is there a way to have it automatically save all of my settings and other data automatically, if I have to reboot I seem to loose everything

File > Save open markets PingPong parameters > Save open markets current orders > reboot

When it starts again: File > Load PingPong parameters > Load orders

some exchanges have very strange rules. I really don't understand why they try to add complexity to a simple things like an API Interface.

Example??

Kraken :

Quote
We have safeguards in place to protect against abuse/DoS attacks as well as order book manipulation caused by the rapid placing and canceling of orders.

Every user of our API has a "call counter" which starts at 0.

Ledger/trade history calls increase the counter by 2.

Place/cancel order calls do not affect the counter.

All other API calls increase the counter by 1.

The user's counter is reduced every couple of seconds, and if the counter exceeds the user's maximum API access is suspended for 15 minutes. Tier 2 users have a maximum of 15 and their count gets reduced by 1 every 3 seconds. Tier 3 and 4 users have a maximum of 20; the count is reduced by 1 every 2 seconds for tier 3 users, and is reduced by 1 every 1 second for tier 4 users.

Although placing and cancelling orders does not increase the counter, there are separate limits in place to prevent order book manipulation. Only placing orders you intend to fill and keeping the rate down to 1 per second is generally enough to not hit this limit.

WFT???
I've interfaced 14 Exchanges until now (the current 12 + Cryptsy + Mintpal) and never needed to manage such condition.
So, Interface C.A.T. with Kraken will costs an additional layer to calculate that rules (and these rules are dynamic based on customer tier  Cheesy Cheesy)

Does CAT support any kind of scripting, or is this planned? i.e. "program your own bot rules" which then gets executed by CAT.

CAT gives you a set of options that allows you to create your personal algorithm. You have all the option you need, from limit, filters, gain rules, algorithm rules. You can find all in the main guide : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=507103.msg5590896#msg5590896

This is a message printed from Yobit bad error code after a order creation try.
"Insufficient funds in wallet of the second currency of the pair" is a Yobit  message.
Your order creation is failing. If you are sure to have balance open a ticket to Yobit.

I will probably remove the ANALYZER from the next version.
That was an old utility, i think nobody used it and it costs me code maintenance.
Anyone has ever used that function??

Well no, it is pretty unused especially without more interesting infos like volume etc. I guess you can remove it as it is right now.

Analyzer would probably be used more if the user could import all of their current orders without having to add everything manually.  It would be an excellent tool without all of the manual labor.

I was just looking at it and added a couple of my pairs and it showed up a couple of potential losses immediately.  So I canceled the orders.

Hi Sampey,

Could you explain a little more the "Never Buy Over Your Last Sell Price/Never Sell Under Your Last Buy Price" options in a little more detail? Don't quite follow how you can set the Ping Sell price and the Pong Buy price..

Ideally I'm looking to use these settings to force CAT to trade in corridors for each Coin Pair. How would I go about setting it so that it doesn't for example make Ping orders that are within x% of a time period's High ?

btw - awesome tool! I'm liking it very much and just need some tweaks to various settigns and I'll be profitable!

well it's very simple.
Everytime an order is created you have a LAST Buy/Sell Price and if you want you can be more precise : A Last Buy/Sell Ping/Pong Price.

Limit Rules works only for PING Orders : after a PING price is calculated, limit rules are checked against the last prices.
