1821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can ETF Decision make a negative impact? on: January 08, 2019, 01:04:31 PM
Once its like other stocks, we know that there is a huge chance that the prices will shoot up like crazy.  However, after that we will see a lot of stability and this will not be very volatile like now therefore huge up and downs wont be possible and profits will not be huge (Including risks)

Is it correct? can someone please explain how does this works? Is there going be a big commission as well on each trade? is there going to be a margin? I actually dont understand this if someone can shed some light in simple terms. Thanks.

Actually volatile function movements up and down are opportunity to earn profits well risk if talking about buy and sell bitcoin traded of course need to expect the risk.
talking about ETF in my opinion there's nothing effect in bitcoin flows up or down bitcoin being decentralized crypto currency they own ability to moves itself as volitile virtual crypto currency.
1822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ETH wallet supports the upcoming hard forks? on: January 08, 2019, 04:26:11 AM
Well. MEW confirm that they only support Constantinople fork.
Hey #MEWfam! We've had a lot of users asking us about the upcoming #Ethereumfork – as always, MEW supports all official #Ethereum foundation forks, which means we are ready for #Constantinople and there is nothing you need to do to prepare!  #teamMEW

1. classic vision has no identifiable team so the project is questionable.
2. nowa has been exposed as a definite scam with shuttershock photos
3. constantinople is a real fork, but you won't get any free coins, any eth wallet is fine
Lel. So, we shouldn't expect to get free coins. Because we really won't get free coins at all from the upcoming fork.

probably you're right and i agree with you eth hardfork are suppported of any wallet where eth listed into exchange no hurt feeling for those ethereum holder's for sure there will nothing free coins from upcoming hardfork because eth is so expensive and this fork is for the ethereum correction because of a year downfall trend.
1823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a better store of value than gold on: January 08, 2019, 04:12:49 AM
Wouldn't gold's physical nature be a real weakness because it could cause a "centralization in vaults" problem? How much gold can an individual legally own and store in your homes in your country?

Then there is Bitcoin. It is virtual, and it opens a world of private key ownership, and therefore, true sovereign ownership of private property which governments cannot control.

Gold investing is also use it for fashion combination with the diamond their value was too expensive every year their price increase depends on the demands and volume from the market unlike investing of bitcoin are so very risky as virtual currency because of volatility function which not control by the government or any institution in the localities govern.
1824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: January 07, 2019, 01:54:34 PM
Great explanation and guide how to quit in gambling self discipline is the most important thing in any aspect  of goals what they want to achieve in life, people play gambling with self moderation to enjoy and relax themselves it's doesn't means is addicting.
Gambling is not bad games if gambling treated as games for fun not games for the source of income they can't goes into addicting, what do you do in your money without happiness.
1825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peoples truly believe A LOT in Bitcoin on: January 06, 2019, 11:59:50 PM
But why ? Because it's the first cryptocurrency created, and the most used in the market ? What makes you believe that Bitcoin will be the eternal king of the market, and something else won't replace it ?

I'm surprised everydays of peoples saying that "btc will be the king forever" without delivering a proper argument.
That's why I created this topic, not because I want to know "who will be the next king" or "BTC will be replaced soon", no, I want to hear a proper opinion on this matter, without some BS such as "it's the king, because it was the first". In that case, why would he's still be the "king" right now, and why would be he be in the future ?

So exactly people stay in the community because they believe bitcoin is the new world currency, in my own opinion if people still supported bitcoin treated as most potential coins to lead all altcoins in the coin market bitcoin can stay forever at their place as king of virtual crypto currency.
1826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: majority will lose money and minds on: January 06, 2019, 11:27:55 PM
The only reason why people buy bitcoin, is to make money.

It's wrong. The correct statement must be,

One of the reasons why people buy bitcoin, is to make money.

1827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is growing at nonstop rates in my country on: January 06, 2019, 10:25:54 PM
Is this an isolated phenomenon or it's just where im from? I see more and more gambling commercials, tv ads, and I see more and more gambling spots all over the streets. There were casinos before but im talking about places where people take bets usually on soccer and other sports, not a classic casino with the usual casino stuff. I see they are located near high schools too. This could cause a gambling addiction epidemic among the youth, which has a hard time making money these days and feel desperate and end up gambling whatever little they make.

I claim this cannot be a simple coincidence. The rich have always gambled, but lower end classes weren't gambling that much in the past as far as I know. There weren't definitely as many gambling spots all over the place before.

Can you tell where exact location because i am really curious, as i know only two gambling capital in the world the whole city are open for all kind of gambling in the city.
If not wrong according to the new i heard the two gambling capital city is came from asia  at china locatted  in macau and united states of america at las vegas city.
1828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does it mean to buy on the Dip? on: January 05, 2019, 08:06:46 PM
Buying during the are opportunity get profits either keep it at long term por short term hold depends on the target value desired to resell the coins investment during the price is going ti hype.
1829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Game Over for Bitcoin? on: January 05, 2019, 07:52:04 PM
Prices have been on a constant decline ever since this year began. There's been FUD all over the place, and governments have been cracking down on Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In addition, there have been several hacks which have also contributed to the decline in the value of the whole cryptocurrency market. As such, many people have lost their faith in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, as they've lost a lot of money.

Despite this, it seems that most holders would not give up on Bitcoin no matter what. But, if Bitcoin keeps declining in value until it becomes worthless, then long-time holders (like me) would become disillusioned. For those who want to protect their investment, there's the option to sell Bitcoin into USD or exchange it towards a stablecoin like Tether. However, even Tether has lost its peg (although in some occasions it heads back to $1) sometime this year, which means that not even stablecoins can be trusted.

Nonetheless, what are your thoughts about this? Will it be Game Over for Bitcoin? Or will everything go back to normal soon? Huh

I think you need to check the coin market cap at this moment bitcoin are going to game over, the market signal are clearly gives hopes from the bitcoin community back to the normal stronger currency including altcoins.
1830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some unique advantages of online gambling ? on: January 05, 2019, 06:55:32 PM
I will start with one to begin the discussion. If you are putting huge amounts at stake and want to keep identity private, online gamblign comes as a boon.
But there are instances on where you do really need to pass up KYC for some gambling sites when we are already talking about big amounts. Depositing might not be a problem or would like a breeze but when you are already withdrawing then expect problems would possibly faced on these times. Im sure that most gamblers do knows about this. The thing we do like is anonymity but instances of KYC has a chance for you to comply on some situations.

I agree with mate but can't blame the site to requiring kyc withdrawal because follow the government law against anti money laundering  law
but i really disagree on this ideas specially in bitcoin gambling because bitcoin user's.

1832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum again shows that he is the king of altcoins on the market ! on: January 04, 2019, 11:33:35 PM
Ethereum, as we all know, has been moved to the third position in the market, but at the moment capitalization:
2nd place XRP $14 528 580 508
3rd place Ethereum $14 256 585 022
There is only $ 271 995 486 left and Ethereum will be back to its rightful second place !
Do you think Ethereum guys will enter the New year as a leader ?

Surprise ethereum quick bouncing their price at coinmarketcap i have nothing doubt the stronger of ethereum in the market was still supported of the icos projects that one of the reason why ethereum is still stronger king of altcoins.
1833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The danger is the addiction, not the odds on: January 04, 2019, 10:53:08 PM
You have a point but i always tells depends on the people how gambling they treat their lives to enjoy for fun not to assume get fast earning,
if people gambling treated as job surely they goes into addiction.
1834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: January 04, 2019, 10:22:33 PM
For me nope everyone has have own mindset decision for themselves what is right and what is wrong to getting enjoy lives, gambling is not bad games depends on the people how to treat gambling if gamble treat  fun and enjoying themselves with greed control.

1837  Economy / Speculation / Re: The truth about the 20k bitcoin last year on: January 03, 2019, 10:55:30 PM
first of all bitconnect is just an exchange that turned into/rvealed itself as a scamming business.
bitconnect is not bitcoin. and bitcoin is not bitconnect.
one is code, the other is a business. they are completely different things

Face it BTC fanboys- your coin is garbage and noone can use it for anything- the only reason it had any usage was in the beginning when people used it to buy drugs on the darknet but other than that- screw bitcoin

..
now prove me wrong, lol

i personally pay my bills. buy groceries and many things with bitcoin. i have not had any FIAT worries since 2012

the problem is not bitcoin.
the problem is that people think bitcoin:
   is some AI that:
          self codes and self evolves
will visit your local grocery store and set itself up with your local shop
that is not reliant on devs to evolve.
needs to process every transaction(fud:"gigabytes by midnight") or no transactions(fud:"medium of exchange failed")).
they feel if it cant be used to buy a google ad at 0.001cent.
that bitcoin needs to be pushed to cost people $0.10-$10 and then use a different network for everything.
i personally can but coffee with bitcoin (yes people will be shocked) and no i dont need LN to do it.
and no its not due to temporary low fees allowing it.

bitcoin will not mow your lawn for you. YOU need to phone a gardener. and ASK the gardener if they will accept bitcoin
bitcoin will not buy your groceries for you. YOU need to go to your grocery store and ASK the store if they will accept bitcoin
bitcoin will not teach you about itself. YOU need to do the research and YOU need to help others to learn about it

and a big tip for many.
when you have learned a little. do not go around with fluffy cloud unicorns of over prmised over promoted things to think it will entice more people into using it. do not oversell the purpose of bitcoin. be free and liberated to also admit its flaws.
firstly it allows people to know what its really about. and if they do get into it they know they will get what they expect.
no hope no trust needed. it just does what it does.

too many go for the over optimistic hope of fluffy cloud future, which ends up frustrating more people than those who are
open to mention the critical issues.
mentioning the critical issues is good. because outside the echo chambers o fluffy clouds. may be an outsider that can see
a solution that the echochamber has ignored, not thought of. because the echo chamber is too stuck following a single path roadmap to fluffy cloud land

that's truly completely good answers from him, one thing i will share for this i don't understand for those people posting negative from bitcon without any proof of evidence and obviously bitconnect since from the start i heard is scamm exchange so theirs not credible bitcoin bring bitconnect value in the top.
1838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The VAR - Video Assistant Referee Discussion Thread on: January 03, 2019, 10:33:01 PM
@ icalical
According to many sources VAR is to be used at the AFC Asian Cup 2019 but from the quarter finals and upwards.

Regarding the Emre Can penalty, watching the video of the incident a 2nd time I am leaning even more towards that the referee made a bad decision because the Sampdoria player actually headed the ball towards his upper hand and there was no chance of him doing anything to prevent that. His only fault is the somewhat unnatural position of his arm.

Your opinion are perfectly correct i agree with you buddy, I am not a football fanatic but in my own opinion and hope do not hurt or to be offended to the referees out there any field of games, sometimes the winning of the team is on their hands, referee has power to manipulate the games to stand wrong decision.
1839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: January 03, 2019, 10:11:33 PM
I've been gambling for almost 10 years now, I used to be an addict to poker and other card games but now I do gamble Occasionally. Normally, If others heard about gambling they'll probably be saying bad things about it *which is a fact*. Though, based from my own experiences. Gambling do benefits me in a way, especially Mentally and Emotionally. Mentally, As a teenager who started to gamble at the age of 15. I don't care about losing, I don't value money. But as I grow, Gambling did really change my perspective towards money and decision making. I became more mature and I must say that I did enhance my strategic awareness. Emotionally, I must say that gambling did really control my temper. I don't why, but whenever I play poker my state of mind became so calm. Even after I lose or win I'm calm and happy. At the age of 19, I learn how to control myself. Mistakes are part of our life which really is good set back for a good comeback!.

How about you guys? What are the benefits you get from Gambling?

But, I highly suggest not to become addict to this industry.

playing gambling occasionally is good for you and for the other gambler setting greed control can help to avoiding gambling addiction, gambling is not a bad games is it's  fears excitiment games with have get benefits if the player got win.
The benefits they can receive after i play gambling even if i am a loser is the happiness i feel.

1840  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to survive on: January 03, 2019, 09:54:24 PM
Hey guys!

Just interested if you still earn any money? The situation is so horrible that it's interesting to me if someone still feels good.
Maybe you mine or you continue to invest in something.

On the whole, how to survive now? Hold, trade, sell, invest, mine?

Hold coins  they have if their price down at 50% lower than do not sell and time comes to bounce back again their price using patience surely they can survive from the trap ion trading.
Day trade is profitable investment and serous jop but i do no seen they cam help to survive trading if the market is not in better function, mining are proftable but depends on the local how much cheapper the electricity.
