1821  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MultiWebPay.com & herusdcosta = SCAM on: August 04, 2016, 09:43:17 PM
The FCA registration is genuine

https://register.fca.org.uk/ShPo_FirmDetailsPage?id=001b000002e8sCKAAY

They won't just come to your rescue until they are satisfied that you have tried to resolve this directly.

I would suggest:

1) Email multiwebpay. Find out what position herusdcosta has there, and whether they know about what he's doing.
2) get no help from them then copy it all to PayCash
3) get no help from them then go to FCA Ombudsman.

1823  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MultiWebPay.com & herusdcosta = SCAM on: August 04, 2016, 07:10:00 PM
Unlucky.
Re the escrow situation, you thought that multiwebpay were going to escrow this, obviously before you found out that you were actually selling to them anyway?
I guess in future to avoid this sort of shit, you can only insist on a trusted real third party escrow.
I had a quick look at the background of multiwebpay, apparently owned by paycasheurope who also run Unixshitcoin, and appears to have links with UK, Russia, India and possible Bulgaria.
Paycasheurope does apparently have a registration with the FCA in the UK according to this so I would make that your first target.
The FCA wouldn't be too impressed with this sort of shit going on from a licensed payment provider.
Good luck.
1824  Other / Off-topic / Re: Independent review tears into ICANN board and staff on: August 04, 2016, 05:22:06 PM

ICANN is such a bureaucratic organization full of A$@holes. Who else agrees?

Me.
Show a lawyer a trough and he'll stick his fucking nose in it.

Quote
ICANN's legal team developed their own opinion that they were not subject to their own organization's rules, and neither were the evaluators that they selected.

Look at this smug shitbag, obviously bullied at school and taking it out on everyone he can for the rest of his miserable life.

1826  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] HashOcean and GainBitcoin are run by same scammer on: August 04, 2016, 09:14:46 AM
I think Arpit Jain is not who he claims to be.

Hashocean trying it on.

I think this is probably him, or someone pretending to be him

https://www.linkedin.com/in/arpit-jain-51871063

Just to be clear, my personal view, even though I originally noticed the link from Gainbitcoin to HashOcean in their FAQ's, is not the same as OP's in that I don't believe that the two operations are run by the same people.
That Gainbitcoin copied chunks of HashOcean (and other) sites is undeniable. I asked here why that should be, but received no substantive reply or was any major correction made of the misleading text (despite Bhardwaj/Kumar purportedly owning a successful software business).

Dear Arpit Jain

As you have not seen fit to reply to my reasonable request for clarification of which parts of my post you find contentious, I have forwarded your message to my legal advisors and received confirmation that your threats are empty, for various reasons, and will be ignored.

The thread in question merely asks for clarification of certain inconsistencies in Gainbitcoin's publically made claims and in no way is an attempt to defame Bhardway/Kumar or his various operations.
Your unsolicited and unverified threatening message has no basis in law or fact and could be seen as an attempt at extortion, where the tangible benefit to you would be receipt of fees for misleading advice that there is a case for me to answer, which there emphatically is not.

Any further communication on this subject will only be responded to on receipt of your full professional details and written confirmation from Amit Bharwaj that you have authority to act on his behalf.

I am appending this series of messages to the thread in question in the spirit of transparency. Your threat of proceedings against me for slander for doing so are without legal basis.

This will not stop unless government will ban this in their respective countries many people are into mlm right now because they have made money in their past mlm companies and they have a lot of downlines they have to feed them with new programs..

Yeah, but waiting for the Feds to turn up and sort things out doesn't really fit in with a lot of people's reasons for being involved in crypto.
If a decentralized financial future is viable, then there will have to be an attitude shift on the part of the users, which must include some form of self/community policing.
At base level that is harassing and exposing scammers one by one, as well as trying to educate the gullible and generally being proactive, as far as I am concerned anyway.

all this wonderful pedigree surely justifies Mr. Jaiswal's self description:
Professional Internet Marketer & Coach, Online Entrepreneur, Wealth & Prosperity Consultant

He calls himself "coach".

Ah, Kartike Kanwar is the Crypto Coach. He's an interesting sort of guy, the sort that after you shake hands with him, you check to see if you still have all your fingers.
Also known to his friends as
Quote
Business Development Coach, Crypto Currency Consultant, Bitcoin and Alt Coin Minner, Internet Marketer and Entrepreneur

These guys sure love their titles.
Yeah Kanwar has sold all sorts of shit scams in his time, have a Google on him, I'm suffering from a bout of MLM fatigue.  Wink

this is reality in india that many persons who are doing job or jobless are directly running toward the MLM platform for money without any hardwork. still many persons are successful but some of them are lossing thier time and money . i don't think that MLM is a very best platform of earning money by joining the new person in the MLM .
i had also read about your post for scam of MLM .
i will suggest those person of MLM group try to do with some what job with bitcoins .

This is reality worldwide unfortunately.
MLM scammers prey on two sections of the community everywhere: the greedy or the desperate.
As for the chances of success in putting money into MLM schemes, even if the scheme is not an out and out scam like OneCoin, the only people who make money are the ones at the top end of the pyramid, the vast majority lose it or barely survive, even in "legitmate" businesses where the core plan is viable.

Look at this distribution chart

That's the reality of MLM income distribution and that's with legitimate products.

1836  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitfury: "16nm... sales to public start shortly" on: August 03, 2016, 05:42:26 AM
Way back in March, when Bitfury's word had some credibility, I posted this series of quotes from BitClub Network, a sleazy MLM funded mining operation who were boasting about preferred access to Bitfury 16nm gear.

Quote
"I've got the new (Bitfury) 16nm tech chips"

Quote
"BCN are the only people in the world with Bitfury chips, buying all they can produce."

Quote
We've got 12 PH/s Bitfury containers

Quote
buying $17million of Bitfury containers at $3m a piece

Punin confirmed that Bitfury prefer dealing with this BCN sleaze rather than the mining community.
Reasons for that could be many, including Bitfury staff taking advantage of that great Bitcoin attribute, the ability to receive anonymous payments...

We are indeed working with Joby, but will not disclose any commercial details.

His statements are not 100% correct factually as we have not delivered production chips or containers to clients yet and we are working with several clients and integrators.

Punin and Weeks on first name terms, aaaaah. Not 100% factually correct= total lies for the consumption of BitClub Network suckers.

Anyway, fast forward five moths and BCN are still limping along with their "investors" moaning like f*ck about their wonderful promised ROI's reducing over the months to dust and demanding Something Should Be Done. (The recent $200 "correction" in the BTC price is unlikely to improve their humor, but what can they do, they're locked in?)
So, what is being done?

Quote from: BitClub Network 8th July News Update
We have 10 PH coming online from Bitmain, they just came out with their new 16nm chips in their newest S9 Antiminer rigs. These machines are now the most efficient on the planet and we have secured a large chunk of the first batch!

With the halving coming up it was very important that we got rid of some of our older models. This included all remaining S5 Antminers and even a portion of our S7 Antminers are being turned over so that we can focus on the S9 expansion.

We believe the S9 is at the peak of the market. The efficiency will not get much better from here and these machines are built to mine for life, so you will see many updates as we expand aggressively with this model and plan to hash with them forever.

Also, we have another 14 PH coming online from BitFury that will begin starting next week July 13th and will come in batches from there until Aug 24th.

This is 24 PH in addition to the 48 PH we currently have in our pool. We already have scheduled purchases during the next few months that will come online near the end of Aug or early September. Our goal is to be at 80 PH by September and fully running on 16nm technology exclusively!

Sure.

Currently, Bitfury and BCN are jointly totalling just single % figures of total mining capacity.

Add to this an interesting comment from Eric@Hao

But mining is not our strategic direction - I talked with someone from BitFury, and they felt the same way, which is that while there is money to be made in mining, it should not be our focus in the long run.

1837  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Will many miners have to stop mining at the end of the month? on: August 02, 2016, 10:24:35 PM
Bitcoin mining will be very difficult now for some time. Increase the difficullty constantly then it gets even worse and harder. Electricity price on the rise its a bad time to mine. Many big mine farms will take the lead. When you can mine alone is over now it has to be together or you must have much money.

Ryan, thanks a lot for your valuable input. I honestly hope, that it will be counted as regular post and paid as well, because I never read before such valuable and deep analysis. post more like this, please.

Alright, seriously?

This OneCoin bullshit needs to be stopped. Just saw a post on Facebook about how great it is that this is the first crypto that's "Fully traceable and transparent, unlike BitCoin."

Are these people retarded?

No need writing lengthy posts about the demerits of onecoin. A scam coin can not last long in the market, it will fizzle out with time even without your input.

No need to tell people what or what not to do.

Especially when you are carrying the signature of another MLM scam coin yourself.

Look at these fucking sleazebags, they wouldn't know a blockchain if it bit them on the ass.

I see there's some pushback going on with people actually attending these "events" and asking relevant questions without getting much of an answer.

TAKE DIRECT ACTION AGAINST THIS SCAM, and have a bit of fun too.

An example from Australia http://behindmlm.com/companies/onecoin/onecoin-recruitment-gig-in-australia-disrupted-awkward/
And Florida https://news.bitcoin.com/onecoin-crashed-bitcoin-uncensored/
And Bob Summerwill is promising to do the same in Vancouver. https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/4vgh3n/onecoinscam_links_in_comments_on_ethereum_blog/

Go along to one near you and ask them about the new "blockchain", what a "split" is, how many merchants they've got, and ARE YOU REALLY THAT FUCKING STUPID?

WOW, when you turn over a rock, you have no idea what is going to crawl out...

My good friend Oz at behindMLM has been looking at Powerhashing too, and he found their name

in the code of a scam called Bitaxles.

Also sharing a company director
"Jay Lawrence"
121 Oakhill Rd,
Sutton SM1 3AN
UK
with Bitaxles is FinanceBTC, a non paying hyip with a now insecure website.

azhyipmonitor.com/hyip_finance_btc_limited.html

and also sharing that address is Walter Brown with yet another scam,
Business Angels inc.

Scammers everywhere, they seem to be like the Hydra from mythology, cut one head off and ten grow back  Sad

People before registering these sites not investigate if they have:

Company headquarters

registry (documents issued by the government to carry out such activity) only believe that the company was registered because they saw the  site writing: "registered company UK"

Do not call to see if the phone number that the site works or not.

Unfortunately my friend, UK company registration means nothing with regard to the legitimacy or otherwise of a scheme.
It can be bought for pennies and documents are rarely checked.

Anybody in India able to ID any of the people in this photo (apart from the Scammers at the back)?
I wonder if they know what they're doing?
Probably... or they don't care, just so long as they get paid.
