The issue: "An error has occured - You have reached the maximum number of free on-blockchain transactions for today. Do you wish to add a 0.0001 BTC fee to proceed? (This fee does not go to Coinbase.)" The answer from Coinbase: Thanks for contacting us about this, and my apologies for the inconvenience. This error will show if your account sends more than 25 transactions a day. This is a recent change which explains why you had not seen the error before. Moving forward, transaction fees will have to be added after 25 transactions per day.

I tried to use Coinbase too, I've trying for two whole days already, but always failed. I downloaded the "Master" version/branch of the script, but I always got a blank page, and I found it is caused from the "CoinbaseWalletProvider.php" file, once I removed the code "require_once 'WalletProviders/CoinbaseWalletProvider.php';" from "core.php", the site running good, but I could not use Coinbase though I set everything correct in the "config.php". I tried with "Blockchain" version/branch of the script as well, everything is running well, but I could not use Coinbase as well though I set everything correct in the "config.php". PS: I tested with Blockchain, everything is running well. But I want to use Coinbase. Any idea how to fix it? Thanks in advance. Hi I dont know.. For me is working fine .. I want to thank you for making everyone whole on this, but what are you able to do to keep it from happening over and over? It looks like your host just shut you down instead of working to resolve it. Is this going to continue happening?
Well of course we hope it won't keep happening! Our hosting providers are now in the process of moving our servers to a different datacentre which will provide full DDOS protection. This is in addition to the DDOS protection we already have had in place through Cloudflare. However we are getting close to the limits of what we can possibly do to prevent this, given the resources and budget that we have. This server move is going to take a little bit longer so please bear with us. We share everyones frustration with all this, clearly someone has a problem with Mellow Ads! Although given the nature of the email we received it seems this time at least to be just an attempt to extort money from us. I'm just curious (if is not a big secret): what are your server specifications? |

seems yes ... too bad. I can see that the problem here is not purely of due to a lack of interest. You see, I can imagine that in order to create a faucet, you'd need to install a bitcoin wallet on the server which also hosts the Wordpress platform. Most wordpress sites you see run on a shared host, or on some other kind of business hosting running on a control panel, rarely on dedicated servers except for the big sites. Perhaps if you can modify the plugin to be a social locker (tweet/like to get btcs), bitcoin-related blogs would be much interested. No need to install any bitcoin wallet. In our case it should use Blocktrail to send payments. |
