Why would we pay 6btc for 4 when you can just get 4 direct from bitmaintech for less than 4btc shipped?
You can (only) pay with Euro and save your BTC. If you live in the EU you will save TAX+Import costs, which is in most countries between 100 to 150(+) euro per Miner. If you think they are too expensive for you, simply don't buy them from me  |

Got my One String Miners today ! and... I loved them ! They are great. I have 4 DIY1 and 4 DIY2 kits. This evening I build up the 4 DIY2 kits and build a small tower. Quality of the boards and other materials is high. Building was very easy. Screw the pcb to the heatsink, connect the wires to the powerconnectors, that’s about it. I used a BeQuiet PurePower 600W PSU I had laying around. Attached two fans, all in a temporary setup. 10 Port USB Hub is a Rosewill RHB-500. I used an ArchLinux PC, downloaded and compiled CGminer 3.12.3, turned on the miners, started CGMiner and it detected all miners. 3 miners were “ZOMBIE” at first but after just 10 seconds all boards were recognized and hashing. All works great with any issues. Temperatuur is stable with only 2 fans (in the most efficient position), 30 to 40 degrees Celcius. I haven’t tuned them yet so they hash around 25GH/s per board. Only if you want to go way over 30GH/s, you can overvolt them, but that voids your warranty. Only when I enter the IP address, written on the white sticker on the antminer, I get a black screen with the words 'LuCI - Lua Configuration Interface'. After a few seconds this screen disappears and there's no connection anymore.
I ran into the same problem. I think it is trying to load the interface but not able to. So the IP address is correct and you are connected to the S1. I would guess a power issue. What PSU are you using? has it got enough oomph? Corsair 600 Watt 80PLUS recommended. I'm using a 450w psu I used a few years back. Thought it would do the job. But if it's my psu, why did it load the interface the first time for me to change the wan settings? I didn't enter my mining credentials yet. a 450W psu from a few ago loses pwoer over the years, You should get a new/other PSU, at least 500W I would recommend. Is your network/PC in the same IP range as the Antminer? Your router and pc should have an IP 192.168.1.xxx . And have you tried another browser? like firefox ? is your Java up-to-date? maybe the antminer interface uses Java.... |

I give it a rest while waiting for my order #2xxx and put my energy in positive things in life. Yeah, I lost money big time, feel scammed, neglected, ignored, not taken seriously as a customer but... I learned my (expensive) lesson: never ever preorder again. never trust a company who offers preorders or if you do preorder be aware of the risks involved including losing all your money (and maybe even more).
I take a cold beer now and I wonder how the people of bitmine.ch will live on the rest of their lives knowing they scammed, frustrated, misleaded and "stole" money/profit of thousands of people. You know what? I even feel a little bit sorry for them....

A lawyer should investigate if giorgiomassa intentionally started this scheme so he could finance his business with our money, and pay us back our own money plus interest only after more than 5 months. (because that's about the duration bitmine owns your money, until they have to give it back) I read that too, but the original ToS says nothing about a 50% compensation maximum, so he made up that "rule" later and we should not accept that (it's not legal anyway I guess). I hope Bitmine.ch realizes they can't pull any extra tricks on us waiting customers.... we will see what happens... |
