I'm Christian. You have to remember, the eye for eye was before Jesus came to earth. Jesus did change some rules put in the old testament, if you study the bible. It's a sin to judge and persecute people. But let's not let this be a religious and/or ethics topic, please stay on topic and provide evidence claiming you assumption is truth or something close to it. If not, at least make it constructive arguments.

Calling for an end to this ponzi altcoin thing,
and a return to sanity
This is the second post with the same topic from you - stop spamming. If people want to know alt coin trends they can look at the historical charts. Your attempts at price manipulation is pathetic at best. Sadly he did post something similar to this in another subject topic. I hate to say this, but your spreading FUD and a lot of hear say, nothing concrete or true evidence. Remember, Bitcoin was once thought of a Ponzi Scheme when it first start and still some people believe that to this day. So back to the topic, you need real evidence why your assumption is true, by what your saying, you wouldn't win a court trial with that assumption without fact. Sorry, that's the reality.

There wasn't any way to register to create an account at coined up
You use an Open-ID, it's more secure than people think it is and uses that for registering/login all in one deal. Google is a part of the Open-ID project and you can login in with a Google Open-ID.

I use CoinedUp on trades that Cryptsy have similar coins. The speed of CoinedUp is just to great to pass up. Cryptsy is a nice layout and security, but speed isn't a strong suit for them. They are well behind on optimizing it and they know they can in various ways. Maybe CoinedUp is faster because it has smaller volume, but at least the speed is there and the lags when they first started are nearly gone as far as in logins.

|
For now they run well, but we will see if they don't do a Cryptsy-ish moves. I like Cryptsy's interface, but the service is lacklust the past two months.

LOT and EAC, to me, seem like the best new coins. Then the cpu mined coins would be next. DOGE, CAT, etc are all meme coins, just a fad/trend for the moment/pump and dump.
|
|
|
In Cryptsy 1 XPM can buy 50,000,000cent immediately. 0.5LTC = 4XPM = 200,000,000CENT
All the exchange markets barely have any trade moment with CENT. It was premined by the dev and he didn't tell anyone. It was hot in the beginning, but pretty much was a pump and dump coin. The PoS for it was misleading, actually was less than advertised.

Kind of like that Korean guy that sang "She Bangs", hot for 2 or 3 years, where is he now....LOL.....Doge is fun, but in the long run, the more serious coins will prevail.....

CENT is pretty dead at the moment. Don't know if you can sell those off easily. Goodluck and hope you find a buyer.

Things I've notice since I start late June/early July into the cryptocurrency world, a few pool operators and there weird tendencies. One of them is, raising fees out of now where because they think people are not donating enough. Why not just make the initial fee what you wanted in the first place, that's kind of false advertisement. At least give people a day in advance that your going to up the fees, be honest please. The lower fee was probably the reason why people joined a certain pool(s) originally. Another bothersome thing, was recently an operator's pool was over paying people for a database error. He/She decided to put everyones balance to zero and freeze payouts, could have just disconnect everyone from the pool and corrected the issue, then restart the pool. Hello, it's your responsibility to check up on things like that and fix it. I think some operators just put a pool up and think that it is on auto pilot some how, just keep raking them in the money that easy. Nothing in life is easy and what seems easy, is difficult in another way. Some pools need to fix their wallets and/or stratum connections also. This is mostly what bothers me with the few pools that gave me these issues and wish there was an agency that would police these pools on how to operate, maybe FinCEN like agency. What's your thoughts on some of the pools? Most pools run well, just the few make the many look bad some times.

Cpoinmarketcap needs to make it's required to be list on a higher standard. Maybe at least be on two reputable exchanges and open source code would be a plus.

The problem with the 5870's is the price for 2nd hand ones on ebay.. been watching a few pastw eek, and they are going for £150+ each.. i can buy a friends 5830 for £40..
MEPH
I bought my HD 5870's for $60 and $80 USD, but that was 3 months ago. Hard to get reasonably used prices on AMD/ATI cards at the moment, because people are starting to know that GPU mining is profitable.

If you already have a decent PC, jsut spend all the $$ on a gfx card. The wiki isnt entirely accurate, but its a really good estimate. Typically if you are not getting similar results its a config issue.
The wiki is off and/or not exactly, but with my 2 HD 6970, I'm get 500 kh/s each. That's pretty close to what the wiki has them rated and I got them both for $220 on Craigslist. I'm mining on a budget myself and also got 2 HD 5870's on another setup. Pulling in total, 1600~1800 kh/s.

As suggest by the forum and in general, peer to peer trade via non-exchange market, you should always do escrow.
He was the escrow.. Wait, the guy running the charity is an escrow person. Then the forum/community needs to start screening people to be escrow, via trade +10 or more ratings.

I don't know your budget, but at least have 2 or more cards per setup. At least a HD 5870, HD 6950 or HD 6970 for starter cards. Ideally, HD 5970, 6990, 7950, 7970, 7990, R9 270X, R9 280X, R9 290 and/or R9 290x. Unless your going to CPU mining, at least a low power dual CPU. If a high end CPU and CPU mining, then a low end Core i7 or AMD 8 core FX series. Minimum 8GB RAM, 16 GB suggested if more than 2 GPU cards.
