1000000 DVC Howto Bounty:

Howto clone Namecoin

Requirements:
Published on devtome.com
Icoin Genesis Block generated prior 1. August 2013

https://github.com/icoin/icoin

I cannot get what you want, just a namecoin cloning guide?
besides, what's the relationship with devcoin?

I too wonder what is meant by that. Also there is no distinct relationship between Namecoin and Devcoin. Competition already increases daily due to more Alt-coins being released therefore why do we need more? Especially a cloning guide where having lots more SHA-256 coins might cause even more competition with Devcoin... We need DVC to thrive and not be beaten down by competition.

So I clicked on the account 25 link and it says there are 0 Devtome earnings.  I added some content yesterday. How soon will the account 25 page update, or how long is the lag between time content is added and time word count from that content shows up as Devtome shares?

It should be updated once the script has been run again. I am sure that http://d.evco.in/charity/devtome_25.csv is the link for the devtome earnings.

And when/how frequently does that happen?

Lots of noob questions I know...

Yeah the script is done at 12:30 AM UTC, daily. Just ask away!

After a time of thinking, I want to sell my 12 chips since they will not be worth it. Anyone up for buying them in this group buy?
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Aegis - Official DevCoin Thread on: June 14, 2013, 01:46:39 PM
So what's happened to the devcoin exchange rates? They had decreased dramatically!

This thread is getting to bit to navigate and read it all. Why not have all these conversations over at the Devcoin forums? http://devcointalk.org

Lawrenceville Plasma Physics has published peer-reviewed results in Physics of Plasmas confirming that the firm's Focus Fusion-1 machine has achieved the highest energy magnetic confinement of a fusion fuel ever, for any device, representing two of three criteria for net fusion energy.  Translation: Garage-sized fusion generators could be possible in as few as five years.

@Unthinkingbit, since that address is generation share capable, i suggest to put that address on the Generation Share list.

It is nice to know that another site is contributing to devcoin. +1 for the economy!

Now this thread has got lots of pages... Hard to keep track when its all in one thread. Good thing theres www.devcointalk.org to discuss the possibilities to do with devcoin. I'd recommend to make new devcoin related threads and posts there.

Hey guys,

I've been busy with my new home. I still have not received any info from Avalon yet... JohnK did you get any info? tracking numbers etc.?

Well, there's still no updates at all from them. :/

The status at the store reads:

Order #10129 made on April 27, 2013. Order status: chips ordered.

At least that's better than my two other group buys, ordered on May 22 and May 30 which still reads Processing .

Avalon does state estimated shipping time of 9-10 weeks right?
It got ordered on the 27th april and its now 1st June. Thats almost 5 weeks. Guessing we are halfway there...

To start to fuel the DVC economy, I have the ability to sell xBox live points and membership for DevCoins.

I can even sell many things. Give me a list and then I can see from my wholesellers.

P.S. there is a forum at www.devcointalk.org where all this can be talked at...

Ok read a few post in here (but too many pages and unread posts since my visit yesterday!) and some things i agree with and others not... actions speak louder than words and all that jazz... so here we have a dedicated devcoin forum to chat on.

http://devcointalk.org/

Obviously very early days and what not, but i have literally just got the site up in the last hour, and will be configuring the forum for post counts and permissions etc and all the various boards and what not but feel free to register and watch it develop over the day / weekend.

I hear what unthinkingbit is saying about attracting users from here and other altcoin forums to drive up revenue... but we need a home to chat amongst ourselves i personally feel... There are too many issues and users coming up in the last month or two that shows we have outgrown bitcointalk and a single thread.

also with this we do take up more webspace and have another site to post banners and whatnot on advertising devtome and devcoins.

FuzzyBear

I just signed up for support and been waiting for the validation email. Not sure if its sent me one

Is a bounty for making a GPT site offering Devcoins?
197  Other / Off-topic / Donation service to help diseases on: May 17, 2013, 06:57:02 PM
Hi. I am Ashley Williams.
My previous posts have not been all good on this forum. I do apologise but now, I want to crack down and do something serious.

I hope this is the right section since I really want to help people.

I was thinking the other day, what can I do in the Bitcoin community to help others. How can I help? So I realised, why not help people who have got diseases. Diseases that can ruin lives causing disabilities or even death.

I know there are thousands or probably hundreds of thousands of diseases that affect peoples lives, but I have a few myself and I know what it feels like having them.

I have Hydronephrosis on the kidney and have already had a kidney removed due to this disease, and I am only 18. This has affected my urinary tract.
I know there will be a time in my life where I might have to turn to dialysis due to this.
I have scoliosis but I recently had an operation which included fitting 2 titanium bars to straighten my spine. But my spine will never be the same as a normal person. I might have had an operation but I still get stiffness and have got nerve damage.

I know what it is like living with all of these problems and I don't want others to feel the same way. I want the future to be a world where the amount of people affected by problems such as these to decrease. And that I feel as if we donate to the correct charity, this could potentially help thousands of people.

I want to help with the process therefore I have decided to ask you, the Bitcoin community, to help with donating to the correct charity.

I have set up a dedicated Wallet just to accept Bitcoins to pass to charities.

Dedicated Wallet: 18ZLyAhMvKWR65c5ZjnFopq2WqiBDbnkAz

P.S. I am being serious. Please don't criticise since I am only trying to help the people in need. The ones I feel for. Also, I will be happy to post any pics of scars from my operations I have had to prove anything.

Hey.
Where are you based? And what country would I have to send the chips to?
If in the Uk, where in the UK?

I'm hazarding a guess as his sig. states; "Yorkshire man....nuff said", that he's based in...

Oops, thats embarrassing. Lips sealed Kind of missed that.
