1801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 06, 2022, 09:41:31 PM
Manchester united lost to Aston Villa surprisedly today. The first half was entertaining but the red devils failed to convert their chances to goal scoring. The game ended 3-1 with the villans not giving up on anything. Rather it's home game and Villa needed the winning points in other to claim upward on the table. The looks on Erik ten hag is not funny as he's unhappy with the results, but I trust united to bounce back with good winning in their next game before the world cup.
I do not think it was surprisingly, it was a woeful performance right from the kick off, with poor performances being rewarded by ETH again this season. Eriksen and Donny came off an awful europa league performance to drop a stinker again today in the EPL. Also, Manchester united missed bruno fernandes, anthony and Sancho. I believe the bounce back is near
There is no doubt they will bounce back after this big defeat against a team which is struggling and near to relegation zone but here we have to talk about Ten Haq has to change his strategy and keep going with players which are doing good because if you are going to change players and strategy in every match then surely you have to face consequences of these as well there was good chance for them to have positive result and better end in this match, but they were completely awful and fail to have any positive result in second half while they were dominating in this half against home side.

Injuries problem is also hurting but still they have few quality players those can do good as replacement, but things like these every time you have new strategy for every match is surely not going to work for them, they have to keep going with positive way for this season.
1802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leaving your coins on exchanges on: November 06, 2022, 06:25:22 PM
I used to be a person who was very confident in excahges, but after seeing that the best exchanges like Binance were really kneeling before governments and police worldwide, this thing of being trusted in them happened to me and I really don't see sure that someone would leave their coins there, neither in Binaance nor in any exchange, for me the safest thing will always be a wallet and sometimes a ledger, the security for our money I think it would represent everything, there is nothing else that can represent more security, it even seems to me safer than a bank, a bank can be corrupt at any time and what you can suffer from is as a citizen.
We are all like that by the time we are still a beginner. We don't care about leaving funds on the exchange or if what type of wallet we are using but what important for us is that we can do a trade or invest but eventually we found out that it was not a good thing to do but it's always safe to pull out fund on the exchange or to the wallet which doesn't let you hodl your private keys with you.

The way you store your money will represent if how careful you are. That's kinda true. Security is important here and should come first because what we are dealing here is money. Not just a small amount because the potential of cryptos are very big.
1803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which has better odds, lottery, online gambling, or sports betting? on: November 06, 2022, 05:26:51 PM
Sports betting has higher odds so many of us choose it. But to be able to get the victory we want, there are several things we need to pay attention to, especially how we can analyze each team that will compete. This is where we can test our skills; if we can do it, our chances of winning are getting bigger.

Usually, people will choose sports betting that they already know so that it will not give difficulties in choosing the team or players. They will also not take too long to analyze because they may have followed his journey.
High odd means something is unlikely to happen but I think sportsbetting aren't like that. Many choose sports because they think it's easy to win on it. Which only mean that sports has a lower odds than those lottery and other casino games but odds in sports are also changing, yet it doesn't affect the decision of the bettor if he is sure about his skills.

Losing is still inevitable so no matter how sure we are with our picks, there will be times that we will still lose. I am not a fan of sportsbetting so I don't really care even if this is the people's choice. I am just playing gambling for fun anyway and we will only enjoy in the games that we are more familiar with.
1804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metaverse in 2022, which projects are value to invest? on: November 05, 2022, 09:33:52 PM
A crypto portfolio without metaverse projects is incomplete, that's why I choose very active metaverse projects in the space like Victoria VR, Everdome, Metahero. You have to be very careful around metaverse projects, this utility is the next big thing in the crypto space and that's why scammers will come up with attractive metaverse projects too only to be abandoned later.
I don't think they are good candidates for long term investment. I don't see any good Metaverse projects that already have their token either. I think we are still in very early stages of Metaverse and until there is a consensus on the protocol I don't think any of these coins have holding value for the future. You can always look out for pump & dump and make quick bucks with them but I don't see any of them stay alive after for example ten years.
Yeah they are not and if you check what the op have said, he also think that metaverse can do well in 2022 because they are hot last year but I don't really see that now. Once there is a new thing that will come into this space, then I think that should put an end to the metaverse but many metaverse projects do have their own tokens.

Axs, mana, sand, are a few example however like I said earlier, they are not really doing well. Pump and dump on the other hand are direct to the point because this is where they build at. If you don't want to waste time waiting then this types of coins can fit on you better but you should be aware that they are highly risky.
1805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi Needs to Reveal His Identity ? on: November 05, 2022, 08:40:31 PM
For every human motion, I suppose there must be a substantial reason behind it.
Let's ask ourselves why would Satoshi reveal his identity.
Does Satoshi have to prove that the Bitcoin he created hasn't proved that it is possible to achieve a true peer-to-peer decentralized digital form of money?

I have seen a lot of people talking about this topic and I don't it should be our priority when there are a lot of things on the Bitcoin network that should be our priority, not Satoshi's identity.
I don't think btc has an issue. If you mean about its volatility, then it wasn't an issue either but it's an advantage. If it's about the energy concerns well those people who claim btc isn't friendly to the environment are only hyping it. Regulations isn't also needed since btc is supposed to be decentralized. Other than that, I can't think of any.

Maybe people think that those problems will be solved once btc appeared or he can at least defend his invention and there will be no more negative talks after it but there will also be people that will worry if what can happen next. Maybe satoshi will be threatened out or what if he will sell most of his coins? Something like that.
1806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what you think of this altcoin for 2025 on: November 05, 2022, 05:31:22 PM
When Luna collapsed the previous position was ranked 8th, ranking and marketcap never guaranteed safe, always alert is the best thing so we don't regret it, if there is a coin that we hold and drop more than 5% a day then always observe and immediately take decisions or sell before losing bigger.
Agree CMC is only a reference to see the trading performance of a coin not to determine whether they are good and safe as an option, even almost all altcoins are not safe to choose because all are at risk, developers may dumb away the coins they hold or leave the project without you being clear about the continuation of its development
But a 5% drop in a day is still quite reasonable in my opinion which is dangerous if the decline reaches tens of percent in a day it's a bad sign and maybe the holder is a little too late to sell it.
Regarding Op's question, it's quite strange because even altcoins are hard to predict in the short term let alone the long term, and the question was made in 2021 where if he realized it would be a good time to sell the altcoins he held
If the coin is at the top ranks then their performance is also great. It's okay to ride on them but we should be aware that their rankings are not fixed so we should watch out for what can happen on our coin. We need to sell and replace them if necessary and we need to check cmc again if what coins are performing better.

5% drop might still be fine but we shouldn't wait before it is already too late but if we think the drop is already grow huge then I think much better if we will just hodl and pray and maybe there are miracles that can happen than completely selling it at a loss. Op's goal is for 2025 not 2021, that is why he didn't sold his coin's.
1807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A disheartening true life winning story on: November 05, 2022, 04:41:31 PM
Even though lets talk not only limited on gambling sites or platforms but also in exchanges as well.We know that being decentralized is good but there are things which we do actually need for us to be convenient and
easy access on some certain things which we can only find on centralized platforms which its no surprise that it is really getting more users and been preferred compared over security.
We cant deny nor ignore that fact which it is something that we do really need to realize.

Back on topic which getting some legal actions towards these companies about not on paying your winning then it would really be just worth on doing so.
As long you do have the evidences and the winning amount is just worth for you to fight on then dont really be afraid.
If only in terms of convenience then decentralized platforms can win because there is no sign up functions on them or KYC but you can just connect your wallet, verify the connection and you're good to go. It is also more safer because once we are done, we can disconnect our wallet along with our funds. Not unlike to a centralized platform where it's possible for users to leave their funds there and what if the platform turn into a scam later on? Or what if they will be hacked?

You will easily lose your funds that way. On topic, the excuse made by the lottery company looks so funny. Wipe out? When the results are already out in public. The guy can easily win the case as long as he have the winning ticket.
1808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 04, 2022, 09:04:11 PM
Newzealand are into the semifinals of this T20WC and as of my understanding South Africa willl get through. The problem here was for Australia and according to the NRR they have -0.173 that means they will not qualify considering the NRR of England which is + 0.547. What England needs to do is win tomorrow's match which is against  Srilanka.

Unfortunately it would not be easy for the English to win that match. Srilanka is struggling with its bowling attack. If they win tomorrow then the permutation & combination will change drastically. I think they shouldn't be worried as they have a good indepth batting line-up and their bowlers have been consistent lately.
Now it's all on weather if we have complete match then most chances we will be able to have England in semifinal and if case of rain then surely Australia could be beneficiary of this all because in last five matches England never lost against Sri Lanka and as we are watching Sri Lankan are struggling in Australia they have no fair chance to win this match and England will be ended with second in this group and in last four they are going to face India which could be interesting match even I am favoring to India which is currently having good results in last few matches, and they are capable of winning this trophy without any big challenge even we have two good teams which are also having good results in last few matches, but quality is favoring India.
1809  Other / Archival / Re: I don't want to buy cheap bitcoins, I want to buy expensive ones on: November 04, 2022, 06:52:31 PM
I wonder how much longer it will take for people to realize that low prices are a CHANCE to buy, not some kind of disappointment. Instead of taking this chance, they are burying bitcoin. Instead of taking profits or enjoying an increase in the value of their assets, they start buying. They buy at the top of the market, and then they say that bitcoin is a pyramid scheme and a scam. Now I am talking to some people IRL, who are also interested in cryptocurrencies.

I ask: Have you already bought bitcoin?
Answer: No. I'll wait until he recovers.
There must be changes. I don't think all of those people will keep will never learn on their mistakes and will accept to lose money forever but there's no exact time frame if how long they will realize it because there is no way to tell if when will the bear and the bull will come but they will realize it once they witness this two cycle. If you are surveying people about this and you found out that their answer is wrong, you should try to help them correct it.

I know you might think that they will hate you because that was their money anyway but there must be people that are welcome for any advices and you will be surprised that they will thank you for this.
1810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io 🏏 Men's T20 World Cup 2022 🏏 Discussion thread on: November 04, 2022, 06:11:04 PM
In this world cup, there were quite a few occasions where smaller teams such as Afghanistan and Ireland took the match to the very last ball against stronger teams, but didn't managed to win it in the end. When Mohammad Nabi got out, they were struggling at 103/6. And this is when Rashid Khan came to bat. He just battered the Australians left, right and center. Kane Richardson will be having nightmares for at least a couple of weeks from now. But even after all that, Australia walked away with the match. It was so close, yet so far for Afghanistan.
This is definitely the biggest change in this game with this format happening because in ODI and Test this was not happening as this was needed but T20 format bring good positive development, and we can expect unusual results and upsets which will bring entertainment for millions and this market could be spread as it's needed.

Zimbabwe beats Pakistan and England lost against Ireland with today we have result in last two balls in match which was playing between defending Champions Australia and minor like Afghanistan is surely good even now we are heading for end of this event with few controversies but still it's a good and franchise cricket can give a good development for many players and countries which are looking for better future in this game in coming years.
1811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 04, 2022, 02:54:51 PM
The Premier League is currently moving in an increasingly interesting direction, with Arsenal and Man City vying for first place while Arsenal continues to lead the table. Tomorrow is actually a relaxing weekend with only about 5 matches, but the standout ones include Man City's match against Fulham, Wolverhampton's match against Brighton, and another match between Everton and Leicester City. Everyone is aware of Man City's style of play and their desire to maintain a successful record.
There is no doubt now we are heading for 14th round which mean things looking more solid and teams adjustment giving them good dividend even few are still struggling badly like Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United which are looking for top ranks and things are not looking easy for them because many teams are already developing good squads and their quality is also impressive which are working for them specially Newcastle United which is currently fourth and surprise package for this season.

At the bottom we are also having interesting things like Leicester City and Wolves are in relegation zone and trying to survive which is looking not easy for them because all teams are on good run and space is not available for them to have positive results.
1812  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurs vs Solopreneurs on: November 03, 2022, 09:01:41 PM
According to Merriam-Webster, a solopreneur is “one who organizes, manages, and assumes the risks of a business or enterprise without the help of a partner.” While an entrepreneur is one who organizes, manages, and assumes the risks of a business or enterprise without the help of a partner. I would consider most social media influencers on Tik-Tok, Instagram, Twitter etc as solopreneurs. In addition, Solopreneurs often run service-based businesses, like freelancing, consulting or web development. From my observations, we have seen the rise of solopreneurs in especially among Gen Z's in recent times. In fact it has been more satisfying watching these youngsters attain financial freedom earlier and quicker than it used to be.
Gen-Z are lucky to have a cheap resource such as smartphones which can help them become solopreneurs at an early age. It's nice to know that many of them spend their time in this activity rather than wasting their time on things which are not really beneficial to them like partying, watching a movie and playing video games.

You think all influencers are solopreneurs because you are seeing them solo in live but there are influencers who made a confession in which they hired editors and maybe some hired researchers and they are the only ones that will deliver it. I think those types of influencers are not called solopreneurs anymore.

But let's get down to business lol... the new 50% cashback, it doesn't seem to explain quite well in the games and rounds thread. It says, if you win you win, if you lose, you get cash back.

So is it actually 50% lossback then and not a rakeback? And do you have to wager ALL the deposit to try? Smiley
Yes it's definitely a loss back. I’ve got confused too on the mechanics but one thing is clear, You can only get the lossback if you loss 100% of your deposit. You can’t get the bonus if you still have balance left on the original balance. And also all the bonus earnings is included on the amount needs to be zero to get the loss back which means a whale should be broke completely before this bonus will trigger.

This is good as insurance and to let the whales play a little bit careless due to the lossback. Nice tactic.
I am not sure if you have to "lose 100%" but more like have to wager it, consider it like you are getting some rollover for welcome bonus type of deal. You may still end up with a win in the end, but if you lost enough along the way then you will get a reward, but if you lose more and more then you get more back, because someone who lost 90% of their deposit and someone who lost 10% of their deposit won't get the same loss back.

There is a difference between cashback and lossback, cashback depends on how much you wagered, and lossback depends on how much you lost, but this doesn't mean it should be 100% lost to get something, right? That’s what I thought was the situation about.
1814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you get over a bad loss? on: November 03, 2022, 06:09:41 PM
What's your favorite thing to do when you get a bad loss?
When I make a bad loss (big loss) I try to read novels/watch movies and/or I try to take a rest. I stop playing/gambling for a few days/weeks/months and I try to restart playing after several days/weeks/months. And I continue playing until I make another big loss on another gambling/casinos.
Reading novels seriously? I think this one needs imagination but it's hard to do that when your mind is still occupied with a bad a loss which you got earlier but maybe watching movies can be doable since you are already seeing the visuals in your screen. Taking a rest is also one of the things that is hard to do when your mind is not yet in the mood but it can be possible once you are done watching a good movie since your mind will now think of that movie and you start to forget about your bad loss.

It makes sense to quit for a while because your budget for the week/month is already used up but some addict gamblers will look for ways to obtain money to play gambling again. Let's hope we don't lead there.
1815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 02, 2022, 08:51:43 PM
The contribution that already made by messi to the PSG was so big. So many clubs are seeing it as opportunity even though his age is not young anymore. That's why some clubs have been declared if they might be interested if messi will be leaving from PSG with free transfer status.
Barcelona has no more solution for funding. It has been facing financial problem and it will not able to bring back messi to the camp nou. the chance is very small to make it happen. Barcelona has been selling lots of its shares to buy players last season
Barcelona has nothing to be sold for the upcoming season. that's why barcelona is only looking for cheap players. messi has a very expensive salary.
You're right, especially for now Messi doesn't show the slightest interest in returning to Barcelona. Regardless of the background be it financial or not but I appreciate what Messi does. He has the right to determine his club at the end of the world cup later. As a club that has benefited a lot from the presence of Messi, PSG will definitely insist on offering anything and with an increase in salary so that Messi can stay. Big clubs still believe that Messi's age is not a barrier for them to continue to ask for it.
Most chances Barcelona and Messi is just going to be engaged in rumors and media in reality they are not going to have any future because things looking not good in Barcelona with huge debit and other many factors are also involved, and Messi age factor is also coming even he still can play for next three to four years with his fitness level and quality of the game but still its never been suitable for both parties to have any relationship because now it's time for looking into future instead of going into past which already ended with a bad note.

Xavi is also trying to adjust things which help them for having positive results and bright future, so most chances he will also not take any chance to have Messi back in his team as many new young players are doing good in current time.
1816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which has better odds, lottery, online gambling, or sports betting? on: November 02, 2022, 08:03:33 PM
Because I am a sports lover, I think Sports betting is the best among them.
Although there is no certainty regarding the percentage to win, sports betting seems a bit easier as long as we know the sports field well.
Especially for people who have favorite sports, betting on sports will be a fun activity. And it won't be difficult to determine the bet since they are familiar with the sports matches, the teams, and the rules.

Lottery is the hardest one.
In my opinion, the chance to win in Lottery is very small. We purely rely on luck playing the Lottery.
The predictability of the game will usually depend on the odds. Even if you and many others think that sports betting is more easier as it can be based on experience and knowledge, there are still odds that you can see on your screen. In lottery there are also different modes on them.

There are lower digit games which odds are much lower than the standard 6 digit games which means this is more winnable. The only downside about low odd games is that the profit that you can win is also low. Overall, gambling must be played only for fun so we can disregard the odds part but it's only important to play the game where we always enjoy the most.
1817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stage on: November 02, 2022, 07:28:04 PM
Even though Barcelona won their match against Viktoria Plzen, they still had to say goodbye to the Champions League and welcome to the Europa League. This season is said to be quite difficult for Barcelona, which has exhausted many changes to the squad with the purchase of players and has been suppressed by a deteriorating economy, but in fact, the goddess of fortune has not been able to show confidence in this club to remain in the prestigious league.
This is like repeating last season's failure and again having to settle for competing in the Europa League, but can they do better this time in the Europa League? get to the final
Europa, or for that matter neither champions league nor even conference league, is not something that is straight forward like "win games and get the cup" because even best teams could end up losing. It could change all within span of few minutes, remember last year’s Madrid vs City game? On 86th minute Grealish missed a chance to score by inches, in the next 5 minutes or so Real came back from behind and won.

That’s the type of thing that you need to be careful about in these competitions and even the biggest teams could lose games within just a few minutes. I am guessing that Barcelona will try their best, and maybe they will win the cup, but it will not be that easy just because they are better than everyone else.
1818  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn from cryptocurrency as a starter? on: November 02, 2022, 06:58:22 PM
Trading is one of the most risky apsect of cryptocurrency investments. Its a part that isn't meant for beginners to just jump in but, how do you eliminate tha if you don't try?
I guess that's why we've got demo trading. It's one way to learn. You read, watch educational contents and you practice. Practice on a demo trade until you come up with something or some strategy that you are sure works. Then you could think of going lice and there, yiu learn to control your emotions.

Still, trading isn't always the best part start for a beginner but, you could always buy ad hold for a long time. The idea of profiting right away would get your loses.
They say that more risk is equals to more reward. That can also define trading. Anyone can learn it even the newbies and as long as they will follow all the steps carefully, they can become a good trader later on. Many says that investing is less risky.

It is true but despite of it, a lot of people are still losing huge on it. Sometimes there is nothing wrong about choosing between investing and trading but it will mostly matter on the person that is doing it. If they are not taking things seriously then it's always possible for them to lose even if they already choose investing and other ways to earn a crypto which are known to have a less risk.
1819  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does everyone want to trade? on: November 01, 2022, 08:59:49 PM
Trading is not meant for everyone, when we had of trading it sounds so easily to earing but sometimes very difficult to comprehend and deal with why because many people focuses their efforts on making profits and becoming rich over night without knowing that there are more to know and to risk.
In Binary trading, it deals with prediction somehow looking gaming maybe you could say bitcoin price will gets to $21k within 1 day or 2 days or so, and if it happens so then you are sure for gain or profits, this could only happens when you have enough equity otherwise your trades might terminate along the line if it goes against your predictions.
My advice to anyone going into trading is; they should go for information reads lots of material and practice with little amount, possibly what they can afford to lose than going to take a loan from any financial institution.
But, there are no people which are born with existing trading skills on them so therefore everyone can learn trading as long as they are willing. Not that it sounds easy but trading is really easy, it's only about buying and selling but people are only complicating things because they play with different tools before they make a trade but there are other forms of trading which are only built for a more advance user and one of it is like you said binary trading.

Next in the list would be leverage trading. Taking a loan and using that loan in trading is not recommended and I think even the pro traders still avoid it. It would be better if we will only trade using our own money.
1820  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on: November 01, 2022, 09:29:54 AM
Can bitcoin go down to 10k$ this year. The fluctuation of the crypto space now is dragging the coin, and I think is still going down more before it can regain it strength. So can it still go down or rise back to 60k$ this year? Let discuss
No one can answer your 2 questions correctly and you don't have to search. The question for you is do you believe in bitcoin?, do you believe it will recover again? If you can answer these 2 questions then start buying bitcoin and just hold on to it, you will get well deserved rewards. It doesn't matter if bitcoin will continue to rise or fall, what matters is how much bitcoin you have to prepare for the upcoming bull season.
Why not? It's not wrong to gave out an answer based only on what we think and there's no hard feelings for the op if that answer isn't accurate because we are only predicting on here. Majority of us here believes in bitcoin but we can't help but to speculate if the price are going to dump more or to pump before the year ends.

The rise of fall in btc price actually matters because how can we accumulate more coins if btc won't dump? And how can sell the coins that we bought if btc didn't rise? But, before I forgot, my response to the op's question is I don't think we will see $10k. a $60k recovery is also hard. I think we can only see $25k up to $35k max which was still decent.
