I strongly feel thats a huge mistake. You simply cannot ignore the size and importance of btt. We dont ignore it, we have this thread. But thats really all this platform deserves. Anybody who is really interested goes to http://nem.io http://blog.nem.io http://forum.nem.ioPeople come here first and they are like wow look at nem or is it xem??? I dont know but I really like the lack of any community involvement the lack of any transparency the lack of any goals the lack of any timelines the lack of any and all momentum. I think im gonna check out slack.

Yes, that is because are so many possibilities and we don't know where this journey takes us... As pat says, it is really up to the people and how they will use it. And not just that, it also depends on what other stuff will be developed upon the NEM platform. I think it's more a question of if other stuff will be developed. I feel like the team has wasted a great opportunity and we have already lost so many members that if something awesome is to be released I feel it may just be to late. There is absolutely no momentum one ninja release here then 10 months later another ninja release with no involvement of whats left of the community. And I am speaking as a bag holder I bought $17,000 worth of xem at 80 sat and watched it dwindle away. I don't really get the point. Good development takes time, if the so called community is not patient enough to wait until more good stuff is released, then that is not a wasted opportunity, but nothing we can change. Namespace & Mosaic has great potential, with these features NEM is again making a great step towards a high tech platform with huge potential to do a lot of stuff we cant even think about now. At the same time the mobile apps (iOS and Android) are making progress as we have more beta testers now. And then we are working on NCC as well, but all of this will only be visible for the public when it is released. We are all tired of all the promises a lot of crypto projects are making and then nothing is happening. NEMs team is just doing it, no big promises are ETAs. you dont need just my opinion the lack of any interest from the few remaining nemsters speaks for itself. |

any update on the mobile app? It is a game changer for sure. People are not going to carry laptops with them all the time to spend xem. If you truly want it to be widely used by the public then cell phones is literally the only way short of some sort of payment card which I feel would be much harder to implement. Or would it......how cool would it be to be able to link you xem balance to a debit like card then integrate the square card reader with the mobile app to allow transactions to take place.
There was a new Android release put out today and has now been given to the Android testers. I was wrong that the mobile devs have started the new UI on Android. They are still working out some of the bugs that were reported last time getting the app functioning well, and then will move to the new UI. Please pm me a link to test |

Good idea. The devs or NEM foundation should pay a bounty for whom who is creating the first multipool. its not understandable how a project with so much potential as NEM attract so low market activity only explanation i can find is thats the downside of zero inflation no sell pressure = low trading activity only when utilization by services and apps finally starts that situation will change the marketcap and trading volume doesn't represent at all that NEM is one of the biggest potential coins fo 2016 i suggest NEM set up a multipool that allow mining on nicehash and convert earnings to payouts in XEM we run such a thing for DMD Diamond and it did redistribute over 10% of total coins in the last year thats exact the market activity impule NEM needs if u want to see a example how this could look check out https://multipool.bit.diamonds/This is the best proposal I have read hear for a long time... that would give the right market impulse for NEM! I would have to agree. I am all for it. |
