1843  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Just HODL art poster print (limited to 50 worldwide, signed and numbered) on: October 22, 2017, 01:35:22 AM
bump, anybody else want a print?  Smiley

I want a print, but I am having a hard time justifying the price of $35 for just a print. Is there anything special about this? Because to me it looks like I can go to staples and have this printed for a few bucks. Grant it I see it is signed and numbered but anyone can do that?

We don't release our large file sizes, so you'd have a pretty pixelated image if you tried to print it yourself.  Staples prices for a 24x36 print are actually $33.  And this one is limited, signed, and numbered.  Many of our prints that we offer as limited end up selling out over the course of a few months and they become highly sought after.

Please note we also use a very heavy cardstock; it feels almost like a postcard.  We do not use cheap paper, like the mass-produced prints you'd find in a local store.  Our paper is a 100 lb, 100-year archival with a beautiful 250 gsm rating, which allows for deeper colors and textures.   Cool

It is not a canvas print. We do offer canvas, but they are much more expensive, as they are much more difficult to make (prepping, printing, mounting, framing, packaging, etc.)
1844  Economy / Goods / [WTS] now accepting Bitcoin as payment for our art prints on: October 22, 2017, 01:27:31 AM
Our web hosting provider, Squarespace, doesn't have the ability to allow us to input our wallet address and accept Bitcoin.

But that hasn't stopped me from moving forward with accepting not only Bitcoin, but Ethereum and Litecoin as well.  And just like Satoshi's original vision, there's no third party required - peer to peer transactions.

Very happy to be accepting BTC now for not only crypto art prints, but ALL of our inventory; art, collectibles, etc.  We make a variety of prints from pop culture, science, space, history, and even crypto.  You can check out our art prints here on this page:  http://www.lynxartcollection.com   Smiley
1845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Bubble that is just waiting to pop? 6000/8000!! really? on: October 21, 2017, 08:39:42 PM
Hey Guys,

I have invested into BTC quite a bit, when talking to family and friends about its potential etc. many are against it and say it's a bubble waiting to pop.

What are your thought on this? the price has gone ridiculously high from since the beginning of this year and the general vibes on here are that it is going to hit 8000 by year end!
Question is how long before it pops and will it be a be bang drop or gradual ect...

Thanks! Shocked Roll Eyes

honestly that's like saying gold was in a bubble when it was 1% the price of what Bitcoin is now.  Compare the market cap of Gold (or anything, like Bonds) to BTC and you'll see that we are actually early adopters, believe it or not  Shocked

1848  Economy / Speculation / Re: This guy predicts bitcoin to be $20,000 in 2 years. What do you think? on: October 20, 2017, 01:16:01 AM
$20K by December 2018.  It's doubled in value 3 times in ONE year.  If it did it again, it would actually be $40K in just one year from now.  One can dream  Cheesy

1850  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will Bittrex provide tax documents at the end of the year, or am I responsible? on: October 19, 2017, 10:28:56 PM
Will they provide a document stating my total gains or losses, or am I responsible for totaling these things up and reporting them?  I did a lot of trading earlier in the year and I can't find a simple solution for totaling anything; almost looks like a nightmare.
Trading means little, just add up your deposits and withdrawals see which is bigger and report the difference, that's your profit or loss.

Remember unless it's a deposit or a withdrawal, then you haven't actually made a trade, it's all within the virtual world of the exchange and what you think you have done isn't real until you withdraw it.

great point. but what about if i withdrew it to a hardware wallet?  That's still technically virtual and not any real earnings then, right?

1852  Economy / Collectibles / Re: It's all coins, bars, notes... Any other in series collectables? on: October 19, 2017, 08:05:33 PM
Hello all! I've always loved collecting, and getting coins of every year in a row was a big deal to me. But every collectible I see is supposed to bear crypto. What else is there? Are there no other crypto-related collectibles that aren't meant to bear currency?

not sure if you're an art fan, but we just released this piece:  https://lynxartcollection.com/cryptocurrency/to-the-moon-bitcoin-guy-vs-fiat-money-guy-rollercoaster-poster

And we're working on several more art pieces over the coming months, all of which are limited and signed/numbered.  Smiley

I messaged him awhile ago for that, the lowest numbers available all 3 poster sizes, and one of the largest canvases

He was saying that he wants three posters in total, each poster numbered #21 (#21 of each size).  You were wanting the lower numbered ones which we still have.   Smiley
