1841  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: November 07, 2013, 06:33:15 AM
Ips are from Australia where you are located... TOTALLY NOT AN INSIDE JOB.
That's expected, and the attacker rented an Australian server to proxy as close to my geographical location so it won't raise alarms with email recoveries. Wouldn't you think if it was an inside job, I'd use another IP?

TF- Don't bother answering the trolls. They are not your investors. It is obvious to those of us who invested with you that you were hacked and are the biggest victim here. Just keep us posted on the remaining assets and options.

+1  to this and +10 to the ignore button; the insulting 12 year olds and their indisputable "Omg yuu musta stolenz da bitcoinez!" argument were starting to piss *me* off.  Can't imagine how TF feels.

What a terrible shame this is. Not just for TF, but for the whole community. Inputs was starting to take off as a viable new service; CL had become the de facto place to invest if Asicminer stock returns were underwhelming; we *all* lose when one of the Good Guys takes a hit like this.  Pissy little children might not grasp that "subtle" concept but I'm sure the rest of us do.  Just keep us in the loop, TF, and don't let the bastards get you down.

I dont think a programmer who made Iinputs.io and CoinLenders.com is a scammer.
Inputs.io and CL shouldn't stop, they should be strong after this.

I must be on Crazy pills!!!! You would trust him again after this... WOW I think bitcoin has finally gone mainstream. Pirate must be reading this and going this is way too easy.

What? I thought Pirate was in jail?
Anyway, I hope TF pays back all my XBT in Coinlenders.
This is going to be a big topic at the upcoming Bitcoin Singapore 2013 Conference.

Hi OP

In what way have you secured your service?
Inputs.io was just hacked.
1843  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Earn interest on your bitcoins! CoinLenders pays out interest on deposits. on: November 07, 2013, 06:29:26 AM
I logged into CoinLenders and all my CDs are missing. What happened?

Either way, I'd like to know ASAP how CoinLenders refunds will be handled.  I was only using my Inputs wallet as a gateway into CoinLenders.  And now it's impossible to actually make a withdrawal out of CL.  It registers on the CL side, but not on the Inputs side.

I had a look at CoinLenders and all my CDs are missing.

Yesterday player 30202 won 10% of the jackpot pool (1.6 BTC out of a 16 BTC pool), with a 0.01 BTC bet that rolled lucky number 94.7777. This is the first time someone has won the jackpot with a bet of less than 0.1 BTC! Congratulations!

A full update will be posted soon, don't panic. Only people with the API key enabled was compromised (and will be reimbursed), passwords are securely stored one way in the database.

Security is obviously the most important thing to a Bitcoin wallet, and it's unfortunate that a compromise occurred, and we're learning a lot from it (things that pentests won't catch).

There will be a full update soon, but this compromise was not through a fault of the code but rather like a 'side channel' attack.

keep us posted and I'm unsure what 'side channel' attack means.

I tried to do a wire transfer (deposit) today, but was told that I need the address of the account holder.

What address should I use?

you should see it when you login to bitfinex and under deposit?

http://www.certacoin.com/purchase-certificate/
Please save your order number and email us after your purchase. This will be part of the SERIAL # of your certificate.

Why does the customer have to send you an email?
Isn't it all automated?

1857  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: certacoin.com If you want cash for your Bitcoin there is none better on: November 05, 2013, 12:05:53 AM
I guess but why would you want to purchase a Certacoin certificate for cash if it is only worth that value in cash. To me it really makes no sense and was designed to lock in instant value into your Bitcoin and later be redeemed for cash.

I'm a simple man. If I wanted to cash out Bitcoins (XBT), I'll take cash anytime. Then I'll walk down to the local grocery run by a foreigner who doesn't know anything about XBT.

1. What is your paid up capital?
2. Do you have a licence to operate this business in your area?

my 2 satoshis to OP:
1. denominate the shares in BTC or some call it XBT now. ( don't use USD )
2. hire lawyers
3. hire an auditor
4. get an escrow to act as trustee and distribute the dividends.

my 2 satoshis to potential investors:
1. let the buyer beware (Caveat emptor)
2. do your own due diligence
3. there's plenty of other XBT investments out there. (just like the ones we in BitAngels see on a daily basis)
