Thanks artisbigshirts for the great logo! I definitely recommend this service. He was great to work with and captured exactly what I was going for. +1 ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftalkimg.com%2Fimages%2F2024%2F01%2F11%2F3meX8.png&t=663&c=4jbzkKhaontVdw)

One of our 5970s appears to have overheated last week. I have tried taking it apart and replacing the thermal paste, replacing drivers, reformatting, changing thermal pads, all to no avail. I am having a friend who knows a lot more about repairing hardware take a look at it next week to see if he can get it working correctly. In the meantime, I have installed a watercooling loop that I picked up for a great price to make sure we do not run into any further overheating issues. Hopefully my friend is able to repair the 5970 and we have it up and running again before the next dividend payment. Either way, we have plenty of reserves and a more efficient miner now so I do not see this having an effect on our dividends. I have also received a message from Butterfly Labs saying that our Bitforce Single is scheduled to be shipped in the next batch and it will be the latest revision.

+1 to the unwanted spam comment... I did not appreciate it either. OP's spamming is out of control.

Looks like it's currently yielding around 14%. It will be interesting to watch this.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of the designs.

I wonder, should we change the name to Global Bitcoin Securities Exchange?
If GBSE.bit isn't taken, YES!

LOYALTY REWARDS PROGRAM:
In order to reward larger depositors, I am introducing a Loyalty Rewards Program. Effective immediately, depositors with at least 250 BTC in deposits will automatically be enrolled into the program. For each completed interest rate period, depositors with 250+ BTC in deposits will be rewarded with a 1% interest rate increase per month. Depositors with 500+ BTC in deposits will be rewarded with a 2% interest rate increase per month. See below example.
Example: 250+ BTC deposited in April would receive a base rate interest payment on May 1st, +1% on June 1st, +2% on August 1st, etc. 500+ BTC deposited in April would receive a base rate interest payment on May 1st, +2% on June 1st, +4% on August 1st, etc.
Depositors who fall below the 250 BTC loyalty requirement will forfeit their previously earned rewards. Depositors who fall below the 500 BTC loyalty requirement will have their previously earned rewards cut in half.
20% maximum monthly interest rate applies.
UPDATE: Accounts holding 250+ BTC will now receive a flat 2% interest rate reward.

I wouldn't mind having the option to lock my BTC withdrawal address.

Have you verified your GLBSE account yet?
You can check our verification status at any time using the GLBSE. I figured someone with 4 listings on there would know that...

I wouldn't mind seeing a GLBSE sub-forum. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Seems like it's VERY easy to manipulate that bet though - all you need is to place a buy order at 1.1001 or something and you still will make 18 bitcents from the contract as well as win the bet with 100% certainty. The community seems to be betting that it WILL NOT happen at this moment.

What is the target for the reserve account, and what percentage of your profits from the passthrough will be used to build up the reserve?
The target for the reserve account is 100%. The question is, how long will it take to get there? I am hesitant to commit to an exact % of profits that will go to the reserve account, but I plan to increase it on a regular basis as interest payments are paid out.

This sounds like a great service. I hope it helps get some new people involved in Bitcoin. Good work!

There are many easier ways of doing it though - one being, just emailing the works to yourself and a few friends and family. Emails generally hold up in court just fine.
Emails as copyrights do not hold up in court. At least not in the entertainment industry. I know this from experience. I have seen people take written works and physically mail themselves the works, not opening the letter and submitting that to the court as evidence. The post mark has held up (although I have also heard stories of it not working). For that reason, I was thinking the block chain could be an easier and even stronger evidence of a copyright. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=47283.0 <- This seems like a reasonable solution for placing written works in the block chain.

Try a few intensity settings and go with what works best for you. Try 725-825 for a gpu range to start with. Go with 75C for a target temp. Use auto-fan & auto-gpu. Adjust all settings to suit your needs.
