1841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Value on: August 21, 2017, 06:29:39 AM
Hi Guys! Do you think the Bitcoin value will be worth more than 5000 Dollars at the end of 2017? Let me know your opinion :-)

There is new circulating that there will be another hardfork of Bitcojn this November in response to the NYA regarding SegWit2x so like BCH being an obstacle then we will see after that when the obstacle in the path wpuld clear up and see another rise after this. I really hate this HFs popping up though the good thing is you get free bitcoins.

You can try signing a message. You might want to check this out.
I dont have any address staked on that account. All I have is the original email but I cant recover it since Sorry, this account has not yet been approved. If you need to change your email address please click here. of that error. Email is hotmail and no staked add, pmed cyrus about this hope he can help
Then that would be futile to recover your account. The admins may consider other method of proving that you own the said account aside from signing a message but they rarely recover it.

Regarding the ETH address that is under you control, is it from myetherwallet.com or from an exchanger? If it is from myetherwallet.com then you can sign a message from it.

1845  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are hardfork's jeopardising Bitcoin's ideal of "limited supply"? on: August 21, 2017, 02:32:31 AM
No. Bitcoin and BitcoinCash are two different coins, digital currency or cryptocurrency. Bitcoin has different market so thus BitcoinCash. Also there is only one Bitcoin and one BitcoinCash. You shouldn't interchange these two coins. Bitcoin's supply has a capped of 21M and it can never be changed and so thus BitcoinCash having 21M cap like Bitcoin. I constructed my post like this for you to get the context that these two are different things.

Those are usually either Emojis or UTF8 Symbols. You can use http://www.iemoji.com for emojis or http://www.utf8-character.info/ for UTF8

Or you can try using your smart phone. 🔥🔥🔥

Being all that said, the project is successful..
I don't see anything successful about it.
What is your definition of a successful project? As I can see it, the project has been launched successfully and been listed to some exchanger sites where its value is growing as well as the volume. Well, I don't mean success like they accomplished everything in their roadmap if you think so. If the project is launched successfully i.e. reaching their cap and distributed the tokens then I would consider it as a project that is successfully launched to be precise.

I tagged him for two reasons: 1) Shady ICO (followed ibminer).
I think he already proves that his project is not shady at all, isn't he? If still is shady, can you point those out?

2) Blackmail.
By how? Let's be specific. Or maybe this blackmail is just a trade of insults and accusations but nothing more which will deal real harm to you?

I think one has to accept Crypto escrow team as mandatory official escrow for being exempted from red tagged. Wow this forum is really decentralised.  Cheesy
No project ever has been tagged for not using CET.
The fact is most likely you will get tagged for not using escrow especially if they think that your project is shady or what. There are campaigns out there who doesn't have escrow, don't they? 3x2 is just mocking you and other DT members who he thinks is acting all high though I can't say if it is true or not, what do you think?
1849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] HashRush Game — Signature & Translation Campaign. on: August 21, 2017, 01:52:34 AM
@Dobri, as far as I understood, first you will get points for your various activities. At the end of the promotion period, RC tokens would be distributed proportional to our points. You would need to have a ethereum wallet to collect those tokens. You can use myetherwallet for that. Don't use coinbase address, it does not receive tokens. Also you can buy the tokens directly now from Pre ICO and then from ICO.

You did not understand me. I didn't mean it. I know what wallet to use. I want to get my RC tokens, as stated in the bounty of the company blogs. I wrote an article, and published it. Then filled the Google form https://goo.gl/forms/sPBfg57IikGdtL7k2 as noted in the company. After that nobody contacted me and I don't know my article was approved or not. For example: a twitter company I can look at this link https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11btC1Cd3rtrCWeEdQJSM4-0OdIaR6-bKWwRO_6Wb9Us/edit#gid=597340552 And by the way, a week has passed, i still have not been added to the twitter company. In short, here is a complete mess with a bounty company. I have to strain to find himself in a particular list. I'm very disappointed with your incompetence. One gets the impression as if you are afraid to give an extra token RC. Although you make them out of thin air, and the success of your company depends on your generosity. In short, I'm disappointed, and I'm sure most users will support me.

Haven't you read? They don't update the spreadsheet regularly and they only update it atleast once a week during sunday or monday. Also once you registered then you can start or to be sure you want to see your name in the spreadsheet. The RC tokens will be distributed after the stakes of the participants are counted at the end of the ICO which is around October.
1850  Other / Meta / Re: 2FA to Active on Bitcointalk Forum (Requested to Admin) on: August 20, 2017, 05:49:54 AM
email is not going to be a very useful method of 2FA (when used alone) most of the time. This is especially true considering a "real" email address is not required to register/use the forum.

Google authenticator is a better 2FA method, although it would require users to own a smartphone, which some may not. A signed message may be a good way to use 2FA, either with a Bitcoin address, or a GPG key - maybe this could be one option when the new forum is put into production.

Then the forum should make a confirmation email to be considered that it is officially registered then it would be possible to use 2FA using email but I agree more via signed message since it is muh secure to use.
1851  Other / Meta / Re: My Rep Trust Petition on: August 20, 2017, 04:05:27 AM
I can't even see the image on the link Lauda peovided for some reason.
Take a look at the top image:

I'm still waiting for proof for these *alleged activities*. Roll Eyes

Well I see irony here. Deja is accusing you of being an alt account of whatever or whoever with no proof while on the other hand you painted him red with no proof but rather an accusation (but not speculation) though I would say it has its basis since it is suspicious like what others also stated wayback a time ago. Being all that said, the project is successful and had proven itself being real so I think that you guys who gave him a negative review are proven wrong then I think a man should learn to set aside their ego and correct the wrongs.

Anyway, if you still have any suspicions then Deja is willing to provide proofs, isn't he?

Also, you didn't paint him red because of that, isn't it? If it is a defamation then he shouldn't had pmed you but rather post it so everyone can see it.
1852  Other / Meta / Re: Old accounts: how to get one ? on: August 20, 2017, 03:51:51 AM
Sorry but I think you seem like a clown. Anyway, so you want an account for a campaign but there is a required rank which the others had suggested something. Let me warn you, post with quality and constructively because, before you get your reward on that campaign, most likely you will get kicked out, painted red, or worst be banned.
1853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Could Be the Answer to Stopping Climate Change on: August 18, 2017, 03:56:09 AM
Just a critic regarding the OP, it is lacking some direct approach of blockchain in order to stop climate change. Aside from making it more easy to interact or raise funds like as what you said, it is talking how blockchain can indirectly help in stopping climate change greatly. Lets's take for an example, a more direct answer for blockchain technology:

In a practical way, blockchain can help fight climate change because through online transactions,we won't need to produce paper bills and contracts which actually contributes to deforestation. Also, blockchain can help fund projects and campaigns to help reduce climate change.

A way to minimize the use of paper money which is made by cutting down some trees is an example of a direct answer. Well, obviously this fact still doesn't contain enough impact. Next timen if you make something like this thread, you should balance it out from macro to micro details, from indirect and direct answers, and from least to the best solution it can offer.

EDIT: Oh! I see. You are planning to lauch a "climatecoin" so you better make a better impression next time and convince people more as to how great the impact will your project bring to stop climate change. Your post, as I said, is lacking.
1854  Other / Meta / Re: Default trust depth should be set to 3 on: August 18, 2017, 03:32:57 AM
We need Satoshi's vision here guys Cheesy we need BIG Wu to fork us a new forum. since anyone with a red tag is treated like an excon it is unfair to let just one person decides to label people, we need juries to decide.
If a single DT member tags someone their color should be yellow instead of red until all the members of jury verify that the tag was legit.

I like the idea but I would like to add some details. Let's take for example that a DT member had tagged the account then that member will be painted red though there is no solid proof to prove the negative review given that it is purely a speculation since it has no grounds then that is where the jury will review the case and will have the power to either remove the given rating or make it a more solid review to the user. The question is: who will comprise the jury?

Also, jury shouldn't act all high of course hence we needed an official set of rules as how should a trust be given especially for DT members. There is this DT member who is giving red trust for a speculation and when he is asked to remove the said rating since he has no basis, he said that he should be the one to prove. Isn't it the other way around? You shouldn't give a feedback with a heresay. The feedback should have a basis and not just a gut feeling. In connection with this official set of rules regarding trust ratings, the decision of the jury will revolve there whether to deem the case with basis or not since there is no problem as long as it has a proof then that would be the end of the argument but with a trust rating with no ground then that is where the conflict and unrighteousness begins.
1855  Other / Meta / Re: Busy, try again (504) on: August 17, 2017, 01:33:25 PM
I also got this problem for about an hour or two before I get to use the forum now. It seems like I am not the only one experiencing this problem.
1856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What made 'Bitcoin' the Bitcoin it is today? on: August 17, 2017, 05:31:02 AM
What made Bitcoin so successful? How couldn't altcoins like defeat it at the early stages? Is it because of the overwhelming support of the community that made bitcoin what it is today?
Considering its the first digital currency or cryptocurrency exist wayback before into those years. It might not get the attention directly from most people but there are some who do believe on its potential and Satoshi did really make a great innovation when it comes into payment system which we do see on its white paper on whats the purpose of the creation of bitcoin and now we are witnessing its success.

I'll correct some points. Bitcoin is not the first digital currency but it is the first decentralized digital currency or cryptocurrency.

In response to the OP, Bitcoin today is comprised of Bitcoin's failures in the past. Bitcoin,in its early years, has undergo some bugs and security issues but as the time goes by it is layered by multiple fold of securoty and a lot of developers who worked hard makimg it impregnable and impossible to hack since computational prowess we have today can't break it and it can be broken with the supercomputers developed in the future but at that time the security has increased multiple folds as what it was today making it impregnable due to constant development.
1857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really secure? on: August 17, 2017, 05:18:00 AM
I don't know if guys above me had answered it but I just want to input my own words. Bitcoin's blockchain or the system itself is comprised of a lot of layers in terms of security which no computational prowess can hack it and it will be in a far future to build a supercomputer to overcome this though in the future the security would increase by multiple fold by then since Bitcoin is continuosly developing so basically it is impregnable.

If you are talking about wallet providers then it is exposed to risks if your private keys are exposed so you need to keep it in a secure place. In terms of hot wallet (web wallet), this might be the one who is on the lowest level in terms of security since you are not in control of your private keys.
1858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Air Fair using Bitcoins on: August 17, 2017, 05:10:41 AM
I read an article about this before although I don't recall the airlines who will accept it (might be Japan or Korea). My answer is why not? I don't see any bad side for the traveler buying plain tickets with Bitcoin, the only downside I see to that is of course your Bitcoin address will be link to you as personal information is required when riding the plane specially the flights to other countries. If being linked with your Bitcoin address is non of your concern than you are good to go.

It's in Japan. Also you can always have a bitcoin address for these kind of transactions that will expose that you own this. You can still have a private Bitcoin address that can never be linked to you and there are a lot of mixers out there to make it happen.
1859  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need to post images for an announcement - does not work on: August 17, 2017, 05:03:19 AM
Is
You are a newbi member so that it is not possible from your account. It is only possible when you will get the full member and reached at 120 activities.
Incorrect. The moment you reach Jr. Member, the images will appear that's 30 activities which can be reach in just 1 and half month atleast.

Are you sure that it is 30 activities? Or do you need to be a full member?

*edit*

Ah found it, disabled due to some g*y troll haha

Yes. I am sure and the basis is the link you included in your post.
