I will probably remove the ANALYZER from the next version.
That was an old utility, i think nobody used it and it costs me code maintenance.
Anyone has ever used that function??

Does CAT support any kind of scripting, or is this planned? i.e. "program your own bot rules" which then gets executed by CAT.

some exchanges have very strange rules. I really don't understand why they try to add complexity to a simple things like an API Interface. Example?? Kraken : We have safeguards in place to protect against abuse/DoS attacks as well as order book manipulation caused by the rapid placing and canceling of orders.
Every user of our API has a "call counter" which starts at 0.
Ledger/trade history calls increase the counter by 2.
Place/cancel order calls do not affect the counter.
All other API calls increase the counter by 1.
The user's counter is reduced every couple of seconds, and if the counter exceeds the user's maximum API access is suspended for 15 minutes. Tier 2 users have a maximum of 15 and their count gets reduced by 1 every 3 seconds. Tier 3 and 4 users have a maximum of 20; the count is reduced by 1 every 2 seconds for tier 3 users, and is reduced by 1 every 1 second for tier 4 users.
Although placing and cancelling orders does not increase the counter, there are separate limits in place to prevent order book manipulation. Only placing orders you intend to fill and keeping the rate down to 1 per second is generally enough to not hit this limit. WFT??? I've interfaced 14 Exchanges until now (the current 12 + Cryptsy + Mintpal) and never needed to manage such condition. So, Interface C.A.T. with Kraken will costs an additional layer to calculate that rules (and these rules are dynamic based on customer tier  ) |

nella sezione internazionale un tizio mi diceva che invece potrebbe incidere il suo scam in quanto hanno rastrellato migliaia di bitcoin ed effettivamente immetterli tutti in una volta sul mercato (o con altre tempistiche) potrebbe destabilizzare notevolmente il prezzo sui vari exchange...

Ma io non credo che la gente sia così, stupida, quelli che non capiscono il ponzi e che credono veramente che non ci sia inganno saranno la minima parte.
Il Ponzi è gambling, è come andare a giocare al casinò. Questo la gente lo sa e accetta il rischio.
Anzi, i Ponzi non 100% Scam, ovvero che partono dalla base per poter pagare effettivamente i primi entrati sono molto più sicuri del gioco d'azzardo, basta entrare prima degli altri :-)

Il problema sta anche nel fatto che alla maggior parte delle persone poco frega se l'applicativo è p2p oppure c'e dietro una compagnia.
Al di là dell'esperimento, e dell'aspetto nerdoso, un conto è parlare della decentralizzazione della moneta, della proprietà della stessa e della sua creazione, un conto è parlare di un servizio.
Se ebay/amazon aprissero al BTC con pagamento diretto ob morirebbe all'istante.
Già solo il fatto che per avere un oggetto visibile sul network devi avere il tuo server acceso non è un passo avanti.....

Ho chiuso il mio server, e aspetterò di avere sotto mano tutto un altro software (se mai accadrà).
Sono molto deluso da questo progetto, o meglio, dalle aspettative e dal risultato corrente.
E' vero che lo hanno appena rilasciato ma che bisogno c'era di fare 3 beta e poi rilasciare un client come "ufficiale" se tanto funziona poco o male.
Io ho rilasciato 20 (VENTI!) versioni Beta di C.A.T. prima di osare a rimuovere la parola BETA.
OB non è neanche lontanamente vicino ad essere quello che ci si aspettava, e il malcontento sta iniziando a prendere il sopravvento.
