For example, Meralco told Maliksi that they will trade him but in the exit interview, Maliksi said he wants to stay with the team. Will it change Meralco's plan and decide to keep him instead? The same goes for other players and staff.
This exit interview is pure of non-sense by Meralco. As if that will change the future of the players to stay on the team.
I agree with you, this exit interview is non-sense IMO. Whatever the players will/have said in the interview would not change the plan of the management if ever there is because the talent level of the players won't improve through interviews, the management has to trade so that they can get the positions they want to fill in. Yes, both make the weight, Valdez looks very serious though and tense in the weigh-in, while Shakur is all smiles and very confident about the fight. This is going to be a good fight, and it's really hard to predict what will be the outcome. I haven't put my bet yet to be honest. Although most of the users here have chosen Oscar Valdez to win this fight but this is a fight where I have a hard time choosing whom to bet on. You can't hurt what you can't hit, that's what I'm thinking right now and I'm skeptical about how can Oscar Valdez could hurt Shakur in this fight but looking at the odds which is too attractive for me, I'm going for Oscar to win this fight. I just found this on my social media feed but I do think that there is some truth to it and this could have a big impact on this series because, without Embiid, point production of the Sixers is scarce, I mean they will miss the almost 30 points a game that Joel could give them. |

I will go with the Heat on this series. One question though, are the Heat healthy? I thought that Lowry is injured?
Anyhow, even if Lowry is injured or not, I will still bet on the Heat, in terms of experience, they already have it, the core of 2020 against the Lakers is still intact, plus they have a deeper bench than the Heat. As for the Sixers, they were extended by the Raptors and almost on the brink of elimination if they have lost the last game. So they are not built mentally, they have Joel Embid, but if you look at the series against the Raptors, if Joel is sitting and taking a rest, the team doesn't have a offense, and James Harden is inconsistent. As compare to the Heat wherein they have options like Bulter, Bam or even Herro and Robinson to shoot from outside.
You have a point there mate, the Heat has a deeper bench than the Sixers and the inconsistency of James Harden almost cost them the series against the Raptors, they are having a hard time producing points when Joel is on the bench, so I think the Heat have an edge on this series unless a major injury would happen to Heat stars. |

He can't be an import in the PBA because he is a Filipino so he can play as a local if he wants to. Yup, there's a hype on Kai Sotto that is why he decided to enter the draft but it remains to be seen if he can be drafted as the drafting process in the NBA is very much different from the PBA, I mean in the NBA they really look for talent that will fit for there team. I have seen players who have a profile same as Kai but don't prosper in the NBA so I think he will just end up the same. But I also hope that destiny would be good to Kai and he became the first pure-blooded Filipino to be drafted into the NBA so good luck to him. |

In a bet right now I think I would go for VALDEZ, I would appeal to Valdez to manage his times more, resist and make him enter his field so that he can dominate, for me that is what will happen.
Either by KO or by Decision, the odds for backing Valdez are too tempting while betting for Shakur is not attractive at all, especially the ML. The fight will be on the weekend already and below are some options/markets on how to bet for the fight and I guess many will go for Oscar with the figures shown below. Many analysts have said that Shakur is just too quick for Oscar but I think the latter could catch him in the middle rounds when Shakur is already tired and that might be the time Oscar will do damage to Shakur.  |

In that series against the Nets, I underestimated the Celtics too much thinking that Jason Tatum might falter again just like last season but I'm wrong. The Celtics showed their fans that they could play good defense too as it is the defense that could bring them to the Finals.
Without Middleton on the wings, the Bucks will be having a hard time producing points as the Celtics will try to limit the offense of Giannis, hard to do but they were able to do that against KD so I think it would be the Celtics to get the W in this series.

Per my favorite bookies, not yet but definitely this will be covered. Honestly, I don't trust Magsayo completely in this fight as I was a bit disappointed with the way he fight in his previous fight although he won. I don't know this Vargas but if Magsayo will not improve his style, I think he will experience his first defeat.
Same here. Magsayo got a lot of help from luck for me because if Russell was not injured the outcome could be different on that night but Magsayo might have reviewed the tape and for sure they will adjust on what's need to be done against this taller and dangerous Rey Vargas. |

The thing with Vargas, he has defended his WBC super bantamweight belt five times before deciding to move up in weight to face Magsayo which could make him the favorite to win this fight in the bookies IMO. No odds yet for this fight but i think Rey Vargas will be the favorite so this could be exciting for Filipino fight fans.

According to Daily Tribune PH sports columnist Ian Suyu, as per Meralco Bolts' Head Coach Norman Black, the team will conduct an exit interview with its players starting today, April 25, 2022. For who are those players, we don't know. One thing is for sure, they want to revamp their roster next conference.
For me, they are already good and seeing their roster, they have one of the best rosters in the league especially if it's an All-Filipino Cup. They don't need a revamped but just utilized their players and give others more minutes. Since there will be no import next season, it might be easy for Coach Norman to test some rotation.

This is my first to hear such news regarding exit interviews on a basketball team. I thought exit interviews will be done only to those who have already tendered their resignation, this is weird for me. IMO, Meralco Bolts is not a championship team in the PBA, they are just lucky to be in the Finals because of their very talented import same with NLEX, the priority of their company is TNT but if they are serious in this one then it's good and I think it will start with the coaching staff. Agree that they are already good, it's just that some of the players lack exposure and the playing time. I wonder why Mac Belo has not been playing heavy minutes considering that this guy is very talented. So yeah, the coaching staff should start experimenting with the locals next conference and see what works for them. |
