The cost of mining varies GREATLY depending on what hardware you use, where your from and what electricity company you use. There is no average. Anyways, here is what it roughly costs me (I have 700MHash): Revenue per month: 193.69 USD Power cost per month: 131.49 USD Monthly profit: 62.20 USD If you take into account all the time I spend fiddling with it and the cost of the hardware, I'd be making a loss. Nowadays due to increased network difficulty, mining is something you do for fun, and not solely to make a profit. Here is a link to a handy calculator you can use to estimate your mining income, cost & profit: http://bitcoinx.com/profit/index.phpAnd a page that compares mining hardware: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

I tried to shorten a couple of URLs and when I used the short URL to open the site, I was sent to dailybitcoins.... Is there a problem or do I have to register/login to test the short links?
you need to press Skip Ad in the top right corner. You should make the Skip Ad button bigger as well

I'm assuming the YubiKey is lost?
I know you're about to pay everyone, but how do the shareholders know you didn't just put their money on black on roulette and get lucky? Didn't read the whole thread but do the shareholders know for certain that an arbitrage bot actually ran at all (apart from the stats page)?

BTW, is 10 chars domain really so long?
10 chars is pretty big for a URL shortening service (the idea is to shorten the url as much as possible). You could also get a 3 or 4 letter .in domain (instead of .cc or .ly) for under $10, less restrictions to register them too.

Can you get any 3DS games?
I'm looking for Super Mario 3D and maybe a few others, if you can get them.

Ah, okay.
I thought because it was quite a short domain it may be worth something.
I don't personally think its short enough. Generally only 3 letter domains are worth above reg fee for non .com domains, for .com domain 4 letters are worth a bit more. Don't forget that domain prices are all relative, if you found a buyer who needs/really wants that domain for a particular reason, then you could sell it for £x,xxx or maybe even more. That applies to pretty much any domain though. This is a handy site for finding out what short domains are worth: http://www.3character.com/priceguide.html

I don't think its worth any more than reg fee at the moment.
I know what the domain means, but there isn't enough search volume for the keyword to suggest the domain is worth anything.

Bitcoins aren't illegal to buy. Go into Bank of America and give them your thumb print (never heard of a bank doing this). When you get your bitcoins, you can wash them using ewallet services so that you will receive different bitcoins to the ones you purchased, this way the paper trail is lost and, as long as your careful, you can spend the bitcoins without it being possible for them to be linked back to you. Check out this guide for more information on how to stay anonymous: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Anonymity

Wait a while and it'll show up.
You should also note 0.00009648 BTC is only worth $0.0004.

people already pay a taxes on their income and assets, and now you tell that we pay a tax when exchanging those same assets between us ?
Depending on your country/state you can be liable for sales tax on transactions (also called VAT, GST). If the good you purchase then goes up in value, you can be taxed on that as well in some places. All of this is usually on top of income taxes. Yep, taxes suck so bad.

To the miner that mined the block your transaction is in.
Reward for solving a block is 50BTC + transaction fees.

"Hey Mr Businessman! Let's communicate about topics related to making money, but if you want to, you've got to jump through some hoops. First, ever heard of IRC? Install this...."
You have to sign-up to Skype and download the application. With IRC its the same, sign-up to a bouncer and download the application. Most bouncers will automatically register your nick with NickServ and identify you automatically, so you have absolutely nothing to do. In actual fact you don't HAVE to sign-up for a bouncer if you don't need to have your PM's saved for when your offline. You can still access the chat-logs via your browser. I meant to say "much", but I hardly see why that would be considered contradiction since we're talking about the overall features of IRC vs. Skype. Skype is still way better for businesses than IRC. Sorry.
I just don't see the point of switching everyone to Skype when we're all on IRC right now (freenode #bitcoin-otc). We even have a bot that tells us latest bitcoin prices and assists us in trades + a feedback system that works really well. I'm currently working on an escrow bot for IRC so we don't even have to leave IRC to make trades via escrow. Does Skype have any of that? Of course IRC is cross platform, it's a protocol not an app. And Skype is a closed protocol which is why it doesn't really have a web version that I know of.
You tried to use that as a point for Skype, which doesn't make any sense. Anyways, there's no point arguing this because I can feel we're both wasting our time and will never listen to each other's points. Installing Skype and adding you.

Needs a bouncer:
Skype: X IRC: O
+1 Skype
A bouncer literally takes a fraction of a second to set up: http://geekbouncer.co.ukAlso you referred to a bouncer twice. BNC is short for bouncer. Supports video or phone:
Skype: O IRC: X
+1 Skype
I don't use cams on Skype for group conferencing, only text.
Contradicting yourself much? Cross platform for all mobile devices and easy to use:
IRC is cross-platform too, it'll run on any OS + mobile device. Is there even a webclient for Skype yet?

You should also try signing up on http://bitcoin-otc.com/It is probably the best way to buy BTC at the moment, once you get a set up (takes a while as its complicated) and get some feedback, you should have no problem finding a seller to sell you BTC via PayPal or whatever other payment method suits you best.
