1841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Earn BTC online with no money on: January 20, 2018, 07:25:35 AM
Hello everyone,

I am a beginner, I start by learning about the cryptocurrency, So i created a wallet on jaxx because i've been told that's very secure!!
So now i'm wondering how to get BTC online without having any money and specially without going through spam websites, And how much time it will takeBTCBTC

Thank you   Smiley

There are lots of ways available to earn money online without investment but you need skills to earn because bitcoin is also a money,no one will offer bitcoins for free.I think bitcointalk offers you a good rewards by joining signature campaigns for that you need to be a great poster with enough knowledge about crypto related informations. If you use bitcointalk forum only for the sake of earning purpose then you will be out of the game soon by the DT members.
Faucets is a way to earn bitcoins but I think it is not worth to do,it will just consume our time and you won't get enough rewards for our hard works through faucets.
1842  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: selling on localbitcoins.com and buying on mybtc.ca on: January 19, 2018, 05:29:53 PM
Hi guy.  I'm relatively new to bitcoin and cryptocurency in general.  I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not it is illegal to sell bitcoin on localbitcoins.com and buy from mybtc.ca?  The goal is to make a small profit but doesn't always work out that way.  Has anyone done this before or know if it is legal or not?
It is not illegal if your country never banned trading of crypto currency in your country.

Many traders are doing this kind of traders to make money in no time but doing this kind of trades comes with risks of losing the bitcoin price while the transactions are in pending.Because now a days the time required to get the confimration of a transaction is longer sometimes it takes hours based on your fee.If you pay high fee then there is no meaning of doing this kind of trades because your profits will be paid the the transaction fee.
1843  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Has anyone sold BTC won here in sig campaigns? how does tax work? on: January 19, 2018, 01:08:11 PM
Im looking at this and it's giving me an headache. Will need to get everything compiled and tracked down to every single satoshi I want to sell to prove im not a damn criminal (I hate how im a criminal by default in the eyes of the State).

In theory, you can have multiple personas via multiple wallets. One is your "legit" wallet and one has coins that can't necessarily be accounted for. As long as bitcoins are fungible, the latter wallet still has value. You just need to be careful about a) linking it to your "legit" wallet in any way and b) use the funds as cash under circumstances that don't require KYC.

Also it seems clear that if you ever mixed any amount of coins, these mixed coins can never be cashed out because you cannot prove the origin.

Why is that so? Once you remove all connections to your old UTXOs, can't you fabricate a new "origin?" Here in the US, I'm fairly certain that cash transactions in the low thousands get very little scrutiny. Hypothetically, one could use some "cash" (wink wink) to buy those mixed coins, and hold them as an investment to be sold later. As a buyer, how could you have known you were buying "mixed" coins? And why would it matter?

So maybe even trading with Monero will make it impossible for you to buy a house with the gains because you cannot prove the trace of your money through a blockchain that is masked.

If it can't be traced, doesn't that mean you can just hypothetically make up the transaction details? No one can prove otherwise, right?

If you buy Bitcoin with cash, you can no longer put it into the banking system, because if you do and you get caught, they will ask you where the money comes from, and as far as I know, if you can't prove it (if there is no receipt of any kind that would prove it was a transaction for legal money) then who knows what will happen, from a very high tax to total confiscation of funds, this is why I was worried about selling some of the coins which I mixed one time to test a mixer out when it was a new thing and I was curious... now im stuck with these coins and I can't use them to pay a house.. I regret so much mixing these damn coins but BTC was worth a lot less back then.

Just because they can't prove it, it doesn't mean you are ok to go, otherwise anyone sellind drugs for cash could argue the same and put the money in the bank.
I think we are safe until we pay enough taxes for the government.I think US government has separate taxation system for crypto usage so you need to follow all of them to uase your bitcoin which is earned of made from signature campaigns.
But my country don't have any specific rules and regulation yet for bitcoin earnings so we are enough to pay the income taxes yearly to avoid these kind of situations.
1844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MONERO in 5 years on: January 19, 2018, 12:04:11 PM
What would be your price target for 2023?. This coin has UNLIMITED BLOCKSIZE, it cannot be hacked nor traced, it is faster than most top coins, and its supply is smaller that Bitcoin (around 15million). Besides its price is VERY LOW
XMR most undervalued coin still because it has great potential then most of the popular coins and it has greater anonimity too but still the price is around $330.I hope people will understand the potantial level of bitcoin soon and will start investing on Monro also. But it is hard to predict the price of morero in 5 years from now but I hope monero can reach $800 by end of this year.
1845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the year of other altcoins? on: January 19, 2018, 04:02:22 AM
Like the title, is this the year of other altcoins and ICOs rather than the Bitcoin?
Due to the last problems in the Bitcoin blockchain like increasing fees and time transaction, the increasing interest on this world will bring more valuable scenario in others cryptos?
Maybe this year will be the year of ethereum because at the beginning of the year it shows a good sign of increament in price but recently the crypto market is collapsed due to the regulation of crpyo curreny in China and South Korea so every coin price was crashed. So now it is hard to predict which coin will give good profits in this year.
1846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened to BTC and other ALTs? on: January 18, 2018, 04:50:08 PM
These past 2 days were scary and the entire market was bleeding. So why such dumping was there? And will be any correction or rise in prices?  Undecided

Yeah the prices of all crypto currencies are rising and it is good to knows that bitcoin again crossed $12K.The reason for the huge fall in crypto market is due to the regulation of crypto currencies in china and korea. Now people from the other countries realized that it is a good chance to buy cryptos so the price keeps increasing.Bitcoin increased upto 23% and XRP upto 70% and almost all the coins made huge bump on today.

1848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the decline continue? on: January 18, 2018, 02:53:58 PM
I think the crash already finished because every coin is in green mark so we can start investing now.But the crypto market is always filled with bumps and dumps so there is no guarantee that price always will increase. So keep your investment in long term and don't panic when the price was falling it is just temporary and it will recover soon. You can see that it was recoverd a lot in a single day.
1849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is NOT DEAD on: January 18, 2018, 12:23:54 PM
Yes,bitcoin is not dead just see the price now and it is almost back to $12K,some hours before it was around $9000 something so bitcoin can make anything at anytime so the investers will be happy for this price bump.
Bitcoin will be there forever and it is going to be the currency of future so keep your bitcoin tightly and never sell them on panic situation which was happened for last two days.
1850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade without identification? on: January 18, 2018, 03:03:31 AM
Hi,

The exchanges I saw till now demands a copy of my ID card to let my buy or sell anything. Is there anyone that dont ask for it? Im not happy with let my ID through internet, and I dont know how can they do with it. Is it possible to do antoher way?

Thanks
I also encountered that exchanging site they ask me for me to give my identity by using valid ID, but i think this is for good and reliable services from their costumers to be safe and far away from scammers. But if you really like not giving valid ID's exchanging site there are hitBTC and Binance you may try these sites and they are also having a low transaction fees like deposit your money on your account and withdrawal.
As you said some exchanges asking ID verification for trade,Recently I am also asked for an ID when I try to sell a little bit of bitcoin in localbitcoins.com.Maybe it is necessary to provide an id to avoid the crminals who can use crypto currencies for illegal activities easily. But I don't think providing an ID over internet is not secured maybe it will be kept securd by the exchanges. But for me ID verification is normal if you are an illegal and it is ok to complete id verification while trading.
1851  Economy / Speculation / Re: time to buy soon on: January 17, 2018, 03:17:51 PM
Hello my friends.

Is it me or is it time to buy Bitcoin and ethereum soon ?  Grin
I am wonders when everyone want to sell their crypto currency someone looking for suggestions to buy coins.I will say buy both the coins you are going to get them for very cheaper price. But don't buy now wait for few more days because there is high chance for price will fall more.
1852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Betting" on the ICO can lose all, Bitcoin bottoming out $ 11,685 on: January 17, 2018, 01:16:29 PM
ICO is a form of capital call that is similar to an initial public offering (IPO). Other than that, instead of receiving a share, the investor will receive token.
Risks associated with ICO activities have raised concerns among many countries. In 2017, China issued an ICO ban and closed its domestic electronic money exchange. More recently, the Korean Attorney General proposed a bill banning all electronic money transactions.
ICO is the most riskier for of crypto investments because there are many ICOs are run by the scammer they will steal all your money in the form of ICO sale.Once it was done then they will hide aways. But many tokens will get good values after the ICO sale which is due to their great development team.So if you want to make more money then it always comes with risks so we have to pick legit ICOs to make money or we will lose all.

1854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who will win the crypto KING of 2018? on: January 16, 2018, 05:09:07 PM
We are still at the start of 2018 so it is hard to predict now itself who will be the king. For me bitcoin will be the king always and ethereum can be a good alternative option for bitcoin but it can never be able to reach the price of bitcoin. The next big coin in terms of price is BCH and It may die in 2018 itself. So bitcoin is my choice for the king of crypto in 2018.
1855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who knows why every crypto is falling? on: January 16, 2018, 10:20:10 AM
When I saw the prices of crypto currencies there is almost every coin's price fell upto 20%.Do you think this is just happening due to South Korea's ban over crypto currencies or there is other reasons for that.

I hope the condition will be back normal soon but I am worried a lot. Sad
This question is really hard to answer because no one knows when the price will fall and rise it is all happening due to decrease in the demand for crypto currencies. This maybe happening due to many exchanges stoped accepting new users so it decreases the demand litte bit but the price is falling in a huge rate like it was fell upto $130B in total coinmarket cap of crypto currencies. So it is better to be patient now than selling our coins for loss it maybe a trap of big whales too.
1856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Trade - Which is Better? on: January 15, 2018, 04:09:12 PM
It may changes according to the each personal, trading is consider as a job and it can give you good amount of earnings weekly or monthly. But holding is an investment which can multiple your invested amount and can give it back in short or long term according to your coins.
But for me holding is the best option because it can give more profits than trading and no need to do any works in holding but trading needs lot of efforts and skills.
1857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's the best altcoin? on: January 15, 2018, 09:22:59 AM
Anyone give a suggestion on what's the best coin?
Every coin convinicing that they are the best coin when it was launched but the price of coin will be based on the demand so already reputed coin maybe the best coin in terms of price.
For me ethereum is the best ever coin after bitcoin and it was already recognized by more people so it may have great potential. And it also the second highest coin in terms of coinmarket cap.The transactions are faster and fee is less. So,it maybe the best coin for me.
But everyone have their own suggestion of which is the best coin.So OP need to do his own research before investing on anycoins.
1858  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinpayments.net is not working more than 12 hrs!!! on: January 15, 2018, 05:46:59 AM
The service is not operating, transactions never appear in the cabinet, API is not providing addresses for payments for 12 hrs already, few tens of ETH are lost so far...

No info from support. Their support form even doesn't seem to work

Very suspicious situation  Sad

Does anyone experience the same?

Maybe this could be just a tmporary issue with their website because every exchanges is overwhelming with lots of users and transaction but there are not enough team to handle the new users so many exchanges shut down the registrations already.
I hope you will get the reply soon from the team because there are many people facing the same problems so they need to resposne the each and every person.
1859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All these forks make bitcoin seem scammy.. they should never have been done. on: January 14, 2018, 08:58:52 PM
Do not confuse bitcoin forks and its forks. Forks are almost new altkoins, which only have the name associated with bitcoin. They do not affect the price of bitcoin for the worse. I think you should read more about this on the Internet.
Maybe you have to read about the crypto currencies well,if there are lot of coin will come then the demand of bitcoin will be shattered with all the other forked coins then it will leads to decrease in price. These altcoins are coming with the name prefixed bitcoin so it can confuse the new investors. So it is beeter to create coins with other names than bitcoin.
But I personally think all the forked coins are useless and it doesn't bring any changes to the world but some of the investeors are attracted to the hype but ended up with the losses.
1860  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain Mobile app error on: January 14, 2018, 06:58:47 PM
i tried 15$ Fee for 200$ Transaction
1.) Don't use USD prices to quote fees.

2.) Fees do not depend on the amount you're sending but the inputs of your transaction.

Either increase your fee, or import your seed into another wallet and try to spend from there.
The last solution would be the best one.Choose a wallet, that allows different  automatic fee structures for priority, economy and middle priority fees.
Although fees are not depending on amounts, I would say, that OP's fee is actually much too low.
Actually blockchain app also have customizable fee structure but sometimes mobile apps will shows error like this so it is better to login your wallet from a computer and try to send from there.
Sometimes I am also faces issue with the blockchain mobile wallet when I send bitcoins to an address it will send back to my wallet itself but charged transaction fee.
