18241  Economy / Services / Re: i can mentor to make Insane ammount of Bitcoins on: February 01, 2017, 06:25:35 PM
Not that I'm defending OP, but I suppose I could see one possibility:

He is in a programme which is doing a limited time of enhanced commissions or promotional bonuses to new accounts. He has found a way to "unlock" the bonuses (wagering requirements? trade volume requitements?) but it takes time. He needs 10 people to do this before the promotion ends.

Salam OP,

Saya mungkin berminat (memang bisa Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Melayu) tapi beberapa pertanyaan dulu:

1. Berapa kerapnya posting artikel.
2. OP yang bagi sumber rewrite/translate ataupun sendiri cari? (selain bounty)
3. Bisa meliat statistik trafik dulu, cuma mau verify:) Demografi umum asal dari Indo?

Congratulations to Rimuru! I was really hoping to find it, but it appears I was still very far off haha.

Just built my 3rd village, and staying away from leveling up to 30 just for a bit (don't want to have to watch out for hunger) to level up and max villages first. Those soldiers and upkeep look scary.
18244  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: CoinFest 2017 on: February 01, 2017, 09:06:42 AM
Of course, I do understand that Coinfest isn't a job fair and won't be going there with CVs, but rather to see if anyone is looking for anyone like me. I understand there's a bit of work going on in the non-profits trying to study blockchain or crypto, I hope to run into people who might find my insight useful.

Perhaps I really am just looking to network, as you put:)

All the same, should be interesting to see.
18245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] Monero = Silk Road Coin NOW ! on: February 01, 2017, 09:02:47 AM
this was considered a selling point for bitcoin for a long time. it's kinda undignified that the same argument used by mainstream assholes is now being used by people in the bitcoin space against xmr.

Indeed, the very same causes championed by early bitcoin adopters (who are now distancing themselves from them) are the ones Monero's tried to pick up and progress.

OP, I generally don't disagree with your views but are you also going to caution bitcoin users for its continued use in the dark agenda? Or should we also shun fiat because it is still the number 1 choice for criminal activity?
18246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICOs worth investing on: February 01, 2017, 08:59:05 AM
Qtum stand out presently, the team is doing both side of the project right: development and promotion, I won't be surprise to see this project sold out in record time, you can look into it. I'm also waiting for Rootskock ICO, it should be in March or April.
nice venue to promote your campaign mate, but yes reading what qtum intend to happen its very unique and i can say that its worth investing with the way they really extend effort to make promotion even they are not yet releasing the ico, i'm looking forward for qtum to be like eth both parties have their own assumptions but it would be depend to the success of the project.
I dont have any research on Qtum but seeing on the community and development of this coin i could say that this coin would have a potential. ICO of this would be somehow make decent profits but we should still be careful because the risk of those having ICO scams that do happen in the past.
Caution in our business is very important, because the risk of money. But about this project we can confidently say that he has a lot of trust, a special Ethereum community in China.

I haven't really formed many positive opinions about ICO but as you can see, I'm promoting QTUM, whose ICO aims to start in March. Like you guys, I do see early signs for success: the early promotion, a tech whitepaper audited by one of the Big 4 (PWC) and what seems to be the trust of ETH advocates based in China. With bases around my region also, perhaps I am partial to supporting something closer to home.
18247  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How saturated is the betting market. on: January 31, 2017, 10:05:11 PM
It depends on what you want to learn from the answers. But like most markets, modern betting/gambling no longer has a loyalty hold on customers from brand name alone.

Even in the crowd of gambling sites, you'll find many users who will have accounts across several sites, and always be ready to try new ones.

What's your aim? Better customer service, prompt deposits and payouts, interactive games? House edge differences and provably fair proof are also common with crypto sites. These all attract different people. If you can find a niche that you can serve well, you'll do all right.
18248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CKS]Chicks, very rare!! | hold your chicks and get reward!! on: January 31, 2017, 09:39:36 PM
I have a question about staking/mining with this wallet. I opened the transaction list today and this came up in the list. I didn't do anything over the period in the list - just left the wallet open. When I hover my mouse cursor over it, the message says "Generated but not accepted".

Is this something I should be concerned about? If this is a regular occurrence, then it's even more time I might not want to waste keeping the wallet open on idle=)

18249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DOGE] Will history repeat again? MOON on: January 31, 2017, 09:07:55 PM
Hey, doge is pretty damn stable compared to a lot of other coins,  and that's good for any currency.   Right?  It's definitely still alive and well, even if it isn't the most glamorous thing.  People use it, unlike all the other turds.

I am a professed doge lover... the fun spirit of the coin still thrives and is very much alive. You can see this especially in casinos that use Doge. It is the choice coin for tips and giveaways... I have tens of thousands just from random tippers, even after giving tens of thousands away myself.

It's still unique and it still recently gives to charitable causes. Moon it may never be, but it is here to stay for a long, long time.

well that is the thing, we are in a speculation board for altcoins which is talking about the price. Dogecoin is only a joke coin and for some reason it has thrived this long. and all the thing you said such as giveaways and tips on places like reddit have no effect on price. and the fact that it is used as a gambling coin these days is because people have lots of it for very cheap and want to get rid of it somehow or make possible profit.
again no effect on price!

The things I spoke about -  its widespread use in giving and tipping as well as for charitable donations - are evidence that Dogecoin is still in demand. Demand means people still want to use them, and still want to obtain them. Some of the oldest faucets around still have to purchase the coin to give it out.

Demand is a huge factor in determining price. You can't say it has no effect on price.

Hello! Don't know how I missed out on this thread, but I see you're also managing a twitter campaign. Might as well get my satoshi's worth in for comments made in the thread. Hard to post in there and catch up though, with a bit of spam going on.

1. As previously posted, the forum guides are outdated and are not for DKV2.

2. The two difficulties can be obtained through the use of a Difficulty Token yes.

3. See number 1.

4. Only turns are cumulative.

Uhmm, look like that guide only tell 60% of the current version of the game. May i knew why not update the guide? Because i dont find any other informatiin except from there, would you let me know if there is newest guide?

And my two question still not yet answered because outdated guide, how to reset my allocated AP? and is daily quest already deleted?

Hey xdtia,

You can still read the forum guides like I did for information, but bear in mind, the rules there were for an older version, as the Dev mentions. The players in chat and Dev himself (Anarchist) are very helpful though, so you can learn along as you play, like I am. There's really not much to understand once you've settled in I think. See you in Valeria.
18252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Matchpool - Making Human Connections on: January 31, 2017, 07:01:39 AM
I wonder if there is a small issue with this project's aims... if Matchpool X will always be in a 1:1 ratio with Matchpool Y, before new participants will be entered into pools, then presumably you'd have a lot of males waiting for a very long time to be enrolled.

Simply because demographic of crypto users show majority males.
Dating site users are also majority males.

18254  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: [DISKUSI] Harga Bitcoin on: January 30, 2017, 08:18:16 PM
Memang semua mengharap harga naik, saya pun begitu, tapi setengah hati berat karena mau membeli lagi di masa terdekat. Wallet saya pun hampir kering... kalau harga tetap beberapa bulan lagi pun saya kira ok bulih menambah bitcoin sementara harga belum naik. Smiley
18255  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Can anyone recommend an iPhone BTC app that doesn't suck? on: January 30, 2017, 07:11:38 AM
When talking about small amounts and small transactions, I actually store my dust on a web "wallet" which is easily accessible on my phone -  basically just an account on a website which I use to store my dust and send/receive from within my account.

The thing with dust is most of the good wallets will kill you on tx fees.

Can't wait for Electrum to get itself on iOS and show people what they've been missing.
18256  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: CoinFest 2017 on: January 30, 2017, 07:02:03 AM
Thanks for the link, just realising from the talkshow that you're from Austin haha. Btw, is there a way to skip to the 2nd half without waiting for 30 mins? Or a text sample?

On a rather selfish note, I'm also hoping to find perhaps some form of work at Coinfest. Not sure what's available for a person new to the scene (from a non-profit and journalism background) but will definitely be at Arnhem to find out. Have you been to all the Coinfest physical events?

Agree that getting village loyalty back up should be an option - perhaps not necessarily only with "bribes" but upgrades even should work to some effect (hey, which townspeople won't vote for the mayor that brings development, right?).

Also, on a side note, I think the chat gift for +5 Max Hunger doesn't do anything to stats. I waited to receive it again today and confirm it doesn't add to stats. The security captcha which gives +1 Max Hunger works.
18258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Withdraw BTC if underage? on: January 30, 2017, 06:45:41 AM
Is there really an ATM Machine for bitcoin?

Yes. It's mostly one way though. OP, you need to check if the ATM has any requirements for ID verification. Some places do require IDs to exchange Bitcoins.

If you look in this forum, under services, or even under Goods, you can see several services that will send you a physical debit card for your bitcoin without verification. This you can just use at any ATM to withdraw cash. I understand bitplastic.com also do the same thing. The downside might be the fees and the rates, which won't be as good.
Many of those debit cards specifically prohibits Bitcoin related transactions and they also have quite a fee attached.

Bitplastic.com is a scam and please do not advise anyone to use it.

Thanks for the info on bitplastic... I found it and bookmarked through news sites but always good to do some due diligence before trying any service.

About debit cards, I'm talking about the ones sold with preloaded debit or a prepaid card which you buy with bitcoin. The only transaction will be bitcoin to the seller.
18259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CKS]Chicks, very rare!! | hold your chicks and get reward!! on: January 29, 2017, 08:46:59 PM
Hey OP, just saw the vote rewards in, thanks very much! Any chance for the airdrop or any other type of bounty?

Daffa: thanks for your advice. This is in fact my first POS coin, but if I ever get serious about holding more such alts, I'd like to try your suggestion for staking. To be honest, I only keep btc properly, but I do hold tiny amounts of Doge, LTC and ETH - but only because of faucets and such. CHK is really my first alt buy, and honestly I got attracted simply because of the fun concept=)

I went and got myself 300 chicks from the exchange at 120,000 satoshi haha, but quite happy anyway to have that much.
