People are very weary of accepting paypal in exchange for bitcoins. A chargeback can be initiated within 4 months of purchase, and paypal wont do anything for the seller because alternative currency is against their policies.

I have purchased BTC for paypal on #bitcoin-otc, but usually just a few at a time. It would be hard to find someone there to sell you more than a couple at a time until you become a long term rated and trusted user. They are also not too keen on people going there just to try buying with PayPal, so they will usually first advise you on why people don't sell them that way.

I went with BFL, but is more because of my personal situation than anything else. I was gonna buy 2-3 Jalapenos, but had it in the budget mid January to put in an order for the little single SC. That gives me the most bang for my buck, even being a little over budget. If they additional shipping delays I'm confident I can get a refund a few months down the line when I would need the money more. It also seemed that the "little" single was a recent addition, so I'm not sure if it would give me a better chance of receiving it sooner.

I created this account to propose a service I call Bitcoin Valet. The basic concept is pretty simple. You have Bitcoins and want to buy something from an online store, pay a bill online or order some delivery, but they only accept USD through a valid credit/debit card. You send me the Bitcoins at a 1:1 ratio (MTgox Last: USD) plus the service fee (10%), then I make the purchase with my card.
