1841  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam alert : Do NOT INVEST in Genesis Mining on: July 17, 2016, 06:58:31 PM
So i will be earning 1$ per day and roi in 425 days. SO isn't that profitable.

No that's not profitable.
That's them giving you back 1/425th of the money you gave them, each day for 425 days.
It's called "back where you started".
Unless of course, it all goes to shit in those 425 days and the famous "fuck off" get-out clause gets invoked.

You are wrong : It's not profitable because difficulty of the network will go up too. So your 1$ revenue will be less and less with time, until the fees cancel your contract. And I'm ready to bet with you it will be before you ROI.

I understand what you're saying, my comment was based on the impossible "things will stay as they are today" scenario.
But yours is based on the assumption that network difficulty will continue to increase. I agree that this is highly likely, but not absolutely certain.
One thing we do agree on is: it's not worth doing.
1842  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Opinions about Sky-Hash.com on: July 15, 2016, 02:25:12 PM
I have a very strong feeling that this 'sky hash' is a successor of hash ocean. I mean the price is like the same just the time of roi is just different.

Uses a similar off the shelf ponzi script too. Look at the bullshit chart, for example.

Whatever happened to Highkart, by the way?
Amit?
They turned into a cloud mining ponzi, when people were still learning about PB mining.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=561264.0

Interestingly, Amit has left his phone no. over there, so that people can provide this no. to Delhi police to nab him down.

Regards,
Amit Kumar
09971955204

So the timeline was April-October 2014 and then Highkart basically ceased to exist?
No retail Bitcoin platform, nothing, as was promised in the press at the time?
Why did he never get negative trust, was there no comeback for him at all, he could just carry on?

He can just come back a couple of years later, spin this bullshit and no-one says anything? WTF?

@tmfp

Hi,

Just to introduce I am Amit here....
Just FYI we are not a "scam" and sincerely trying to do a respectable job. In this industry where u find scams every day on cloud mining, managing our position is very difficult for us and hence we don't market it too much unless a good set of customers have tested our services and attest to he genuinity of it.
......
We are currently running a 7-8 Phs mining setup for our customers and surely are one of the counted top miners in the world. We command a lot of respect in mining community across China and work directly with manufacturers, you would hear some great announcements very very soon from our side globally!

Regards,
Amit Bhardwaj
1845  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Opinions about Sky-Hash.com on: July 14, 2016, 10:59:00 AM
you all seem not to read my topic. i already know they are scammers too. i asked if they may stay legit for about one year, asked for opinion, i didn't ask if it's a scam or not

So, you want to give your money to scammers knowing that they are scammers, and then you want us to tell you it will all be ok?
Fuck off.

Some newbie is threatening to call the Feds because he got ripped for 6 euros by bitcoinmining.me/ , so we better put them on the 7/7 list.
1848  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcoinmining.me/terabox.me Illegal and camouflaged SCAM on: July 13, 2016, 08:13:45 PM
Treat it as a 6 euro lesson not to give money to cloud mining sites that show no proof whatsoever of mining.
To conflate FBI/murder/Apple and 0.01152BTC/scam site/your naivety is absurd.

Thats not Amit Bhardwaj.
He is:

I know.
I am referring to another Amit (Jaiswal) who used to promote Gain and has now gone out on his own with an MLM scam called Powerhashing.com, also based in the Dehli area.
I wonder if they know each other?
1851  Local / India / Re: The Spread of MLM Scams: PowerHashing.com on: July 13, 2016, 12:42:30 PM
Oh look, Powerhashing and Gainbitcoin, both promoted by Amit Jaiswal from Dehli. I wonder if the Amits know each other?

1852  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] HashOcean and GainBitcoin are run by same scammer on: July 13, 2016, 12:38:38 PM
Mark Lee is a fictitious character. The real bastard is the serial scammer Amit Bhardwaj, who is from Delhi, India. Please read: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1440600.0

One of GainBitcoin's pumpers Amit Jaiswal, also from the Dehli area, is now a Founder at MLM scam mining operation Powerhashing.com.
1853  Local / India / Re: Amit Bhardwaj/Kumar and a HashOcean clone called Gainbitcoin. on: July 13, 2016, 12:33:19 PM

Small world, isn't it?
(another cross post)

Oh, and Amit Jaiswal, one of the Shiny Suit Trio and Co Founder of Powerhashing

also used to pimp for another Dehli based scam Gainbitcoin, reviewed by me here and Scam Accusation here
(and other MLM shit like Phyto science wtf?)

His promo stuff amusingly sandwiches a post about Law Enforcement.
Can you go to jail in India for fraud?
I bet they're not very nice, no shiny suits in there.

1855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CPC] Capricoin - The Peoples Coin on: July 13, 2016, 11:51:50 AM

You miss the point, if those 200 million premined coins were available in the supply today the price would be under 2000 satoshi, essentially this market can be easily manipulated because there is only 8 million coins and it's POS. Centralized distribution and all the power with the creators and POS holders.

Not exactly with the creators, more with what is described as the "marketing arm" of Capricoin, Vizionary.com, which is an MLM structured scheme run by CEO and Founder Frode Berg.
Frode Berg has an interesting history, most of which is conveniently missing from his sanitized Vizionary CV.
E.g. Pyramid scams such as World Games Inc. (collapsed), T6Poker (collapsed), Ausante (limping along).
The basic question is: How big a crook is Berg, small, medium or large?

CryptoKeeper802 with his non stop rah rah pumping posts is part of this operation and goes by the name of Caleb Wright.
He is a self appointed "educator" in cryptocurrency, a growing industry full of motivational stuff which usually ends up directing innocent noobs in search of information towards whichever scheme pays the "educator" at the time.
He is a "leader" (MLM speak) within Vizionary, making his money from referral commissions.
They hold "Leader Conferences" in Benidorm Spain, which just so happens to be where Tahir Ali, the CEO of Topsites (see OP post) abides.

All totally trustworthy of course, especially when linked to an altcoin.
1856  Local / India / Re: Amit Bhardwaj/Kumar and a HashOcean clone called Gainbitcoin. on: July 13, 2016, 11:22:07 AM
I see that Johny Depp has started a Scam Accusation based on this thread, which means another couple of thousand views.
Some people have tried to dig for more on Mark Lee but not much concrete yet.

Keep digging and sharing guys, there is no reason a legitimate operator would not want to address the points that have been raised about Gainbitcoin.
1857  Local / India / Re: The Spread of MLM Scams: PowerHashing.com on: July 13, 2016, 09:26:16 AM
Thanks tmfp for pointing this out.
Powerhashing is actually conducting a seminar in Bangalore.  Roll Eyes

Maybe someone would like to go along and ask them a few questions based on this (cross posted from my main thread)?

Thanks to some great partnerships we have established with hardware providers, as well as to our bulk purchases, we get the best price on our employed technology. This means we get the hardware cheaper than the normal market price. What also bears great importance, considering the maintenance costs, is the storage of the miners: we have several farms and each location was chosen to fulfill two important criteria: cheap electricity supply and little or no need for cooling.

This is fairly standard bullshit. No specifics, nothing.
The last sentence implies a cold environment with geothermic/hydro energy, fashionably usually Iceland, Scandinavia or the wilds of China.
Being Indian based, maybe the Himalayas?
Maybe a State-of-the-Art installation, cooled with crystal clear mountain spring water, lovingly tended by Sherpas on their day off?
Maybe not..

Time for a YT video uploaded a couple of weeks ago, 33 seconds of mobile phone video shot by the looks of it in a disused shop, with about 24 x S5's and 15 x KNC Neptunes perched on some wooden shelving, wiring by a blind knitter and cooled by leaving the door open.

LADIES AND GENNLEMEN, I GIVE YOU POWERHASHING'S GLOBAL BITCOIN FARM  Grin

State of the Fucking Art indeed....let's put some manufacturers spec numbers for this pile of obsolete crap thru a calculator.
I'll give them a generous $0.06 electric/overhead cost and a 2% pool fee.

So, Powerhashing's 78.6 Th/s of 2014's finest mining scrap will provide an annual profit loss of... $417.04
