Been mining the at http://multipoolmining.com. I had some confirmed shares. Today when I check all my confirmed share are back to 0 and I have not received any coins in exchange. Explanations?

YES   SCAM  SCAM SCAM

Moderate someone this FUD

I don't need to, I am thinking he dumped his coins and he's looking for a way to buy back.

you lose USB stick and it is all gone in seconds, we want to lock all our SYNC's to create very tight secure market, it is part of it's allure

type "how to encrypt wallet" and "crypto" and another search "how to encrypt USB drive" this is your Today's homework, take your time, your future retirement might be in your hands (depending on the amount) also do not give in to immediate gains even if coin goes up to 6 BTC per unit.. hold tight thank you

do not give in to immediate gains even if coin goes up to 6 BTC per unit.. hold tight thank you
I'M holding on to my .3 coin  lol until it reaches 20 to 40btc per coin   Grin still mining for it though

o waaaa. the same guy I gave advice to encrypt wallet.. maybe premature ej**** unloaded fast at the bottom.. simply bravo!

For those of us that were here at launch, I just read through the past 15 pages....wtf happened to our thread. For all of the late people coming to this thread, if you don't have the common courtesy to have patience while issues come and go then get of crypto now. It's not perfect, sources need tweaking for every coin including grandpa Bitcoin. Leave this thread if you are just going to complain and whine all day, I can tell many of you are between the age of 16-24. Here's a wake up call for you, when you finally get out of mom and dad's house, the world doesn't give a fuck about what you want, the reality is you are not special, and not entitled to anything in life. You want something? Then contribute to helping solve issues, blockchains are a peer to peer entity many things on your computer are actually the issue, whether it be closed ports, or something else.

Bottom line, grow some patience if you cannot help. If you are having a similar issues to others, simply state "I'm having that issue as well". The dev reads every comment on this thread and has done so every day since before launch. GROW UP!

eeeeexcellent, however I have very strong hope for *new generation* they will take all of this tech to a completely new level... their fathers and mothers (and uncles) working for corporate institutions are semi blocking our developments, but this will change by their doings.. and for that I am extending my respect and I hope they wont destroy planet in the process

and yes. wallet aint synching.. but this is a trivial thing.. main thing is to have coins displayed in Spendable.. rest will be either worked out by dev in a day or two.. or whenever..  eeeeeassssssy this aint solving cure for cancer.. there is a coin for that too..  Cool

and... we dont see this kind of "give me give me give me now" activity on curecoin where people's lives matter.. think about it. you do "give me give me give me now..." here for pure greed purposes.. let's be honest...

I've been offline for a few hours, and I'm far from my wallet right now, so until I catch up I'm not going to address the technical issues, but I do want to respond to your post. Mainly, because there are elements in it that I both agree and disagree with.

Particularly, this segment :

I'm not familiar with curecoin. I'll check it out later. I just want to put out a bit of a philosophica perspective on the idea of greed.

Don't call somebody "greedy" in a pejorative way if they are trying to make a profit. Profit is gain, and gain is the strongest single motivator of human progress. I am an anarchist and a capitalist, so I'm out to make a buck and do it standing on my own. That being said, I am sympathetic to the plight of my fellows, and give to causes that I believe in when I have the resources to do so. The more you can profit, the more you can give without becoming a mendicant yourself. So, greed is not a negative unless it's out of control. If it's the only driving force in your life, you have a problem. But the other side of that coin is worse. A "selfless" person will give themselves over to "the cause", without thought, without conscience (can't have one if you have no sense of self, right?) and will gum up the gears.

Capitalism is the economic system I choose because it works. It works the best for the little guy right up through the rich cat. Not because it's ideal, it isn't, but because it's something that every person can wrap their head around. Put in x labor, get y reward. Invest it, play for a gain, wash, rinse, repeat.

I really haven't seen that much rampant greed in this thread. A bit of good natured speculation, and some frustrations when it (inevitably) has a problem. I recognize several names in here from the SHAcoin debacle, and some from the much more fun and profitable launch of Zimstake. We all got burned on SHA. Some are still trying to fix it, and others have an itchy trigger finger because of it. Let's try to keep it civil, eh? (not aimed at you, just a general statement).

It does appear that the dev is on the situation. Being on it don't mean he has a handle on it yet, but he will, or he'll call to us for help.

Bitcointalk is a hostile environment. There are some people on here who seem to have a sole interest i causing others misery. Another group that sees absolutely everything as a scam, even when it's so clearly not that they HAVE to simply be trolling. And there are a lot of people on here that think having a few hundred posts under their avatar means they have the right and duty to shit all over newbies. I hate that, though I also have to say that some newbies have it coming. Let's all keep our tempers and NOT jump a guy for a dumb seeming question unless there is good reason to.

I missed the launch of this coin by four hours, because I couldn't be home. I was watching. It was one of the smoothest launches I've ever seen, and the dev has been pretty responsive to the few issues that were encountered. The change from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake is almost never without issue, and if you run them concurrently, less is mined during PoW phase. I understand WHY it's desirable to have a "Pow to here, then PoS" design, but in practice it hasn't worked smoothly ever, as far as I know. It will be rectified, either by the dev or the users. It is, after all, an open source project.

Personally, I am motivated by profit. In the case of this coin, probably relatively short term, though I am mining the multipool. Not because I think the coin will fail, I actually think it has great potential, but because I'm already heavily involved in two other coins, one of which has done me naught but good, and another that led me to be employed in this industry, actually doing something I like doing to feed my family instead of cooking your fucking dinner for the four thousandth time. So, take it all with a grain of salt. A guy wanting to gain has all sorts of motives aside from simple greed, and his greed might very likely feed yours.

I'm also motivated by a different sort of profit. The monetary profit being what most people see, I think this needs illustrated. One of my biggest gains in getting involved with cryptocurrency has been to put some joy back into a rather miserable existence over the last few years. I have fun with this. I've yet to make a large profit on any launch, and have in fact lost a fair amount of my gains more than once. But I am successful by increments, and I ENJOY this! Hell, sometimes even the trolls are amusing.

And I've ranted enough. Carry on, calm down, and life will go on. Hopefully so will Sync Cheesy

not ranting, we are talking Cool hope you had great Saturday , not much to add besides my wallet won't sync would you think just because of crypto and online presence people will lose their nature ? hell no  Cool  excessive greed I have problem with, greed to do good later like employ people on decent conditions or invest in the private version of NASA so we can start exploring outer space, than again I am for whatever you want to do with your money is your business as long as you don't interrupt people trying to do something else with their money, yeah! go America.. still is like that

Curecoin is good because it could be, and in life stranger things have happened, protein folding process might discover cure to your own medical condition as we all develop growing older (no escape! sooner or later we all get old "Alphaville" "Forever Young"

Edit just after I hit quote, and with something cool to boot Tongue

I'm a transhumanist, and I would actually give a LOT to see nanotech/nanobiology find the cure(s) for aging. If I ever do manage to make a fortune, I'll sink most of it into that very thing. Use the gains of one lifetime to purchase another, and solve a lot of problems for a lot of people all at the same time Cheesy That, I think, is the proper use of greed.

As to the wallet not syncing, I'm not home and my wallet is. I haven't been able to update yet. But if you still can't get it rolling, here's something I and a couple others have done in the past with other coins.
1. Back up your wallet.dat file. Preferably several times, since shit likes to happen.
2. Have a friend with a working (synced) wallet copy the whole content of his ..appdata\roaming\sync file except Wallet.Dat, zip it up and send it to you.
3. Replace yours with his, launch your wallet (without your backup wallet at this point)
4. When it's all in sync, delete the newly generated wallet.dat (or use it for a cold wallet, perhaps) and copy your backup wallet.dat in.
5. shut down and restart wallet. Should all be good.

It's a clumsy fix, but it does work.

are you talkin' to me ? are you talkin' to me ?

thank you Sir! deleted all but my wallet yes! started fresh it not like 2 days ago when Chinese pool I was on overloaded and stopped accepting shares and I was away... came back and panic.. 20 servers to rsync immediately , now ? pffff so what it doesnt sync pffffffff

Thanks we will check this out and add it to the OP and globaldenomination.org

Any hint as to what is in the works for development? If the development is solid, I think Global Denomination will be successful due to the quality branding.

all I know is that they identified difficult problem, I am talking to some dev here (across the crypto board various operations) that are performing complex maneuvers with X11 (and even X13) and POS switch and KGW switched to DS many things.. NO ONE is without problems. You have solid team here, new re-launch is a good idea, is not re-branding rather to have ultra clean transition , old minted coins are NOT getting lost. In addition dev offered fully transparent way to distribute "test" coins acquired during troubleshooting period..

I am on two "heavy" mining operations right now, but because of the above will join mining activity against GD because there are RIGHT people behind and their character (from the tech is X11 algorithm coins that I am after) but more important is the operation how it is run and handled during different situation.

going into the sunset now... Cool

If QuazarCoin really requires 60 confirmations per transaction which enhances the protection against double-spending, that is a great advantage over MRO

Someone just sold 6,800,000 and cracked the price again.  Angry Angry Angry

you know it is like that, often a new coin comes up with low value, so people trade, unload one buy another, its ok.. jackpot is a long term investment, I would worry 0 about day to day price flux seriously

remember once POW is over the only way to obtain coins is by purchase and if jackpot is used in online gambling and it is by far one of the growth sectors... people LOVE gambling and will pay anything if they have fun and of course profits! this is one AWESOME coin and idea (JACKPOT) many things...

Cool

This original post was posted on Ddengle.com, Popular Korean Bitcoin Forum, by user named Atomrigs.
The post points out many superior advantages of Jackpot coin. I thought it was very informative and educational, so I’ve decided to translate it and post it here on Bitcointalk.

https://www.ddengle.com/board_trading/688995

1)   Compared to Bitcoin, Litecoin, or Darkcoin, Jackpot transaction confirmation time is extremely fast. If Bitcoin is 1G phone, Jackpot is 4G LTE speed. It is fast enough to be used in everyday life transaction without any inconvenience.

2)   Jackpot hash Algorithm is superior compared to X11, GPU runs cooler and more effectively saving miners electricity cost

3)   Not only it’s effective mining with AMD, it maximizes the effectiveness of Nvidia cards which has been ignored by many coins until now. This opens up huge potential for new miners (Gamers) to come in without having to change their cards to AMD.

4)   It also maximizes the effectiveness of CPU mining. Ratio of CPU vs GPU mining is much more favorable to CPU miners when you compare it to other coins.

5)   It is very resistant to future ASIC miner. In reality, Jackpot coin’s POW mining will be most likely be over (roughly about 1 year from now) by the time anyone develops ASIC miner for Jackpot coin.

6)   For the first time, Jackpot has separate Proof of Work (POW) and Proof of Stake (POS) chains. Jackpot has maximized their effectiveness by separating them, yet complimenting each other.

7)   POS yields about 0.1% of interest every 24 hours. This rewards early miners holding the coins against inflation. Also it promotes holding their coins instead of dumping them immediately.

8 )   Miners have chance to win potentially huge Jackpot amount and become rich!! The Jackpot is also completely randomized so that big pools or farmers cannot take advantage of flawed coding and cherry pick the Jackpot block. This gives smaller miners better chance of winning the Jackpot.

9)   The developers are actively involved with future developments of the coins and maintaining active community involvement.

10)   The community is also actively involved in Jackpot coin’s development. Other developers not related to Jackpot coin are developing CPU miners and other improvements for more effective mining of Jackpot coin.

11)   Miners are more prone to holding their coins rather than dumping it immediately for Bitcoin. Combined effect of interest staking and high confidence in coins future value will actually make the coin more valuable. Value is what everyone perceive it to be, and Jackpot coins perceived value by the supporting community is much higher than its current price.

12)   JPCdice.com is fairly new site, it is less than 2 weeks old, and it is quickly becoming popular gambling site. Many miners are spending their mined coins.

13)   There are many bounties and giveaways by the developers, which helps to further activate the community’s interest.

14)   Currently Jackpot coin is not heavily marketed and current rise in interest is purely driven by community support. This in turn translates in huge potential growth in future when Jackpot coin becomes more well known.

Hope this summary helps new comers and Thank you Atomrigs for your insightful thoughts on Jackpot coin.

Great post!

+100

just excellent ...  Cool I like to spot winners and have luck with them, you know the jackpot idea is great, because it attracts miners! its like a distributed casino... once this coin hits mainstream... interesting things will happen

Blocks are not confirmed any more (staying white).

Any news from this ??

I have 150 Intel I5 pinting on this....  What Happend?.

you are in a biiiig trouble... I just switched rigs but lost approx 3 4 hours.. for me thats a lot of hours..

Do you think we will ever see our coins?

Pool operator here. Someone managed to point a worker with invalid address hence payments got stuck.. spent 3 hours cleaning up the mess Sad Payments are catching up and soon will be back to normal. Sorry for inconvenience.

Culprit was the owner of the address 1SpWXh8...

Thanks for your efforts!

cheers

thanks much.. coins were paid, less afraid now after your explanation, will be repointing one of the rigs at your pool again as it exhibits better performance over the competition

redirected to http://qcn.cryptity.com . coin production is happening, payouts are happening, thank you, appreciate your hard work and attention and resolution to the prior problem. Infrastructure and trust are supra important for development in this crypto and in general all cryptos and public perception not to mention investors and they will come by the trucks (truck loads of course Cool in due time

 Cool

Be aware that difficulty is now at :55,728,540 it is becoming harder and harder to collect, I predict easily doubling within few days, there is no way to scale neither by GPU or fGPA or ASIC... in that way, every node witch is a CPU core will be mining 1 to few coins a day but at the large scale.. imagine the distribution (sparse and wide) this is VERY good for the value and later for commerce applications.

MsCollec migh be hard at work developing from the feature list, he and his team could not do before, because of worry about multipool taking premature advantage, now door is wide open. from you all is asked to hold coins *tight* so the perception and later reality in the eye of investors develops as unique financial instrument of tremendous value.. you have here one of the most unique developments in crypto (+ skilled team) treasure it... Cool

Cool

and... we dont see this kind of "give me give me give me now" activity on curecoin where people's lives matter.. think about it. you do "give me give me give me now..." here for pure greed purposes.. let's be honest...

this coin is crazy cheap! better then MRO imo, and a lot of people say MRO is better then DRK! and it's rare, doesn't get much better then this, and it's almost unknown, crazy stuff.

indeed

Culprit was the owner of the address 1SpWXh8...

Thanks for your efforts!

cheers

thanks much.. coins were paid, less afraid now after your explanation, will be repointing one of the rigs at your pool again as it exhibits better performance over the competition

with CPU miner. so 2008 but no choice there is no Nvidia cudaminer or ccminer X13 support . it is going alrite. could be going better.

Any advice for NVIDA GPU mining X13 do let me know please

thanks in advance  Cool

ok! partial solution found. Nvidia will run with sph-sgminer ... large Nvidia optimization are truncated (OPENCL instead of native) but it stlll beats CPU mining... happy camper coin is as a person said here "innovative" could be that all X11 coin will gradually convert to X13 to fortify...

case of mining software falling behind coin development.. not the first time this happened

thanks for developing this coin.. and have a great night!  Cool

Started sgminer 4.1.0-103-g00015
Kernel marucoin is experimental.

sgminer kernel I am using against boost is marucoin , it seems to be fully compatible...

also above is VERY taxing on the system, all CPU cores are hijacked in the process... need to send a query to cudaminer/ccminer dev , also it is better for the coin value distribution and such if its tapped by people using NVIDIA cards, right now they are steering away from Boost...
