that opportunity to scam people.
No one can stop them for now, this problem is still outstanding until now since no proper solution that could help fast track things.
It's just a bounty scam, how much more if they will scam investors, it's more serious and will again give bad image to the crypto market.

You are right, so far no significant ways have been presented to resolve this issue. It seems that it will remain so.
And I don't think they will deceive holders. It would be extremely imprudent. They are not conscientious, but not idiots.

I am Jamal Aezaz.. I was hired as tokenpay's Bounty program manager.. I have worked with token pay for over 6 months as of now. but it has been the worst experience for me to working with them.. because Derek and His Team is  one of those so many scammers who raised Millions of Dollars in ICOs. but when time of paying the supporters and Contributors come, they start making baseless excuses and try to save every single penny they can.

I just found this topic. The project claims false bold statements "the world’s most secure coin and payment platform". That is totally false and a BIG LIE as its blockchain explorer shows that most transactions are not using Ring Transactions or zk-snarks. That is a big lie. More, I did a deeper research on WEG Bank AG in this topic and I found out that WEG Bank AG is a scam bank with no customers, products, branches, income and services looking only for make noise in the space with fake news to deceive newcomers to invest into tokenpay and nimiq.

WEG Bank is SCAM

Here are some of the proofs that show that WEG Bank is a scam

I have been doing some research on the so-called "WEG Bank". Proven facts:

1. NO CUSTOMERS. They don't have any customers who is using the "WEG Bank AG" registered in Germany.
2. NO BRANCHES. There are no branches in Germany or worldwide.
3. NO PRODUCTS. They don't have any product to facilitate customers to interact with the bank. No Web Products, no software products, no mobile apps. Nothing.
4. NO REAL PARTNERS. They don't have any provable partner in place that is actually doing something except press releases.
5. NO BANK PARTNERSHIP They don't have any partnership with any other REAL bank world-wide. As you may know, it is mandatory for a bank to have partnerships with other banks to operate national and worldwide money transfers.
6. SHARES WORTHLESS. Their shares on this "bank" are so worthless, that they gave 10% of the bank shares to Litecoin Foundation (a non-profit organization). WTF. How could a bank donate 10% of its shares to a non-profit organization? Even so, it is so illegal that they donated 10% of their shares to a non-profit organization, in case they had any customer. But in reality, they don't have any customer.
7. LESS THAN 5 PEOPLE EMPLOYED. Most probably they have only 1 person hired (namely their CEO ). The website most probably was built by a paid freelance.
8. WEBSITE IS A CMS THEME. The website is a fucking CMS website. They use Contao Open Source CMS. WTF
9. RECENTLY CREATED - JUNE 2015. The company was recently created in June 2015.
10. NET INCOME: 0 EURO IN 2017. According to banking public information: the net income is 0 (ZERO) euro in 2017

WEG Bank AG is a scam. They are just a small company trying to deceive people into believing that they are a huge bank facilitating millions of new people crypto adoption into the banking system. Most probably they receive generous funds from crypto projects to create fake partnerships on press releases. For instance: tokenpay which definitely paid generous bonuses to make a press release that they have partnered up.

Worthless partnership fact:

About 9 months ago, the partnership with TokenPay was made. Nine months had passed and there is no product, no service made that came up of this worthless partnership. All these facts makes me believe that WEG Bank is a scam and a fraud company to deceive crypto investors.

Great job nimiqshitcoin.  Now we can see that all the shit that makes up the project TOKENPAY and his team, gradually begins to appear on the surface. It seems that this coin will no longer have the same value for hunters who have been deceived, as before.

Yup. After I have done some basic diligences on the blockchain explorer, I saw that token pay is neither safe or anonymous. TokenPay is linkable anybody can track the transactions easy.

Regarding the WEG Bank AG scam, their is no product, service or anything related to crypto or tokenpay that was prototyped, developed, tested or released and the partnership was signed officially at least 6 months ago, and they started the verbatin discussions over a year ago. WEG Bank looks like a scam and the partnership jus a scam pr release.

It seems to me that the situation of the hunters of this company is hopeless. In addition, the project’s reputation is no longer as good as before, to say the least. By the time the hunters will achieve/if will achieve results, this project is likely to turn into trash.

His altaccounts and motives have been exposed on this forum so many times and even before all this drama with TPay team began. If anyone is to blame for this mess then it only has to be Jamalaezaz.  I'd not trust whatever he says.

Without doubt, the only reason (or the main reason) Tokenpay scammed jamalaezaz was because of the multi-accounts they cited.

It seems jamalaezaz has no social skills, does not know how to engage with clients and his own bounty team.

In the screenshots in the OP just look at the tone he is taking with Tokenpay scammer CEO Derek Capo. He is almost forcing scammer Derek Capo in to a corner.

All scammer Derek Capo did was take the opportunity to scam BECAUSE jamalaezaz created a toxic environment allowing him to do it. Sure, there is no excuse to justify Tokenpay and DerekCapo to scam but jamalaezaz is the one to plant the option in to the mind of Derek Capo.

Anything jamalaezaz touches turns to a disaster. You all must avoid anything related to jamalaezaz.

Yes it is quite sad the bounty participants will never get paid their bounties but I honestly cannot say who is more guilty, jamalaezaz or Derek Capo Tokenpay. Both are as a bad as each other. Scammers.

Yes, it looks like they resemble each other. But I think that Derek Capo  did it purposefully, jamalaezaz, just because of lack of professionalism. Perhaps only this difference. I think that DerekCapo was fully aware of what he was doing, unlike jamalaezaz.

There marketcap data don’t lie, they just almost took all the money. It was a very well hype project in their early days but soon to be listed in crypto obituary. Honestly I’m still surprised that TPAY is still trading these days, I really thought that they’re already dead. I’m very much more excited seeing founders charged for their fraud.

It is sad but true that the founders are not being charged anywhere soon . I've tried my best. tried contacting FBI. Federal Trade Comission and every other agencies . but no one gave any response. I've tried contact the exchanges. coinmarketcap but seems no one cares. because they all have been paid.

TOKENPAY is just one out of the thousand more projects who are scamming people and no one can do anything to stop them. Exchanges only need money and they will list any coins because their motive is also to earn money only. The coins review sites will also give fake good reviews if the company pay them.

If they have release the bounty reward when the price was still good, then maybe we will see bounty hunters are enjoying their reward.
A project that scam the bounty hunters are a scam project, maybe they already lose the investor's confidence resulting to a bad price.
