863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 10, 2023, 09:39:22 PM
For that to happen, Nghitumbwa should gather all the luck in the world and bring it on that fight just to make Casimero kneel down or worse, kiss the canvass because if he's not that lucky then I think it is already safe to assume that his fate is already predicted as there's no way he can upset the former champion, Casimero. I mean, we surely can weigh the difference of their power just by looking at their records and this Nghitumbwa still haven't got any good calibers in his record that he defeated.

All that Nghitumbwa defeated were his neighbors in his place they said hehe. Even though the former had some power but i think this would not be enough to bring down Casimero. He is not used to fighting in a foreign land which would be a big factor because you will not be comfortable with a hostile crowd plus the fact that the judges here would be biased toward Casimero because this is his fight.

If you look at the vlogs of Casimero where they post some of their training/jogging, it seems that Team Casimero is so relaxed and has no pressure at all, this is a good sign for me going into this tune-up fight.

Just sharing a snap shot from the vlog of Casimero showing Quadro Alas and the Filipino Flash having a serious conversation  Smiley.

There are rumors that Donaire would help in the training of Casimero here in Cebu but with his coming fight with Alejandro, i don't think that it would materialize due to time constraints.

Nevertheless, it is a welcome sight for both of them training in the same gym.

Good news for Filipino boxing fans, because we have a new champion in Marlon Tapales who beat and shocks Murodjon Akhmadaliev to wrestle his two belts with a majority decision with, 115-113 for Tapales and then one judge score it a lopsided 118-110 for Akhmadaliev (maybe he is on the payroll, hehehe). Both started slow but it was more of Tapales outworking him the middle to the later rounds and Akhmadaliev have signs of ring rust. And Marlon showing his shoulder roll

And now we have a new champion at 122 lbs, and Tapales or at least the winner of the Fulton and Inoue will be all go out for a super bantamweight unification fight later or early next year.
Yes! Finally! 2 belts in line, 2 belts taken away by Marlon Tapales and he is going home with proud countrymen all rooting for him to win this one.
This is a good sign for Filipino boxers and should also boost Nonito Donaire because he will be the next one to bring home another title.

All my bets won today. Thank you Tapales. It's really worth the risk. Flexing it here.

I actually missed the fight because I was busy watching the UFC, now I am just watching the replay and analyzing how he got thru the heavy favorite Akhmadaliev.

Wow, congrats on your big win mate. I missed all the boxing fights today as i'm out of town, i could also bet the same as yours.

Nevertheless, congrats to Tapales for unifying the WBA and IBF super bantamweight title. That was a close one but still a win so Filipinos are proud of him but the road to unifying all the belts is an uphill climb as either Inoue or Fulton is waiting in the wings which will make him the huge underdog if ever that happens in the future.

Expecting that TNT will bring everything here and will compete with high morale using the crowd's cheers for the opponents as a good boost to lift the spirit of winning the game.

All will depend on how both teams will perform later. The odd is close @1.78 for Gin kings and @1.96 for TNT.

The crowd is a big help indeed as this game is on the bag for Ginebra with them leading by 18 points with 8 minutes to go.

Though Gray having an off night as he shoots 1 out of 14 from the field but Malonzo is having a spectacular night helping Brownlee produce points for the Kings.

Cstand, the leading candidate for BPC is having his usual number with 14 points at the moment.

Like i said i would be rooting for the Katropa on game2, hope the bookies will still put them as the underdog.
868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Shuichiro Yoshino April 8 on: April 09, 2023, 11:52:39 AM
Another one-sided dominant performance by Shakur Stevenson. They are already trying to build up Shakur vs. Haney. If Haney beats Lomachenko, they will be expected to fight each other and I think the winner should then be considered the best pound for pound fighter in the world. As good as Crawford and Spence are, they have waited too long to make that fight and I think these younger guys are surpassing them by trying to get the best fights made instead of hiding behind promoters.
It's really crazy for Shakur to fight with the best of the best lightweight boxer, a huge challenge for him. Well I'm not really sure if the winner will be considered the best pound for pound boxer in the world because both Usyk and Inoue haven't lose yet. I think Inoue will become the best pound for pound boxer in the world if he able to beat Stephen in Fulton in his upcoming fight.

As we can see Shakur doesn't have a lot power, but with his stamina and speed he can win via TKO in this fight.

This fight was made in order for Shakur to look good and they were successful as he dominated and toyed the Japanese Yoshino but still Top Rank will be having trouble finding Shakur an opponent that could earn him the respect of the boxing community, don't get me wrong but with Shakur fighting a nobody in the lightweight division is so boring to watch but I hope that it will change in his next few fights.

Congrats to those who bet for Shakur to win via TKO, that would be 3.xx if I'm not mistaken.

Good luck sa ating lahat at happy Easter betting.

870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: April 08, 2023, 09:40:24 PM
And speaking about this fight, Casimero  for sure might be back on his trash talking and his brandish style. I haven't check his social media though as to what he is going to say or his prediction in this fight. But for sure, he is going to aim for a knockout victory and make a statement as we have been saying in this division.
No doubt about that, it's not Casimero if it won't be like that. I'm sure this will be an easy win and expect a knockout result but let's see how his performance is after his last controversial fight which is good one.
Casimero may do trash talk again but he definitely knows how to proved it up especially when his opponent is not as impressive and famous fighter as he is. Surely, this fight might be an easy win for him, but let’s  not also underestimate the performance of his opponent. He might be an exciting fighter that may give Casimero a good and competitive fight.

I guess that's why he loves to trash talk, definitely he can back it up, but he wanted to play mind games as well. So that's how good Casimero in my opinion, just like what he did when he called Inoue and almost made the fight.

And I think up to this day, he is still looking for that big fight against Inoue.

But it had to wait for the meantime, he has a fighter in front of him and he needs to win this thru knockout and as what the majority says, because that will be a statement and sending his message to all rank fighters here that he will be a threat for the belt.

I forgot on when Casimero became a trash talker but I definitely agree that he can walk the talk and he is still undefeated since he captured that belt against Tete, correct me if I'm wrong.

But we should not forget that even if he is a trash talker, the guy has a good heart outside of the ring and he has helped a lot of people in their community when the pandemic hits.

For him to be able to fight Inoue, he should have a belt to depend to as that belt will give him a little leverage and that would start now by knocking out his opponent come May 13.
871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: April 07, 2023, 11:11:40 PM
Game 7 might not be ideal if Ginebra wants to take this championship, because TNT will be more deadly this finals for sure and Ginebra should be more greedy as much as possible. I'm placing my bet to Ginebra, they usually win the game 1 and I know they can make it again. This is gambling after all, there's a risk and anything can happen so be ready for the result and yes just enjoy this finals.
Both teams will be more eager to win, so its possible for a game 7 but let's stop the rumors about making more money that's why they are pushing the game up to game 7, this is a different team and as we all know TNT are more eager to take the championship away from Ginebra. Game 1 is all about speculation, TNT have to prepare while Ginebra needs to be more consistent. I'll go for Ginebra in game 1 as well after watching the previous game between TNT and Ginebra, for sure Ginebra wants to bounce back from that loss.

Backing Ginebra in the first game is a good idea since they have the crowd advantage and it is a Sunday so we expect a sellout here even if it's only game1. Japeth Aguilar will not be playing according to reports but the emergence of Gray and Malonzo is a big boost to Ginebra's campaign this conference so yeah it's a good pick.

Meanwhile I have read rumors that SMB big man Fajardo is on the trading block, do you guys have any thought on this rumor?

873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 07, 2023, 05:23:14 PM
Nghitumbwabis the underdog in this match up. If it is just stats and experience, Riel Casimero has the advantage for sure. But what seems to be interesting is their fighting strategies wherein both are not knockout machines and both prefer taking time to secure the win. I wouldn't personally bet on this one 'coz I am not really familiar with Casimero's opponent aside from his win-loss record. But this is just to give my insight with this match up. Both are orthodox boxers which is what we often see. Most likely, the outcome would be through unanimous decision given that none of them are really agressive inside the ring, unless changes would be made. Would still be a mtch up which is interesting.

I seldom speculated a fight to not reach the distance but with this fight, I'm putting my money that this fight will not reach seven rounds. Casimero will go all out here to impress his fans and promoter and putting this opponent to sleep is the target which is very possible because of his opponent's lack of experience.
874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 06, 2023, 08:16:00 PM
That just shows that Gervonta Davis is always one step ahead in-terms of deal against Ryan Garcia's camp. The latter may got his favored 136 catchweight bout but Tank's camp also got an ace on their sleeve for giving the latter's camp a rehydration clause so that they can't maximize their advantage. And there's this rematch clause that only favors Davis which will only usable if ever he will get defeated, so that Garcia can't run for it.

By the way, thanks for sharing this information mate. I just learned from you that there is also a rematch clause in this bout.

I think it is not just the rematch will only happen if Davis loses this one, it also includes that Team Davis still has the leverage or will have the more money if ever that happens which I see to be a slim possibility because of that rehydration clause.

Ryan Garcia needed so much this fight that is why he give in to whatever Davis' demanded as this won't happen if one of Davis' conditions won't be met. I tend to believe that Ryan will just rely on his haymaker in the hopes that if it will land and KOs Davis.
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: April 06, 2023, 07:51:23 PM

Gin kings have all the upper hands here. If they will really push personally, they can also sweep TNT, just saying.

That seems a bit harsh. I don't think it's likely that Ginebra will sweep TNT, as they are a competitive team with players like Jason Castro and a good import. Additionally, Mikey Williams is always capable of providing a spark for the team. It will be an exciting and competitive series for sure.

Both teams have had a big break before the Finals. They should be fully prepared for their first game this coming Sunday. Although it's difficult to predict the outcome, Sunday's game is sure to have plenty of fans watching, particularly the Ginebra game. Since this is the Finals, the team can expect huge support, so I believe that Ginebra will likely win Game 1.
For sure that both team's are now preparing for their first game in the finals as we can see that they have 1 week to prepare and that is enough for them as we all know that both team are have a strong lineup of the players and by the help their imports they will be more aggressive and confident. And in my own in Sunday I have the gots that Baranggay Ginebra will win the first game.

For me, predicting the winner of the first game of this series is so hard because like I have said before that this is a 50-50 series and either team could become a champion so I'll just wait for the result and bet on game2 as the loser will surely adjust and have the high chance of winning game2.
876  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: April 06, 2023, 07:33:08 PM

Yong back to back games at yong laking dahilan Kay nagkaganon yong laro nga Lakers kahapon.
877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 06, 2023, 07:18:03 PM
@goldkingcoiner, agree with you mate that stats could help some users here to have some understanding or idea about this relatively unknown opponent of Casimero, I'll just update the OP if I have the time as I'm busy at the moment IRL,

I don't think that there will be an upset here because such thing could derail the plan of Casimero's promoter of him having a big fight in the near future, this will be an easy fight for him.
878  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: April 04, 2023, 11:57:11 PM
https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nba/news/why-no-nba-games-monday-2023-ncaa-tournament-championship/wcdvrzxzd04h4h8rf8hwnlad

Maraming salamat sa research kabayan, championship na pala ng NCAA kaya pala maraming newsfeed sa social media account ko about this NCAA thing hehe.

Back to the ballgame:

Lakers -5.5 @1.92 vs Jazz

879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: April 04, 2023, 11:43:30 PM
OP @bisdak40 should change the date on the title, it's not May 3 it's May 13 people may think that the fight is over when it's still 8 days to go Casimero is all hype on this fight he wants to give his local fans something they will really enjoy, his last four fights are held abroad and last time he fought in the Philippines was in 2019 so I expect Casimero to knock Nghitumbwa to please the local fans its part of his comeback fight to regain the title if he is serious in his weight management he will be champion again.

Update:  my bad I think I still have an April fools day hang up on me but still the date should be May 13 not May 3

Thanks for the heads up mate.

Will change the title reflecting the final date of the fight now.

Per interview of Casimero here in Cebu, there is an ongoing negotiation for him to fight Inoue this December, heard it directly on his mouth so this might be true or maybe another April Fools act hehe
880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 03, 2023, 09:38:19 PM
If there's a rematch clause and they agreed to do that Ryan has to make people believe that he can beat Davis if based on your speculation that Davis outclassed and knocked him out, but if the scenario is like a Romero where Garcia is dominating the whole fight then one punch puts the lights out of Garcia then the boxing community will be happy to have a rematch and could possibly beat the first one in terms of sales and profits.
I don't think this fight will be close and end in a decision because both fighters just need to land their best punch to make the fight over, both fighters' strategy is they need to land the first hardest punch.

Regardless of who will be the winner of this one, i think the rematch won't happen in a year or two because of Tank Davis' sentencing that will happen after this fight and the probability of him being jailed is too high but if a rematch is to happen i think Davis still has the leverage on that one even if he loses the first fight.

Yeah, this fight will end via knockout (just my prediction) and it will be Ryan Garcia who will be sleeping in the canvass this time hehe. That rehydration clause is too much for him and he will only be taller but not bigger that Davis come fight night.
