The Politicians will try to ruin crypto and force KYC on every clean and unclean exchanges out there, this is a good opportunity for them to promote CBDC too because of this FTX fraud but I am here to tell you that FTX and Crypto are not the same things, FTX is a private company that did many bad things behind the curtain and Cryptocurrency is the most fascinating technology that humanity has ever emerge with.

Don't get it confused.

CBDC's will be implemented independently of the FTX fiasco. Government realizes they have the perfect opportunity to regulate exchanges/crypto sector using FTX as the scapegoat, when the reality is FTX was a fraudulent organization ran by corrupt leaders. So, expect regulations to come out of this, not a launch of CBDC's.

CBDC's will have the same problem FTX had, in a sense. Central authority and a reliance to trust the holder of your funds. I don't suppose it'd be prudent for the government to pitch to its citizens the same idea wrapped in a different package. Not now, at least.

I am not claiming the collapse of FTX is a government plan but it still has that ability, and they are taking this opportunity very well to enter the market and find ways to control it more tightly. Moreover, this is the perfect opportunity to promote CBDC.

But I will have the opposite opinion of you, CBDC will not have the same problem as FTX. The government will not allow CBDC to collapse or fail like FTX because they know that implementing CBDC is to their maximum benefit. It will take time and difficulty to implement CBDC, but they will not give up.
1842  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of Russian and Ukrain war on world economy on: December 21, 2022, 08:42:56 AM
What will happen during the winter season? I have seen contrasting claims. Some claim that the fighting will die down and resume when the winter season ends. Some others claim that both Russia and Ukraine have mobilized large number of reserves and therefore the fighting may intensify in the coming months. Muddy weather hampered the operation of tanks and armored vehicles in the past and this issue won't be there once the ground gets frozen. What I don't know is which of the sides will get the advantage of winter climate.

I think the war will continue because recently, the Ukrainians asked Russia to cease fire during Christmas and New Year, but the Russian has bluntly stated that there will not be any truce. Ukraine also says that Russia is preparing for a new attack. The war will not stop, and with offensive tactics focused on energy infrastructure, winter will be even more beneficial for Russia. But Ukraine is also receiving greater aid from the US and Europe from patriot air defense systems as well as electrical equipment. It is impossible to say who will prevail.
1843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: December 20, 2022, 04:34:51 PM
I think Barcelona have more chances of winning Manchester united.  Barcelona has Lewandowski who can score some number of goals, this is an advantage for Barcelona. The game will be interesting,  this are the big clubs in the Europa league.
Are there no other players you can talk about here other than Lewandowski at Barcelona? After seeing Lewandowski's performance at this year's world cup, I don't think there is more influence on a player like Lewandowski, even though he is a top player in Barcelona.
Indeed, in general, the strength of each team does not lie in its name, but always lies in its players, and Manchester United's players are not so bad this season, especially if they can have more motivation to give resistance in matches because they remember them (Manchester United ) will be against a big team like Barcelona.
I have no doubt that Lewandowski is a fantastic player. I saw Lewandowski's performance in the Bayern Munich team. A great player and he is able to score regularly. Lewandowski did not play well in the Poland team. Because the Poland team is not strong enough. It is very difficult for any player to score without the help of midfielders. Poland's midfield was not strong enough. This is why we don't see Lewandowski perform as expected. However, Barcelona's midfield is strong enough. And so I think Lewandowski's performance will be stronger in the upcoming matches with Barcelona. And he will be able to score consistently.
Lewandowski is a legend. If he was not a player of Poland team, but a player of any other good football team, his achievements would have been greatly revealed. He brought back the image of the Barcelona team after joining Barcelona.

You are right. There should be no doubt that Lewandowski is a world-class player. At least those who have seen Lewandowski perform will agree that Lewandowski is a world-class player. The Poland team is relatively weak. Without Lewandowski in this squad, they would probably have been eliminated in the first round. Poland managed to qualify for the knockout round, I think they are happy with that. If the Barcelona team is stable I think we will get consistent good performances from Lewandowski. But it needs some more time.
1844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 20, 2022, 04:23:09 PM
Roma team are the team that needs most improvements  among the top teams their recent performance is really poor they didn't win in the last three serie A games and in the friendlies they can't even beat weaker opponents they need some new players in all positions but especially in the defence and midfield.
I don't think Roma is that bad. In the end, even despite recent setbacks, they are not far behind second place. Do you practically want them to be on equal footing with the tournament favorites? But this was initially unrealistic, since they do not have such a strong team composition.
The bad thing is that now Roma will be under additional pressure from the departure of Mourinho, who seems to be leaving the club in the summer to lead the Portuguese national team.

Roma had a good start to the season. But they could not maintain consistency. And now they are seventh in the points table. They have managed to win only one of the last 5 matches. But if Mourinho leaves the team, then I think Roma's performance will decline even more. Because, a new coach needs a lot of time to stabilize the team. The new coach needs to adapt to the team's players, and then develop a stable match plan. It is quite time-consuming. So if the coach changes, it will be difficult for Roma to qualify for the Champions League.

I think 38 is not a negative for Cristiano.  We watched Zlatan again with his good performance at this age.  Ronaldo can show this performance in the same way.  It just takes a team that believes in it.  He was 37 years old last year and had done well for Manchester United.  Cristiano Ronaldo probably plans to play football until the age of 40.  Later, he can step into his coaching career.
Ronaldo has already said that he believes that 40 years is a good age to retire. I think that this can be regarded as a direct confirmation that he will not end his career earlier.
As for his possible coaching career, I'm not sure about that. He is too ambitious and demanding of himself - if he makes at least 20% of such demands on ordinary players, then this will lead to nothing but conflicts.

I think whether a player retires depends on the fitness of player. Ronaldo may not be in the best form right now, but Ronaldo's fitness is still very good. He can still be on the field for 90 minutes. And so I think he will be able to perform consistently for a few more years. He doesn't face many injuries. We have seen Ibra, even at the age of 40, he has not retired. I think Ronaldo will play for at least 40 years unless some accident happens.
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 20, 2022, 02:53:32 PM
In terms of funds and sponsors, the Dutch are in a good position. But in terms of grass roots development, they are in a horrible state. A number of cricket clubs, especially those based outside the capital region have closed down in the recent years. Two decades ago, the club players were 70% Dutch and 30% foreigner. Now it has reversed (70% expats and 30% Dutch). They are managing to stay competitive at the top level because some of the Dutch players are part of the county system (vdMerwe, vMeekeren, vdGugten, Klassen, deLeede, vBeek.etc). But the younger players are not coming through.

In order to do that, they will have to make use of the money that they are getting right now. They will need to use that to attract young players interested in playing cricket. For Netherlands, I understand that one of the biggest problems is that kids aren't very interested in playing cricket. It is time for that to change. However, if the amount of money you receive is not going to be sufficient for you in your life, you are not willing to choose that work as your profession as long as you are not receiving that amount of money.

@Kro55 while Netherland’s have grown well, but they’re yet to scale it up and if they want to achieve constant success then they need to to groom their domestic cricket player’s well. @Sithara007 I totally agree with you and it’s really baffling to see because they have the funds yet they’re unable to make good use of it to groom their young player’s, however whenever they’re able to groom them then they’ll definitely achieve great success in the T20 format.

I don't know whether the money that Netherlands is receiving is actually being used to improve the game of cricket. Because I believe Netherlands team would have been able to do better if that money had been used properly. The improvements are just not visible as they should be. In order for Netherlands to be able to compete at the top level of cricket, or even at least among the top 10, they will need to improve in many ways.
1847  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance's Alleged Crypto Audit Failed, Its Auditor Refused to Vouch For It on: December 20, 2022, 11:53:27 AM
A few questions about Binance:
1. Do you store assets on this exchange?
2. How big are they? You can not answer with numbers, at least at the level - significant for me / not significant Smiley
3. After the news about potential problems appeared - did you withdraw your assets from the exchange? If not, why do you trust Binance?

Currently, I'm just accumulating bitcoins, so I have no reason to store my assets on binance, but I still use binance for things like exchanges, and p2p transactions as needed.

I can tell you that binance is the biggest exchange in the market, and it is so big that Binance's trading volume is equal to 10 different exchanges combined. I'm not saying binance will never die, but if it crashes, we'll see bitcoin drop to $5k or less, and we'll experience a longer bearish season than ever. You can check out their assets and everything needed to prove how big it is at coingecko.
1848  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: December 20, 2022, 11:43:52 AM
I say we diversify. Not going all-in on either saving it a bank, Bitcoin, property, etc. It’s all about balance and risk management.

Yes I know that it’s really tempting to invest a lot of money on Bitcoin and other kinds of investments. The risks are high, but same as the rewards if it goes “to the moon” unlike in banks where we can only get a few percentage per annum.

Indeed we should use our money wisely and never go all-in.
Could not be more correct, diversification is the right thing to do, not going all-in into one asset even though it is safe or can give us great returns, everything is risky, so diversify to reduce and minimize risk.
But in the case that OP mentioned: $100k is idle money and has nothing to do with other living expenses, then I think we should invest and spend most of it on bitcoin investment. In the worst case, if bitcoin can't grow or crash, we will lose that money, but luckily, it doesn't affect our lives, so it's worth a try.
While the truth is I am a big bitcoin fan and supporting this coin all the way , I must admit that I also diversify from some altcoins , maybe at least 30% of my total investments are in Altcoins , so yes diversification is always best because I must say that in the past I already gain from all of my holdings.

I don't think investing in altcoins is diversification because the entire crypto market depends on bitcoin, if bitcoin crashes, the whole market will disappear. Diversification means investing in a variety of assets such as gold and real estate. But I will support you if you invest a small amount in altcoins, as we are here to make a profit and not to worship something. As long as we know what we are doing and are willing to take the risk, we can invest wherever we want.

Ronaldo is not a bad player. He is still one of the best players in the world. How will he perform well if he doesn't get enough opportunities to prove his mettle. He did not get a chance at Manchester United. He could not be with the main squad due to a conflict with Ten Hag. Ten Hag didn't help Ronaldo to bond with the players. It is difficult to adapt to the squad without the support of the coach.
Ronaldo was benched against Morocco as Ramos scored a hat-trick for Portugal. And I would say that this wrong decision by the coach is why Portugal lost against Morocco. But we don't know which team is interested in Ronaldo now. Ronaldo is old enough. The first tier clubs will therefore not want to sign Ronaldo. Because Ronaldo's wages are very high.
at this old age, CR7 is facing many problems, besides that he is currently without a club, and has problems with ten hags, in the Portuguese national team he is also not very trusted by Santos (even though Santos was eventually fired)
in the transfer market later, MU seems will buy several more players, they seem very serious about increasing again the prestige that MU had (when Sir Alex Ferguson coached MU)
the only problem Ronaldo has now is not club to sign him or his current performance, but he's wages, which you just listed in your last paragraph. Ronaldo is still good and can still complete with in any league in the world regardless his age. He's still fit to play.
Santo deserved the sack,  he humiliated Ronaldo, he knows that Ronaldo needs more time on the field to bounce back after all the emotional issues he had with man utd and the Media. Yet he benched Ronaldo in a must win match, Santo wasn't ready to win the world, how can he bench he's best player and expect to win the game. It's not possible,  Ronaldo should just reduce his wages so that top clubs can bid for him. I know any club that sign him will also benefit from him too.

Ronaldo's wages are very high. This is why many big clubs will think twice before signing Ronaldo. Moreover, not all clubs can afford Ronald's high wages. And more importantly, I doubt if the big clubs will be willing to spend a lot of money to add Ronaldo to the squad for a short period of time.

Santos insulted Ronaldo. He forgot that Ronaldo's biggest contribution to Portugal's qualification for the World Cup. Santos' stupidity is why they lost against teams like Morocco. I would say Portugal management should sack Santos and hire a new coach.

France depended on Mbappe and Mbappe single-handedly scored three goals and held Argentina to victory with three goals.  However, the rest of France's players did not play well and they missed a penalty . However, Argentina's goalkeeper was much stronger and much smarter . Mbappé was great for France and if another player like him was in the France team I think they would have won the World Cup every time. Anyway good luck to France they may play better in the next World Cup and congrats to Argentina for winning the World Cup again after many years.
France's main weakness is their over-reliance on Mbappe. There is no doubt that Mbappe is a great player. But it is very risky when the team becomes dependent on a certain player. However, Mbappe scored three goals to save France from a certain defeat today. However, they were defeated in the penalty shootout.
Martinez is a great goalkeeper we knew that. And I was sure Argentina would win if the match was a draw and went to a penalty shootout. Because I had faith in Martinez's ability. And again thanks to Martinez's brilliant save, Argentina won and became champions.
If Mbappe was not playing for France tonight, they would have been suffering a humiliating defeat as they were really bad in attack, the only attacks and goals started and ended with Mbappe,he was also the top scorer of the World Cup.France is most likely having an end to Giroud,Griezman era and they need to find new replacements for them as I doubt they would be playing the next World Cup while Mbappe is so young that he can at least play 3 other World Cups and based on his performance even 4 of them so it is normal for France to rely on him as the best player.

The France team is becoming badly dependent on Mbappe. And I agree with you that the era of Giroud, Griezmann and Benzema is over. If France cannot find suitable replacements for these three players, they will become even more reliant on Mbappe. Mbappe is a great player no doubt, but relying on the performance of just one player is risky. I doubt if France can do well in the next World Cup. Several veteran players will retire. And without a worthy replacement, France's performance will weaken.

If there is really an offer by Newcastle to Ronaldo then I think Ronaldo should absolutely accept it. I mean he should do this if he still wants to play European football. Of course I know that his priority is to play in the Champions League. However there is nothing to do about this as long as he doesn't get any offer from such team. We don't see any team like that being eager to sign a contract with him for now. Even Sporting refuted the speculations about them to be interested in Ronaldo. Besides we might see Newcastle in the Champions League in the near future as well. They have done a great work so far.

Ronaldo has a great offer on the table on one hand of course. I don't think Al-Nassr would give up on him easily. They are ready to pay whatever amount of money they need to convince him now. Ronaldo must also be aware of this as he is stalling them for now.
Ronaldo might not be fortunate enough to find a club in England that will sign him especially after having a fight with Manchester United recently.Newcastle have the money to sign and keep him at the club, but I don't think they will like to sign him,but if they are able to,he will definitely be a major addition to the squad.
Newcastle are actually in a very good form at the moment, and I hope they will still add more players to the squad they have currently if they want to retain the position they are on the league table. They are currently sitting third on the table, and will be hoping to be in the top four spot to qualify for champions league next season.
Ronaldo has had many problems this season right from his former club Manchester United to the interview that he granted. Among all the problems he went to world cup to vindicate himself but it was very unfortunate that he had more problems. He was being benched and later they were eliminated by Morocco. So Ronaldo has not actually done anything in the world cup to prove Erik Ten Hag wrong.
The Purpose of any club signing Ronaldo will be for business and not for him to play as the Ronaldo we use to know.

What really fucked France is their goal keeper,  the goal keeper didn't at all in saving goals. France played very well, if their was to be good I don't think Argentina would have won the game. The moment the game was leaving to penalties I already knew  France won't score much goals.
This is why this world cup is so amazing to me. You know the team are very good but the keeper really tried but you know I can't even imagine him stopping Messi the Goat from scoring.
Mbappe is another Goat I am happy about. He was able to score 3 goals in one match to make France proud but the penalty was a mess from his team.

You know everyone has lapses and this is why we can never be perfect. Well the match has ended and I am happy to see very supporters if Argentina happy.
Let's be happy guys 🔥🔥🔥

Hugo Lloris is a great goalkeeper. I have seen his performance in the past. But I don't know what happened to Hugo Lloris today. His performance was not really good today. I think he was under mental pressure. And so he could not perform well.

I am not satisfied with France's performance today. The bond between the players was not good. The performance of their defenders in particular was poor. Apart from Mbappe and Griezmann, I don't like the performance of any other French player today. On the other hand, although the star players in the Argentina team are comparatively fewer, the internal understanding between the players in their team is excellent. This is why they have been able to consistently perform well.
1854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 17, 2022, 02:20:12 AM
I think the key motivation for Argentina to win this World Cup is going to be Lionel Messi. The players in the Argentina squad are very motivated. They probably look at Lionel Messi and say that we have to play well for that guy. That is the biggest motivation for Argentina right now. I hope that they have a comprehensive plan heading into the final because it is not going to be easy to play against a squad such as France. The France squad is absolutely stacked with world-class players.

But honestly, I think Argentina has a good chance. For Argentina to win the World Cup, Lionel Messi will have to play very well. Probably better than what he did against Croatia. If this is the Argentina squad of 2018, I would have predicted that this is going to be a one-sided match and France is going to win. But this time Argentina looks strong.
So what happens if Lionel Messi gets Injured, gets double booking, Mmmhh ?! I honestly think they should come correct as a team and not for Lionel Messi to win the game for them alone, that will be the biggest flaw in that game over reliant on Messi to deliver them.
France are already looking for a way keep him silent in that Tchouameni can not do it alone, he would need Griezman dropping to support him.

Both Kylian Mbappe and Ousman Dembele should be very precise when attacking, taking good chances of the opportunity they have early enough will seal the game for France. It won't be an easy night I know lol.

I said that Lionel Messi is going to be the inspiration of the Argentinian squad. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the Argentina squad is going to be nothing without Lionel Messi.

In a war, if the captain dies or gets injured, it doesn’t necessarily mean the war is already lost. It is a position of disadvantage from which they have to rise up and keep fighting. It’s the same principle. If Lionel Messi does get red-carded or injured, it is not going to mean the end of the match. The Argentina squad is very capable.

Is it going to be a big disadvantage? Yes. But they will have to find a way to adapt and overcome.

The single card shown to Boufal during the Semi finals against France was biased, FIFA didn't look into that game well, the officials and VAR are damn biased.

No, I am not going to get into the conversation of if FIFA is biased or not. I think we are all grown-ups and we have a good enough knowledge about that.

From the men's T20 World Cup matches the rain problem continues. It truly disturb the viewers. Bangladesh Women isn't as good to win against New Zealand Women. Slowly the team is making progress and it takes more time to be a competent to New Zealand Women. In the first ODI managed to score 180 runs which isn't good enough, it requires atleast 250+ runs in an ODI.

In women's games the totals are not as high as the men's game. And given the bowler friendly conditions in New Zealand, I would say that a score of 220-230 would have been enough. But Bangladesh couldn't even manage that much. In both the ODIs they scored well below 200. It is sad to see the slow progress from Bangladesh, despite being awarded test status almost 23 years ago. They have remained at where they were in 1999, both in men's and women's varieties. Anyway, the last match will be played tomorrow and the Bangladeshi women will be hoping for a win.

The Bangladesh cricket board has been plagued by corruption. That is a big reason why the cricket scene in Bangladesh has basically come to a standstill right now. And I do not think that the Bangladesh cricket board is actually very interested in women’s cricket. But if we look at the achievements, we will see that the Bangladesh women’s team has actually achieved some very significant trophies. The Bangladesh women’s team is currently not very powerful. They are not even good enough to compete against the top teams.

But that is the same with the Bangladesh men’s team as well right now. Bangladesh's mainstream has improved quite a lot and the women’s team is also improving but it will take a lot more time.

The last match against New Zealand is going to be very pivotal for Bangladesh. If the Bangladesh women’s team can actually win that, that alone is going to be an achievement.
The match is live now, NZ is batting, they scored 76 in 15 over, & lost 1 wicket.
1856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 16, 2022, 03:44:48 PM

The continued growth of cricket in India is benefitting other countries. Many of the smaller teams now have sponsors based in India. Amul has been sponsoring the Irish cricket team for sometime now, and this month Indian owned IT firm SISAR (Rajaraman Santhanam is the CEO) became the official sponsors of the Dutch women's cricket team. Fairtree is the sponsor of the men's team since 2021. But the concern for Netherlands is that the ODI Super League has been scrapped by the ICC and after 2023, they won't get many matches against the test nations.

Based on all the positives and negatives that Netherlands cricket is going through right now, as well as considering the current state of cricket in the Netherlands, my opinion is that they should continue to do well in T-20 cricket. Forget about Test cricket and one-day international cricket. They should focus exclusively on T-20 cricket from now on.

You know, one-day international cricket requires a substantial amount of skill. And it is also losing popularity right now just like test cricket. T20 is the most popular standard for cricket right now and it is also easier to improve in this format. There is no doubt that if the Netherlands cricket team concentrates on this format of cricket, they will be able to achieve success. But they will have to work hard.

The final between France against Argentina will be an interesting spectacle and I think it's hard to predict who will come out as the champion because both teams are equally good and they both deserve to be winners. Argentina has a high motivation to be a champion because they have been waiting for this (final) moment for a very long time since they last won the World Cup in 1986. While France is the defending World Cup champion where they are champions at the 2018 World Cup, so I think France will definitely want to defend their title.
I just realized that Argentina has not won a title for a very long time. 1986 to now means about 36 years ago. So of course Argentina's motivation to win the world cup title this time will definitely be at its peak. But France, which has won the title in 2018, will certainly be a difficult opponent. so as you said that the final match this time will really be very difficult to predict. But I'm also interested in the Croatia vs Morocco match for third place. I think these two teams have almost the same style of play. both of them have a fast counterattack style. but croatia should have excelled in the match.

I think the key motivation for Argentina to win this World Cup is going to be Lionel Messi. The players in the Argentina squad are very motivated. They probably look at Lionel Messi and say that we have to play well for that guy. That is the biggest motivation for Argentina right now. If this is the Argentina squad of 2018, I would have predicted that this is going to be a one-sided match and France is going to win. But this time Argentina looks strong.

1859  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Gas ban - A problem for Europe or suicide for Russia? on: December 16, 2022, 03:52:25 AM
Just to remind everyone. This is the 10th month that the European customers are paying inflated prices for their natural gas. The prices were as low as $100-150 back in 2020. Now the Dutch TTF prices are going at $1562 per thousand cubic meters. Given the fact that the EU imports almost 200 billion cubic meters every year, this represents an addition of $250 to $300 billion in a calendar year. And the joke is that the winter season has just started. I am expecting a big spike in gas prices by January-February.
There are indeed expectations that prices will jump to record levels at the beginning of next year, 2023, with the increase in global demand and the decline in Russian supplies, for which no alternatives can be found until the year 2025 at least. Expectations indicate competition between Europe and Asia over gas deals, in preparation for the strategic reserves for the coming winter.
The rise in gas prices will cause a rise in the cost of living in Europe in particular, and the European economy will lose its competitiveness with the rise in production costs.

European economy has already lost it's competitiveness in the manufacturing and heavy engineering sector. Many of the factories and chemical plants have been shut down (BASF in Germany for example). And the problem here is that once the market share it lost, it takes many decades to win it back. EU officials are refusing to accept the reality. They are still dreaming about replacing fossil fuels with renewable energy overnight. And at the same time, they are hell bent against the most viable form of renewable energy (Uranium).

After the implementation of the oil price ceiling, internal Europe is becoming chaotic because of the plan to impose the gas price ceiling, Germany is opposed because doing so will cause more severe consequences for the manufacturing industries, while other countries argue that it will save their people from today's record high gas prices.
Britain and France have just announced that there will be no gas shortage this winter, which may be true, but finding new supplies for next winter will be a difficult problem if Russia is excluded.

Ferran Torres to Barcelona was a shocking transfer to me, I didn't see it coming and until now I still wonder why Manchester city opted to sell Ferran Torres to Barcelona knowing how good he was playing for Manchester City. Too bad he is struggling for games at Barcelona, I bet he will be wishing he had stayed back and remained at Manchester city where he was getting enough game time. Good news for him, Arteta seems to be interested in Ferran Torres as a prospective replacement for Gabriel Jesus.
Ferran Torres is a precocious player, but the truth is that he was not getting enough playing time in Manchester City, back then Pep even opted to play without a striker, sending Ferran Torres way down the pecking order at City, he saw an opportunity to move to a club like Barcelona and he took it, City saw the money Barcelona were offering and they had to take it, both parties were happy. Mind you that when Ferran arrived at Barcelona, the club didn't have many of the players they have now, and he was playing regularly then, but last summer Barcelona bought quite a lot of players, including striker Lewandowski, and Ferran now has to manage a place on the bench as he mostly comes on as a substitute.

Having said that, if Arsenal are interested in him, then he could grab the opportunity and come back to the EPL, quite a lot of attackers have been linked with Arsenal this January, including Athletico Madrid's Joao Felix, i'd prefer the Portuguese sign for Arsenal rather than Ferran Torres, he is a better player imo, but the window will open soon and we'd see the new faces that would arrive at the Emirates.

It is quite disappointing to see that Ferran Torres is not playing regularly for Barcelona. And obviously, it is likely to be in his long-term interest to move away from Barcelona, knowing that he’s not expecting to get a substantial amount of playtime.

It might be a worthwhile idea for him to switch to Arsenal if they are actually serious about him. Because Arsenal are currently playing very well. And if he does manage to win the English Premier League with Arsenal, that would be a big achievement in his career. Because Arsenal are taking him as a substitute for a very significant player. So he will get a really substantial amount of playtime at Arsenal which he is obviously not getting at Barcelona. And I think it is also in the long-term interest of Barcelona to let him move on. As a result, they will be able to improve their defense.
