It also appears to be actively advertising itself on Google by the "mixtum" keyword.
You can Report phishing to Google, but from my experience they don't seem to care much (while they earn from it).

I insist we will use escrow service from a reputable member on the forum.
I want to confirm here that agentF is serious. I'm currently holding funds for his other job in escrow.
18003  Other / Meta / Re: Different IP Login on: August 19, 2019, 04:36:16 PM
To me personally I see people using proxy IP as tricky and unreliable. Mostly used by scammers.
You know satoshi always used Tor to protect his privacy, right? Being anonymous doesn't make good people unreliable, just like using a real IP-address doesn't make bad people good.
18004  Other / Meta / Re: @small improvement request. In merited posts, show your name in red or bold or.. on: August 19, 2019, 03:43:17 PM
I like your suggestion! I sometimes Merit a thread again even though I've already Merited it, when I realize I only sent 1 or 2 Merit the first time, and OP has been updating the topic for many months. I tend to easily overlook threads like this, while I Merit new threads more often.
Highlighting my own name looks useful Smiley

Alternatively the meriters could be listed alphabetically. That way it would be a bit easier to find your name if it is on the list.
The current sorting priority is:
1. Most Merit first
2. Oldest account first
2. First Meriting user first (thanks akhjob)
I don't think this should change.
18005  Other / Meta / Re: Flags and Negative trust update suggestion ⬛ on: August 19, 2019, 02:59:14 PM
My concern would be that highlighting them in such a fashion might give users the mistaken impression that they're maybe urgent or high-priority messages that are important to read.  If anything, suspicious threads should have visibly less attention drawn to them.
My thoughts exactly!

Perhaps something more in the style of users on your ignore list?
And you can do that without changes from Admin: See all current flags, and ignore all users who you think deserve it.

I would exclude altcoin bounty section from Recent Posts on home page of forum,
as I noticed that most of recent posts are from that section.

You can ignore those boards to make them disappear. That also makes Show unread posts since last visit. much more useful. I block many boards on my mobile, but I don't want to block them on my desktop. The result is that I find threads on mobile that I overlooked on my desktop.

I don't want to open one more Topic that will simply fall into oblivion,
so if there is some better place for posting this suggestion, I can send it there.

But isn't Bitcointalk wary of IP changing?
It gets logged, but won't restrict you.
18007  Other / Meta / Re: Different IP Login on: August 19, 2019, 01:33:42 PM
Can I login Bitcointalk account at the same time from two different country IP or proxy with different country?
Yes.
18008  Other / Meta / Re: DT1 with zero or neutral trust on: August 19, 2019, 01:16:49 PM
Still, I do understand where you're coming from, seems pretty logical at first glance to require DT1 members to have positive trust.
In that case, the requirement shouldn't bee based on positive trust from other DT-members, but from members with a certain amount of Merit or Activity, kinda like the current DT1-voting.
Ideally it should be based on feedback from DT-members, but those are too volatile. That's why Merit or Activity could work. However, if you're basing DT-status on feedback earned, negative feedback should get a vote too. And that makes DT vulnerable for manipulation. So it's probably best not to change anything. It's up to the users to trust/include users without feedback and put them on DT1.
18009  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk data on: August 19, 2019, 12:16:15 PM
I guess this data thread of loyce will give you an idea Viewing unedited posts and deleted posts

Or you can ask or request to him for such stat.
I'm currently just scraping the data, without uploading. Once it's working again I can quite easily produce this data. Just ask me in a month or so, when I have more complete data to work with.
18010  Other / Meta / Re: Limit signature campaigns on: August 19, 2019, 11:39:10 AM
Since LoyceV also quoted your reply I will use him as an example. He has a thread that he bumps when Bitcoin fees are down. Today he wrote the #149th post in that thread > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2848987.msg52202706#msg52202706

If a rule like that would be implemented, his post telling users that fees are down again and they can now consolidate their inputs would not be paid but pointless comments in newly created altcoin threads discussing new moon projects would.
That's a bad example, I don't expect my bumps to be paid.
18011  Other / Meta / Re: [CLUB] The SpamBusters! First anniversary! Giveaway raffle to the members!! on: August 19, 2019, 06:26:04 AM
I sat the lowest fee possible so it may take a while
According to Bitcoin Core, it should confirm within 4 blocks. Fees are low Cheesy

The contest was to guess the price at a specific time.
You should lock (bottom-left) this thread.
18013  Other / Meta / Re: Are automated accounts allowed? on: August 18, 2019, 06:59:07 PM
If 6 threads per minute is not too much, then I'll stick to it, otherwise I'll use my original idea.
My scraper (see Viewing unedited posts and deleted posts is currently not uploading (I need some time to test it), but when it works, I could provide you with a daily snapshot of all new posts.
18014  Other / Meta / Re: Limit signature campaigns on: August 18, 2019, 05:12:06 PM
And also having rule like "Posts in a thread after 100 replies won't be counted for paid post" will bring a huge change.
You mean like this:
6. Posts in spam megathreads (based on my opinion), ~snip~ will not count.

18016  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Black market of merit!!!!!! on: August 18, 2019, 11:57:56 AM
I think any account which hasn't earned any merit in the last 12 months should lost a possibility to wear a signature. Perhaps it would contribute to a more quality posting on the forum.
That includes punishing inactive accounts, such as this one.

Any good campaign manager would still check the post quality, including the Merited posts. If the post isn't worth it, it shouldn't be counted as merited to qualify for the campaign.
How can a campaign manager judge that a comment worth a Merit or isn't if it is a subjective assessment system?
Easy: a campaign manager can do whatever he wants.

You have received suspiciously large amounts of Merit for posts that aren't worth it. I don't count that as "earned" Merit. Ending up on exactly enough Merit to become a Full Member an hour before applying doesn't help your case. Rejected.

18018  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Black market of merit!!!!!! on: August 18, 2019, 11:17:05 AM
Sometimes signature campaign managers require a minimum amount of earned merit in the last n days, but many Legendary accounts for various reasons do not match these conditions, so I do think it's possible that some Legendaries buy merit.
Any good campaign manager would still check the post quality, including the Merited posts. If the post isn't worth it, it shouldn't be counted as merited to qualify for the campaign.

I agree with this, there is many Legendary members who did not get not even one merit so far, and some campaigns requiring at least 5 merits, which is too low in my opinion.

Merits have become commodities, people are always looking for a way to bypass the system and if it is possible to earn on it. Buying / selling merits is just one way to get them, but there is not secret that some members use their alt accounts for merit exchange between them.
I've seen prices up to $20 per Merit. At that rate, it's even cheaper to hire someone to write a high quality post (with the risk of plagiarism!). I really don't get that people would rather pay that much for a single Merit than puting some effort in their posts.
18019  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Black market of merit!!!!!! on: August 18, 2019, 09:19:25 AM
I am very sorry to talk anout this but i have seen that many of hero and legendary members got merit on such shitty posts.
I highly doubt Legendary members would be buying Merit, they don't have any use for it (except for bragging rights).

To address your concern: not all merited posts are actually worth their Merit, but I'd like to believe that's only a small part of total Merit distribution.

Sometimes the database is switching the neg/neu counts, and I am not sure why.  Sad
It sounds like you made a typo somewhere.
