1861  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Technical Analysis on: October 10, 2011, 09:31:20 AM
Honestly I've been following the public pricing and I think S3052 is doing a good job on accurateness. He/she may or may not be using a certain style to tell the community how things will be I can tell that S3052 is trying his best to stay neutral with that analysis but at the same time trying to add a little bit of hope to it.

I agree with nmat to a point but I disagree with him where as I've also noticed that most trading around here follows social trends then they do the actual Bitcoin value and I've noticed that S3052 has been accurately following these trends as well so for nmat to say that he is strictly following Mtgox/Tradehill/campbx/bitcoin7 data is far from the truth from my personal experiences.

1864  Other / Off-topic / Whats Bitcoins worth? (forum game) on: October 10, 2011, 07:43:56 AM
Lets play a game called "whats Bitcoin worth?"
The rules of the game consists of...

1]Your reply must include something that is worth something that you can purchase with Bitcoins
2]You can't edit your own post after posting(I recommend that we quote the last person to "verify" like the block chain that nobody has changed up anything, only 1 quote a post to keep the scrolling time down)
3]You can't post after your self the game must keep going one after another person
4]You can post more then once
--------------------------------

I'll start the game by posting after this post.....
1865  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The Cheaper In Bitcoins Solution on: October 10, 2011, 03:31:49 AM
Good to hear I got some peeps watching... as long as I got one Imma keep running my store.

Progress is going good. Just got 3 simple pages to do
"register"
"forgot password"
"cronjobs"

release should be here tomorrow as expected as long as everything goes alright.
I'm checking out "re-loadable debit" cards and how I can use them for my store.
It looks like it requires a lot of sensitive information in order to acquire one like social security and stuff like that
So instead of selling re-loadable debit cards I will sell my services to "reloading" already purchased debit cards.

In the future I will eventually hire someone with bank security expertise and probably run a Bitcoin Debit card system
but for now I'm going to see how this fails or succeeds before I do anything BIG!
1866  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Concern about hiring programmers for project. Advice? on: October 09, 2011, 04:37:37 PM
If you know programming your self but don't have enough time, i would suggest writing a basic code of what you want and then hire multiple coders with little known informaiton about the project to write you up scripts for you. This way nobody knows the whole code or what your doing....
1867  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The Cheaper In Bitcoins Solution - The newly recoded website is going to be live on: October 09, 2011, 02:15:50 PM
Release should be up tomorrow!
I'll keep you guys posted Cheesy

I hope I'm not just talking to my self here either Tongue
Lets hear some noise? You guys want to give Bitcoin a name help me help you. The better we make bitcoin look the higher the price goes. So if anybody has any suggestions at all I'm all ears. I'm a sensible person I believe an Idea only works with the original person assisting/involved in it for it to succeed; Just some assurance I'm not looking to steal Ideas I want to open business opportunities I'm open to paying commission for your ideas just name you price, I'll only use your idea if we are in an agreement.

Wasn't coinhunter or realsolid(or whom ever runs solidcoin.info) supposed to release the new 2.0 like last week?
1869  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: HTML5/Ajax MMO Social Project? on: October 06, 2011, 12:56:19 AM
Where is bit over!? I'd like to work with that guy seems like its taking a while to get that game released I wonder if he is stuck? well bit over PM ME Cheesy
1870  Bitcoin / Project Development / HTML5/Ajax MMO Social Project? on: October 05, 2011, 09:09:30 AM
So I've just been thinking about my ol' MMO game I was on the brink of finishing in Flash Actionscript 3.0 until Facebook decided to only force "Facebook Coins" on everyone so I scratched the whole project as I didn't want to give up 20%(or was it 70%) of my profit to facebook just for "forcing" me to use their dumb coins(This was long before I heard of Bitcoins).

Anyways I was thinking of managing and collaborating in a HTML5 + Ajax based project and most likely JQuery involved. I was thinking the script would detect user screens and fix certain props accordingly and resize the H.U.D. accordingly except now that I think about it this might be a better approach as flash might end up distorting images. Anyways I was thinking a vector art 2d experience. Not sure on the camera angles what ever is more intuitive for best game play. Maybe players can spawn at BitcoinTalk.org Physical Forum then go on quests of fighting off trolls, and possibly going on adventures to tracing the block chain back to all the MtGox stolen Bitcoins and save the day... lol I dunno open for discussion? does this sound like an exciting idea or what?
1871  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The Cheaper In Bitcoins Solution - The newly recoded website is going to be live on: October 05, 2011, 04:20:55 AM
Yes that is a bummer, the best I can do is cut off $5 from the price scince I'm selling everything for dirt cheap to get the ball rolling but what is $5 compared to that price tag so....that doesn't help XD .

I'm looking through other high priced cases and they are all exactly $150 shipping cost, they must do that for insurance I'm sure..unless they way like 50lbs?

If business keeps going like it is I'll be able to ditch my current supplier and get an even more authentic business going here. Looking our for some name brand wholesale suppliers if anybody wants to PM me for some help to get the Bitcoin ball rolling with some wholesalers options.

Remember Gift cards will be sold when the website is released Cheesy
This includes debit cards, godaddy cards, amazon, web hosting costs....etc,etc
I hope this solves the gift card "trust" issues I read around here.

----------------

Here is another update I forgot to point out:
There are now Jquery+Ajax sliders to help with pages and price ranges try out the sliders your self:

Sign ups will be available in the few days and the official website will be updated
1872  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Idea for Firefow/chrome/opera plugin on: October 05, 2011, 03:55:50 AM
Shouldn't be too hard just send RPC commands into the Bitcoin client. But I guess that could be a security problem as well too scince a program could be scanning the ram or somthing lol I dont know knowing about C++ application security....
1873  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The Cheaper In Bitcoins Solution - The newly recoded website is going to be live on: October 05, 2011, 03:54:36 AM
Oh yeah why is it so hard to leave this forum?
Its worse then being addicted to crack!

I know...it is kind of depressing...but question, any idea if and when you'll get some more gpu's in? Then if anyone else shows interest, would stocking the HAF X be a future possibility? We have to have some people here who game, or do some overclocking work unrelated to bitcoin, and if so, the HAF X is an amazing case...heck any of the HAF series cases are great...just a thought...*Looks at his HAF X*...yea...I'm a little biased...

Tongue
That post made meh night!

Yeah I'll check into these HAF X....
*Xenland searches through supplier products lists.....

Looks like I have these 2 (For some reason these are super expensive and have high shipping costs....)

The cost of this is $188.27
+Shipping cost(Flat Rate inside of USA): $150.00
http://computers.pricegrabber.com/cases/Cooler-Master-HAF-RC942KKN1-Black-Steel-Plastic/m792014722.html

I also have this one
The cost of this is $181.51
+Shipping cost(Flat Rate inside of USA): $150.00
http://www.google.com/products/catalog?client=ubuntu&channel=fs&q=HAF+X&oe=utf-8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=8798012959753501500&sa=X&ei=89OLTpfYLc6ksQK9-Pm7BA&ved=0CDIQ8gIwAw

I wonder why shipping prices are soo expensive from my supplier, Maybe just shipping insurance? I wonder if the shipping prices are like these everywhere else?

On another note here is a page with multiple images to show off the photo gallery just click on the product image to see a variety of photos in a slide show format

1875  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The Cheaper In Bitcoins Solution - The newly recoded website is going to be live on: October 05, 2011, 03:04:17 AM
So much more to be done I think I might be able to get the site going live by tonight who knows until then you can check out the new features. One of the most notable features is the exentsive use of JQuery and Ajax to help with everyones shopping experience. I want Bitcoin shops to look good and Authentic as possible so I hope this make Bitcoin look good in the end in comparison to fiat retail shops.

Here is an example product page that utilizes both available options types go ahead play with the qty and the options and watch the numbers change live:
http://cheaperinbitcoins.com/product.php?id=2621

My shipping options will be changing to Help assist me in getting faster shipping. So make sure you read the new terms of service page as well when the site goes live.

1877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So it's fair to say bitcoins are worth $5 bucks? on: October 02, 2011, 06:20:47 PM
Looks like nobody is making money off these things due to electricity costs... but Hey! Atleast we are getting expensive video card hardware for free in the end Wink

I can see it now... everyone that was into bitcoins now turns into a "Used Video Card Retail Store" LOL

1879  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The Cheaper In Bitcoins Solution - Steps we are taking to keep everyone secure! on: October 01, 2011, 07:39:13 PM
CIB will be done in 5 days or so and product purchase will be available again. After the update my cart will natively support Gift Cards, and "Multiple Options" for products and items so this means I can sell Books and have a "Hard Cover" or "Soft Cover" options available to choose from which makes it easier on the shopper since everything will be on one page and layed out all over the place
1880  Economy / Services / Re: I'll glow stick to any song of your choice for 2 BTC on: October 01, 2011, 06:58:50 PM
I think I'll bring the price down to 1.5 BTC per 4 minute song. Just to get these glow sticks from collecting dust.

If 4 or more different-people purchase through this thread The cost is only 1 BTC per 4 minute song, so that means everyone will pay 1.5 BTC and if 4 people purchase from me I'll give back .5BTC so it's a good investment because you get a great video to space out on or play at a party(I do special effects for every video for free! Wink) and if 4 or more people like to party and purchase a glow sticking video you get some BTC back, who knows maybe the price of BTC will be back up to $10  Roll Eyes

-----------------ReCap----------------------
Each video is 1.5 BTC plus 0.1 BTC per minute.

After the 4th person has purchased a video I will send back 0.5BTC to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th buyers after that each video is 1BTC.
I will make all the videos in 1 day to save the cost of glow sticks and I have extra glow sticks just in case.
