I thought I'd see how significant the posts step down at the 8k/4k file size: the middle one had just one post while the first and third have 29 and eight respectively. The third one in your list has 8 posts. Those 8k/4k aren't real file sizes, I think the webserver shows the block size it uses on the file system. That means this isn't the best way to sort files. I'll add it to my TODO: create a index.html with more information. Perhaps a known spammers' link be changed to another colour? (red/purple/orange etc for spammer/scammer nuked Flag etc)?? I can strike out banned users (also on my TODO now), but since they're still posting, that won't be many users yet. Where might we post our findings? I'm not sure, maybe a separate thread?

In that case, many positive feedback must be withdrawn which has been posted before the change. I'm not changing feedback that was correct according to the "rules" when I left it. I have added a positive feedback on Royse777, because he had created two pool and donated some amounts into the pool pot. Is my positive feedback correct on that case? I wouldn't worry about it too much. You're not on DT, and if you believe it was correct when you left it, you should still be able to stand behind your feedback now. The accuracy of the feedback is like your "Trust business card". Based on this, other members can include (or exclude) you on their Trust list (see my Trust list viewer), which may or may not mean you'll end up on DT at some point.

This post (in another topic) made me realize the description for Positive feedback change too: That is not the purpose of the trust system. The purpose of giving a positive rating is to vouch that the person is unlikely to scam period, there are no 'ifs thans or buts'. Old Positive - You trust this person or had a successful trade. Neutral - Comments. Your rating will not affect this person's trust score. Negative - You were scammed or you strongly believe that this person is a scammer. New Positive - You think that this person is unlikely to scam anyone. Neutral - Other comments. Negative - You think that trading with this person is high-risk. You might also be able to add a flag. Until now, I only focused on the changed description for Negative feedback and didn't really notice how Positive changed. I used to use my non-DT1 account to leave feedback on successful deals, but under the current description, I can't do that anymore.

Most major governments, with the US in particular, already have large troves of Bitcoin that are seized from criminals. For instance, I think I recall the US seized 100,000 BTC from the operators of Silkroad. The US auctioned those 144,336 Bitcoins for $334 on average: Proceeds of $48.2 million from the sale of 144,336 bitcoins mean that the government sold the cryptocurrency at an average price of $334. I wouldn't be surprised if some agencies buy some Bitcoin for whatever reason, but I doubt they'll buy large amounts in secret using an unofficial black budget to avoid attention.

Bump Due to a family road trip, I'm not sure when I'll publish my next update. I got myself a VPS, but haven't migrated my Trust list viewer yet (and won't have time to do so now). I'll bring my laptop, but I don't know how often I'll be online.

Recently, one of my friends' bitcoin talk account got banned without any reason. He had earned 3 merits for his posts. He felt very bad about that. So he didn't feel bad about being banned, only about the 3 Merits? Let me guess: he can easily create another account, but getting more Merit is difficult? Just to be clear: creating another account to post anywhere else than in a ban-appeal thread is not allowed after a ban. Also, I have one doubt, all the merits he earned is it lost? Those Merits aren't lost, they're still used to highlight good posts. Example:

It could be a good thing to see the difference in the report stats of the members when they joined the club and now. I don't know my exact amounts from a year ago, and I haven't reported that much lately, but this is my current status: You have reported 6459 posts with 99% accuracy (6117 good, 78 bad, 264 unhandled). I'm still waiting for my badge I'm planning to celebrate our anniversary with a small giveaway to everyone who posted in this thread. Nothing big just 1mBTC just for the fun. With 78 users (3 of those banned), you're looking at $800

First: the idea isn't mine: I always thought it would be cool if we could get gambling scratch cards like the US loto has. I would only want to be gambling 0.1 mbtc but a physical card to scratch would be cool But I like it enough to create a topic for it I found several websites that offer Bitcoin Scratch Cards, but it's either online gambling, or only paper wallets that hide the private key under a scratch-off layer. Physical Bitcoin Lotto Scratch Cards (let's call them PBLSC) Now imagine the possibilities if a trustworthy person creates Physical Bitcoin Lotto Scratch Cards: - This person has to be highly trusted (and his printing system too)
- A Lotto scratch card that doesn't expire: how cool is that? You can either scratch it now, or 20 years from now, and it will work just as well
- It needs a large number of scratch cards to be able to have larger prizes and reach a low printing cost per card
- This would be a very cool thing as a gift!
- Each PBLSC ticket could also act as a paper wallet: On one side, you'll find the Lotto, with a scratch-off private key, QR-code and the balance printed, and on the other side, you'll find a Bitcoin address (with QR-code) to fund the wallet/gift yourself, and a scratch-off private key (with QR-code). This makes it a paper wallet with a possible bonus amount.
- It can be used as a gift, and might become a collector's item
- It would of course need a very cool design, and someone (not me, it's out of my league) to create this.
Is this feasible?

It's the first time I've heard about "Prypto scratch cards", so I have to ask: who thought it's a good idea to rely on a third party website to access long-term Bitcoin storage? Trusting a stranger to create a private key is bad enough, but at least that ensures you can access the funds without external help. A website to redeem funds is a terrible idea! Edit 1: I've just got a response from wwf, they said based on the information they have, all cards have reached their expiry date and redemption is not available due to that. So someone got very rich out of this! Waiting 5 years for Bitcoin to go up, then taking the funds.
I always thought it would be cool if we could get gambling scratch cards like the US loto has. I would only want to be gambling 0.1 mbtc but a physical card to scratch would be cool I like it! I've opened a topic about it: [IDEA] Physical Bitcoin Scratch Cards.

Are you see which date a last transaction to this address??? 2014 !!! This addresses no more under my control, maybe that was addresses from vircurex or MtGox. The address is from a wallet that allows you to sign a message. Otherwise it couldnt' have your nickname as tag on blockchain.com. I will write to forum administrator to delete negative trust points. Trust is not moderated.

If you'd like to fix that: wrap the HTML in <div class="post">...</div> and use the following CSS: Thanks! The "div class post" part is there already, I never removed it. I'll make some more adjustments, I was lazy using some headers from the forum HTML, but I'll recreate them on my own. I've named it suchmoon.css I'm creating a new post to test the new version. I'm also adding some code Update: see http://loyce.club/archive/posts/5190/51903915.html

February 22, 2020: All updates are now live! August 12, 2020: I finished scraping all oldposts!
Ever wanted to see who's lying when a post has been edited or deleted? I may be able to help! I archive most posts within seconds after they are created (before any edits). I started this data collection around the time I started this topic. All data I have since then is available online. I also have older posts: I've saved (most) unedited posts (6.2 million posts) since September 12, 2018, until the start of this topic. This data has not been added to this topic, and I can't really add it because I tried to remove quotes and that has some bugs. You can request to dig up unedited data when needed.Viewing unedited/deleted postsHow to use itJust click one of the links, and enter the msgID, userID or topicID. Or (this older method still works): - Find the msgID, userID or topicID you need. Let's use msgID 51902990.
- Remove the last 4 digits from the msgID to get the directory name (if there are 4 or less digits, use 0): 5190.
- Put everything together behind the (above) URL and add ".html": https://loyce.club/archive/posts/5190/51902990.html.
Details- Files are stored with their msgID, userID or topicID as file name. I remove the last 4 digits to create the directory name. Each directory contains up to 10,000 HTML-files. Use CTRL-F to find what you're looking for.
- I don't scrape hidden boards (such as Investigations).
- I don't keep post titles
- I save raw HTML, including quotes
- If I run out of disk space, I might create compressed archives per 10,000 posts.
- Although I plan to preserve all data, I make no guarantees. Feel free to archive posts.
- My current (sponsored) webhost has enough storage space for years to come.
- All scrape-times use Amsterdam time (CET).
- Usually, I capture at least 99.95% of all posts. Server or internet connection problems can severely reduce this.
Examples
Older postsSneak preview: https://loyce.club/archive/oldposts/How to use: - Find the msgID you need. Let's use 28228
- Remove the last 5 digits from the msgID to get the directory name (if there are 5 or less digits, use 0): 0
- Replace the last 2 digits of the msgID by xx, and add .html (if there are 5 or less digits, use 0xx): 282xx.html
- Add "#msg" and the msgID: #msg28228
- Put everything together and go to https://loyce.club/archive/oldposts/0/282xx.html#msg28228
Limitations- Currently, the first 6.1 million posts are available.
- I'll scrape the first 5.21 million topics and all posts in there.
- That means I'll archive 53.36 million posts, this partially overlaps with my scraper for new posts.
- This is a one-time thing, I won't update it with newer posts (I scrape unedited versions for those).
- The time "scraped on" is Amsterdam time.
If no username is mentioned, it's either "Anonymous" or "random". I forgot those exist when I started scraping, and it's not important enough to start over. If anything goes wrong, let me know here.

It's a terrible idea. You can't demand to remove a scam accusation before resolving the issue. That's not how any of this works.

Tag these DTs first and show us you are not afraid and fair. 2) johhnyUAjohhnyUA is no longer on DT2, he was/is included by kzv, but is now excluded by suchmoon and DarkStar_.

It's not really a guide, so I haven't added it. I accidentally sent you 3 Merit. I wanted to send 2, but my hand was one position to the right on the keyboard, and I only noticed it after I clicked Send.I didn't add this. I think it's too generic, and I don't expect the people who still don't know they shouldn't install untrusted software to read this. Loyce, could you change 'The Lightning Network FAQ' link to this one? Also, I'm probably going to write a few threads about other second layer scalling solutions after I have finished a guide on LN wallets. Will you create a seperate section for them or rename the LN section? How's this? I expect the need for a Bitcointalk Layer 2 child board to only increase

how to do this? which old address your mean? I couldn't find any old Bitcoin address in your post history, but archive.org shows 1P4QrAHTrzSFZRfzwTQoTQx4DZjWzRpxH9 in your signature on October 25, 2012.
