1801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: August 14, 2018, 11:58:39 PM
If there's a study made about the links between gambling, loneliness and dissatisfaction then there maybe a link between those 3. They interviewed real people with experience, they can't just choose random people and publish their observation. The results of their observation has basis while ours are just opinions and also stories on what we heard or shared to us. in my case I don't gamble because I am lonely is dissatisfied with what I am doing with my life. I simply just wan't to play to be entertained. Most of the time I come with friends so I scratch the loneliness reason there for me.
1802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling- Believe in Strategy or Luck on: August 14, 2018, 11:48:31 PM
Gambling is relay with both these things. Strategy and Luck.

Here I want to know which one is best in your belief. Please share your thoughts guys.

I believe in betting we can work around with tactics and it will be best option to make money out with gambling.

For dice roll, slot roll and poker games we definetely need the luck as a main factor.
Depends on what kind of game you play. If its a dice game where you press a button and wait for a result, then you need luck only, strategy will not work on dice games. If its a card game like poker, you need both Strategy and Luck because you can bluff your way to win in a card game or simply wait for a nice card to win the game.
1803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale and Roulette on: August 14, 2018, 11:38:14 PM
Hi guys is there anyone knowing anything about Martingale strategy? I'm new on it and i'd like to start to use it in online roulettes. Do u think that it worth trying using it if my budget is roughly 2k£? I found this guide https://casino.guru/roulette-scam-strategies and they say it's better not to use it; but i have friends who won real money thanks to that.
Can anyone giving me any further info about? Thanks very much  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley
I wouldn't even think of using that strategy in any type of game. There was a thread about Martingale strategy and you can read from there different experience of different gamblers who tried to use Martingale strategy in different games. Bottom line, it didn't work. They ended up losing. Remember, it's a game of chance, no strategy can beat that or else it will be a game of strategies.
1804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term investment. on: August 10, 2018, 02:07:37 PM
in my opinion it's not effective, it's better to make short-term investments / trading in some altcoins to get profits, waiting is something tiring, so trading every day will be more fun.
If you don't believe in long term investment then you don't believe in how Bitcoin rise from how many dollars only and climb to $19,500 last December. There's a lot of people who benefited in long term holding and enjoyed the fruits of their discipline.
1805  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade? on: August 10, 2018, 09:26:45 AM
Day traders risk a lot now - the market situation changes so fast that you can be simply not in time to complete the operation you start. It will be better if you hold your crypto.
That's the whole point of day trading. Take advantage of the market when the price changes instantly. If you chose a coin that moves sideways within the day, most likely you will not earn a lot from that, so you chose the one that is active and  and has high volume so you can take advantage of the price surges. Once it reaches your target, Sell.
1806  Economy / Marketplace / Re: A tool to avoid scammers on: August 10, 2018, 08:12:57 AM
I don't think there's another community, site or blog that can beat Bitcointalk.org in terms of educating people on whats a scam and whats not. We have a lot of helpful members here who shares their experience with different sites and shares their knowledge. I myself don't recommend other sites to newbies, just Bitcointalk and nothing else.
1807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale and Roulette on: August 09, 2018, 11:47:33 PM
There was a long discussion about martingale and you can find it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=610339.0
There you will see comments about their experience on using it in different kind of games. Some claims it works, but some also says its not. I tried it as well but it didn't work for me. There is no such thing as strategy in online gambling because if there's a loophole, for sure site owners and developers will find it and fix it.
1808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am sure Bitcoin Will go $50,000 End of this year because of ETF! on: August 09, 2018, 11:37:51 PM
While everyone will surely rejoice if Bitcoin price hits $50,000 USD this year, we still need to accept the fact that there's a lot of factors that affects BTC price. If history repeats it self it is possible to hit $50,000 USD, what happened last year may not happen this year because of different factors. There maybe new issues that can surface anytime. Sites that will be hacked that can also affect the price of BTC.
1809  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Today $150 loss from storm coin in binance , now what i will do? please help on: August 09, 2018, 11:19:23 PM
You have to prepare your self on this kind of market behavior. Sometimes your investment will be cut down to 50% but there are times your investment can double up to 100% but in times when your investment is slashed down to almost half, try to sell a portion of your invested funds in another coin with potential or better yet, keep holding till the price recovers.
1810  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin again 6k$..... on: August 09, 2018, 10:49:26 PM
The price is based on supply and demand so obviously the value will be always volatile and that is the reason why we should just hold our coins and do not sell it immediately.
It has always been based on the law of supply and demand but also the law of supply and demand is affected with the market trends because there are people who decides to sell due to certain reasons like sudden Government regulation, that will affect the price and force the it to go down, but if a group of people buys the coins because the price is low, then it will create a sudden demand which will help the price to go up.
1811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should buy altcoin now? on: August 09, 2018, 07:47:19 PM
If you have an alt coin today, I would rather hold on to it for now since the market is bearish and we may see the price of Altcoin and Bitcoin to continue to slide down. If you have extra funds that ready for disposal, I would buy more and I would place that card somewhere safe. If price continues to go up, buy altcoins and proceed with caution as you may want Buy more rather than Sell some.
1812  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW TO GET INSTANT PROFIT FROM TRADING? on: August 09, 2018, 07:33:23 PM
There is no such thing as instant profit in trading unless you have an inside information on what coin will be added in the list. I would suggest that whatever coin or token you selected, make sure that you have made a comparison on the price last week and price today, check technical analysis and google for any news about a particular person.
1813  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it the time BTC grow up again ? on: August 09, 2018, 07:22:52 PM
Unfortunately, with the delay of SECs decision in ETF and the upcoming Chinese Ghost month, expect for the price of Bitcoin to continue to go down. On the ghost month, the one who still follows this will decide on any event to prevent any loses
1814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to trade through a Broker on: August 09, 2018, 07:13:30 PM
A broker contact me online and asked me whether I am interested in trading online. He will manage my account and put his knowledge to make me profit but in return I have to send me 25% of profit that he made.
Lets put it this way, would you entrust your hard earned money lets say $50,000 USD to a random person who knocked to your door out from no where offering you an investment scheme that promises 25% profit? If this guy is well known, and has established reputation in trading maybe I will have my second thoughts, but if not, I wouldn't even entertain the idea.
1815  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep all crypto in trading platforms or wallets? on: August 09, 2018, 09:36:03 AM
The problem with keeping your cryto assets in trading platforms is there's a risk of losing you assets due to hacking. However, you will lose the chance to earn if you see an opportunity. I've been in this situation before when I found out that a coin will be listed on another trading platform, so there's a chance that the price of that coin will go up, but I can't buy because I don't have extra funds available.
1816  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Holds Above $6k on: August 09, 2018, 08:28:00 AM
We are at the point of $6,300 right now which is very disgusting and not expected, I just don't know what is happening with this market last days, I have lost almost 50% of my portfolio recently.
Expect the price to slide further as we approach the Chinese Ghost Month which starts from August 11 until September 9. Chinese traders will stop making business decisions during those period. Last year when Chinese Ghost Month started, its a blood bath all over but price slowly recovers after that festival. Its good if you have extra funds, because you can buy cheap coins then sell few weeks after the festival.
1817  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂CASINO/12 COINS AVAILABLE 🎁28 BILLION BETS PROMO🎁 on: August 09, 2018, 07:30:11 AM
Problem is when the Telecommunication Companies starts blocking them in complaint with the Government regulation not to allow online gambling. In my country theres a new regulation about online gambling but so far online casinos like Bitsler and other sites with the same business are not the target "yet".
1818  Other / Meta / Re: Merrit? This got to be a joke. on: August 09, 2018, 07:12:10 AM
I see alot of people selling there merrit to whoever wants it, is this even legit?
How many is "a lot of people" because its very seldom that I see someone posting merits for sale. It maybe offered from social media like Facebook but one way or the other those merit sellers will be caught and account will be banned. There are merit abuser hunters here and those who tries to do so will be caught eventually.
1819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: buy some, sell some, and hold some on: August 09, 2018, 02:57:07 AM
when you do trading, do you always think about this, "buy some, sell some, hold some."
This is a good strategy once you hit your target, lets say you Sell 40% of what you bought that hit your target then hold the remaining 60%. If price continues to climb, Sell the 30%, then hold the remaining 30%. At least if anything bad happens with the price like it suddenly dropped, you we're able to Sell 70% of what you bought and you we're able to Sell it with profits.

Even when you we're not able to hit your target and the price continues to slide, you can Sell some so you can buy another coin with potential. That way you will still have a chance to earn profits on your new investment.
1820  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Bitcoin is pretty easy on: August 08, 2018, 11:59:54 PM
Easier said than done. It takes more than chosing a coin or token to put your money and wait for it to grow. Its noy like that. You need to check price history and development. Check also the people behind the project if there are really a group of people behind it. Next is if the project is really feasible or if its a good project.
