181  Economy / Speculation / Re: '''Happy new year''' wish (Bitcoin) price in this year 2020 on: January 01, 2020, 03:47:48 PM
Happy New year to all bitcointalk's members. I think no one can accurately predict the future, especially the highs and lows but history tends to rhyme, and the people making these predictions are simply looking at the historical behavior of bitcoin. If so, then bitcoin is going for a bubble bull run in 2020. the general public will see a FOMO opportunity again, and bitcoin grows parabolic. I hope we can see $30,000-$40,000 this year.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2009 - 2019 Bitcoins First Decade Closes With . . . on: January 01, 2020, 03:34:52 PM
More than 90 percent of people think Bitcoin is a scam or is money for druggies and criminals. It’s really amazing still people don’t get Bitcoin and it’s potential. I think Blockchain will no doubt start the next industrial revolution and Bitcoin will be looked at in awe when people realize what they could have bought into but instead scorned and ridiculed. It’s like Noah story that telling everyone about the floods and nobody believing him, But this time this flood will make even a 0.5 BTC holder wealthy beyond his wildest dreams.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 give new hope to Altcoin? on: December 31, 2019, 12:02:51 PM
2019 had been not so good for altcoins as this year has given us number scam projects and as a result, some of the genuine projects have been failed wherein people just pretended any projects with ICO as a scam. I think 2020 will bring new hopes and some good project in the market by considering 2019 as a learning area.
My answer is No. Bitcoin is the undisputed innovation on the blockchain and the rest are all questionable. The thing that many people overlook is that most of the use cases that the altcoins claim can, in fact, be built on Bitcoin, maybe not on layer 1 but upon a higher level in the stack. If you need fast cheap transactions, then use the Lightning network. If you need to generate tokens for niche use cases, then use Liquid network. also new privacy upgrades and the use of higher-level layers will soon also render most privacy coins pointless. I think the main use case of most of the altcoins is for speculating and then trying to accumulate more Bitcoin.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin bubble by 2023; capitalization up to 150 times, a research suggests on: December 31, 2019, 11:40:35 AM
Recent logarithmic analysis by analyst Benjamin Cowen suggests that, by 2023, the capitalization of the cryptocurrency market could exceed $11 trillion.

In my opinion, the altcoins bubble has come and gone forever. The bitcoin sidechains will destroy all altcoins. The lambo-mooners looking to get rich quick all arrived very too late and got their pockets drained. there will be no bull run for altcoins, but 10% increases if you’re lucky, followed by 10-20% decreases. It’s been this way for the past 20 months and will continue like this for a long time because altcoins market is still well overpriced, except ethereum. Time to be a realist, I know it’s not what the community wants to hear but it’s time to wake up.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be bearish as well? on: December 31, 2019, 11:22:36 AM
We all are aware of bitcoin halving and most of the users are discussing about a possible bitcoin pump post halving which might or not not give pump to the value of altcoins. So do you think halving will provide openings for altcoins with a pump or altcoins will continue to be bearish in 2020?
Draw a downtrend log line from $13,900 through $12,300 through $10,300 in weekly time frame. hasn't been broken since we reversed off the 2019 ATH. currently price is about $7,300. If we break above $7,800 that and hold above it, most would consider that a reversal of the bear market. thereby, I think we aren't yet out of the bear market. although I hope it happen in the next couple of weeks or months by appearing a consistent pattern of more buyers than sellers in addition to healthy levels of market liquidity. I do sometimes day trading between altcoins to increase my BTC stack for when the next bull market is in play.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price in 2020. on: December 31, 2019, 10:20:59 AM
Currently, ETH price is at 127$. ETH has not done that well this year. And the altcoin market is very much dependent on the ETH price. So what value are you expecting during the upcoming year? Is there any possibility of recovery or it will keep continuing to go down?
I expect $2,000-$2,500 for ETH in 2020, because markets work in cycles and the next bull run has already started. also, I think Ethereum 2.0 progress, and the new Ethereum applications and Bitcoin halvening will have a huge impact. Last rally of bitcoin from low of $180 to $19,500 was almost 100x gain. applying 100x gain from bottom of $3200 gets you to $320,000. ETH historically trades at 0.025-0.15 BTC, which provides a range of $8,000-$48,000. I would say $8,500 is about what would could expect in 2021. thereby $2,000 is a realistic value for next year.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH - Going to 70$? on: December 31, 2019, 10:07:04 AM
hello friends.

2018 - 2019  its similar periods for ETH. ETHEREUM are going to 70$?
what is your predicts about ETH market ? what you think about future?
Don't worry for now, I think history repeats itself and $85 for each Eth was the bottom. If start with BTC, during BTC's first cycle, it went from around $1,200 to a low of $180 then up to $19,500 during the last bull run. ETH went up to around $1,350 to a low of $85. If ETH follows the pattern of it's predecessor then it should hit $18,000. although if it does reach that point in the next 2-4 years, it would be mostly run on speculation unless a solid usable product is introduced to and used by the public in that time which I doubt will happen. Realistically, I wouldn't be surprised if ETH's next ATH reaches $15,000.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Bleeding on: December 30, 2019, 05:54:54 PM
Altcoin is not increasing for so many days. New money is not coming in market. So Always invest in good Top 30 Altcoins for being Safe.
For one, It's about market sentiment. Crypto is crashing right now, because bitcoin is crashing and it's low right now. but this is very normal, if one video game company has bad earnings report, all video game companies drop. If Apple has bad earnings, the entire stock market could shift. always hold bitcoin position and always reposition when dominance fades. 2021-2022 should be the time we experience most growth. Altcoin season would be apparent when bitcoin dominance really stumbles. I am sure there will be another altcoin season but probably mostly for new projects, not the top ones.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cut crypto loss at no cost on: December 30, 2019, 05:35:45 PM
I typically only listen to people and read articles/threads about people who explain how the token works and what market it's tapping into, as well as what their overall goals and existing support is. If someone is just shouting "cut crypto loss at no cost" I will not watch or read it because they are just blatantly trying to shill me something. Sorry, but there is so much crap out there and my guard automatically goes up.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BNB? on: December 30, 2019, 05:16:30 PM
I think the BNB is used to cover the commission fee which is popular amongst all Binance trading bots who aim to minimum margin and high trading volume. It is a definitely a coin that has value and used within the exchange, but it won't give another great ROI again, if you are planning to trade BNB then trade small and trade smart. However, if Crypto as a market is going to do well in the future, and therefore Binance is going to do well, too. currently, BNB is seating on rank 8 at Coinmarketcap with a fair market price of $14 which is not bad for an exchange crypto.
191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with planning on: December 30, 2019, 05:02:02 PM
In market you have to find a strategy that set you ahead of all other traders everybody study the same concepts, indicators, strategies and guess what? 80-90 percent of retail lose money. thereby my advice is to know what all traders know and find a way to exploit the common view and be with the market against the retail traders. also It's important to find the strategy and risk appetite to suite your personality and your time. I can tell you it's easier to use the daily timeframe than to use lower timeframes, with daily you can avoid the noise of any news.
192  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2020 Bitcoin halving!!! Bull run??? on: December 29, 2019, 02:12:50 PM
It's reasonable to conclude the halvening can affect price. basic on supply and demand. but we can not put a exactly time prediction on it. However, I believe 2-4 months leading up to the halving we will see a slight bull run in anticipation of the halving. the actual halving will be uneventful, and then 4-8 months later we should see the effects of the halving affecting the price upwards as miners need to sell to offset costs and less bitcoin is being circulated into the crypto market, because I think miners have enough reserves and forward contracts on energy etc for 4-8 months. but after these come to close and need renewing the price starts to catch up.
193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Tips for Traders here on: December 29, 2019, 01:25:33 PM
For day trading, I just use price action. It's pretty much reading the charts and looking at where prices are trending. If there is a valid trend channel I then prefer to enter on a second entry, ie two failures before continuing in the direction I think it will go. Pretty high probability setups if you can find these trends and read when they are over and are turning the other direction. the only indicator I use is a 21 bar EMA to find out when prices may flip the other direction. takes time to learn but no clutter or extra paraphernalia involved.
194  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How do you avoid high withdrawal fees from exchanges? on: December 29, 2019, 12:45:36 PM
In my opinion bitcoinity.org has a great set of tables, all of which are exportable as csv or xls. Go to their section labeled data and you'll find tons of charts for various exchanges and currencies, as well as options for time scope and interval detail. aslo you could try coinmarketcap.com. just select the currency, go to historical data tab, set date range, copy table data, paste in excel.
195  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading Academy on: December 29, 2019, 10:36:58 AM
In my opinion it is important to point out here that the traditional interpretation of various indicators don't work the same way in all markets, especially volatility markets, such as Crypto markets. For example, following standard RSI signals would have only lead to 3 trades over the past 2 years. Importantly, the strategy would've missed every large rally because the RSI registered as overbought during the largest price appreciations. I am not saying that indicators aren't helpful. It is just wise to do your homework and know how these indicators have performed on past BTC data.
196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How Exactly Does Crypto Arbitrage Trading Work? (guide) on: December 29, 2019, 10:23:06 AM
Arbitrage trading is not really profitable anymore because most exchanges have technology in place to prevent it. they will stop crediting/confirming deposits or pause trading for that coin. I’ve witnessed this first-hand with Binance, Gate.io, Kraken, Hitbtc and KuCoin. Of course, that’s pertaining to large price differences. they don’t do this for small price differences, but you’ll have to buy a shit ton to make it worth your while.
197  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ponzi scheme and Bitcoin on: December 28, 2019, 12:54:36 PM
Would the collapse of a Ponzi scheme effect the price of Bitcoin?
Though a hypothesis that the collapse of the Chinese Plustoken, a classic Ponzi scheme similar to bitconnect or countless others affected the price of Bitcoin, this seem to be accceptible although it's unlikely to be the major factor but distribution of stolen funds correlate very well with market downturns.
Bitcoin is not a ponzie scheme like Bitconnect that people needs to convince you this is a good investment, or implies the promise of future returns. Bitcoin promises no such thing. In a pyramid scheme new investment is paid to previous investors. If investment stops in a pyramid scheme the entire thing collapses to zero. BTC acts just like a stock, If investment stops in BTC it's value simply stops rising, if people sell, it goes down. Thereby it cannot become a pyramid scheme technically, but it can become like a crappy stock.
198  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN price ate all SL's above 7300$ and 7450$ way down opened on: December 28, 2019, 12:45:29 PM
The $7,000 is quite the interesting horizontal support. we can expect good things to happen as long as it's defended, i think the next is $7,600-$7,850 with the chance of 80%, and with an attempt to broke the channel and enter to $8,000-$8,200 with the chance 40%-50%. Mind the bears the volume is weak, keeping underwater orders is not a bad decision. also keep watching BTC vs Altcoins, a double play is preferable. further, stop-limit is recommended. However, this is not trading advice. this is for experienced players or light orders.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin never reaches a new ATH? on: December 28, 2019, 12:33:54 PM
Confidence will take time to return. after the 2014 crash, it took over 1 year to reach the bottom, and another 2 years to get back to the ATH. once that milestone was passed, things went into overdrive and BTC went from $1,000 to $19,500 in less than a year. Nobody knows what will happen but this looks to be just part of the boom bust cycles bitcoin has been experiencing since the beginning. you should have seen the insights and rhetoric thrown around when bitcoin dropped from $1,200 to $180. Not everyone is an investor with short time horizons that trade emotionally.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin goal million dollars on: December 28, 2019, 11:48:03 AM
I spend a lot of my time observing the market even though I do not have much bitcoin, and I am very confident that it will penetrate a million dollars in the coming years.
Bitcoin is a new category of money, and one with absolute scarcity, and I think that's how people need to think about it. I don't know how much gold there is the ground, but I know how much bitcoin there is, and in a few years there will be 500 million people trying to get their hands on it. also there are 250 trillion investments around the world and if only 4% comes to bitcoin it would put the value at $500,000 easily. thereby I would say yes, it's a possibility, But I assume that all world governments don't band together to end it or something like that.
