1821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Was Sadio Mane robbed? on: November 14, 2022, 09:52:58 PM
Mane would have chosen to join La Liga instead of the club he joined. I don't even believe that club has ever had a Ballon d'Or winner, but if Mane had stayed in the Premier League and one of the Big Six had won both the Premier League and the Champions League, no one would have argued against declaring him the best player in the world because of his influence on all of the top Premier League teams he has played for. His kind won't be seen in the EPL again, in my opinion, and Liverpool lost a unique jewel. Because of the subpar treatment Mane was receiving at Liverpool, I was also glad for him when he departed. The majority of the work and goal-related contributions were made by him, yet others received all the credit and received significant pay. Bayern Munich was a wise pick for Mane; the club has a strong reputation and I think Mane made the right choice.
Have we not moved past this discussion about Mane being recognized? we are now close to the world cup and the most recent topic and discussion about Mane is that the Senegalese team have arrived Qatar already ahead of their first game against Netherlands but Sadio Mane has not yet arrived, that is he did not travel with them. Senegal may struggle without him against Netherlands, Can do without him playing against Qatar, But they may need him against Ecuador. I have high hope for the leading champions of africa.

Manchester United got a great win. They badly needed this win, which would go a long way in adding to their points. Also they played well enough. The team's midfielders have shown great skill. Everyone in the team played with responsibility.
Regular Fulham, becoming a characteristic of the team, that they are always unable to defend their goals and always conceding in the last minutes...Same way Manchester City scored a late winning goal against them is same way Manchester United has scored them. Fulham to me is a terrible team the way they play. I don't like their strategy. I was convinced even before the game started that Manchester United will win, it looked highly unlikely at some point, but Garnacho made it happen. He is quickly becoming a favorite in old Trafford, I see him becoming the future of the club if he doesn't leave.

Real Madrid has only one key player named Benzema, as long as he goes on the field and contributes to the match, Real Madrid manages to win, but when there is no Benzema, Real Madrid will definitely not be able to fight opponents
How can you say this, that Real Madrid has only one key player?? and that without Benzema they will struggle. Real Madrid is a team that there are always players ready to step up as replacement, and even without Benzema, they can still win games.

I read that Real Madrid alongside Chelsea are in a race to sign Endrick Fillipe and  Gianluca Prestianni. Read this source
1824  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchanges or platforms with too good offers. Be careful on: November 13, 2022, 02:05:07 PM
We know the saying "Too good to be true". Again, it is true in cryptocurrency market. During this year, we have had two big lessons
There are still platforms with good offers, even one's with very good offers that can seem too good to be true, but they are legit. There can also platforms without offers, that don't give off a bad feeling but they are not not legit in their own way. My point is, regardless of the reputation of a platform or exchange, don't let your guard down that you become careless with them. Be careful with all platforms, offers or no offers.

I am sure that Welsh is having a bad sleep right now, as his champion has fallen (all three African champs are no longer champs this year, it was a fate)
I watched AJ loose, Usman Loose, and now Adesanya, it has not been a great year for the Africans.

I was rooting for Adesanya my champ, I was hoping to see him retain his title and regain some confidence against Pereira who previously had beat him, he really got some beating in that fifth round. I was worried that he was getting too close to the sides and Pereira was able to box him up and delivered some straight punches to his head that forced his guard down and resulted in more direct punches. Progressing, that's another lesson for Adesanya and his team to learn, Pereira has defeated him again because he took full advantage when he had his chance.

Big congratulations to all the winners, very well deserved Cheesy I'm sure the team had a difficult time selecting the winners, because I saw a lot of creative artworks in the contest.

To all of us who are getting set to try again next time, good luck to us.

He is still  under my coach.
Are you really capable to give tutelage? do you believe you have enough knowledge about bitcoins already? Teach him independence and how to seek proper information from the internet should you both loose contact. You can also introduce him to this community so he can get the benefit of being a member of a community that their subject is a topic he has developed an interest in. Remind him the importance of cold storages for long term investment, and how it is necessary to store coins in cold storages and not exchanges.
1828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 12, 2022, 11:24:48 PM
I agree that Arsenal seems more focus on EPL and Europa League. But I don't think that they are not serious about EFL although they didn't play with a full team.
We were smart not to play hard for a victory in the EFL, focusing on too many things at a time can be distracting, plus I don't think our team has enough quality in the bench to properly rotate play without stressing out some of our key players, and we also don't want more players getting injured when we need them most. January will be a busy month, and just having players from the world cup, we have to not further over use them, so they don't get injured and it now goes ahead to hamper our title dreams this season, we are staying Objective.
1829  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is a Quality Post? on: November 12, 2022, 11:16:31 PM
Some of the characteristics of a quality posts like a Post that answers a question, corrects mistakes, Post that teaches a new idea, fall under the simple term of "providing value". Ask yourself always how your post will provide value and be valuable to someone, so you can easily ascertain if your post is quality or not. A post that provides value is the first obvious sign of a quality post.

A quality post can be one line:
It must not be lengthy to be called quality.
.
If your post is too long, people can easily miss the point, short, simple and straight to the point does the trick at times.

Thanks for sharing OP, some of us needed to be reminded.
1830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 12, 2022, 11:04:01 PM
No reason for bayern to lose against schalke before. Bayern was dominating the match and schalke was playing as bad as always.
I expected two things before this game started. First that Bayern wins, and secondly that Chupo-Moting be on the scoresheet for Bayern. They both happened as expected. I hope Chupo take this goal scoring form into the world cup, his country have a dependable striker in him. Both goals came from the assist from Jamal Musiala who is so young, just 19 but already doing so well with 12 goals already and 10 game assist, I will be observing him play for Germany in the world cup.
1831  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can Binance also get bankrupt soon? on: November 12, 2022, 10:12:57 PM
Binance is a big name in cryptocurrency, It will be difficult for them to bankrupt, but not impossible. Some people never expected FTX to suddenly just be choked out, but it has happened to our amazement. So always expect that anything is possible with these exchanges, expect that everything is possible regardless of the name they have, and do the needful in not choosing to keep your coins there.
1832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 12, 2022, 09:59:35 PM
Arsenal have been the least disappointing team in the Premier League. Their fine form has made people feel optimistic about the title chances this season even if the Premier League is not yet halfway through the season. Martin Odegaard became an important player for Arsenal's victory today with his 2 goals, but if I'm honest I really like the performances of Gabriel Martinelli and Saka this season.
I am very proud of my club Arsenal. it would have been terrible if we didn't win and get our lead on the league table further with now five points. Apart from xhaka who got subbed off for Fabio, it was also good that no other player got injured especially our players who have been called up to represent their countries in the world cup. Saliba almost got carried away and made some mistakes that would have been deadly, good thing it didn't result to that. Congratulations to us, we are celebrating Christmas as league leaders.
1833  Other / Off-topic / Re: ⚽ Football Injuries and Injury Updates! on: November 12, 2022, 09:45:57 PM
Does Mane still has the chance to represent?
Mane as a fair chance of representing his country, if not in their first game, maybe their second or third. He is a great influence to the team and seeing him play will be good for the overall morale of the Senegal team.

Maddison who was named in the England team was seen substituted in the first half of the Westham vs Liecester because of injury.
England have a lot of options, so many options that they could not take all their options to the world cup. If Madison doesn't turn up fit, he may have little chance of featuring in the world cup.
1834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My First Purchases of Bitcoin on: November 12, 2022, 04:03:09 PM
Congratulations on your first purchase, although the amount is small, you can pick up from here and begin to use the strategy of DCA-ing to increase your portfolio. Starting something is usually the most difficult thing to do,  but as you have started, with some dedication you can keep it going with a little more discipline and in a little time your portfolio will greatly improve. As an extra advice due to the current situation in cryptocurrency, you should know that exchanges are not the place to store your bitcoin, and since you're making an effort to get bitcoins for yourself you should also make an effort to keep it safe.
1835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Why was Mane called up? on: November 11, 2022, 09:46:42 PM
Seems Senegal are desperate to bring Sadio mane to the world cup, just like in the last AFCON tournament that he was used despite him having a concussion on the pitch.
Sadio Mane consents before Senegal takes any decision regarding him. for them to have included him in this world cup means he consented to it. The injury he sustained is as much a big blow to him as it is for the country and his absence can be disappointing to other Senegal players who have already hinged their motivation on him that they are going to the world cup with him. Even if he will not play, his presence will mean a lot for the team and other players in the squad.

It is really painful, I hope he can somehow recover and play some games quickly, even if not their opening game.
1836  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: November 11, 2022, 08:14:51 PM
Bola Tinubu make promise to Nigerians to provide 1million jobs in his first tenure, if elected president.
These promises really do not move Nigerians so much anymore, what is the use getting a job when the salary will not be enough to use for a month till the next salary because of the very expensive nature of things. I nor dey too reason Tinubu sef, if he had picked a good vice, he would have almost been undisputed, but Shettima who he has chosen as his vice is what many people don't like. Have you ever imagined a scenerio where Tinubu who is already frail dies in office, and Shettima takes over? Abeg make we think well because anybody wey we select now na for eight years ooooo, and with the way our country dey, you sure we fit survive another eight years with the way things dey go? we really need hope.
1837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coins on an exchange, any exchange, are never safe on: November 10, 2022, 10:20:52 PM
Every day it seems a new story emerges about an exchange going bankrupt. Has been a recurring pattern since the Mt. Gox collapse. Why, with so many examples of failures, do people continue to keep their money on these? You don't own crypto if you have "coins" on an exchange, you have an IOU from a business that may or may not even be solvent.
People never learn because they think that after it has happened, it never happens again or it doesn't repeat itself. They refuse to learn from people's experience. No matter how reputable an exchange seems, like they can never go bankrupt or be victims of hack, people who have not learnt this lesson should learn it never to keep their coins in an exchange when there are cold storages and safer places for them.
1838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: November 10, 2022, 09:19:34 PM
The team have struggled for quite some years even before Erik Ten Hag’s arrival...
Is anyone watching Manchester United play against Aston Villa in the third round of the Caraboa cup, It was a goalless game after the first 45mins but just four minutes into the start of the second half, Villa scored a goal and Manchester United quickly responded just some seconds later, thanks to the brilliance of Bruno and finishing of Martial. The overall performance of some Manchester United players has not been so good.  Fred has not been good and Van de Beek has had little influence on this game so far. Both teams have to be careful, because they both look likely to win now that the game have been giving life as both teams scored.

If Manchester united fail to win again against Villa after loosing to them some days ago in the premier league, we will agree that Manchester United's performance recently has deteriorated and they can likely loose against Fulham in the premier league this weeked.

I don't believe that you aren't fluent in speaking or writing; I think you didn't take your time to avoid typos like this, -- a type that almost got me wondering why I decided to read your post in the first place. Check on that.

No. You haven't known this whole cryptographic stuff outrightly. If you do, you shouldn't be asking how important it has been and how it's gonna improve...............makes me feel you haven't aligned with 'em current rehab which has made you looked Bitcoin disdainfully, that's naive.
This sounds hostile, and this response can be discouraging for newbies who truly know nothing about bitcoins and have joined the forum to learn. If this is the regular response that everyone here gives whenever someone asks a question truly when they want to learn from the community, they will not become comfortable, become afraid of expressing themselves and will limit participation so they don't get gaslighted. You can see that OP is truly a newbie, Please be accommodating and hospitable, you were once a newbie to both bitcoins and the forum.

It looks like Arsenal want to strengthen the midfield as a replacement for Odegaard if he is not fit.
We need to make top priority signing for key positions during the transfer window, we can't miss it if we really intend to win the league and also because we cannot know if all our players who will go for national duty will return without injuries. so far the name most likely to join us is Mykhailo Mudryk who has been very impressive for Shakthar Donetsk and has the ability to reduce the workload for either Martinelli or Saka as he can play both Left wing and Right wing, plus he can score goals as well. We can't depend on Nketiah and Reiss Nelson as replacement for Jesus who usually records more goal involvement every season than goals.
